    I personally believe that the negative reviews are completely unwarranted, and although the story was not what many people expected, the game perfectly captured the intended narrative themes. I felt uneasy playing this game on many occasions, but I also think that while I was often left unhappy and shaken after a session, I really feel like I got something very worthwhile out of this game.

    100% please experience this game fully with an open mind. I truly think that this one is an absolute marvel and the blood, sweat and tears of the development team is truly apparent. Very honestly one of the most memorable and emotionally touching gaming experiences I've ever experienced in over two decades.    … Expand

    To understand much better the plot and the emotions obviously you should play the original game. When you play the game you feel so many emotions just like a rollercoaster, it goes up and down. Yes I was sad about Joel’s death but at the same time the game would have been really boring just being in Jackson and going out doing stuff. I think them killing Joel they opened it for more content and a better story line. They could probably even continue it now and make the story line go further. I was also sad to see they switched out Joel from trailers and game play they originally had for him.It had really emotional parts and really adrenaline rushing parts. It was all over a really good game, it could have been a lot worse after he died but they made it really intriguing and fun.… Expand

    It’s emotional and compelling. It went in a direction I didn’t want but that’s what makes it so good. Like watching a good movie it doesn’t do what you want you just have to live the story.

    I know a lot of people are throwing hate at this game (even before the game even released), but based on my experience with the first game I had to give this a chance. I also chose not to watch any reviews for it as well as I didn't want my experience soiled or tarnished in any way. And boy am I glad I decided to go with my gut. This game to me represents the single greatest achievement in gaming. As we have come to expect from Naughty dog the visuals and audio are top notch, but the story, oh my, the story. It is without a doubt the most emotional and gut wrenching rollercoaster ride any artistic medium has ever taken me on. Not only do they manage to make you hell bent on revenge that you will literally kill anyone and everyone to achieve it, they then make you able to relate and even feel sorry for the "villain," so much so that you even regret Ellie's decision to once again try and finish what she started. If you are at all on the fence about getting this game because of some of the bad reviews online, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of this and play through the whole thing. You will not be disappointed. This game truly is a shining example of how video games can be so much more than just a fun time waster.… Expand

    Me lo he pasado muy bien jugando The Last of Is Part II, excelentes gráficos, excelente jugabilidad,excelente narrativa, y excelente historia, aunque uno espera un poco mas del final, éste no es malo. No hagan caso a los llorones de internet, es un juego que vale la pena probarlo.

    El unico problema que le puedo ver a este juegazo es que es exclusivo de sony, lo que molesta
    a los fanaticos de otras compañias. Entiendo su frustracion, pero no la comparto.

    I think some use reviews are very harsh. The storyline wasn't my preferred choice but I still connected with the characters like the first.
    The graphics are incredible and the different game experiences designed I really enjoyed.
    It's still a must play and without the pressure of being a sequel this would be an all time must play.

    Not a 10/10 only cause I didn't prefer a few story aspects.

    also the story is BULL**** is not deep is not amazing is not revealing it doesnt teach e moral, it does nothing but ****ing hit u in the face one time after another, they straight up LIED to us with the trailers they lied and lied and lied cuz they knew what they were doing would be bought by any fan cuz is trash, we have to go with a hatefull character half of the game and in every single moment we see how is EVIL is not a bad person, is not a damaged person, is a really evil person, roten to the bone, we see it many time when almost slaughters dima and saying better to the fact that she is pregnant after one of his friends died pregnant, but stops for a kid that has already seen a lot of detth by her hands, it makes so little sense y so many time, like, the first aera u actualy play out of tutorial is an open area with a map u lok for weapons its cool, the rest of the ****ing game its a corridor, why did u even put that in the first place, elie loses everything in this game, his father his friends his girlfriend almost everyone and everything, and we see how she gets ****ed every time she has to kill someone in a cutscene but doesnt budge while fcking behading ppl that doesnt even know, this is actually ****ed, at the end of the game we see how elie after losing 2 fingers by an abbys bite, after killing like 1000 ppl in total lets her go, just like that, she acknowledges that revenge is bad, thats the plot, the major problem of this game is the ****ing director, who thinks he is the smartest person in the world and only critics can understand games, and he can even see the bull**** he made, I will say this agane in case u u didnt pick it up already

