    I was highly expecting the arrival of TLOU2. The graphics if this game are brilliant. Combat is brutal and enemies plentiful. Story is well crafted. The aspect of Open World and exploring for supplies works well. I honestly enjoyed this game.

Despite the game being significantly leaked a month before its release and the review bombing on this website, I still kept my preorder and received it on day one. With over 10 hours put into the game so far I can say that it is absolutely amazing, and a very addicting title. Let me break this down into an organized way. Graphics are up first, and boy are they amazing, especially the lighting. Oh my god, the lighting is beautiful, especially on the base ps4. The rest of the game is spectacular too, especially when you get to the second day of Seattle, the wildlife is awe dropping, and i have taken several screenshots because I am so amazed. Next up is sound, and it is very much similar if not better than that of the first title. Gameplay: a lot of aspects are taken from the first game and blended perfectly with elements from this title. Aspects from the first game are approved upon, and the addition of prone mode allows for the stealth aspect, arguably one of the most important ones, really prominent and amazing.

    Story so far: Ok, so Joel dies, I've known that since the unfortunate leaks and jerks on the internet. Man, this scene was intense, very gruesome, I had goosebumps and was speechless. The death was surprising but isn't really shocking given the context o the story and the events from the previous title.

    Characters: Dina is someone that I thought would be the 'annoying one', in the sense of always being cute and flirty with Ellie, but she is actually a useless and nice addition to the story line.. except when we find out she's pregnant. The way it was implemented into the story was kinda random and sorta poor writing in my opinion. The flashbacks from a few years ago with Ellie and Tommy/Joel is also a nice addition, especially for Tommy, a very under developed character in the context of the first game. Jesse is also a nice character that I fully expected to have beef with Ellie dating his former GF, but he doesn't, and respects their relationship, which makes his character that much more enjoyable.

    Weapons: The weapons system is 100 times better in this game than the first one. As opposed to getting the best weapons towards the end of the game, you are able to get really good ones pretty early on in parts of Seattle, making taking out enemies, especially the shamblers, much more easy and enjoyable.

    Workbench: a really stupid thing for me to go crazy over but I really enjoy the overall improvements and designs of the workbench, and being able to see your character actually upgrade and change parts of the weapon, as opposed to the lazy, fixed camera that most developers will have in titles.

    So good job, Naughty Dog, this is an excellent title so far, and I highly recommend people to play it.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, I’d like to say that I have completed the game on the Survivor difficulty level and I achieved the platinum in this game. So, I think that my opinion has some weight.
    This is nor 10/10, nor 4/10. This game is 8-9/10. The story is great. When you play as Ellie you want to avenge for Joel’s death at any cost because of the first game. When you play as Abby the game tells us about her motives, her friends, her thoughts and there we find out about another side of the coin. Also we find out more about WLF and the Scars conflict. During Abby’s story I had a thought that Abby is more sensitive than Ellie who just wants to kill every last one of them at any cost. So I have no questions to the story. It’s clear 9/10.
    What about the gameplay. Gameplay looks pretty good and from the first fights you find out about the differences between the first and the second parts of the game. When you play as Ellie - it’s more stealth-combat gameplay. And for Abby you have all the tools for pushing forward. So, the first one is more meditative and the second is more aggressive. So are the perks. But the gameplay haven’t changed much since the first game was released. Okay, we can prone now and do silencers, but that’s all? I liked the gameplay of the first game and I like this gameplay at all, but without any great improvements I can’t rate it with the highest score. 7/10 for gameplay. And about the technical side of the game. The graphics looks great, but it’s not the best I’ve ever seen. The best is in RDR2. Next up, this game plays without any lags on PS4. That’s fantastic. But, unfortunately, this game has some minor bugs with animations or with textures loading or sometimes with NPC AI. All in all, this game is pretty polished, but you’ll definitely see some bugs. 8/10
    All in all, I wouldn’t even think to write down this review. But I see how people dislike this game and this is all about LGBT+ and killing Joel. So, I give this game for Metacritic’s score improvement I give 10/10.

