    Sin duda este es un claro ejemplo de cómo no hacer una secuela, estábamos preparados para recibir un juego que no sea tan bueno como su predecesor en cuanto a su historia ya que superar al primer juego sería algo difícil de lograr pero ¿esto? esto es una burla.

    It feels like naughtydog was forced to make a second part due to the high demand and made sure to butcher everything good and loved about the game so they don’t have to make a third part; and they succeeded, the gameplay is extremely boring, zero investment in the new characters, a storyline that would sacrifice the audience engagement for shock value.     The graphics are not far removed from the original remaster of the first part, although it has been 6 years since its release .The gameplay has changed little, except for the expansion of the main character's backpack and the appearance of dogs at the enemies - not much has changed in the game.     Terrible game, the plot is really bad. However, the game looks really good and the detail level is amazing. Unfortunately this is not enough to make this a good game. Not worth it.

    Fantastic gameplay, superb animation work, and unrivaled quality in and out of cinematics. Best in class story with every character well written. Only critique is the pacing is sometimes slow.

Action, drama, suspense, you start playing looking for vengeance, but some hours later you understand what happend and why, in the end you get 2 different points of view about the same story, the ending maybe awful for many people but for many others it was PERFECT!!     This isn't the Oscars, when you make a game with the sole purpose of praise and rewards then you are going to alienate a large portion of the player base who don't want to eat your life lesson off the spoon you've shoved down their throats. Bad gameplay too, it isn't even fun.

    Felt more like part two and three. It did drag on a bit. The ending has left me with questions. A very fun game to play. Story wise it wasn't as great as the first but still a good story of where Justice ends and revenge begins.

    This game is heavy. Although I bought it two days after launch and played continuously, I found that I couldn't play for more than an hour at a time. No other game has given me such an exhilarating, heart wrenching experience. The creators wrote some of the most human characters I have come across in any form of art and the believable landscapes went far to cement their existence.

    A história do jogo é muito boa, o jogo não se trata apenas de vingança, mas também nos desdobramentos que uma pessoa boa tem no seu psicológico depois de sofrer e causar sofrimento.

With these being said, i really liked the game. Story wise is not better than the first one, i really didn’t like playing so much with Abby and i think the end was a bit rushed but overall its an impressive game. Gameplay and graphics are probably the best ones i’ve played in any game. I totally get why people got frustrated, it happened to me, but i waited 2 weeks to make this review just to be as biased as i could. I think Naughty Dog did something that no one expected and although it was hard sometimes, they are the ones to decide where this story continues. I would totally recommend people to play the game and decide for their own what they think.… Expand

All of the progress into skill trees is reset and the main problem I had with the first game comes back, the shiv crafting mechanic. And that's just the gameplay problems. The story is an absolute **** It tries to convey the message of revenge is bad. While also arguing that revenge is good by not punishing Abby herself. Overall, the start is playable/good, but the entire second half of the game is boring and left me wondering when it would finally end throughout. Therefore I would give it a 5 or a 5.5… Expand

The graphics are superb, and there are some great gameplay improvements, but the story jumps back and forth way too much. Some character decisions at the beginning made make no sense based on the first game. AndPeople giving this game an 8, 9 or 10...or a 0, 1 or 2...just aren't being honest and fair. Yes, I've played it. No, it's not close to a masterpiece, but it's a great game.. I actually enjoy the switch to Abby in the middle of the game, because you get to use an entirely different style of play with her. Between that, the close up camera and 20-30 FPS this game doesn't feel fun to play. I didn't have this problem with RE2, but maybe because it was 60FPS on PC, not sure. After seeing all the review sites and shows giving this game awards, I finally decided to pick it up on the ps4. What a big mistake and waste of money that was...... I was expecting some amazing storyline with amazing gameplay but that is not what this game is at all.