Essentially a movie you can play and what direction of gaming needs to be. Truly it maybe the Last of Us as in non micro transaction uninspired trash to generate profits.     I can't remember the last game that I have given a solid 10, and I certainly can't remember the last game that pulled me like this and held me tight for 30 some hours. It's a risky story, it really is. It should not work, but somehow it managed to be the best overall game I have ever played. Ellie's actions don't make sense until the very last moments of the game, when it all comes together and you find out what really was driving her. It may be easy to overlook if you're not paying attention, and I can see how it would be easy to hate if you're coming into the game off of the review bomb from the trolls early on. Ellies decisions are stupid at times, but in the world Naughty Dog has developed, she's a human. Her mistakes are human mistakes, and those imperfect actions are what breathe life into the story.

    The story by the way, was a masterpiece. I never knew what would happen next. From jumping perspective from character to character, and hopping back and forth through time, they do everything they can to tell the story the best they can. It's very unconventional, and I can understand how it would feel off-putting to some people, but it felt like a progression to the way we tell stories in video games. It always felt like I was just a person stumbling through a world that was alive. They put a lot effort into making the story come alive by the way, so much that the people in factions you face off against have names, and if you kill one in the middle of a conversation, they will yell out that persons name in a panicked way. There's even a block of the story where you get to explore an entire city and search for secrets all over. They really make the world felt lived in.

    I loved this game and if you want to see what it is all about, I recommend you give it a play. Oh and by the way, we learned Ellie was into girls in the Left Behind DLC in 2014. Get over it.    … Expand

While gameplay received better animations and such, it mostly remained the exact same and becomes monotonous and predictable over the 25+ hour story. While it’s not bad, you'd hope for a much bigger upgrade or overhaul of crafting and other gameplay mechanics, but many remained completely untouched. But the gameplay isn’t what causes this game to be a failure in my opinion, because that’s not what people really play TLOU for anyways. People play for the characters and story, which is nothing short of disappointing and misguided in this game. The utter lack of respect toward previous or even new characters prevents the player from getting invested in them, and the game fails to utilize the one relationship the player was already invested in going into the game. Instead they demolish that relationship, and never really show it getting back to anything of what it used to be. Most other characters in this game are stagnant and replaceable, and while they have good performances, fail to make me care about them in a meaningful way. That is, until they get brutally murdered on a quest for revenge. By the end of the game I was so numb to violence nothing shocked me anymore, and I’m not sure what the game was even trying to say through all this violence and misery. What I do know is that I feel devastated for Ellie and deep hatred for another character. I truly hope Naughty Dog lets this franchise die in the pit they dug for it. I absolutely loved the first game, but this train wreck wants me to feel depressed for nothing. Some of the lessons it tries to teach seem so stupidly simple I asked myself if I was even hearing it right. All I can hear now is the ringing in my ears after listening to one of my favorite games get pillaged and massacred in the name of “Subverted Expectations”. Do not recommend. Collapse    … Expand

The story is not great, and while I get what the developers were trying to do, it does not resonate with me. Naughty Dog spent the entire previous game building Joel and Ellie into the characters that I know and love and successfully created that connection. Abby killing Joel 2 hours into the game was a shocking moment for me, as I had managed to avoid all spoilers leading into this. This is not my problem, it upset me but I kept my mind open that this would be the spark for a new impactful story. My problem is trying to shove a character down my throat after immediately making me hate her. Naughty Dog simply did not do a good enough job of making me like Abby, and being forced to play half the game as her is frustrating and ruined the experience for me. I simply wanted to rush through her chapters to get back to playing as Ellie, and that doesn't happen until near the end of the game. For this main reason, I cannot say I enjoyed my time playing this game. The story never has any pay off, and gives no real satisfaction when the credits roll. That being said, for me this is one of the best looking games I've played on this console. Cutscenes and game play look nearly identical, and the environments are gorgeous and well fleshed out. The combat and game play is excellent, and there are key differences between playing as Ellie and Abby that make each character a unique experience despite the shared mechanics. This game could have been the best game on this console, but the story severely hampers any chance of that. For Last of Us fans, still worth a play through to experience the story. I'm glad I played it, but I know I will never pick this up to play it again.… Expand