    This is easily one of the best games of the generation. Compelling story, best console graphics to date (next to God of War) and much needed gameplay tweeks and options. The story elements are subtle, and if you can get past them you will be treated to a game with tremendous depth. Is it perfect? Nope. No game is.     Amazing visuals, satisfying gameplay and a challenging, emotionally complex story. One of the best pop culture experiences I've had in recent memory and possibly one of the best video games I've ever played.

Эбби потеряла отца, а далее и друзей, ее мотив прост и понятен, а то, что она и ее группа оставили Томми и Элли в живых, говорит о ее моральных принципах, которые демонстрируются на протяжении игры. Прошу заметить, что в театре Эбби также оставляет в живых Элли и Дину. Лев играет очень важную роль в будущей жизни Эбби, так как забота о нем - это теперь ее смысл. Эбби, как человек, вызывает симпатию и после всего случившегося за нее переживаешь больше, чем за остальных. Мне нравится Эбби так же, как и Элли. Я прошел путь от абсолютной ненависти к ней до истинного понимания и отношения к ней, и все это заслуга искусного рассказывания историй.     Ellie is back. I’ve been looking forward to this game for a long time and it was totally the wait. It’s not as good as part 1, but still an amazing game!

    Naughty dog has made another masterpiece. The last of us part 2 is nothing short of amazing! Visual stunning, gameplay is great, story is amazing. Another success for ND!!

    A truly amazing game and story.

    I recommend playing it, letting it sink in a couple of days and replaying it again.
    There is a lot more in the story than what you see at first glance. A lot I did not see the first time.

    Gamplay is top notch, just like the sound, visuals and performance of the actors.

    My only problem with the game is that it feels like it drags on a bit long at some points.

    But other than that the game was fantastic. Most of the new characters were great, the gameplay is intense and brutal, and the story was definitely on par with the first, and was even more creative than the first.

    I loved an intense gameplay and amazing atmosphere of survival horror. Visuals are breathtaking and overall the game's definitely set the bar higher for single player third person games. I'm not a huge fan of the direction this story took towards the end. Certain choices made by characters seemed quite irrational from my point of view.     The greatest video game i have ever played. It surpasses the original in ways that i didn't truly expect. Everything from the smooth, brutal, and fun gameplay, to the fantastic visual and audio design, to the deep and emotional story. It's all just truly impeccable. Naughty Dog have somehow managed to outdo themselves with this masterpiece of media. I was engaged from start to finish. ThisThe greatest video game i have ever played.     The first game is about hope the second they had said its about hate, the way that the game is directed and forced the players to feel the hate, its spot on. A game that dont create emotions is a mediocre game, a game that creates emotions no matter what they are its a successful game. Even thought i didn't like some parts as a personal choice i see why they did them.     Yesterday I finished The Last of Us: Part 2, a lot of impressions from the dramatic plot and the level of graphics. Naughty Dog are masterpiece developers. I hope to plunge into the world of The Last of Us again someday...

    A game has never made me feel this much. It's been heavy, disgusting and uncomfortable at times, but so so worth it to see how its characters develop. Wonderful performances. Technical details, man, such a joy to play through it all.

In fact, people feeling so strongly about this game just shows how amazing the story is in TLOU1 and TLOU2. You genuinely care about the characters and what happens to them. They are more than some 3D sprites inIMHO the main reason this game is getting hate is because the players didn't get the story they wanted. I get why people are upset about that but that doesn't make this a bad game. In fact, people feeling so strongly about this game just shows how amazing the story is in TLOU1 and TLOU2. You genuinely care about the characters and what happens to them. They are more than some 3D sprites in a video game, they are people you care about.

    Gameplay:
    Similar to the previous game but with a few additions. More of an evolution than a revolution. You get more weapons, the ability to go prone and more variability in encounters due to the environment. Also, certain enemies like dogs force you to change your tactics. However, it can be a litte repetitive. But mid-way through the game the gameplay changes up a fair bit. If you liked the first game’s gameplay, you will like this one too.
    Combat has significant weight to it; you aren’t just running and gunning like some unkillable soldier guy. The guns feel and sound the real thing. The shotgun kicks back like a mule and alerts everyone in the area. The bow is silent but need headshots if you want a kill and arrows are hard to come by. Every action in game requires a bit of planning and forethought and not just random shooting. On normal difficulty, stealth is pretty straightforward and easy; sometimes a little too easy.
    There are some other minor issues as well: too much micro exploring. Instead of taking in the beautiful vistas, you spend a lot of time looking at drawers and dark corners to find loot to craft items. Consider how essential these items are to combat, this is unavoidable. And this is probably the weakest part of an otherwise exceptionally good game.

