Awfull p2w system. Annoying progress methods. Thanks God free DLCs, but I shure theu are already finished & just waiting for usefull moment to being released. Evena good gamedesign & bearable gameplay wont save the publishers souls. Change ue mind EA. Before its too late.

After listening to EA’s response after much deliberation I took their advice to heart, and I have realized that I have gained a sense of pride and accomplishment by giving this game a 0.

Congratulations on completely **** up what could have been, or come close to being game of the year EA. Corporate greed has pulled the AAA companies in this industry away from developing games with a passion for the artful medium of entertainment they're supposed to be and replaced them with simple money generators. I hope you have a sense of pride and accomplishment releasing this load of trash to your customers.

Just a clarification too, the game itself is **** incredible. Genuinely near on par with the 2005 Battlefront 2. If( and a big IF) the game's progression system is moved away from a system based entirely on gambling (and essentially legal hacking), then I'd absolutely rate this a perfect 10/10. As is though, I wouldn't recommend this **** in a million years.

This is not a game. It's a microtransaction storefront wrapped in pretty Star Wars graphics. Do not buy this $60 trash or support EA's unethical exploitation.

You're better off buying a WinRAR license than buying this game. If you buy this game, you're only contributing to EA's plan on destroying the gaming industry.

Pay2Win is an absolute deal killer for me no matter how small the microtransaction. I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to this release for awhile.

A game so well crafted, beautiful to look at and fun to play, yet it is totally ruined by EAs disgusting and manipulative money grabbing schemes. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Show EA that we will not stand by while they ruin gaming more and more. Because if we don’t do this now and accept it, it will only get worse.

EA does it again. Screwing over gamers and ruining the gaming industry for years now EA has shown they only care about sharholders and money.

SW:BF 2 is no exception, P2W ( pay 2 win ), Lootbox gambling to seduce kids in gambling habits.. yes content gated behind paywalls and ridicules grinds and all for a full blown priced game. Further more the single player is absolute **** Don't

This is getting out of hand. Unlockables should be available based on the gameplay, not on the amount money investment. This is only extended hand of mobile ( ehm cancer) gaming.
After one positive exception (Titanfall 2), EA is on downwards spiral and they deserve nothing more than being boycotted. Shame on you EA. Maybe we need another crash of industry.

It's a Pay-To-Win mobile game, for consoles and PC.

Daily cooldown on rewards for game modes.
    **** formulaic campaign.
    Pay-To-Win multiplayer.

Do yourself a favor, do literally anything else with your money.

If you want to eventually get a decent Star Wars game, contact Disney and let them know what you think of EA and what they're doing to the Star Wars brand.

Disney's biggest mistake was giving their most valuable franchise to a company like EA.

If they keep releasing games like this, Starwars is gonna lose its popularity amongst teenagers. No one is gonna buy a Starwars game with a half-ass campaign + a messed up multiplayer made by greedy executives.

This game has a lot of potential, but it's ruined by a pay to progress unlock system. It's a shame because I was actually really looking forward to this game. Characters and class progression past base game items are locked behind pay walls or unreasonably long in game grinds.

Parents who are considering buying this game for your kids: Don't. It has what is essentially an in game

Parents who are considering buying this game for your kids: Don't. It has what is essentially an in game gambling system modeled after slot machines and should be rated AO. The game forces you to pay for in game tokens with real money to then buy "loot boxes." These "loot boxes" then randomly drop in game weapons or abilities. The game is designed in such a way that it is impossible to progress without gambling on these boxes.

No reason you should spend money on a game in which you need to spend more money. Yes, I know, you don't "need" to, but for all practical purposes of enjoying every feature in this game, you do.

It's honestly impressive how EA can take amazing titles such as Mass Effect and Star Wars and absolutely butcher them. This game is a $60 PC/console game with the quality of a free mobile game. This game is garbage do not buy.

If this is the gaming world EA wants to continue down. I don't want any part of it.

Game is littered with ridiculously long if not impossible progression systems, but hey you can bypass that for the low time fee of $2100 to unlock all content.

Send a message. Don't buy the game. give it a bad rating.

Lootboxes are okay only on a pay-to-win free-to-play game. But it is an AAA title, and it cost 60/80 bucks. That's not okay. EA is killing this franchise.

Im a massive star wars fan and will be suckered into watching all the new movies and playing all the games. Simply because im a fanboy. That being said EA has ripped off the community and taken advantage of the fans love for star wars by forcing micro transactions down their throat. Oh want to play darth vader? better pay 100$ or grind to the end of times.

EA is officially the worst company.

All progression in this game is made by opening lootboxes what you get by playing: you get perks, skills, weapon and other cool stuff from them. The problem is what it's very hard to get them without microtransactions, and if you buy them, you have a big advantage over some guy who wants to play without spending additional money.

It is a P2W system, and it's sad for me what it ruined the game i waited.

This is gaming in 2017. Buy a AAA game for full price and deal with f2p cash shop that has 100% pay to win things in it. Thx but i am out. Not with me EA. And i am sorry that DICE has to deal with that s***storm now. Stop bashing DICE pls. This mechanics all come from those EA wannabe gamers.

The only way EA will listen is by voting with your wallet. EA will change if it means more profit. They need to learn that making good games is the best way to make money not micro transactions and abusing fans of Star Wars.

The game is great, gameplaywise and graphics are great.

But lootboxes in $60 game, which require about $2000 to unlock everything or over 150 DAYS of play time is BS.
Even worse is the fact that those lootboxes contain stuff that make you better, like 25% better turning on space ships and higher damage.

Don't buy this game to send a message to EA.

Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
