Nov 16, 2017Dont let EA fool you just yet!, their new tweet means nothing considering the following:
Quote: "the ability to purchase Crystals in-game will become available at a later date" meaning its not gonna be removed at all just modified into something else... KEEP THE FIGHT GOING.
defend your rights as gamers, consumers and most of all STAR WARS FANS. -
Nov 16, 2017Hey EA, just learned you removed the micro transactions from BF2. Don't care, hope this game suffers cause you thought that was okay to begin with. If this is in the next battlefield game the same response will happen.

Nov 16, 2017The pay to win in this game is disgusting. We have to let them know, this is unacceptable. We let them know time and time again when these details were released and they refused to do anything about it. They are the most downvoted comment on reddit, and a joke among gamers.
-
Nov 16, 2017A full priced game, broken unless you buy lootboxes. It makes me absolutely sick at the greed of the industry. Trying to pay to get the full game would cost $2100. It's disgusting.

Nov 16, 2017You know why EA. Pay to win does not belong in gaming. Your business model is that of pure greed. NO ONE should buy this game. DO NOT support this behavior.
-
Nov 16, 2017Like an ill-fated case of hemorrhoids, microtransactions have rubbed raw the anus of the gaming community. With EA's gangrenous, malformed hand as its guide, Battlefront II is a red hot iron defiling that already inflamed anus.
-
Nov 16, 2017They changed the pay2win system but job is done they lost over 100000 people and I think most of them will come at Christmas sales but ruined the game start.
-

Nov 16, 2017salut depuis paris France allez on va place une sale note EA qui a tendance de prendre ce client pour des idiot.
Pay2Win NON. il en a mare d'être la vache a lait des multi. -

Nov 16, 2017Absolute garbage. Remember when Star Wars games were some of the best around, like Rogue Squadron, Jedi Outcast/Academy, KOTOR? Now they're just **** cash cows for the worst company in America. Thanks for ruining my favorite series EA.
-
Nov 16, 2017Played the game through a friend...had pre ordered the regular edition...cancelled after visiting reddit battlefront. BS ass pay to win. No thanks. **** EA
-
Nov 16, 2017Lootcrates are form of gambling. Sometimes you win what you want and sometimes you don't win what you want. That's gambling isn't it. EA wants us to gamble to win in Battlefront 2
-
Nov 16, 2017The very embodiment of Pay to win itself. EA has truly suffered from this game - not only will features be locked behind a paywall, but we also won't be falling into the trap of paying for them.
I hope you're happy. EA - it's in the Pay. -

-
Nov 16, 2017The only "sense of accomplishment" Battlefront fans will get from this game is in the form of pride in the **** they've created against one of the worst implementations of micro transactions in a AAA, full price game ever. As consumers an a capitalistic society it is everyone's duty not to support devs who ruin the games we love for profit.
-
Nov 16, 2017esto no puede seguir sucediendo las microtransacciones destruirán el hobby que más amamos, y como jugadores estámos unidos frente al abuso de las compañías como EA - 2K por solo mencionar unas pocas. ABAJO EA!
-

-
Nov 16, 2017EA seems determined to destroy all games and franchises with their greedy corporate practices. Gamers are happy to give them their hard earned money if they just give them what they want. Unfortunately while we still have morons out there pre-ordering games I am not sure this will change. If you pre-order games please take a good long hard look at yourself.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game is everything that i hate about EA. KIlling games with good mechanic with Pay-to-win model and Microtransactions.
If Luke was real. He would jump off a building if he sees what EA done with this franchise.
If Vader was real. He would jump in the lava again.
If Yoda was real. He would say "these **** are nuts if they think i'd pre-orders this pile of **** -
Nov 16, 2017Lootboxes are gambling.
The developers said in a reddit AMA that getting currency through the single player Arcade version is manipulative but buying currency is ok.
Paying for power is what loot boxes in this game are.
That is the definition of pay to win. -
Nov 16, 2017Locking tons of content behind a grindy paywall is something you would expect from a scummy free to play game, not a $60 AAA experience. EA's greed has killed a better than average game.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game is an insult to modern gaming and promises. The game has promise, and at times is fun, however, a micro transactions are disgusting. To unlock iconic characters such as Darth Vader, you must pay a hefty price, or grind for many hours. I am disgusted by EA and their gambling system.
-

-
Nov 16, 2017It's a shame that we waited so long for a game that is a shell of the original. It's a pay to win Mobil game that is being sold as a full price game.
It either takes thousands of hours or thousands of dollars to unlock the most useful items.
Maybe someday we will get a proper battlefront 2, but it's not this current game. -
Nov 16, 2017Pay2Win can kiss my @ss. This would be an amazing game if the publishers didn't push features like lootboxes. The lootbox system in this game is literal gambling. So if EA and Disney want to connect Star Wars titles to gambling, that's their decision but its a decision that sucks.
-
Nov 16, 2017The game isn't actually a 2/10 it's more like a 7-8 but we as a community cannot let developers treat us like this. I have always been against micro-transactions and i was looking forward to this game, but after seeing the way they implemented the microtransactions i cannot in good faith recommend this game
-
Nov 16, 2017Terrible game designed entirely to syphon money out of players. A blatant abuse of an iconic brand name to milk people for cash. Whata sad situation the gaming induindustry is in righ Now
-
Nov 16, 2017I am just gonna sit this one out... I am not going to pay 60 dollars for a game that have loot crates tied into the progression. I am so mad, I rather start playing Call of Duty.
-

Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017I enjoy parts of this game, and I really feel for the devs and what they created, but the loot box micro transaction system must be protested. A crying shame.
-
Nov 16, 2017EA is the most evil money grubbing game company in the market that ruins everything they touch, including this game which would otherwise be great. Thanks EA. Thanks for ruining the hard work of the developers who spent sleepless nights making this polished game to turn it into complete corporate money grubbing ****

Nov 16, 2017Needless to say anithing. This company must fall.
They've become too greedy they just look at gamers like cows to milk. Never ever EA! :@
They even disabled the refound option. -
Nov 16, 2017EA comes out as excessively greedy with this game that is entirely based on pay2win mechanism
This is the kind of thing one see on cheap apps on Apple Store, not what you'd expect from a premium game. -
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017I absolutely reject the idea of microtransactions for anything on paid games (even more if they're games prices +$50 and the microtransactions are not only for cosmetic items).
Buying - or not refunding - this legitimates the foreseeable future of gaming. Pay for the game, pay again to play it. -
Nov 16, 2017Disgusting business practices by EA and DICE that the gaming community cannot accept. Why in the world is anyone accepting paying $60 USD or higher to buy into a game setup in the same way as F2P mobile titles is beyond me. If you think i'm being melodramatic go and find the screenshots of FOURTEEN HOUR WAIT TIMERS to earn in-game currency if you don't pay.
-
Nov 16, 2017o.8 heh? Cant wait to see where user reviews stand when the PC voting opens up. With any luck, equal to or lower so as to show EA where they can stick their corporate scummery.
I so wanted to like this game, but this StarWars horse broke it's legs before it was even out of the gate.
Please show some resolve and conviction and do gaming's future a favour, boycott EA games. -
Nov 16, 2017Lootboxes at their worst, yet typical for EA. They could have worked out a better way to get extra money from the game, so the people who already paid full price would not feel forced to pay possibly thousands of dollars (no joke, unlocking everything costs over a thousand dollars). It's starting to fire back on them, as they deserve.
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017Yes, this is just another hate review. I won't buy this game and I am sure EA won't mind at all this bad buzz for the game as long as it sells but this is a way to making us be heard. I'm doing my part
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017Star Wars Battlefront 2 was better on older consoles likes ps2 and original xbox. Don't buy this game don't support EA unless you want pay to win mechanics in all of your games
-
Nov 16, 2017Would have been a pretty good game if it weren't for the damn microtransactions forcing you to pay to access **** that you PAID for when you bought the game!
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017EA should focus on making a good game and letting it sell as it deserves, instead of limiting the game to get more money. I refused to buy another EA game with these current practices.
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017Unplayable from a single player/offline perspective due to corporate/beuracratic greed. Please do not support this unacceptable behavior, or this will continue in the future.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game leverages one of the most abusive micotransaction systems ever conceived for a AAA release. EA should be ashamed. Only by sending EA a clear and united message can we make them understand that this is unacceptable and we will not stand for it.
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017The only good thing about this game is that it's put the gambling-like nature of buying loot boxes in games out in the zeitgeist. People completely unrelated to this game know about and holding it up as an example of corporate greed preying on consumers.
-
Nov 16, 2017I discovered microtransactions in Star Wars: Battlefront II and the controversy has blown up in EA's face. I will not spend a dime on loot boxes after paying $60 for the game. They are preying on young children too. Let's boycott the game as users until this goes away.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game contains loot boxes in order to better exploit customer who have already paid full price for the game as well as the season pass. Do not buy this game under any circumstances.
-
Nov 16, 2017pay to win muy bonito pero ahí se queda ea la caga y no deja de cagarla

Nov 16, 2017Gets 1 star because the game is playable and that alone is always worth a star.
Buy the game and then pay more so I can win easier? heck no, to heck with EA never again. -
Nov 16, 2017EA's Greed has brought this game to shame. Such a waste of the Star Wars License. Lootboxes and Micro-transactions should be banned indefinitely, ruined this game and exposing children to GAMBLING.
-

Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017I paid $60 for this "Star Wars" game and I can't even play as Darth Vader until I play for dozens of hours or pay even more money? Ridiculous EA, destroying pop culture.