I played the last of us 7 years ago and I very enjoyed it because the story was good and it was funny the joel and ellie's relashionship. They were like father and daughter. So we waited 7 years for this 2. It doesn't matter the Abby's story and we don't want to play her. She killed the true main character in this game... We want revenge him. And you block us. Always. In the end ellie lost all while Abby won. So this is not the last of us... This game don't exist for me.… Expand

    They're a few things that are of undeniable quality that seem to be lost in all the divisiveness of the story. This game is best in class when it comes to graphics, performance capture, and action set-piece moments. The environmental detail, sound, music, and animations are unbelievable. This game is also solid gameplay-wise and exceeded my expectations. You will die a lot, but because the scenarios play out differently and you have so much agency to try different things, it was not an issue. Thankfully checkpoints and loading are handled well. The game is not too long, IMO. The scenarios are different enough to not feel like anything is repeated. Do not rush the game. Take your time and take a break. The game is brutal and intense. The story does jump back in time, so you may want to see what is next instead. Be patient, it is worth the wait. I want to replay in new game + to have all the guns and upgrades. Something I never considered for LofUs. The argument is understandable that the first game has a better story. This game still impacted me emotionally by great performances as much as the first, while bringing the unforgettable music more to the forefront. Understand these characters are flawed and give in to the story they are telling. This is not an RPG. Regardless of how you feel about the narrative, this game is better in every other way.

    HERE ARE MY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PLAYING THE GAME. In settings, set supplies to auto-pickup and also consider enabling pointing you to the next objective by clicking the left stick. This is a resource game, so load all your weapons and have those at the ready before entering an encounter. It is like Witcher in that regard. Prepare and use everything at your disposal. If you are spotted that is okay. Improvisation in fights is what makes this game shine. Use the whole environment. You have a large space to work with, always be moving. If you have too much of a resource, craft item(s) immediately so you can pick up everything. Set auto-aim assist before knocking difficulty down to easy. But, I am kind of a bad shot. :-)    … Expand

    The game is a masterpiece. Fun to play, challenging and with a great plot. It is about loss and revenge in post-apocalyptic world, not teddy bears in a park. The pristine quality of its storyline is rarely found in videogames. Some clearly did not understand it or had their feelings hurt because the story did not go the way they wanted. This is an obvious 10/10.

    A perfect technology, old gameplay loops, bad pacing and a poorly written storyline that actively does everything in its power to make you really feel the full effects of ludonarrative dissonance (what you want to do vs what the game forces you to do vs what your character does in cutscenes).

    Para mim, o mais importante de um jogo é a história, portanto minha nota é 0 (zero mesmo). A empresa apenas tentou forçar a barra com temas que ela acha que são "fortes" e polêmicos. O jogo deixou bastante a desejar. Não perca seu tempo nem seu dinheiro com esse jogo.

A parer mio, gli autori hanno rovinato Joel, devastato psicologicamente e fisicamente Ellie, ridicolizzato Tommy e tanto altro! Incredibile. Di fatto, gli eventi del secondo capitolo, potevano essere compresi, accettati e discussi in altro modo, se questo fosse stato un gioco a se stante o magari, se la trama fosse stata diversa o sviluppata in modo da dare al giocatore una scelta multipla e non far vivere ""passivamente"" una narrazione irritante e, per certi versi, deludente. Vi sono molti bug (che probabilmente fisseranno) ma nelle fasi stealth mi sono trovato in difficoltà. La musica è eccellente grazie al maestro Santaolalla e altri.… Expand

    Polarizing? Yes. But still a master class in story telling. The guys at ND have knocked it out of the park with another emotional example of the world where art meets technology. I didn't like some of the outcomes. But I actually understand the complex differences of perception. We see both sides of the story told beautifully from both perspectives.     Plot: The game presented itself as this great big revenge story, but in this game the villain is the only one that gets revenge. I enjoyed most of Ellie and Joel’s scenes, they were spot on and it reminded me of the joys of being a father. But then the second half of the game (Abby’s part) just dragged... I really did not want to continue the game in that first level where the scars chasePlot: The game presented itself as this great big revenge story, but in this game the villain is the only one that gets revenge. I enjoyed most of Ellie and Joel’s scenes, they were spot on and it reminded me of the joys of being a father. But then the second half of the game (Abby’s part) just dragged... I really did not want to continue the game in that first level where the scars chase you on horses but I kept telling myself I just need to pass this one level with Abby and then I can get back to Ellie and finding out what happens in their encounter at the theater, BUT NO. The Abby section of the game is longer than Ellie’s and on top of that her friends are not interesting at all. In a shorter sentence, imagine if John Marston let Micah go at the end of RDR2. THATS what this game is.

