    It takes courage to take such a path. As a person who has been waiting for the sequel for 7 years, my great expectation was spoiled unintentionally when the leaks came out. I've been playing the game since the release date by wondering when I was gonna start to hate the game. Because there was so much information pollution about the game.     The game shows a fully constructed universe after the first game. It’s like a great movie with 30 hours filled by so many emotions. It’s nice to see how Ellie and her hatred can change the course of this history, but still make this game so interesting, beautiful and poetic. Such a masterpiece.

    Мне игра понравилась в целом, ведь очень редко бывает такое что ты играешь в игры аж до 5 утра и потом идешь наработу, и после этого тоже продолжаешь играть в игры аж до 5 утра.

    Вот за что можно поругать девов, это за лживую маркетинговую компанию, хотя это часто бывает в игровой индустрии, но я лично помню трейлер в 2016 году, а так же я бы ответил за слегка "позитивные левые" взгляды    Мне игра понравилась в целом, ведь очень редко бывает такое что ты играешь в игры аж до 5 утра и потом идешь наработу, и после этого тоже продолжаешь играть в игры аж до 5 утра.

    Прошел я игру на максимальной сложности за 40-45 часов а так же собрал примерно 50% ачивок.

    Что было хорошо в игре,
    - графика и детализация. Мне было очень приятно расмтаривать некоторые локации и предметы. Атмосфера была сделала очень хорошо.

    - Лично для меня сюжет во 2 части лучше чем в первой части. Лишь потому что я не особо люблю "роуд муви". Это когда героям нужно добратся с точки А в точку Б. Это вынлядит так примитивно и понятно, что даже за сюжетом назвать нельзя. По этому я просто не люблю такое. Я говорю о сюжете без персонажей. Мы их обсудим дальше.

    - Геймлпей мне очень понравился на харде он давал хорошо так прикурить и я после этой игре стал слегка ненавидить собак. Хотя некоторые механики пропали и мне это не понравилось, к примеру в 1 части можно было скинуть вещи со стола что бы отвлечь врага, а здесь такого не было. Так же враги стали очень разнообразные и не то что в 1 части. Вот они были болванчики, а эти реально были сложнын, но не идеальные.

    - Вот что мне не понравилось во 2 части это персонажи, ведь они были на много хуже чем в первой части. Здесь я хочу сказать об персонажах и как они влияют на сюжет. По сути, сюжет в 1 части так себе, но все вытаскивает химия которая происходит между Джоулом и Елли. Если вы смотрели фильм "О чем говорят мужчины", "Зеленая книга" либо аниме ДжоДжо 3 часть. Сюжет который развивается в этих фильма и в игре так себе, но персонажи и их взаимоотношения делают арку очень интересной и тебе хочется за ними наблюдать и смотреть как же они развиваются. Уже эти события делают фильм, игру и аниме интересной.
    Если взять в целом, сюжет + персонажи, то конечно 1 часть выигрывает без сомнения.

    - Что осталось примерно на том же уровне но мб чуть хуже это музыка. Для мне треки во 2 части были чуть хуже чем в 1 части.

    Вывод такой, если вы не фанат стелс екшенов, то может игра будет вам скучной. Так же, если не нравится сюжетное повествования, аля сначала события а потом обьяснения, то вам скорее может не понравится. Но думаю, что у многих слегка были другие ожидания по игре по этому такой юзер скор.

    PS: Так же я бы отметил что данная игра ощущается другой. Я бы сказал что она не подходит под last of us 2(В англ есть такие слова как fit/suite вот как раз и они хорошо описывают идею), но это не означает что игра не может существовать либо она плохая. Она просто другая.    … Expand

    Ignore the haters. This is easily one of the best games I've played in years. It's been a really long time since I last played a game that made me feel the range of emotions this game did. It's an experience I'll never forget.

Naughty Dog have done exactly what was required to make this game an exceptional sequel to a masterpiece. The first game was an example of how game making of a single player should be done to really captivate the audience. This has now been followed up with another rollercoaster ride of emotion and enjoyment.
    As previously mentioned, the first game was an absolute masterpiece so as with any masterpiece you don't mess around with it. Naughty Dog have picked up where they left off and made small enhancements along the way. The fighting mechanics are now more agile and has you less worried about having your face ripped apart. The stealth aspects have been worked on to allow you to conserve your ammo but still eliminate the enemy effectively. This is not an open world game but you can still roam relatively freely to explore and scavenge supplies.
    The whole point of a game is to provide entertainment and enjoyment to the player. The Last of Us 2 does exactly that and takes you on another epic journey. The negative reviews are an insult to those that have created something very special.    … Expand

    It's as I already expected from Naughty Dog. A Masterpiece of a game. One of the games my girlfriend enjoys to watch while I am planning. I live the story, the graphics, gameplay. I think i like it even more than the first one

    This game is PHENOMENAL. I can't get over how amazing it is. The entire story is so rich and fascinating, and I love the characters, including Abby. Naughty Dog really made some bold choices with the story in this game and it really paid off, because it made the game so complex and satisfying.