    It might not have been the perfect execution the community was expecting, but it is truly worth your wile. Although the ending is divisive, I applaud the story directors for sticking to it and giving us something we were not expecting. The mechanics, graphics and gameplay are freaking awesome. I give a 9 just because I would've loved to play more as Ellie and maybe some with Joel. I liked playing as Abby (eventhough I didn't feel any sympathy for her and wanted her dead), but I think that story was more suitable for a DLC.… Expand

This is my first review By far this is the best ps4 game exclusive I ever played. i Finally beat the game and i know i am a late reviewer because i have to experience the full game of it. I waited 7 years for this and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

    Pro:
    The story is amazing. You feel the emotion and the heartbreak of the game, like an oscar winning movie.
    Gameplay is the best.
    graphic OMG beautiful.
    Sound amazing.
    music of course amazing
    characters of the game is great. Ellie and the newcomer Abby.

    Con:
    Nothing.

    I understand that this game is not like because of the story and what happen to Joel. And we have to play the enemy Which is Abby. The point is Yes Im sure what Abby did to Joel, My one of my favorite Character I got Hurt and Sad Of what she did. Made me Cry. but playing Abby story and her gameplay of it is amazing. and I understand why she did that because of revenge. you need to see her side of the story of abby, like said story is amazing thru out the game. and one more thing her weapons in the game I would say its better then Eille. But Eille is better in stealth. DONT Judge Or Make any Negative Things about the game. Because you did not complete this game Plan and Simple.

    Naughty Dog did an amazing Job. If you want survival action game, well this is the game for you and if you play the 1st last of us, this last of us part 2 is twice as good.

Yes, I understand that the loss of Joel at the very beginning of the game is like a slap in the face and such a low death, you don’t want to die on anyone on the planet or even in the entire world galaxy. girls "they flock and I don’t care about LGBT people, and gamers are divided into two types which, they’re cheating this game due to the fact that the main protagonist (hero) dies at the beginning of the game. And the second more serious case of a hat in the direction of the game is history the gameplay itself. As for me, Joel’s time has come, no matter how dark and sad it sounds.
    In general, this game as a mirror for Ellie and Abby was killed by Ellie, you can say the guardian of a teacher who has seen a lot in his life, and whose father Abby killed Joel to save the girl. Ellie had a pregnant girlfriend Mel and Ellie had Dina who was also pregnant, I mean that this game positions a difficult, difficult drink-wrenching life of two girls, and after all, most gamers do not understand the most important plot and it saddens me very much.

I didn’t wait 7 years to play as a character that killed someone so special. The way Joel died didn’t even make sense. Tommy wouldn’t just give up their names to random people. This completely ruined my two favorite characters of all time, and barely even touched on their relationship and forgiveness struggles. This game was a total disappointment.     This game is beyond my expectation in every aspect. Naughty Dog is trying to tell a meaningful and deep story which can probably only be told effectively through interactive video game. However, ND has clearly overestimated the gaming community. Time will tell.