    Gameplay: Almost identical time part 1, it’s the only thing that got me through completing the game.

    Sounds: Phenomenal

    Graphics: Naughty Dog is great at this!

    If you still plan on playing this game t wait til it’s like $20 or borrow it from a friend, it’s not worth $60.    … Expand

    I know for many this game will divide opinions, however I found it to be an absolute masterpiece! The gameplay, story, voice acting, graphics, music score and sound design is like nothing I have ever experienced before. In my humble opinion, it's the pinnacle of gaming and could only be told in this medium. It will stick with me for a long long time!

    Bad writing, poor pacing, and terrible directing make this game with great game play less than the perfect game everyone jock riding claims it is. It feels like two separate games. Just as the music hits a crescendo the record screeches to a halt and starts an entirely new song. You can't pretend that's good directing. For those who are not (let's face it) bigoted in such ways, you are in for an eye-popping adventure withThis is an extraordinary game for which the developers took a lot of risk. They knew by having a gay woman as a protagonist, and a prominent trans character, that they would be opening themselves up to be targeted by a very vocal subset of gamers who would be intolerant to such things. For those who are not (let's face it) bigoted in such ways, you are in for an eye-popping adventure with heartbreak, humor and and ultimately a story unlike anything I've seen in a game. Indeed, what Naughty Dog has achieved here is only possible in a game. This is a story about empathy, humanity, and the moral grey areas within which most of us reside. To say more would be to provide spoilers, so I will leave it at that.

    The original game contained possibly my favorite story in any narrative art form, and this continuation raises every bar. The Last of Us Part 2 is dark, there's no denying it. And it may not be for everybody. The movements, the facial expression (not only during the cut scenes), and a lot of other things.     Everyone has their own viewpoints and the developers decision must be respected. I dreamed my own fantasy and I'm so happy with the results but I wish that Ellie had interest in a guy instead of a girl. That would be much more better.

The last of us 1 was an absolute Masterpiece, a true 10/10 Game, a Sequel wasnt needed, but since they announced it, people were of course excited to see what Naughty Dog would come up with, and since Naughty Dog was till now regarded as one of the Best Game Devs, what could go wrong right? riiiight? Well it did go wrong oh Boy did it go wrong.

    The First Game had not just great Graphics and awesome Sound (Music) but more importantly a superb Story that People were totally Sucked in, and awesome Characters that we loved and could identify with.

    We felt with those characters, had a smile on our Faces when something nice happened, had a tear or two in our eyes when something sad happened, and i would say all the people who loved this game, fall in Love with Joel and Ellie and their heartwarming Father / Daughter like Relationship...

    and here we have The Last of Us 2....what does it have in common with the first Game? Well 1. The Name, 2 Great Graphics (Pushing the PS4s Hardware) and again Great Sound but thats about it....

    The Story is a MESS, same with the Characters! Everything we loved in the First Game was ruined here, they literally shat all over the first Game! And yes, the fact that they killed the belowed Character of Joel in the First 2 Hours, with less than 5 Minutes of interacting with him is **** but its not even the fact that they Killed him...no, most people were expacting him to Die in the Sequel, the **** Part is how he died! They Turned both Joel and Tommy into complete Greenhorns! Esspecialy Joel who would Trust like no one and is always super Carefull with what he does, suddenly trusts those Strangers, follows them in a Closed Area, and allows to be surrounded by those Armed Strangers like a fool! Followed by Tommy telling those Strangers his Name and where they Live and than Joel telling them his Name, even so he would never ever do that?! Its like they held a Sign over their head that says "kill us!" This was so unbelievable poor Story Writing - and no! explaining why this happened does not make it right! They just wanted to kill him so they could deliver this mess of a Garbage Story.

