Aug 1, 2021Simply put one of the greatest games I have ever played. Loved every minute. Gameplay is so fluent and has a great pace, boss fights are just amazing and will get your palms sweating.
-
Aug 1, 2021This game is not difficult but makes you die thousands of times. Great game.
-
Aug 1, 2021I liked the big monkey a lot. The rest of the game was awesome too I guess.

Aug 1, 2021Was never a fan of souls-like games, but this game is just clicked for me and it's a masterpiece. Bosses are difficult yet enjoyable and very rarely do I feel like a boss is simply unbeatable because I don't have the right-build or items. It was entirely skill based.

Aug 1, 2021So rewarding, it's the feeling you'll get from this game after you face your wall of enemies you thought you couldn't beat, from mobs, to mini-bosses up to bosses... and just when you thought you are the Sekiro God, they throw you the final boss to wipe your @ss for you clean!!! Hands down one of the best final bosses ever made, glad i picked it up after sleeping on it for years.

Aug 3, 2021I think that this masterpiece set high criteria for the Game of the Year award. Every single detail in this remarkable game is breathtaking.

Aug 3, 2021My favorite From Soft game. The level of engagement, how deeply you interact with enemies and bosses is the best part of this game.
-
Aug 3, 2021Combat, stealth, exploration, story, everything you do is connected and meaningful. Sekiro rewards your time, both in-game and honing your personal skill.

Aug 3, 2021Great game. Don't let the difficulty put you off. Gorgeous graphics and exceptionally well designed stages and gameplay. The first playthrough will always be the hardest but most memorable.

Aug 3, 2021This game rules. What else can you say? Issa good game but like no game gets me more mad.
-
Aug 3, 2021The best in the souls series. In my opinion its got a few of the hardest boss fights in souls games. Such a well designed game. Combat is fluid and intriguing, the world is beautiful. I have beat the story twice on console and had to start it again PC. If you love the souls like genre, you should try this one.

Aug 3, 2021Me: "I have played every other Fromsoft game, so I'm so ready for this piece of cake"
Also me after playing Sekiro first couple of minutes. : Why cant I beat this mini boss!! ( Rage Quits)
10/10 will come back to this after unlearning Dark souls smh. -

-
Aug 3, 2021It's really good but if you think this is the hardest Souls-like game you didn't fight with Slave Knight Gael :).
-
Aug 3, 2021Sekir-oh yeah! Wants you to play particular ways, lean in and have a good time. Decide what you wish to kil, and then get to killing it.

Aug 4, 2021What a game. Perfection of sword and stealth combat. This game is for sweat lords like me.

A child gave me rice
The big snake wasn't nice
Twice, Shadows die. -
Aug 4, 2021A marvelous game. It can be brutal at times, but the feeling of beating a tough but reasonably fair boss is great. Truly a fitting follow-up to fromsoft's soulsborne series.
-
Aug 4, 2021Honestly, one of the greatest games! Honestly, one of the greatest games! Honestly, one of the greatest games!
-
Aug 4, 2021Game's harder than me when I see O'rin of the water. Solid and unique gameplay.

Dec 17, 2024Overall, Sekiro is defined by its riveting, challenging, and ultimately highly rewarding gameplay. Stemming from simplicity but giving a wide variety of different combat options, few games come close to matching the exhilarating rush that Sekiro’s best moments provide. Exploring its atmospherically engrossing levels is a treat, from a visual, musical, and atmospheric standpoint. Even if exploration and character storylines are sometimes hampered by Dragonrot, repeatedly severing the immortality of bosses with brutal “Shinobi Executions” and discovering the ritual secrets of eternal life offers a captivating experience that stands out as one of FromSoftware’s best and most distinctive titles.

May 15, 2019Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro. If you're persistent, up for a challenge, and don't become frustrated easily, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an easy game to recommend.

Apr 28, 2019Though Sekiro feels impossibly hard at times, the level of euphoria you experience when delivering a death blow to a tricky boss or when you finally clear a castle grounds of all enemies is almost unparalleled.