    Art/Graphics:
    Everything in this game is incredibly detailed and feels so real. The lighting and scenery in some of the sequences like the subway are just top notch. Animation is likewise very detailed, and characters move life-like. Overall, one of the most beautiful games to date.

    Sound:
    The music and sounds are some of the best I have heard in a game. The sound design is excellent changes based on your environments: your footsteps are different when walking on concrete or sand. Rain sounds different if you are in back of truck or inside a building. The sounds enemies make when injured are intensely uncomfortable as they should be.
    Voice acting as with all naughty dog games is comparable to mainstream movies and sometimes better.

    Story: (This section has spoilers. They are marked)
    Games are quite unique among storytelling media in that it asks you to be an active participant and not simply go along for the ride. And Naughty Dogs is one of the best when it comes to storytelling using video games. The story of TLOU2 is probably the most divisive part of this game. Personally, l loved it. I am a huge fan of the first game and played it again just before playing this game. I feel that the story of part 2 does it justice and fits in the world of TLOU. It is very intense and sometimes outright unpleasant. I couldn’t stop thinking about it even when I stopped playing and I still can't. There are sequences in the game where you as a player do not want to do what the game asks you to do (and unlike something like the Witcher, you don't really have a choice). You have to accept the story that Naughty Dogs has decided to tell even when it is unpleasant. This has unfortunately led to a fair bit of backlash.
    *MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*
    What happens to Joel was pretty much a guaranteed outcome even if the sheer brutality of the scene was a bit much. But it serves the narrative purpose of making us, the player ready to seek revenge. Also switching the perspective to Abby was likewise a great narrative choice and allows us to see the other side of the coin. Towards the end of the game, I just wanted Abby to live and would even go so far as to say that she had the moral high ground.

    But this subversion of expectation is not something everyone appreciates (see also The Last Jedi). This possibly explains most of the backlash the game is getting and the disparity in audience and critic reviews. But if you are willing to give it a go, it will take you through one of the most compelling storytelling experiences in any media.    … Expand

    Now, a more detailed look. TLOU2 has the theme of revenge. It's an old theme, one that has been covered many times. I'm not adverse to stories exploring it, but it does seem a little... generic. I do like that it's used here as a jumping off point to explore larger themes like obsession.

    Both Ellie & Abby are both obsessed with revenge & we see the impact it has on both of their lives. Initially, from Abby's perspective, she gets hers & all seems well. Then Ellie re-enters her life & we see the impact her revenge has on her life. She loses everything. Her friends, her place in the world; had she not gone hunting Joel, Owen would not have gotten worn out so soon, she'd have never met Lev, she'd have likely stayed with the WLF. Similarly Ellie loses everything; her father figure, her partner, their child. Both have a sliver of hope at the end - Abby sets off with Lev; Ellie still has Jackson, Tommy, Maria and Dina & JJ are out there.

    So yeah, the main narrative - how revenge is destructive - is done well. It's a little standard, but it works. But there's more. PTSD. At first Ellie seems fueled by grief, but gradually we come to see that she is suffering from PTSD and, alone with Dina, she lacks the support to process it appropriately. This fuels her revenge, she becomes increasingly driven by both. That's an element a lot of revenge narratives don't look at, so that helps the story to stand out slightly.

    Okay, now to all things queer. This game does representation pretty well overall. There are some issues, but overall it's good. First, sexuality. The game goes to great lengths not to sensationalise or sexualise Ellie's sexuality & in doing so sets a solid standard in representation of LGBTQ relationships, with just one issue I'll cover soon. They have ups & downs, Ellie puts her foot in her mouth at times, there are adorable moments in equal measure. And they avoid the dead lesbian trope. **** finally. I do find it unfortunate that at the end Dina has left.

    The game's flaw is its obsession with negativity. I can't think of a single character aside from Eugene (who passed away peacefully before the game) who doesn't go through Some Horrific **** The game feels like misery porn at times & it's kind of overwhelming.

