    This "Game" has nothing to do with the first one. It's just a Very bad Game, the storytelling is trash, the gameplay nothing new, crafting is from 2000, (graphics are good, that's why it's 1 not a 0) and the worst of all that you need to suffer through all this while playing a steroid pumped gorilla that's not even close to look like a women

The whole plot doesn’t make any sense because the characters from tlou1 are out of characters. It’s okay that our beloved character is dead but can’t it be a better situation? And don’t even start with the long play time with the unexpected character Abby. Last but not least, why the fuxk would the game director keep blaming all the gamers that are complaining and not trying to understand where the rages are coming from? Never buying any naughty dog game unless some action would be taken like kicking that stupid director out of the company.… Expand

    The story honestly seemed pretty hollow and unimpactful. There was a lot of gore and gruesomeness, but it didn't equate to you getting much more out of it than shock value. I really think that they could have done more with this game, but in the end this definitely was falling short of expectations for a follow up to the first game. Lots of filler that just made the game pointlessly drag out.

    I give it a 4 for fantastic graphics, truly revolutionary and lovable, but this story has to be one of the biggest disasters of the year. I have no idea how Naughty Dog thought it was a good idea.

    I will make this short. I played this game for 16 hours and I stopped playing it and don't tell me you have to finish it, I've seen enough. then, I gave this game to my friend and he played it for 3 hours and he gave it back and said: I do not want to play this game anymore.
    ps: we were hyped about this game and we avoided all the leaks.

    After playing the game, I felt the story was terrible and the amount of story plot holes is horrendous. I will commend naughty dog on the visuals, the game looks beautiful and the gameplay is better than the first game. However I play the last of us for its story telling and the way they tried to subvert your expectations didn’t work well.     I am honestly so disappointed. What is the point on having two of the most beloved videogames characters and a great story (TLOU) just to disgrace them like this for pure shock value?

    I get it, violence is bad, that world is messed up, there is no hope...     Well. I would say combat of this game is good, really good but nothing more. Story is awful while it is a story-based game, not Call of Duty. Characters are bad and soulless. Puzzles were bad in first game(if we can call them puzzles), it is still same. Saving bucks is the best option.

The original was loved due to its originality and beautifully crafted and unfolding narrative, and right from the beginning we were hooked and at the end we were left speechless and were in awe.

    The last of us part 2 has an improvement in gameplay and difficulty settings and that’s where it all unfortunately abruptly comes to a curtain close. This story is just the root cause of depression, and if you suffer from mental issues please stay away. Various trailers of the game depicted beloved Joel and Ellie being a pivotal part of this game, but that obviously was naughty dog playing on our emotions with a character called Abby lurking in the shadows. Bringing in forceful woke political ideologies such as LGBTQ+, feminism into a game set in a post apocalyptic world just makes absolutely no sense, even if the game is trying to be bold, accepting and forward moving. In a game where surviving and reproducing is the whole point, this simply just doesn’t work, specially in a beloved franchise like this. The game is a tedious, upsetting, draining 26 hour revenge quest fuelled by hate and violence in which the protagonist just lets Abby the antagonist go away freely and unharmed. That’s like batman killing hundreds of people getting to the antagonist and simply letting the person who killed his parents go away unscathed. GET IN THE BIN!
    I personally will never buy a Neil Druckman game again and I honestly hope the fanboys wake up and do the same instead of giving this disrespectful and insulting company your hard earned money. They just aren’t the same anymore. Cyberpunk 2077 for GOTY!

Technologically advanced, but the most important factor, the story, did not take center stage. The biggest problem is that making abby as playable character. Perhaps the producer induced Abby to understand her revenge more by playing it ourselves, but I would say it was a big mistake. The most important thing when we understand others is the position of a third party. This is where altruism works because humans can never be anyone else. However, when he is busy cursing the character who killed the main character of previous and the representative character of this franchise, which user would be able to understand? If only they had made Ellie playable and showed Abby's story only through video, there might have been users who understood even a little bit. During the game, when the transition from Elly to Abby was made, the level of immersion in the game dropped sharply.This eventually faded the subject of vengeance that Naughtydog pursued.The second problem is of course the killing of Joel.     Graphics... That's the only good thing about this. Everything else is either mediocre or down right awful. The game play did not evolve one bit since 2013. It's still a walking simulator that's more a movie than a game, which would be enjoyable if it had a good story but God damn is it bad. The story simply broke my heart and not in the good way. It's like a spit in the face of the entire fan base. It's like the worst fan fiction you could possibly find. Seriously? This is what you came up after 7 years? Did Twitter write this game? It's full of plot holes and the characters you fell in love with in the first game are completely ruined and you are forced to play with the character that ruined them. I don't mind the woke stuff but when so much of it is obviously forced down your throat it feels like the entire game was built around it so if people don't like it you can pull the victim card and say that they are ists and phobes and whatever. And the director to preach so much about sexualising women in games is bad only than to put that Abby scene in the game? I can't unsee that. WTF were you thinking? I'd rather watch 2 girls one cup on repeat while eating. Let me tell you a little secret western game devs. People are playing games for entertainment and they'd rather see pretty things while doing it than ugl.. excuse me FUGLY ones! This is never going to change. How is sexualising men was never an issue? People don't like to be preached to and to be told what to think. In a video game setting, that choice should be always ours.