    And like thats not allready frustrating enough, afterwards the player is forced to play as his Murderer for around 12 Hours!!! wtf was that!!! Playing 12 Hours as this extremly unlikeble She Hulk Like Psychopath was a Torture for almost all the people who hated this Game, and reason for many to Quit the Game at this Point and / or even Return the Game!

    What is further annoying is the blatant and forced try of the Devs to make us like these new Characters (Abby) and make us think that they are the good ones while at the same time trying to make us think that the old Characters are the bad Guys (Ellie Kills Doggys = Ellie baaaad, Abby Plays with Doggys and Saves Zebra with her Dad = Abby gooood) nice try but failed hard!

    And Naughty Dog trying to make us believe that Revenge is a bad thing....really???? So When Abby grows up from childhood to adult and hunts down Joel all the Time just to Kill him because he Killed her Father (because he wanted to Kill Ellie!!!!!!) that Revenge is ooookkkkkkkk, but when Ellie than wants revenge for Joels Death, that is suddenly baaaad??? Not to mention that after she slaughters all of abbys friends and an army of other people, at the end she suddely decides not to Kill Abby??? wth!!!!

    so we are even denied revenge on that horrible person, that is abby, so she gets away with murdering our beloved character joel in the most brutal and disrespectfull way, Joel is gone, Ellie in the end completely broken down, what kind of Garbage is this???

    Druckman said that probably many wont like this Game because of all what i just said....well damn right we dont!!! This Game is a gigantic middlefinger and kick in the faces of all the Fans of the first Game! For me this game does not exist! Last of Us ended with the First Game. Period! Also iam done with Naughty Dog, as long as they dont kick that Druckmann out and apoligize for this utter mess, iam never again buying anything from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    By the way, 0/10 Scores and 10/10 Scores are both **** this **** is no Masterpiece so all those "bought" Perfect Scores are a joke, at the same time the Stunning Graphics, Sound and the good enough Gameplay are reason enough why Zero Scores are also nonsense.

    I gave it 3/10 because 1 Point for Graphics, 1 for Sound and 1 for Gameplay, i was thinking about 4/10 but The last of Us heavily relies on Story, and when the Story is bad - like it is here - than the best Graphics, the best Sound and the Best Gameplay wont save it! Therefore 3/10 is my Score, with a big "dont buy this crap"

    There is no easy review of this game. The game isn't a ten nor a zero. It functions well, and has some improvements, but it isn't flawless. Not even close. The fact this game relies heavily on the story instead of gameplay really drags down the overall score.

    Story wise, it's biggest problem is pacing. It is **** awful. The current pacing of the story is: Be with Joel and Ellie until Joel's Death. Split between Ellie and the new character Abby, with a little more emphasis on Abby. Multiple flashbacks, and even flash backing in flashbacks (never do that ever.) Then the climax. The pacing is awful and should've been rewritten. Here's how I would've done it.

    Start off as Abby searching for a cure
    Finds out it doesn't exist because of Joel
    Goes on a manhunt for Joel (but doesn't know who it is)
    Switch to Joel and Ellie
    Battles not only zombies, but also these slave traders that are in the game
    Crosses paths with Abby
    Abby, not knowing that is the right Joel, befriends them
    Joel and Ellie have their argument
    Ellie tells Abby about Joel's decision (from LOS) in frustration
    Abby realizes that is the Joel she is searching for
    Abby (or someone else) kills Joel (Abby feels regret for doing so)
    Ellie goes on her revenge trip
    Abby gets captured
    Ellie finds Abby and have their final battle
    Player decision to either forgive or kill Abby.

    Puts that whole story in different context doesn't it? But that's just my thoughts.

    Gameplay, Naughty Dog did improve it. Some tweaking with the aiming, and Abby is a good laugh to play as. She feels pretty OP, and it is a blast. Punching zombies, her unbelievable speed (with her body type), she's hilarious and fun. I feel like it gets forgotten about because of her storyline.