    Lev. Where to start. Lev is a great character with a nice arc. I love that the protagonists just accept him. Abby hears his deadname & when he asks her if she's going to ask about it, she replies with "do you want me to?", he says "no" And She Doesn't Ask.

    This is where we have an issue. Deadnaming. Story wise, I get why it's there. The cult doesn't accept trans people. But also, they don't want him back, they want to kill him. At times they refer to Lev & his sister as apostates & I don't see why they wouldn't just stick with that. They are no longer part of the family, they deserve death. Just leave it at apostate.

    Lev is one of a handful of unambiguous trans characters in AAA games. When one of such few characters is involved with some of the most horrific misery porn made, including causing the death of his mother in self-defense, it has an impact. I get that TLOU is a truly horrific world, but this goes back to what I said about every single character experiencing Some Real Nasty **** It feels unnecessary, especially given the real world **** trans people have been going through for years.

    That doesn't change the fact that Lev himself is a solid character & it'd be nice to see more of his story in his own words, not others talking about him, which is another issue, almost all of his trans narrative is presented though others. He's a fantastic character and I hope he returns in a potential TLOU3 in a much expanded role.

    So, how is the queer representation in TLOU2? Overall, it's several steps forward. Neil Druckmann & team did a good job. I hope they take on board some of the criticism they've received. Again, going back to misery - I get that TLOU is not a happy world, but if you're going to include LGBTQ+ characters please remember that we go through A Lot Of **** in our current world. Seeing a game that, in some light, can be perceived as saying "see how worse it could be?" feels a little like offering a chocolate bar in one hand whilst holding a lead pipe in the other, ready to strike.

    I'm not saying to put us on an untouchable pedastal or anything like that. Just please bear it in mind & try to offer more balance of light with the darkness. Consider the minorities you are representing. Bring us in. Have us help you on the path. Talk to young trans men. Talk to people who have escaped cults.

    So, did I enjoy the game? Absolutely. It's fantastic, easily the best game of the year so far, indeed the best game in many years. It has issues but so does *all* art. Hopefully the team will learn the lessons of Disney and not have a knee jerk reaction to online negativity. Have confidence in the stories you tell & stand by your convictions.    … Expand

The Last Of Us ll es una historia triste e impactante y cuenta con un final agrio que la comunidad no se esperaba, todos los apartados de este juego son excelentes, gráficos, mecánicas y la parte técnica son sobresalientes. La historia es buena pero no supera a primer juego y tiene huecos argumentales y la muerte de Joel es forzada y hay muchas coincidencias en esta parte, ya lo demás de la historia es buena pero complicada de aceptar. En este juego hay un nuevo elenco de personajes, un gran ejemplo de este es Abby, que es la personaje la cual mata a Joel y jugamos una gran parte del juego con ella y el propio juego hace que empatizemos con ella, y no lo logra del todo ya que nosotros entendemos que ella también sufrió pero nosotros al estar ligados con el primer juego al recordad que ella fue la que mato a Joel no se cumple esa conexión que el juego quiere, lo hubiera logrado su Abby reflexionara acerca de la muerte de el ya que ella mato a serafitas y a gente de su propio grupo solamente para proteger a Lev y que ella vea que Joel realmente no fue malo y que pudiera entender estas acciones, si nos hubieran mostrado esto al menos lograrían mas la aceptación de los jugadores hacia esta personaje, ademas de la muerte forzada de Joel, los huecos argumentales que dejo y que nosotros no empatizemos con abby lo demás en el juego es bueno, es un juego que trata del ciclo de la venganza, es triste, nos da un choque emocional por los giros que nos da el juego y el final es agrio y nos deja impactados y con un chock total. El final del juego es muy controversial ya que a mucha gente no le gusto pero si te pones analizarlo y a reflexionar sobre este es un buen final, al menos para mi. En los demas apartados el juego es excelente y hermoso dejando la historia a un lado.

    This is a game that MUST be played to the very end to fully understand and fairly judge. If I were to have rated this game after 4 hours or 14 hours of gameplay, I’d give it a much lower score due to preconceived notions and dissatisfaction with the story. However, after completing the game, it gets a 9 out of 10 and it is well earned. In many ways, it is a masterpiece, but with minor flaws.

