This game is just the same as the first Battlefront. And EA tries to sell it at An even higher price leeching on the money of the gamer. I'm sick of this. EA never listens and messes up games. I'll go for a refund yes please!

The game is not free, why i must pay extra € for content?

Поставил игре 0/10 в надежде, что ЕА обосравшись на SW BF2, пересмотрит свою политику по выпуску p2w, и в следующую battlefield эту систему не прикрутит.

The pay-to-win progression model is a shame and has no place in a 60$ "full" game. With these shenanigans, EA is without doubt one of the worst company in America and in the world. Loot boxes should be legally forbidden. If this kind of eco system continues to exist, companies like EA won't stop to treat gamers as fools.

Dont believe its pay to win, go watch Xfactor gaming youtube videos for an example of how this game is obviously pay to win.

The EA suckboys/girls who have given this game 10's are just quislings or have massive wallets and want to pay to dominate

Don't support this game!!!!! I really wanted to like this game, but EA have ruined it with their exploitative and parasitic practices and I will avoid it at all costs and

This game sucks. It is really sad because the gameplay is really fun, but EA has to ruin the game with pay-to-win and credits, and a ton of other things. End this liscensing deal with EA away

This score is not just an irrational tantrum. This score it means this franchise needs another developer and another publisher. Once again, Battlefront deserves a better developer and most importantly, a more ethic publisher. Expand

Pay2Win is an absolute deal killer for me no matter how small the microtransaction. I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to this release for awhile. Definitely will not waste my money or time encouraging this sort of gaming design. It's nauseating.

We all wanted Battlefront 3. We all loved conquest mode, we loved the 200v200 battles or more vs the CPU and with friends. WE LOVED THE "WE ARE TAKING THE COMMAND POST". But no, who really believes they did any research if they took all we loved out? Just to put it in the third game they will produce when the next starwars film comes out. Then they will say again they "heard" what we were asking for. **** Listen now and give us a modernized version of the 2005 game. Not a pay to win game for over 60€ with MACROtransactions that go to 100€ for RNG boxes. Lootboxes should never have gameplay things but like overwatch, only visuals and customization.
I'm too angry and losing myself here. Just summarize with EA being a company that just wants your money and hides their hand grabbing your wallet with those good graphics and huge advertisement campaigns to attract all those less informed or more innocent. Stop this EA. Hope this game fails. Doing the same with FIFA. Every year the same game just changing the players from teams. What you could do with a simple update. The gameplay changes, also with a simple update or 20€ DLC.
I decided not to touch an EA game ever again and try to spread the word of how they are destroying the industry. Thank you for reading my rant.

I don't know why I didn't expect this when EA said "no playable DLCs". They've done it a hundred times and I still fell for it, but it's of course my fault. The game looks awesome, I won't deny it. The gameplay is probably better than the previous Battlefront. But the fact that you have to pay 4500 hours to unlock all of the content is simply ridiculous. But hey, remember you can pay to advance faster! While this system works great for free to play games, it's absurd that, after paying 60€ for a game, you have to pay more if you want to try all of its content. I'd rather have paid DLCs and a season pass, I swear.
Then the single player is fun, but only 5 hours long. For any fellow Empire lovers, don't buy it to play as the Empire, because you barely get to kill rebel scum. Also it doesn't have galactic conquest or anything so the single player is really limited.

All progression in this game is intrinsically intertwined with microtransactions and lootboxes - essentially legalized gambling marketed at kids. Currently the system requires over $2000 (or over 4000 hours of time) and you still would not unlock everything in this game. It's a $60 mobile game. Do not buy.

The only voice the consumer has in this scenario is reviews, and it is time our voices are heard. We want single-player campaigns. We want to play games, not "license entertainment experiences".

Spoiler: Loot crates aren't gambling because you don't win anything; any contents are subject to deletion or change at the whim of EA.

First of all NO, the crate are not needed. Second of all, if they were going to use lootcrates they should have made them cosmetics only, NO ONE likes a pay to progress faster model in their full prices game. Lastly this game looked pretty good, but considering a large portion of it is multiplayer, which is ruined by the current system i can't give this game a good score. As a university student, I cant earn any character unless I spend a month for each character. I can play 2 hours a night most nights.

One dev quoted on the Reddit AMA that a user gets 20% of their battlepoints as credits at the end of the game. I got over 7000 points to get 400 credits, nowhere near 20% and certainly nowhere near enough to even consider getting a star card to help me compete.

This is extremely unfortunate. I was really looking forward to this game - however the microtransactions and the hardheadedness of the developers and publishers have officially ruined what could have been an amazing game. The Reddit AMA today was absolute garbage and failed to respond or acknowledge any obvious wrong doing by EA or DICE. Truly unfortunate. GG EA, GG DICE.

I have never seen such greed from a game company! EA copied a free to play mobile progression technique, but makes it so much worse because they charge you the price of a full game. The beta was great and this will go down as a even bigger failure than For Honor.

Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