    The gameplay, soundtrack, and graphics are a definite 10/10. Some creative decisions made are bold but I appreciate them all. Everyone at Naughty dog overworked themselves and were passionate in making this game, and you can clearly see that. Great fun, enjoyed it.

    CONS: This story-driven game lacks a story and was not thought out well - it feels like the people who made this never played the first Last Of Us! The infected/zombies take a back seat which is a huge disappointment! The characters act out of character in major ways. Unrealistic character aspect in a post-apocalyptic world. Some of the characters you come across aren't exactly relatable or likable, others are just boring and don't stand out. Some of the dialogue is boring, cringe-worthy and pathetic. A plot hole around every corner. The overall message the game is trying to send is somewhat lost 3/4 of the way through.

    If you're a Last Of Us fan I'd recommend playing it....just wait for a price drop/sale or rent it.
    However, as a fair warning.... I'd advise to NOT step into this game with the first Last Of Us in mind or thinking it as a Last Of Us sequel. Best way I can explain that is by saying The Last Jedi wasn't really a Star Wars movie and you shouldn't approach it thinking it was going to be one. At least that's my personal opinion on the subject.

    окей - далее - коль кино - значит важен сюжет. ктото топит что мол ЛГБТ - да пофиг, к эту претензий ноль. минус в том, что все очень непоследовательно. вот она пытает, а вот не может выстрелить. вот она валит людей пачками, а потом не может. обе - взрослеют - но все также идут на поводу мести. хотя по факту это все забывает за год. и эти все чувства разносят в клочья кучу выживщих, поселения и прочее. это какая то сказка, но которая подана как реальность. это повествование учит быть непоследовательным, не держать чувства в узде, убивать по первой прихоти и тут же - не убивать. очень все старанно... не рекомендую. это кино оставляет кучу вопросов и удивление... кино как быть нытиком и истеричкой. и это про всех, не только про девченок. и диким дырами в сюжете... вообщем - Детроит лучше. а в это не играете, не надо...

But instead it discredit its value. I was also very disappointed, because they ruined Ellie's and Joel's story. IMHO they destroyed the franchise.

    I’m sad to say this but I didn’t enjoy the game the way I thought I would. There were many different aspects of the game that just turned me off. The game looks visually stunning and the details naughty dog put into visual fidelity is amazing but beyond the graphics, this game lacks heavily everywhere else especially the story. It’s just not believable what they had Ellie doing, trying to justify it by using a really sorry teenage level revenge story. I’m sorry but this game deserves better writing and more evolved game play! The game play is serviceable but I was hoping for a more developed/evolved and matured last of us. The studio only seemed to have added a few new game mechanics including a dodge button, jump button and going prone. They also failed to add any new enemies outside of the “shambler” which is a really lazy one at best. I was really hoping that naughty dog hit this one out of the ball park but sadly they really dropped the ball on this one FOR ME. Maybe my expectations were too high given it took them 7 years but that’s what I expect from AAA studios in 2020. I was really hoping that the narrative would have pulled me in just like the first game did but I could not find it in me to do so. All the characters were acting so out of the ordinary even the new ones didn’t seem to have realistic decision making. I feel like I’m being critical but I have to be given how big the title is and how bad Naughty dog screwed up. They have all the winning elements but they just didn’t put it together correctly. If they just told a more dare I say “generic” story that we all wanted with Ellie and Joel, maybe this would all be different but this is what happens when you take a risk on going woke and fail. It falls flat, especially because the last of us is such a narrative driven game, having a bad story really hiders itself from being anything great. Anyway, i hope they can bounce back with something better or a new IP that is more engaging and fun. This one wasn’t for me. Sorry...… Expand

I play the first last of us game and it was one of my favourite game of all time but this is disrespect to the fans who wait for long time to play the game the gameplay and graphics is out of this world but the story destroy everything Joel in the first game doesn't trust anyone and what happened in this game he gave his name to people he didn't even know for more then 5 min this is stupid and the ending is very bad so you kill thousands of people to let go of the one who kill Joel and kill Jesse and almost kill Tommy and Ellie gf i'm giving the game 7/10 only because of the gameplay but the story doesn't deserve even 1.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II, along with The Last of Us Part I, has the best story I have ever experienced, besides 2001: A Space Odyssey and Barry Lyndon. As a game it is excellent. The gameplay is intense and the atmosphere is really immersive.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’m going to start this review by saying, this game Is not for everyone, but neither was TLOU part 1!