New features such as the ability to prone, tall grass that obscures enemy sight, and the dodge mechanic offers players more options to either cunningly stealth their way through well thought out maps or simply engage aggressively - there are several ways to approach every scenario but the game doesn't pigeon-hole you into one playstyle.
    Story-wise, this game has divided its playerbase in ways I've never witnessed in all my years playing video games. However, you shouldn't take this as a bad thing necessarily. This narrative does require you to come into it with an open mind. If you have rigid expectations coming this and aren't open to immersing yourself in the story that the writers were going for, you're doomed to hate it. Go into it understanding that the writers love these characters as much as the fans do, but fully respect the nature of the universe in which they exist - a lawless world where right and wrong are not determined by any singular mind or governing body. A world where you must seek your own form of justice when you are wronged.
    Personally, I absolutely loved the artistry and effort that was behind crafting this narrative. The writers have had many successes in their previous projects and they easily could've played it safe and followed a similar formula that guaranteed them another homerun, but they opted for a route that was riskier and explored darker aspects of human nature that other creators are either too afraid to explore, or missed the mark in their attempt. For that, I am thankful that this game exists.
    For as much praise as I am willing to give it, it does have drawbacks. There is a point in the game where it builds momentum and leads to what feels like a climax, then abruptly takes a sharp left turn and the pace grinds to a halt and the buildup back to a climax restarts. I don't think this particular narrative would've worked as well as it did if this didn't happen, but it did leave a sour taste in my mouth at the time.    … Expand

    Great gameplay, and great graphics but the story misses the mark on how the player should feel on 2nd half of the game. But the 2nd half was still got me hooked to go on playing when most of the time I would have stopped.

    I have to admit, I wasn't sure they could ever make a game as good as the first TLOU. Well, I was wrong... I loved every bit of TLOU 2, and I couldn't stop playing until I got to the end. Completed the game in 3 days, enjoying every detail of it. I understand why it is divisive, the story isn't trying to please the player's expectations. Actually it is quite the contrary. Everything is aI have to admit, I wasn't sure they could ever make a game as good as the first TLOU. Well, I was wrong... I loved every bit of TLOU 2, and I couldn't stop playing until I got to the end. Completed the game in 3 days, enjoying every detail of it. I understand why it is divisive, the story isn't trying to please the player's expectations. Actually it is quite the contrary. Everything is a huge mess, characters are as disoriented as we are, they don't know if they're doing the right thing. Ellie is inconsolable and it's heartbreaking. Of course, the game is emotionally heavy ; you find yourself crying, laughing, at tense quite often.

    It isn't perfect though. I was playing on the PS4 Pro and the console is starting to show its weaknesses regarding resolution and details. Sometimes it is blurry and they use this sort of film grain hiding some imperfections. It didn't bother me actually. I liked it, it gave it a special sheen.

    With that being said, the game still looks amazing and it is a real pleasure to explore all the carefully created environments. Grass, leaves, light reflections, cracks on the walls, everything is a delight to look at.
    The music and sound effects are top notch, my expectations were high coming from the first game : here again, they didn't disappoint. Voice acting is where the game shines in my opinion. It feels real, it feels rough.

    Overall, the world feels very believable. Some choices of the writers change deeply the gameplay and it's refreshing. I couldn't tell what they are without revealing key points of the story, which proves how much gameplay and story are intertwined.
    Then I have to say that the game makes a point to be inclusive : everyone is represented. Women, asians, jews, black, you name it. Well, at times, I had the weird impression they were forcing it a bit, which I could not really comprehend. It's like they were on a mission to make videogames more inclusive, and I respect that : it's great news for this industry. But it will take more than one game to do it, and you shouldn't bruteforce the inclusiveness into your game. Otherwise, it could be detrimental of other aspects of your game, which fortunately isn't the case with TLOU 2.    … Expand

Si bien es cierto creo que empatice más con la historia del primer juego, puedo decir que este es muy superior en todos los sentidos quizás exceptuando la historia al primero, la jugabilidad, los gráficos, el apartado técnico es impresionante y parece un juego de ps5, te mantiene en tensión constante y logra superar cualquier videojuego del género que haya visto en playstation, yo en lo personal hubiera recortado la mitad de la participación de abby, un personaje con el que nadie puede empatizar y que está completamente roto, parece un terminator y creo que es lo único que no termina de encajar en el videojuego la nota la pongo como un promedio entre apartado técnico, jugabilidad e historia siendo la última el punto más bajo creo por tratar de alargar el videojuego más de la cuenta.

