    Extremelly bold, emotionally exhausting, impactful, exciting, and painful. It became a game I didnt want to play but became a game i needed to play. It delves deep into dark themes of humanity and revenge, something I've never seen any video game do. Gameplay is addicting and music is immaculate. I believe this game tops its masterful predecessor in every way but also compliments it well.Extremelly bold, emotionally exhausting, impactful, exciting, and painful.     No se cual su problema las personas pero este juego no esta tan mal, lo que no me gusto es que no esta en su totalidad su doblaje Argentina, pero bueno gran juego, gracias por hacerme llorar y que saquen una 3 parte no les haga caso a los que critiquen por molestar ustedes don grandes gracias por la segunda entrega.

    Bottom line is that this is one of the most amazing gaming experiences that I've ever had. The Proudboys and other incel groups had a coordinated review bombing campaign. This is the second wave of gamer-gate and it is disgusting to see. Maybe you won't like it, maybe you will. I loved it.

    It is a technical marvel, full of fluid animation, richly detailed worlds and the most fluid gameplay I’ve ever experienced. Combat scenarios are intense, open-ended and dynamic; enemies have a great variety and require various skillful tactics to defeat. Player freedom, from the settings to gameplay approach, is high. The soundtrack is top-notch, and music is masterfully deployed to match the mood of every scene. Excellent visuals, gameplay, sound and world design are only the start. There’s also some amazing blockbuster-level action set pieces and top-notch production values.

    What really matters, why I game, is for the experience. After lots of gaming, I admit I stopped caring about them for a while. Games just started to feel too familiar. This rekindled that fire a thousand times over, by making me feel every single emotion under the sun. Anger, horror, shock, loss, fear, joy, giddiness, disbelief, awe, sadness, excitement, every single thing. Over the 3 or so days I spent with this game, doing little else outside of sleeping and eating, I kept marveling at these emotions it was eliciting, the expansive and twisted and difficult storyline, the amazing characters, the brilliant way fully-realized characters were opposed to each other, the way the game made you do things that made your skin crawl. On the horror side, there were so so so many moments of intense adrenaline. On the storytelling side, I’ve rarely seen a story as moving and as difficult as this, explored in a way that only video games can realize. This is gaming as an artform, and Naughty Dog has secured my loyalty for life.

    In the interest of keeping this spoiler-free, I don’t wanna say much else, except buy this game. Play it with an open mind. It is dark and messy and **** and some parts will drain you, anger you, make you question a lot. Every aspect of it is working towards telling one of the most powerful experiential stories I have ever witnessed. As a software engineer by day, and writer by night, both parts of me feel elated to the highest level for having experienced this. Games of this quality rarely occur.. The Last of Us Part 2 is without equal, a generation-defining masterpiece, and my favorite game of all time.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think it's obvious by now that this game is not for everyone. For me, I think Naughty Dog knocked it out of the park yet again.
    First of all the graphics, the big set pieces and acting in the game are phenomenal, no one can deny it. I really enjoy the gameplay too (some people get burned out by it but that's what happens when you play like 17 hours at a time) the visceral combat is fantastic. But what I am really impressed by is the bold direction they took with the story and the way they structured it. By the end of the game I really grew fond of Abby even though she killed Joel, one of the most beloved video game characters. And even though Ellie's story breaks my heart because I care about her so much that's what I signed up for when I play a game like this. This is a bleak world and no other games leave me devastated by the end like The Last of Us does to the point I don't feel like playing anything else for a while.
    I don't know how people were expecting for ND to just make an exact copy to the first game, that was neved going to happen. Also Ellie is not that innocent girl anymore, deal with it, this is a perfect evolution of her story.

    Thank you Sony for continuing to give us these experiences , the best in entertainment. And to the people who work for this website, please make it a thing to verify the purchase when giving a score for a game because we get thousands of people who've never played the game    … Expand

    Personally I liked the game 80% of the way through, I feel like the leaks, expectations and love for the first game really hurt this game. People are struggling to be objective, I understand the frustrations with the story, but the gameplay is solid and in my opinion the story development is good.     Overall, I feel like the preconceived perception of this game and the love for the first one; coupled with some fair criticism, such as the length of Abby's part or the writing in some cases, are hurting what is in my opinion a good and solid gaming experience.    … Expand

Which I completely understand but to give it a zero rating is madness, it may not be for you but rating this as zero is either being salty or a review bomb. The games music, graphics and voice acting are second to none. The tone it sets is one of suspense and shocking awe. The environmental story telling elements are done with care and enhance the experience. The gameplay is similar to the first game but updated slightly. There is something so satisfying and visceral about the stealth take downs.