This game gives us multiple sides and the result is fascinating and really makes you think and examine how we may jump to conclusions in our normal, everyday lives.

    The best part is watching the heads of bigoted immature gamer boys explode with rage over this game. It's been so enjoyable, boys! I wonder how many of them quit after the first 20 minutes, or when they were forced to play a new character, completely missing out on a chance to grow up a little? Regardless, this game is the game of the year and I look forward to more heads exploding and more gamer boy tears as this game rakes in the awards.    … Expand

    She has bad motivations compared to Joel
    Joel saved Ellie for not accepting grief and not to lose his responsibility he has had to protect while Abby was losing loved one she had nor responsibility only memories to cause grief.
    This makes us still care more about Joel with also we have alot of screen time and over years learn more and love him as an icon while Abby butchers him no care even though he SAVED HER LIFE with no hesitation.And Ellie lets her live when I believe Joel wouldnt since she nearly killed her brother tortured him through pain killed him torture and hurt Ellie and killed friend(s) and more and eat some of her hand like wow really smart.Also Joel falls for obvious trap I think shouldve if they did it this way have built up.Also Abby neevr regerets like Ellie when she kills like Joel and we should like her.Also she dosent thank Ellie for saving her and sort of Sam but Ellie prob didnt thank her last time cause she was fine with killing her wife basically Abby is the wrostthing of this game and also they try so hard to make you feel bad for Abby when she dosent care who she hurts when shes mad unlike Ellie very smart but thats my main only big issue other than nitpicks and also Ellie character feels so different that takes awhile for you to grow on her.Also Abby dieing would've improved it to 8 stars for me.Also she tortures Joel who saved her and thinks he deserved more pain even her friend was like the -- got what he deserved like wow I really care for these **** there is great mirroring to the original.But Abby being Joel that boy being Ellie if it was just that 0/10 wanted to break ps4 buy it on disc so you can sell or trade think so can get some money since it isn't worth digital at all.     Sigue la historia donde se quedo, la música es muy buena, el doblaje de superproducción , gráficamente muy bueno ( lastima que no pueda jugarse en 60 fps en ps4pro, lo guardarán para ps5) La historia está muy trabajada, el comienzo me recuerda a RDR2 , que es la parte que más me gusta de red dead , la zona de la nieve

The last of us 2, es una experiencia sumante interesante; la historia es sumanmente inesperada; (tomando como base el anterior juego) la direccion que tomaron es una que no me esperaba para nada, esta cargada de sentimientos, sentimientos transmitidos completamente a travez de todo esta experiencia jugable; por su direccion de arte, banda sonora , escenarios y jugabilidad; la cual de hecho es excelente tambien, similar al 1, pero con mejoras lo cual a si mismo le da un toque freco y mas disfrutable que su anterior entrega; lo recomiendo rotundamente.

This game is not perfect by any means, but I think this game does significantly more right then it does wrong. Sound design/music, Cinematography, UI, Accessibility, and Gameplay are virtually perfect and a marginal improvement from Naughty Dog's previous game Uncharted 4.

    Where the issues arise are in some questionable bloated flashback sequences and a bold dichotomy between our established main character Ellie, and the new 'villian' character Abby. I think this story would have been told much better if it weren't for the excessive use of flashbacks and failure to establish Abby and friends before killing off our previous main character, Joel. This would have allowed us as the player to become more shocked with the death of Joel, and would cut down on the portion of the game where you take control of Abby in Seattle.

    Despite this, I think that the broad stroke of a revenge story on the surface being transformed into a story about forgiveness and how our two main characters change over time was executed fairly well. This game has so much intertwining of plot threads that you probably will need to play this a second time to really appreciate what all is happening between the time you play as Ellie in Seattle to when you eventually play as Abby.