    This game is not for the squeamish or the faint of heart. This is a ultra violent revenge story. The first game was about the love between two characters. This sequel is the counter of that. This story is about hate. TLoU2 feels a lot like Jee-woon Kim's I Saw the Devil. For me, it's easily one of the beste story driven games ever.

    My emotions were all over the place every step of the way. I have spent the last 24 hours running the ending over and over in my head and I have to say, even though a lot of people didn't like it, it taught me something I wasn't expecting. Oh and the graphics are incredible.

Combat was improved from the last title, and this game made me feel good, bad, hatred, guilty, and everything in between. Although there were a few things i personally would've changed, i can easily say that i enjoyed myself while playing, and appreciated this wild conclusion to one of my favorite stories on PlayStation. The visuals were insane as well. Really made me appreciate Naughty Dog and what they're able to do with limited hardware. (I played the game on a PS4 Slim). Was it what i expected? Sono quelle opere umane che, in un determinato ambito, mostrano tutta la maestria e la potenza cui possono giungere le    Credetemi, penso davvero quanto scrivo e non esagero assolutamente. Cosa possiamo definire arte? Cosa possiamo definire maestosa opera dell'intelletto umano?
    Il Colosseo, la Cappella Sistina, i grandi film, i romanzi senza tempo, le grandi poemi, le grandi opere liriche... Sono quelle opere umane che, in un determinato ambito, mostrano tutta la maestria e la potenza cui possono giungere le capacità umane. Questo capolavoro rientra in questa cerchia, senza dubbio alcuno. Non è soltanto un 10 e lode il mio: è un commosso plauso a degli artisti/sviluppatori che hanno concepito e realizzato un'opera immensa, un'opera che arricchisce e arricchirà l'umanità. Un capolavoro tecnico e narrativo di straordinario valore. Grazie.

    Отличная игра, определённо игра года в плане сюжета, проработки мира и геймплея! Многих фанатов первой части расстроит сюжет или повестка но те кто ценит искусство поймут замысел сценариста и оценят его на высший бал.
    P.S. Люблю первую часть, считаю ее лучшей игрой прошлого десятилетия и это не помешало мне оценить вторую часть так как она этого заслуживает. I played the game with an open mindset since I saw how users hate the game, during the first 2 hours of the game we witness Joel's death and I won't say that it was a reasonable way to kill him... it was not, I expected that Joel would die in the game, how I expected that is pretty simple, this is Ellie's story not Joel and Ellie from the first game, it was clear from the E3 Reveal, game cover and from the interviews. The reason to why they killed Joel is reasonable but the way they killed him was unreasonable.

    That brings me to Abby, I don't see a single reason why Naughty Dog thought that the player would sympathize with Abby. It is impossible to sympathize with the game's antagonist. Unlike Ellie, Abby is a very evil character, she has no morals... she kills her own with no remorse. Ellie on the other hand she is on a journey to "Kill Every Last One of Them" there are some scenes where Ellie kills Abby's friends/followers and she doesn't feel good about it, she has morals unlike Abby. At the same time the fan base have known Ellie since the release of the game and people liked her from her silliness and overall a funny character while she was learning from Joel. Abby is a new character that begun with an evil approach, no one cares about her flashbacks with her dad, nor can sympathize when showing us that she plays with a couple of pooches.

