    Simply put one of the greatest games I have ever played. Loved every minute. Gameplay is so fluent and has a great pace, boss fights are just amazing and will get your palms sweating.

    Very good game I love the way that you actually do sword fight with strong bosses that can block and parry you're attacks and they all have something unique to them with special move that go alongside with using the sword. And then there MONKE which the first phase of it was hard because he was not using a sword compared to his second phase which was much easier because he was.     Was never a fan of souls-like games, but this game is just clicked for me and it's a masterpiece. Bosses are difficult yet enjoyable and very rarely do I feel like a boss is simply unbeatable because I don't have the right-build or items. It was entirely skill based.

    So rewarding, it's the feeling you'll get from this game after you face your wall of enemies you thought you couldn't beat, from mobs, to mini-bosses up to bosses... and just when you thought you are the Sekiro God, they throw you the final boss to wipe your @ss for you clean!!! Hands down one of the best final bosses ever made, glad i picked it up after sleeping on it for years.

    Combat, stealth, exploration, story, everything you do is connected and meaningful. Sekiro rewards your time, both in-game and honing your personal skill.

    The moves in fights are incredible, and when you are doing the final attack to finish the enemy, that animation with sword and blood is fantastic. Also, fight with almost every boss is so exciting, their moves and animation while you are fighting is something which can’t be described with words, you can only feel it when you are playing.     This game somehow feels like the game i always wanted to have when i was a child 25 years ago.....
    Being a "Ninja" wo is an insane death delivery machine and has all the cool tools in the world .

    Great game. Don't let the difficulty put you off. Gorgeous graphics and exceptionally well designed stages and gameplay. The first playthrough will always be the hardest but most memorable.

    The best in the souls series. In my opinion its got a few of the hardest boss fights in souls games. Such a well designed game. Combat is fluid and intriguing, the world is beautiful. I have beat the story twice on console and had to start it again PC. If you love the souls like genre, you should try this one.

    Also me after playing Sekiro first couple of minutes. : Why cant I beat this mini boss!! ( Rage Quits)
    10/10 will come back to this after unlearning Dark souls smh.

    Until i perfected my craft. What makes Sekiro so great you ask? The atmosphere. The beautiful environment, the music and the folk lore inspired story. Not something you care about? Solid gameplay, fluid mechanics and fairness. That's right, above anything else Sekiro is fair. Above all else what makes Sekiro so great is the gradual improvement you make. You keep grinding, keep getting hit,Until i perfected my craft. What makes Sekiro so great you ask? The atmosphere. The beautiful environment, the music and the folk lore inspired story. Not something you care about? Solid gameplay, fluid mechanics and fairness. That's right, above anything else Sekiro is fair. Above all else what makes Sekiro so great is the gradual improvement you make. You keep grinding, keep getting hit, keep losing and dying until you figure out all the patterns, all moves and you can see how much better you become. The first playthrough I died well over 1000 times. Second plythrough I died maybe 500 times. And then a little less, a little less, until finally I just started speedrunning it.… Expand

    It's really good but if you think this is the hardest Souls-like game you didn't fight with Slave Knight Gael :).

    Sekir-oh yeah! Wants you to play particular ways, lean in and have a good time. Decide what you wish to kil, and then get to killing it.

    - Poison swamps
    - BBCs that can kill you - Doors do not open from this side - Bonfires and estus flask - Sword clanks - Difficulty settings (hard-harder-HARDER) - Rage inducing boss fights. I thought I lost the ability to rage at a game after I beat Manus, until this game (no Gael and Midir were simply fun fights that I purely enjoyed, Nameless King too while we're at it)    Pros:
    - Poison swamps
    - BBCs that can kill you
    - Doors do not open from this side
    - Bonfires and estus flask
    - Sword clanks
    - Difficulty settings (hard-harder-HARDER)
    - Rage inducing boss fights. I thought I lost the ability to rage at a game after I beat Manus, until this game (no Gael and Midir were simply fun fights that I purely enjoyed, Nameless King too while we're at it)

    Cons:
    - Rage inducing boss fights, some bosses can whoop your arse into oblivion till you decide to give up and come back tomorrow. Overall the game takes a certain level of dedication
    - Terror sucks

    Wieder einmal ein Meisterwerk von FromSoftware. Der Kampf ist flüssig und alles, von der Prothetik bis zum Ablenken und Kontern, ist so verdammt zufriedenstellend. Im Ernst, Sie werden wahrscheinlich feststellen, dass der Kampf in anderen Spielen fehlt, wenn Sie dieses Kunstwerk fertiggestellt haben. Art Direction ist brillant und alles passt so gut zusammen.

In the early parts, the game is punishingly difficult to the point where I wondered if I was actually capable of advancing past one of the early bosses.     A marvelous game. It can be brutal at times, but the feeling of beating a tough but reasonably fair boss is great. Truly a fitting follow-up to fromsoft's soulsborne series.

    Overall, Sekiro is defined by its riveting, challenging, and ultimately highly rewarding gameplay. Stemming from simplicity but giving a wide variety of different combat options, few games come close to matching the exhilarating rush that Sekiro’s best moments provide. Exploring its atmospherically engrossing levels is a treat, from a visual, musical, and atmospheric standpoint. Even if exploration and character storylines are sometimes hampered by Dragonrot, repeatedly severing the immortality of bosses with brutal “Shinobi Executions” and discovering the ritual secrets of eternal life offers a captivating experience that stands out as one of FromSoftware’s best and most distinctive titles.

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro. If you're persistent, up for a challenge, and don't become frustrated easily, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an easy game to recommend.

    Though Sekiro feels impossibly hard at times, the level of euphoria you experience when delivering a death blow to a tricky boss or when you finally clear a castle grounds of all enemies is almost unparalleled.