But it was a depressing addition and a solid addition to the Naughty Dog family. Naughty Dog recreated the lore so well. The graphics are just a taste of what Ghost of Tsushima will look like. The story in this is crazy, with some insane twists left and right.I have to say; I enjoyed Last of Us 2. Not as good as Last of Us 1. It's definitely not a mess like the internet is saying. But it was a depressing addition and a solid addition to the Naughty Dog family. Naughty Dog recreated the lore so well. The graphics are just a taste of what Ghost of Tsushima will look like. The story in this is crazy, with some insane twists left and right. Throughout the game, I was feeling heartbroken, sick, depressed, and I began to question Am I on team Abby? or Am I on team Ellie? Telltales were masters at that and seeing that being integrated into Last of Us was insane. The story did, however, felt a bit disjointing at points and a bit more editing and tweaking would have helped the story a little bit more. But in the end, it's a great game and when it's all over, you'll find yourself feeling depressed after beating it.

    Now before i begin i just want to say that this review is going to have 3 sections. 1st section is Ellie's campaign. 2nd section is Abby's campaign and the 3rd one is an overall score

    1) Ellie's campaign
    I could understand why they killed off joel at the start setting it as the basis for her whole revenge storyline. However, i would have personally preferred if they had spent the intro trying to build abby's back story and character more before we actually play her campaign later on. And i would have preferred for dina to have died instead to have more of a revenge for my lover storyline but i digress.

    The environment and the graphics were amazing and some of the scenes got me right in the feels especially the guitar scene in the music shop when ellie was singing ill be gone. I really like the open world nature of Seattle Day 1 for ellie's portion of the campaign. I feel that they could have pushed the boundaries further with regards to the world being a bit more open in seattle day 2 and day 3. I like how the game progressively introduces the various new monsters and stakeholders into the game and ellies dialogue with dina feels very natural and organic. One of the few gripes i have is obviously when jessie suddenly appeared and said "do you think ill let you do this on your own" which was joel's line in the trailer. Would have preferred if it was maybe tommy or if she ran off on her own and dina found her later on would have made more sense. The flashbacks for ellie's campaign are incredible too especially the dinosaur museum scene. My last gripe is i felt they killed of jessie too fast and they didnt do enough justice to the character.

    For Ellie's campaign alone i give it a solid 8.5/10.

    2) Abby's Campaign
    Now here comes the controversy. As i mentioned above, had the developers spent more time developing abby's back story and character in the introduction i may have cared a bit more for the character and would have been more immersed in their story. But because the background wasnt well developed at the start i literally felt nothing for Abby and to add fuel to the fire it was her who so cruelly killed off joel. I understand from a creative point of view why the developers did it this way but from a fan's point of view it was really horribly done. As a fan i really couldnt buy into it and whats more they made us play half of the whole damm game as abby. And the ending in the theatre whereby you have to beat ellie up broke my heart so bad and made me even more pissed at naughty dog. All these negatives aside abby's campaign does have one strong positive. Its locations and set pieces. The stadium at the start of the campaign looks gorgeous and who will ever forget that massive boss fight in the hospital or that never ending descent from a skyscraper of a building, searching that shipwrecked ship or scar island for that matter. Btw i did feel that they could have done something more with scar island like making it a bit more open worldish. Yara and Lev's story was unnecessary in my opinion and felt very much like filler to add to the runtime. My score for Abby's campaign is a 5.5/10. Simply because i couldnt give a **** I literally just rushed through her entire campaign. 3) Overall
    For the gun and crafting mechanics there really arent that many changes. There are some new bombs and new weapons you can use but thats about it. Stealth combat is pretty much the same. The mechanics are kinda outdated somewhat for 2020 but i dont really have a gripe with it because the mechanics do work as they are intended to and sometimes dont fix what aint broken is the way to go. For the training manuels and skill tree i did want something abit more diversified and different other than just increasing my listening distance or increasing my crafting speed. For the ending, it was not satisfying at all. There was no proper payoff so like after chasing abby for the whole game Ellie just lets her live. It made me feel like i wasted my time.     Pese a todo el ruido causado, la opinión más importante es la que genera uno mismo experimentando el juego. Es un juego crudo, que te genera sentimientos encontrados pero eso no tiene porqué significar algo malo. Es una experiencia que puede no ser del gusto de todos los jugadores pero que en lo personal me fascinó para aplaudirlo.