    This story isn't nearly as linear and focused as the original, but I found myself unable to guess what happens next while playing. Ultimately, this resulted in a gripping story that I thoroughly enjoyed for the most part, and would recommend playing.    … Expand

Os sentimentos, as reações, o acompanhamento do desenvolvimento da história como se estivesse realmente ali, vivendo ela com os personagens. Transparecer de maneira genuína o ódio, a angústia, o medo e o desespero que umÉ a experiência mais absurda que eu já tive a oportunidade de ter em um videogame. Tudo que a história e a imersão em que a parte 2 de The Last of Us me colocou é utópica. Os sentimentos, as reações, o acompanhamento do desenvolvimento da história como se estivesse realmente ali, vivendo ela com os personagens. Because The Last Of Us Part ii was single handed, the best gaming experience I've had in a long while. And these people are either trolling and haven't played, or they have an opinion but are toxic about it. I can safely say that TLOU2 is a masterpiece in not only graphical fidelity, but also its evolved and fluid game mechanics, and its phenomenal narrative structure and storytelling. Developer Naughty Dog took a brave decision with this game, and it worked out. They took the decision to make us play different characters. They took the decision to express Ellie's sexuality to make the story feel more real and immersive to today's society. It honestly breaks me so bad that people are hating on the game just because of the past leaks, or their general opinions on LGBTQ+ communities, or even the fact that the story 'wasn't what they wanted'. Well, guess what. The story was never going to be what you wanted. Everyone wanted Joel to live. Everyone wanted to play as Ellie for the full narrative. But thats not the point of this game. This game's theme is revenge as part, but mainly to teach that actions always have their reactions and outcomes. You are meant to feel loss, sadness, some hatred. You are meant to be mad at the circumstances between Abby and Ellie. And thats what makes it so brilliant. You are pulled in by this immersive, intuitive world that is lush with plantlife and the oid world, combined with imminent danger around every corner. The story of TLOU2 is to show that they're never will be a happy ever after. Even the ending is the saddest ending of any game in my opinion. The timelines perfectly tie in to each other. With Ellie being either one step ahead or behind in the games present day. And also in the playable memories between Ellie and Abby. They are perfectly intertwined. And have perfect parallels too, with both having their father figure murdered in cold blood. Both having their friends killed or hurt. Im telling you this now, this game is a masterpiece. The world is beautiful, the narrative is an emotional wild ride. The gameplay has nothing but been evolved for the better. The interactive moments with characters really immerse you and make you feel exactly what the characters are feeling. The games execution is so good that what you feel is no longer empathy, you feel as if you are Ellie. You are on the journey with her. You feel that you experienced Joels death with her. In which, you did.

    So, anyone who has read this and still thinks the game is disappointing, you're entitled to your opinion as long as you have thoroughly experienced the game and have seen everything. But to the trollers and the toxics, just shut up. You're bloody delusional. I will only hear out your opinions until you learn to be fair, kind and want to have a good discussion about this complex, deep lore written world. Because this game deserves to be remembered, for the brave strides it took, and for its incredible execution. Well done Naughty Dog, well done...

In a zombie apocalypse there is no happy ending and things should not play out the way “we want.” I loved the way the game took two approaches and became a huge fan of Abby and her story. A powerful story-driven emotional - and sometimes stressful - experience. A ton of value even with one-time play through.… Expand

    I will speak in order of Plot (NO SPOILER), Technical side, Gameplay and Defects of the game. At first I couldn't understand why this game was so critically acclaimed. Yes, it was definitely a very high quality game, but it didn't seem as incredible to me as everyone described it. Then, something happened at some point, which will completely reverse the perception, not only of theI will speak in order of Plot (NO SPOILER), Technical side, Gameplay and Defects of the game. At first I couldn't understand why this game was so critically acclaimed. Yes, it was definitely a very high quality game, but it didn't seem as incredible to me as everyone described it. Then, something happened at some point, which will completely reverse the perception, not only of the previous half of The Last Of Us Part 2, but of the whole saga of The Last Of Us. That event will lead to an ending that emotionally destroys the player, a very open ending, more than the first chapter. Personally, I recommend playing both The Last Of Us and Left Behind, both equally important for understanding the ending of the second chapter. If you are looking for a game to finish quickly and well, well, this is not the game for you: it lasts almost 30 hours, even if on the internet there are speed runs without glitches for only 5 and a half hours. From a technical point of view, well, what about ... it takes the wealth of Horizon Zero Dawn screen polygons and multiplies them out of all proportion and combines them with incredibly detailed graphics and animations never seen before. The dubbing (Italian), as in the first chapter is perfect, in some sections, as in the first chapter, even better than the original. The gameplay is the logical and coherent evolution of the first chapter, personally I really liked it. There is one thing, however, that I did not like. The bailouts and the checkpoints system, in my opinion, don't work well. In the initial part, the rescue system risks eliminating even 15 or 20 minutes of exploration, data that although the player saves later, the game will save at the previous checkpoint, canceling entire exploration sessions. On the contrary, towards the end of the game, the checkpoints are disproportionately large. Practically, every occlusion of an enemy is equivalent to a checkpoint. This will allow you to kill one enemy, target another, and if you miss the shot, you can restart from the last checkpoint without having to kill everyone you killed before making a mistake. I find this thing broken and absurd and I hope it will be resolved… Expand

    Very fun gameplay and the graphics are incredible. I loved exploring around Seattle & reading all those notes you found and finding all easter eggs etc etc.