    The 'gameplay' is so few and far between that when the cutscenes are taken out of a 15 hour game you're perhaps left with around half of that as gameplay, when I mean gameplay around half of my time was spent walking or running between 'zones' there's no focus on exploration at all and is in many ways even more linear than the original. The downtime between gameplay is astoundingly obnoxious. When theres actual gameplay its refreshing to be met with a fresher take on the originals combat and I enjoyed the lethality it represented. Ignore fake 10 review scores and masterpiece buzzwords, don't be a corporate sympathiser. The criticism leading up to the game is wholeheartedly justified. Reviewers that gave this game a perfect score have now handed in their credibility as reviewers and should no longer be taken seriously. This is false advertising and its now clear that they were paid off. Nobody that respects the original would rate this game perfect especially over the dozen reviewers that rated it perfect for a flash of their name on the posters especially when the story is so controversial, its impossible to rate them all the same. Metacritic are also losing credibility to support a platform for reviewing.    … Expand

A história do jogo é muito incoerente em algumas partes, como assim? Bem, uma hora tem algo do passado, outra tem algo do presente, aí tem algo do futuro, aí tem as duas personagens principais também e isso deixa o jogo com uma história cansativa, a Naughty Dog deveria ter feito o seguinte, ter dividido as duas histórias e seguir diante com elas. O gráfico tá muito bom, mas não falo que é impressionante, porque me lembrou de Unchato 4. A gameplay está bem melhor que a do primeiro jogo (MORTE AOS CACHORROS DA WLF), houve uma grande melhora na IA dos inimigos, mas não quer dizer que tem algumas partes do jogo que estão bugadas pra *******. Lets utilize FALSE ADVERTISING to trick and steal money from people who were so excited for the continuation of ellie and Joel. I'm angry, at the trickery. I'm angry at the failure to gain depths beyond these paper thin filler characters. The retcon of abbie. Terrible terrible terrible. I do not care about graphics and game-play. graphics are fantastic. Game-play, meh. ever play the first? there you go. The accessibility options are phenomenal. The story is utter hot garbage. Not even close to being enjoyable. I don't need to have fun to play a game, but i damn sure need enjoyment from the product. This was a failure, and it is the last time i ever support naughty dog. Let me be clear, I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONES GENDER OR SEXUALITY. Ellie became an idiot in her choices based around joel and a few others but never due to her sexuality or gender. Joel became a fool, because plot demanded it. Abbie is a terribly written, horribly implemented retcon that deserves every intentional death she is put through. I don't care about lev. Oh your trans. Ok. good for you. I still don't care about you, you are paper thin and getting on my nerves. NOT because you are trans, but because you are a terribly written character. This game could have used these elements in the story for a fascinating heart wrenching tale that was masterfully woven. Instead Neil Drukman took a big fat dump and titled it, the last of us part 2. This game is a zero for me, but i give it 2 points, 1 for accessibility, one for graphics. Everything else can ESOD. Let me also clarify, i always turn music off in games, and i cannot stand when it is force implemented. it robs a game of immersion IMO. That applies to me. The musical score is terrible, i do not enjoy it. That is due to my musical taste. That is not to say that it is not composed well or by a talented musician. I find it to also be hot garbage. Therefore let it be known, my review does not reflect it in score, i give it a complete pass over as unfavorable as it does not apply to my style of gaming. It aggravates and agitates me causing me to lose interest even further when forced. You may enjoy it. I do not.

    TLDR: Neil Drukman has the tummy rumblies and shoots a steaming pile all over the fans of TLOU with a terribly written dumpster fire that is TLOU PART 2, and not because of gender politics or agenda, while it is there, that is not the reason this game is terrible, the writing is.    … Expand

    I do not understand how can a studio ruin such a beloved set of characters. I won't go into details regarding the story due to spoilers but... wow.

    Also, the gameplay is the same as the first game without adding to it. So when I consider the value of the game I focus a lot on the story and that, I really hated.

    Good graphics though... for whatever that's worth.

This is truly the last of this franchise. cant even go back to the original, complete missed opportunity and way to destroy a franchise, joins the **** with Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, Terminator, time to get the gasoline out and roast some marsh mellows.