There is a lot of emotion in everything, the enemies don't just die, their friends Cry when someone dies, a dog starts crying when his owner dies, the placement of the enemies, The stealth, the combat, the story, everything is deep and tense in this game, the world building is incredible.

    First of all, I'm rating this game a 0 out of 10, so that fanboys don’t get to rate this game higher with their biased 10 out of 10s on here (people need to be warned, that this game is definitely NOT a must-play for all gamers).     First of all, I'm rating this game a 0 out of 10, so that fanboys don’t get to rate this game higher with their biased 10 out of 10s on here (people need to be warned, that this game is definitely NOT a must-play for all gamers). To me, this game gets a solid 5 out 10, but that’s about it.

    Let’s start with the positives first. Amazing graphics (the best on the PS4 lifecycle so far; right next to God Of War and Red Dead Redemption 2), stellar sound effects and voice acting (the voice actors and the sound specialists did a fantastic job), solid gameplay (nothing innovative but fun nonetheless) and the gore in this game is off the charts (some of the most brutal executions and visuals that I can remember in recent gaming memory; on par with something like Manhunt).

    Let’s name the negatives now, which are shorter but WAY more impactful for a narrative-driven game like this: the story, the characters and Naughty Dogs weird handling of the marketing. The story is a jumbled mess of a revenge arc told so poorly, that it makes the player question every decision “they make” (freedom of choice might have actually helped here) throughout its roughly 25-hour campaign, whether it was intentional by the developers or not (which is not always a good thing). Basically all the old characters from the first game (Ellie, Joel, Tommy etc.) make some of the most questionable decisions throughout this game, they are either left dead or a broken mess and they absolutely don’t feel like the characters that we got to bond with in the absolutely perfectly-told first game. All the new characters get the spotlight this time around (like Abby, Dina or Owen) and while they are trying so hard for us to get sympathy with them, it just doesn’t work for all gamers because of either some questionable decisions made by them earlier or throughout the game or by them just being unlikeable to begin with. It is hard to feel sympathy or any kind of empathy for characters, that lack said qualities themselves (especially compared to our old characters from the first game). I feel like the writers had two lanes to go on with this story and the one that I was hoping for, which was a story revolving around the cure and how that action in the hospital would be told around as a tale in their world (basically them being on a hunt for Ellie, so that they can get said cure), Joel and Ellie discovering new places and going on a new journey with new and more interesting characters and stuff like that, but they went with something completely unexpected and, for me, something completely unnecessary. Revenge arcs are not all bad, but when said revenge and the motivation behind it are questionable, not admirable or just confusing to the player, they end up ruining the whole experience. To add on top of that, the story decides to jump around ALOT in between the timelines in the middle of the story (very reminiscent of The Witcher Season 1 on Netflix) and it ends up confusing the gamer and the story flow just gets really tiresome and boring, not even 3-4 hours into the game (the complete opposite of the first game, which was very good with its story flow and had great replay ability).

    By the way, the influx of more female main characters, a more dominant and muscular female character or the inclusion of LGBTQ relationships did not hurt the story in the slightest. They are not distracting, if you’re not bothered (for some reason) by any of these topics. What was distracting to me though, was the obvious false marketing made by Naughty Dog here. Certain characters, that you see in previous trailers, are not in seen cutscenes or gameplay sections in the final product. Whatever intention they had, this is an absolute no-go for any company, to try to falsely advertise characters for their game, that are not in said scenes at all.

    All in all, I think this game had MASSIVE potential and it ended up being a MASSIVE letdown, for me at least. There will/are definitely people, who'll enjoy this game but I'm sadly not a part of them and any future iteration of this franchise has lost any interest from one really big fan of the first game.     It feels like it never hit the editing floor, and though I had some fun playing Abby, I never truly felt empathy for her.