    The game was a lot scarier than the first one too which i really liked. The runners, clickers & stalkers were much more aggressive and harder to defeat.

    I really liked the story. Though i wasn’t enjoying playing as Abby that much. But other than that this game is a masterpiece and definetely a must play for all gamers.    … Expand

The fact these people loved in their lives, had protection and felt the need for revenge. It's hard when you start seeing other perspectives and the game dips into mental health, lesbian relationships and transgender battles. As well as a host of other things. It's a deep game but some relationships shops are wholesome and meaningful. Game play is smoother and the graphics are stunning and incredible. The clickers still give me nightmares so theres that too. I loved this game. 10/10 will hopefully play again to fund the trophies I missed.… Expand

    Not only is this the best PS4 game I would argue it's the best game in a decade. Truly a marvel in every sense of the word. Compelling story in an incredibly well r realized world. Cannot wait to start up a new game. This is a must buy.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. “The last of us part I” is only considered a powerful story because it’s bold ending. The story without it is simple, linear and I it is quite standard. Of course it has good pace and amazing performances from all the cast, but it’s filed with a very old Hollywood cliche: “traumatized grumpy middle age man gets soft after is forced to deal with a teenage rebel”. The game world is vast in possibilites and Part II takes advantage of them, filling the not so linear story with a interesting background: the Seraphites reminds me of “The Handmaid’s Tale” world where religion is used as a pillar stone to manipulate and control people in a world of crisis. The WLF plot line demonstrates how a prominent society can be subdued to a twisted leader. But this informations of the world can only be enjoyed as long as you explore every corner of the game. And I was thrilled when the story took us to the Seraphite Island.

    Since I despised Joel’s decision to lie in the ending of the first game, his fate in Part II is not revolting to my eyes, and it reminded me of choice/consequence like Robb Stark and The Red Wedding. Where a choice based on a noble sentiment such as love, can cause damage to others as a whole.

    Ellie felt way more interesting as a character in Part I than Joel; and her shift in personality in Part II is believable after all the trauma and lies she suffered through all her life. Abby’s storyline is well constructed when dealing on the consequences after Joel’s murder and her motivations runs in opposite direction as Ellie’s, until of course the point she is forced to review it.

    In the end, when both Ellie and Abby decide not to kill each other (yes, Abby could easily attack Ellie from behind while she was crying) we understand the unbalanced weight of vengeance versus forgiveness, and the incredible loss faced by both of them while choosing to learn this balance it in the most brutal way.    … Expand

    Im totally in Love with it. The movement is awesome, the grafics are incredible, the Sound, the characters, also the Storytelling is on top.
    Im a huge Fan from beginnig the Series and the second game is better than the First one. Tought hard Story, im heart broken, but the game is amazing.

    I played through the first one on launch day on the ps4 and loved it, this sequel give me those old feeling again of exploration and getting lost in this awesome world. Yes yes (spoiler) a loved character dies, I did tear up but it added to the story and the drive of ellie.     When it comes to complex storytelling, this is a 10/10. The nerve to deconstruct characters, to even have a queer main character - those are things that rarely happen in AAA Games. And it always comes with a backlash, as you can see right here.

Jogando isso eu senti medo, desespero, angustia, raiva, ansiedade, amor... Fui forçada a lidar com tudo isso, e corrigir meus pensamentos e sentimentos que em certa parte eu vi que não eram racionais, tomei um soco no estomago para aprender sobre empatia, e dentre outros sentimentos que não sou capaz de descrever. Me peguei em desespero por personagens que eu nunca pensei que iria me preocupar com o bem estar, e vivi uma experiencia absurda de incrível. Vai ser difícil jogar qualquer coisa que supere essa obra de arte, não consigo pensar em nada que se compare, eu nunca vivi uma experiência tão real com uma história fictícia na minha vida. Esse jogo vale um 10, bem construído e justificado, angustiante e amargo, não passa a mão na cabeça, e com certeza quem deu um score baixo para o game não soube lidar com tais emoções.

    Amazing game with good story. Characters design as always great. Naughty dog never disappoints. There are only 4 games in this year that deserve to be called the game of the year, tlou2 is one of them. I'd love to play part 3, and I wait for multiplayer (in the first part was wonderful)