    Probably the most freaked up game I ever played. By the end of the ultra-violent emotional rollercoaster my mind and soul were just numb. Even the "happy moments" are overshadowed by great darkness. In my opinion the feeling Naughty Dog were going for came through loud and clear. Arguably even to a fault... Sometimes it really felt needlessly melancholy/shocking, but there were so manyProbably the most freaked up game I ever played.     It took me 26 hours to finish "The Last of Us Part II". I don't understand people who give zero marks, even if they criticize the plot, but say that everything else is fine. I liked the game very much, I don't see any critical problems in it that make my eyes pop.
    Graphics 10/10 Story 8/10 Sound 9/10, Gameplay 10/10

    And, damn, what can I say? I love it!
    All the technicalities aside, the plot is f-ing great! I know, I know...You guys are pissed about Joel, and Abby but, like, why? Y'all really thought in this grim and nasty world of TLOU vengeance wouldn't come for him? Don't get me wrong, I loved that guy as much as I love Ellie and Tommy and the first game in general, but for me it was so damn obvious that he's going to pay for what he did. Simplest choice a writer could make
    Plot's structure is, well, unconventional, but approaching it open-minded gives you a chance to understand characters of Ellie and Abby more.
    Anyways, you can like the game or hate it. Just don't be an **** calling the creators names. They put their hearts and souls into this. Bye.    … Expand

I’d suggest that you approach this game with an open mind, Abby is actually an amazing character and her story is really interesting.

    Because it's raw, it's powerful, it's bare, it's crude... Because it's human on a scale you may have never seen before.
    There were moments where I genuinely paused the game, needing some air, because of a dramatic scene that felt like a kick in the stomach... And there were moments where I genuinely smiled back to the screen, in front of the cutest and emotional scenes you've seen in a videogame - even surpassing TLOU1.
    The amazing graphics and the beautiful soundtrack are the icing on the cake, the catalysts of this emotional rollercoaster.

    Also, enemy NPCs: another level of greatness has been accomplished here.
    They'll talk to each other, calling themselves by names, getting angry at you if you killed their companion, and exchanging information about your position.

    The gameplay isn't new, it's mostly a refined version of what we had in Part 1. Except for a couple of things:
    - The stealth feels great and realistic in this game, it's something you'll crazily enjoy if it suits you.
    - The level design is insane this time, elevating the gameplay to its maximum potential.

Это произведение дает понять что главное продолжать бороться за свою человечность и научится одному из самых главных чувств - Милосердию.

    Стоил ли говорить что нибудь о музыке в TLOU2 ? Выдающейся Густаво Сантаолалья и очередное полное попадание на струны души. Техническая и геймплейная часть - нет слов. Весь актерский состав - потрясающий. Naughty dog во главе с Нилом Дракманном сделали одну из лучших видеоигр в истории, уже второй раз.

    Engagements are way more complex and way longer than in many games. They keep you on your toes and keep the adrenaline pumping. Weapon handling is very satisfying and there's great variety of weapons, enemies and strategies Having played the full game, I can't think of any better game on this generation. For me it beats Red Dead Redemption 2 (which is comparable in tone, looks, gameplay and scope). It looks better than God of War, which is saying a lot. Combat is as intense as any war game.

    На прохождении у меня вышло около 40 часов, проходил я не спешно смаковал каждый момент. У этой игры очень огромная концентрация контента, все время что то происходит то сюжетные перепалки, то в игровом моменте происходит просто дичь (в хорошем смысле), какие то перестрелки, где надо изворачиваться, стрелять, уворачиваться, бежать, прятаться. Мое отношение к ЛГБТ такое "есть ну и ладно хрен с ними что так у них, негатива нет, поддержки нет" , но когда тебя насильно этим кормят, ты думаешь " сука зачем, я же к этому нормально отношусь, а сейчас вы меня заставляете на это смотреть навязываю свое мнение" и все это произошло чуть дальше середины, и только этот один единственный момент, который мне не понравился, и этот момент подорвал меня знатно. В целом игра тянет на 10 баллов, но я поставлю 9, не надо тыкать носом в лгбт.    … Expand

    Fantastic Game! Very emotional in every way, you fell what the characters feel. The face emotions are really realistic which helps to dive in the game.
    The gameplay is really good and the cut scenes are high quality

    best 100 hours i've spent since the last LOU. I assume anyone saying it took 25 hours hasn't actually played it and is just a flat out bigot. I didn't think Naughty Dog would be able to maintain the momentum and gravitas of the first, since it was such an incredible prototype it seemed virtually impossible to follow up, but here we are.

If you are able to analyze and appreciate the level of quality and skill ND has, at conveying emotion in their medium (and parallel to the characters themselves in real-time) - despite how that makes you feel - well you will then understand what so many critics did.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