    Who travels 871 miles... just to murder one man? Even her friends' motivations for going with her didn't make sense, especially after the fact. They all seemed to regret it, except for that moron Manny.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. when a game lost its main element, it is just a trash. as the most ambitious game from NaughtyDog, it should tell a good story and all the gameplay / graphics are like the multipliers to the main score. so if the main score is 0, no matter how high is the multiplier, it's just 0, that's how I justified my score.

    this bad story can be easily written by any third grade student, all the beloved characters from part 1 are just tools to help pushing the story to the next plot, and the whole theme is not interesting at all. at the end, all the characters had no development through out the whole game.

    if forgiveness can happened in a sudden flash of memory, rampage can be triggered easily as well. it is totally possible that Ellie will find Abby again after finding that Dina left her, because there is no closure after all.

    this game brings more damages to everybody, and it's better that it doesn't exist at all    … Expand

    Normally I am unsure about a sequel being made for any game due to fearing that it would be ruined, but not for this game. I’ve complimented and respected Naughty Dog more than any other game developers. I watched only the first two trailers, avoided all spoilers, and I was expecting this game was going to be just as amazing as the first.

    However that is not what was done, and I’ve never been more disappointed.

    Joel did nothing wrong, and it seems people really don’t understand it correctly. Joel and Ellie are treated horrifically by the Fireflies. Ellie is unconscious and was suffocating, and Joel was trying to get her breathing again and he’s even calling out for help yet the fireflies assault Joel stopping his attempt to save her and nearly getting Ellie killed. After barely receiving a thank you, Joel is told that Ellie is going to be murdered and that they both don’t even get to say goodbye. They don't even give Joel the decency rewarding him with what was originally promised, instead he's ordered to leave at gunpoint. Ellie is treated even worse, they treat her with complete disrespect and don't even allow her to recover from nearly drowning or to wake up and allow her to know what's going on. Not even 24 hours after the first immune person they've ever seen arrives and they're preparing to kill her.

    I never expected Joel to live and I wasn’t disliking the game because he died. It was diffidently angering, but it wasn’t a problem to me. However now that I have seen the one trailer I understand why so many people are upset about it. It’s completely filled with false advertisement and is a huge lie.

    There was no need to add nudity into the game, and I’m not just talking about Abby, Ellie too. Ellie being half nude was just an excuse to sexualize the character and nothing more. There could have been multiple other ways to achieve the same type of scene without sexualizing Ellie. Abby’s sex scene was awful, and her appearance has nothing to do with it. Another excuse to just sexualize a character and add porn into the game. Any game developer who adds porn into a game to "make it better" I have no respect for. People need to stop being so disgustingly lustful. For some reason people think it’s okay to sexualize everything, but it’s not. It’s actually horrible.

    Whether you care or not this game was very clear on shoving an opinion in your face. The developers had stated that as a fact. They should have focused on making the game a game, and not some garbage propaganda. The problem wasn’t what was in the game, it was how it was done.

    Character development was awful, and then anything that was good was destroyed by the poor story directive. Ellie didn't even feel like the main character.

    There were so many major story failures in this game. Somehow Abby's group of 8, who barely knew the area which has just been hit by a snow storm, and doesn’t have any transport, somehow gets away from Tommy. Tommy travels by horse, knows the area, and knows where they’re going. He would’ve caught up within a week at most and then killed them all. There were so many failures in the story like this and I probably could have accepted most of these flaws if the game had been good but that was not the case.

    The story is diffidently 10/10... for what Neil Druckmann and ND wanted to do, they destroyed what should have been just as good as the first one and they did it on purpose. I wish I could at least give a 2/5 for the good parts of the game, but ND not only ruined it, they also made the first game worse by doing so. So even 1/5 seems like a generous rating. I would’ve given 75/100 to 90/100 for up to the end of day 3 as Ellie, 50/100 to 70/100 up until right before the theater as Abby, and upon completing the game and considering the good parts of it 35/100 would be my highest rating.

    People claiming that it’s a “dark” game and it’s meant to be the way it is changes nothing. I normally really like depressing games and this is not one of them.