    I haven’t gone into story spoilers as going into this game having not seen the leaks meant the big moments hit like a freight train. I am not a particularly big last of us fan but this is a masterpiece and much like another favourite game of mine death stranding it’s not for everyone but it’s for me. It will boil down to how you like the story presented and for me I loved it.    … Expand

Naughty Dog has always rewarded our faith with their games. Except for this one. This game will either build you up to a better you, or make you hate Naughty dog for the rest of your life. Sometimes we get so attached with certain emotions that we lose sight of what's right and what's wrong. This is the game where you will feel wrong when you do the right things, and you will feel right, doing the wrong things. The game will make you question your morals and ethics with everything you go through in this game. With a near flawless gameplay mechanics , and breathtaking visuals you are about to experience something that you don't want to experience , but is necessary to experience as human beings. The Last of Us part 2, is an incredible game. However, as a Gamer I may never be able to forgive Naughty dog because of the mental breakdown they put me through, because of one thing which I can't mention because of spoiler purposes. But maybe one day, I'd like to try. My rating as a Gamer- 7/10

Not entirely perfect but pretty close. The deep themes of love and loss, vengeance, mental illness and struggles are obviously missed by a lot of people who don’t understand it. Put yourself in Ellie’s shoes and you’ll understand. The fact that people complained and thought Abby was trans because of her MUSCLES further proves my point of all the toxic fanboyism. Joel’s death was sad but a very important piece of the story that some people purely disliked because “oMg jOEl cOulDn’T diE LiKe tHiS eSpEciaLLy tO tHe hAnDs oF a gIrL”. It’s sad, no one wanted it. But guess what, life is full of pain and hurting, ups and downs, etc. But yeah. Buy it. Please… Expand

    Just finished it after 3 days ,my soul was stolen tonight,the beginning of the game is kinda slow but after the 4-5th hour it kicks you in the teeth ,the gameplay is 100 better than the first with many new additions ,story is unexpected,music great as usual- for me this is better even than red dead redemption 2

    Great game and definitely a great way to finish the story of the first game but I think they should have thought it through alot more than having to wait till mid way through the game to really understand what they were doing (playing as abbie) felt like a good thing but I felt like this went on for a couple of hours to long and wanted to spend more time in the past or watching Ellie but apart from switching between Ellie and Abbey it's was amazing and worked so well to tell a story from so many different peoples perspectives n    … Expand

    Definitely lives up to it's hype... Hard to compare it to the first game simply because of how iconic it was for it's time, but it's surely not a let down. Every review about the dark and gritty parts if it are true.. the story is heart-wrenching and everyone you kill, no matter how much you may believe they deserve it, just makes your stomach churn.its a shame to see that the game isDefinitely lives up to it's hype...     The hate for this game is nothing more than crybabies not liking who was killed off. The story is incredible and the visuals are the best a PS4 Pro can put out. This is a master class in game making and story telling. It's also ridiculous that 13,245 people reviewed the game and it hasn't even been out for 24 hrs.     I’ve been playing games for over 30 years, and this is quite literally one of the highest quality experiences I’ve ever had with the medium. Every bit as well crafted as it’s predecessor if not more so. I love that the narative pushes so many boundaries. And I’m glad to see that development wasn’t swayed by the oppressive ideologies that seem to be implicit in these user reviews.

    It’s lit. I got a hammer stuck in some guys face, the dogs you kill have names and in all seriousness the game is absolutely incredible. Please don’t believe the review bombs of ignorant people who haven’t played a frame of the game.

    The game itself is wonderful, I loved the gameplay, and graphics, and about the story, I'd say it could have a better ending but I still love it. My real rating for this game is 9.5.

While there are some issues with game mechanics that I wish could be altered it does not detract majorly from the game experience. The game is not perfect, but it is not only playable but enjoyable.     I don't understand what is being done in this section. The last of us part 2 is a delight made video game. We can criticize any aspect like the graphics, the gameplay, the mechanics ... But put a zero for ideological issues? I can not believe it.

    Since Friday I can’t tear myself away from the gameplay. Sitting at work, I dream of getting home as soon as possible and turning on ps4. It is unfortunate that users of other platforms on which the game did not work out break the rating of such a game. Bravo, developers!

    This was honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played. From the presentation to the acting to sound design to the tense encounters. I loved every minute of it and I’m about to play it again.

    It too bad this game had gotten such poor user ratings, this game is fantastic. I played the game all the way to the end on survivor difficulty it was very challenging and fun. The story is dark and immersive. My only complaint is the last of trophy’s and no trophy’s for separate difficulties. Achei o jogo ótimo, uns dos melhores dessa geração se não for o melhor, eu joguei e zerei ele no dia do lançamento, tive 23 horas de jogo, e não tive nenhum problema com bugs ou repetição de inimigos, e eu gostei da história, tem algumas falhas, como a de a gente não jogar com o Joel ou a de matarem o Jesse sem explorar o personagem. Mas tirando isso eu acho que o jogo em geral é muito bom, a trilha sonora, gráficos, imersão, enredo histórico, tudo foi ótimo nesse jogo, chegou perto da perfeição esse jogo, ele realmente é uma obra prima, igual o seu antecessor.… Expand

    Eu joguei o jogo, tenho mais de 30 horas e achei a história sensacional e muito boa.Não entendi o porquê de tanto ódio por um jogo que parece um filme de tão bem feito; personagens super bem feitos e desenvolvidos.Um jogo tão bom assim não devia ter tanto ódio assim...

    I played quite a bit and probably I can’t fully describe what I saw, but from the very beginning there was no doubt that Naughty Dog would get a game that deserves praise from those who appreciate their work.

    It has been 7 years of waiting and it was worth it. It is a masterpiece with all the beautiful details and experiences that just stay in you. Everything about it perfect. Surely many won't be able to deal with its realistic aspects but then they should play a different genre and not a survival action game.