    This is my 1st game review ever, but I feel compelled to add my 2 cents as I am a fan of the original and the zombie genre.

    It’s important to understand that this game may upset the loyalist but remains true to the cinematic story created and in which you play countless hours traversing thru.

    That being said, the world these characters live in is cold, violent, dangerous, painful, emotional, and most importantly has consequences.

    Let’s first understand that TLOU part 1 is not Joel’s story. He is the vehicle that propels the story, which is Ellie’s story. Ellie is the cure; Ellie is the reason to go across the country to get her to the Fireflies; Ellie is the reason Joel transforms and wants to save the daughter he couldn’t. Joel’s story hasn’t been told. Joel’s story is in the 20 years between his daughter’s death and when he accepts to smuggle Ellie across the country. I assume that his story will be told with the TV show coming to HBO.

    TLOU 2 is Abby’s story. She seeks revenge to kill Joel for killing her father. This was the consequence of saving Ellie in addition to stripping away humanity’s hope for a cure to the virus. A selfish act on Joel’s part, yet we celebrate that decision. It shouldn’t sit well with anyone despite it being a great game, but this game at its core is a cinematic experience and that’s what makes this game complex, emotional, and a masterpiece.

    Story: Well if you played it then you know that gamers are split on the story. Some people hate it and some people love it. I have to look at this from both sides of the coin. As a game, it’s complex and I would have to say ahead of its time. Balancing the cinematic along with it being a game is a challenge. However, I do expect more of this with the upcoming PS5. The focus will be not just on gameplay but the incredible storytelling that will sway more towards the cinematic. Now the story in TLOU2 is a great cinematic experience full of violence, danger, pain, emotion, and most importantly consequences. As I mentioned, the story fits the world these characters are in, but I do think there could have been a better payoff at the end. A better ending would have been for ND to have us believe Ellie kills Abby, to later find out that she is actually still alive. This still would have given the gamer closer and still been a setup for a TLOU 3 which is what they intended with the current ending anyway. I think Naughty Dog would need to add a DLC that would entice us to buy TLOU 3. As it stands now there are too many people distraught over Joel’s death and Abby still gets to live. So, I get that. I think a DLC should focus on Lev and Abby in Catalina and the reemergence of the Fireflies as well as Ellie’s life after this experience. Will the Fireflies come after her for the cure? Will Ellie start her life outside of Jackson?

    Gameplay: The gameplay mechanics are hands down incredible. Crafting is always fun and the game is more challenging than the first. I actually like Abby’s gun better so I had a blast playing 2 different characters with different weapons and strength. It was like playing 2 games in one. I also liked that ND added accessibility features which allows new players with a handicap to play. I think the gameplay was fun and well thought out. Thankfully that they didn’t change too much from the original game. Lastly, I like that I got to keep all my upgrades every time I play so that was cool.

    Graphics: Stunning! The landscape is ridiculous and the best I have ever seen! The best scenes are when you first meet Lev and Yara and when Ellie chases Nora. Those were incredible sequences.

    So, I will give this game an 8 overall. I think you have to just try to accept the story and trust in the journey. I think just a standard linear story would have been boring, so I like that ND tried to do something very different at the risk of losing some loyalists. They stayed true to the characters within this world they have created. However, without a DLC I think it would not excite most fans to return. One other thing I would like to see added is perhaps a way to skip some of the flashbacks for your 2nd walkthrough. It doesn’t add value to the gameplay and I just want to kill Scars, Rattlers, and Zombies. Lol! I think it’s a great game, but you must let the story carry you and not go against the grain. Enjoy the ride and you will enjoy it more.    … Expand

    Naughty dog has created another spectacular masterpiece. Play the game and then decide. Playing as Abby is a pain, but it really get's you thinking!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