    By the end of the game it no longer even felt like The Last of Us.

Не подумайте я не имею ничего против таких персонажей когда они уместны, интересны и хорошо прописаны. Элли из симпатичной остроумной девчонки стала брюзжащей глупой и всем недовольной хабалкой. Реализм тоже пошел прогуляться... Когда девочки по 40кг таскают мужиков по 80-90кг (примерно на глаз) как пушинок удерживая толком одной рукой. Они убили Джоэла одного из главных героев от чьего лица велось повествование и собственно которому мы сопереживаем и испытываем иные чувства и заменили на абсолютно деревянного персонажа в лице девушки чьё имя я не запомнил даже после прохождения. . И я бы понял если это превратили во что то интересное. Но использовать потенциал заведомо любимого персонажа на то что бы сделать говёненькую завязочку... Мда) Вся игра выглядит как будто натянули Сову на глобус. Кроме графики, она отличная но ставлю 0 ибо нужно думать о игровом комьюнити а не ЛГБТ и прочих сообществах игры покупают геймеры а геймеры а их вся эта суматоха не должна касаться. В играх мы хотим отдыхать и и узнавать прекрасные истории а не беспокоиться о проблемах реальности.рукой)… Expand

Im trying to be neutral, first of all as most people know this game is well known because of its father and daughter relationship in the middle of this zombie apocalypse, ND did a really good job, people expect to be experiencing that kind of story at least, they already hype when they see joel in the trailer. But ND decided to kill one of the most important character that they buld ver very hard in the first game. Its ok to kill him but at least make it more heroic. And the way ND force us to play the person who kill joel is a great way to show us a different perspective, but for me it is not enough to make me empathize about her. The ending is pretty good although it is not the ending i want, if we can see more of ellie and joel relationship in the beginning where it can bring back the father and daughter we have been looking for, maybe the ending is going to be more acceptable. To sum it up, im just hoping joel death to be good and meaningful and more emotional so it can always attach to our hearts just like when Arthur die in rdr 2. For the rest of it i give it 10000/10, from graphic, face motion capture, gameplay, sound, environment and the characters development from ellie side.… Expand

Essa visão maniqueísta de que controlamos o mocinho e que ele vence no final está presente em 99% dos jogos em geral, mas alguns vêm para nos fazer refletir. O gosto amargo de The Last Of Us 2, nos faz pensar como a natureza humana é diretamente moldada às nossas necessidades mais básicas. Por empatia criada pela parte 1, torcíamos para que Joe tivesse um desfecho heróico, porém as consequências dos seus atos lhe trouxeram um final amargo, porém merecido. Justiça e merecimento não andam necessariamente juntos e essa percepção invariavelmente vem com a experiência de vida. A vida não é justa, é uma série de eventos aleatórios, ora guiados por nossas escolhas, ora guiados por escolhas alheias. Fico feliz que uma experiência emocional tão grandiosa tenha sido concretizada em um videogame, e fico impressionado com a coragem dos desenvolvedores.
    Entendo quem não gostou e, infelizmente esse jogo não foi feito para essas pessoas.
    Obrigado Naughty Dog. Foi uma experiência totalmente desagradável, mas ao mesmo tempo incrível. E que mais jogos tenham a coragem de dar um soco no estômago, de quebrar a expectativa, de dar um nó na garganta, de arrancar lágrimas.    … Expand

Part II llegó y ya sabemos todo lo que trajo consigo. Un gameplay tan desgarrador y una historia que gira en torno a la consecuencia de nuestros actos. The Last of Us es una historia sobre supervivencia, y en la supervivencia no hay ni buenos ni malos, eso lo dejaron bastante claro desde la primera parte, simplemente se trata de ver quien de nosotros es el último en sobrevivir. Esta es una opinión personal, y si quieres tener la tuya lo mejor sería que no solo vieras el juego o supieras de qué va, sino que lo jugaras, como cualquier otro juego.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