Nov 16, 2017If People want this greedy behaviour to stop, than they have to stop buy their **** EA or Activision will never listen to reason, only to Numbers.
EA´s message to Gamers with BF2 : "F*ck you give us more Money" -
Nov 16, 2017I've spent about 10 - 11 hours playing the multiplayer game and really enjoyed it allot. The graphics look great (PS4) and the game play kept me interested for a few hours at a time. This is a much more in depth game than the previous Battlefront. Not going to get into the loot boxes at this time.
-
Nov 16, 2017I spent $80 for a star gambling simulator where kids can be better than me not because of skill but because of luck or because they sunk some money in the game. Refunded immediately, will not be coming back until there is a loot crate overhaul.
-
Nov 16, 2017This is the new Cancer that plagues video games and if we can we must stop it. This is their version of the future, this is not ours. Arise and fight!!
-
Nov 16, 2017Microtransactions, lootboxes, bugs, pay-to-win, fee-to-pay, grinding, loot crates, star cards, DRM, terrible usage of the license that they have exclusive rights to because they paid more, EA.
-
Nov 16, 2017ЕА в край поехали, продавать pay2win варфейс за 60 баксов это слишком. Не поддерживайте такую наглость, качайте пиратку и играйте себе в удовольствие.
-
Nov 16, 2017Hasta las narices de los micropagos. Dejen devestafar a la gente. Vaya negocio. Ya estamos hartos. Aparte, espero que el juego sea mejor que la beta. Hasta que no baje de precio, qur no me esperen
-
Nov 16, 2017An utter blight upon the gaming landscape. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is an unfinished game full of experience ruining bugs and awful micro transactions.
-
-
Nov 16, 2017Disgusting. You cant just buy a game and get to enjoy it anymore. Now you buy a game and it comes with all the microtransactions you could dream of. These massive companies **** us for every nickle and dime we have. We need to stop supporting this type of payment model from piece of **** companies like EA.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game is a joke. Zero sense of fair progression. Every aspect of the game is design to milk retarded people. Please do not support this!! EA, you will pay for this!
-
Nov 16, 2017Rip off $60 entry fee so that you can be frustrated and made to shell out another $40-$100 to enjoy the barebones games. Boycott these greedy publishers.
-
Nov 16, 2017What might be the most disrespectful move towards gaming fans ever.
It's a game you should avoid at all cost if you have respect for the artform that is a Video Game. -
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017Don't you dare to buy this disgusting cash grab. All progress turned into grindfest to force you to buy loot boxes. Buying this game you make every new game will look like mobile clicker when the point is not the design, interesting story, but building a system which all the time for buying just one more box to the point when your bank account will be exact 0.
-
Nov 16, 2017Do not buy this game, absurd level of greed from EA. Monthly subscription would make more sense than this hoax way of sucking money. 60eur for game and then payed lootboxes with chance of drop for items that affect gameplay, could they make it cosmetics as it made in Overwatch? They even fail to copy successful monetization model... what a bunch of dumb greedy loosers...
-
Nov 16, 2017Absolutely disgusting business practice from one of the most horribly disgusting companies ever. all reviews for game highlighting that you can just ignore the micro transactions miss the blatant that IT SHOULD NOT BE IN THE GAME FROM THE START.

-
Nov 16, 2017this game it so bad this my first review i ever posted in my life. this game is the great example where we going in gaming if continue buy this cash and grab. the story is okay but all the is made to make you buy crates. It feel like im playing mobile game and is not good for game that cost $60.
-
Nov 16, 2017
-
Nov 16, 2017The game is a disgrace, no way this is worth 60 bucks.. The game play is boring, it's all the same. There is no innovation in the game and you have to buy lootboxes to be able to be compete. Horrible do not buy!!
-
Nov 16, 2017What everyone else has already said, avoid this game at all costs. The developers have made their intentions clear that they have no interest in making a quality product and instead are trying to charge as much as possible out of their customers. In addition, some of the content, cinematic, and story shown off in the trailers is not actually in the game.
-
Nov 16, 2017This is a special case in gaming. A line has been drawn. This game has gone too far. If a game with so many free-to-play elements can charge this much (while also including pay-to-win microtransactions) - and if we accept this, then we set a precedent that changes the medium of gaming forever. I truly wish I was exaggerating.
-
Nov 16, 2017no puedo creer que hobby consolas le diera 91 WTF,Por otro lado si me dan a describir el juego con una palabra seria [injusticia] nada mas que decir...
-
Nov 16, 2017This game will give you AIDS. herpes, cancer and impotence and/or sterility.
In addition to be ripped off if you want to play competitively in MP.
On a more serious note, the loot box mechanism is probably illegal in many countries, specially since it is made to take advantage of younger audience and minors.
Don't support ugly business practices, don't buy. -
Nov 16, 2017Why do we even pay for games like this anymore? with this kind of microtransactions they should make it free and pay-to-win, it´s actually not that hard to unlock good stuff doing things right, but the issue is that suggesting to jump over all the gameplay by paying its not right, moreover the game is not finished, has a lot to work off
-

-
Nov 16, 2017Tu y tus micro pagos se pueden ir a la mierda, espero que esta esta tendencia cambie tan que se están cargando la industria, se preocupan más de idear formas nuevas de micro pagos que en el desarrollo del juego.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018Excellent online action offers hours of Stormtooper-shooting fun, but the so-so campaign stumbles, while cynical loot crates leave a sour taste. [Jan 2017, p.83]
-
Jan 21, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
-
Dec 29, 2017Although game has huge problems with p2w microtransactions, it is still a good and fun gameplay experience with stunning visuals.
