Jun 14, 2021The closest to an actual sword fight a game can feel. Epic samurai game 10/10
-
Jun 14, 2021Fromsoft's loveletter to Dex builds. "Fall seven times and stand up eight."
-Japanese proverb. -
Jun 14, 2021When I was a child. One day I went to the video game store to buy Metroid 2.
And then the sales lady told me "It may be too difficult for you."
But I said "It's ok! I want this!" Some months later. After having finished the game, I went to the video game store to tell that to the lady. But I found the store gone. Sekiro reminded me of the story and the days I wasn't afraid of challenges. -

Jun 14, 2021One of the finest pieces of games of all times what masterclass wow such wow.

Jun 14, 2021I got stuck on Lady Butterfly and just gave up. But now, after playing it on the PC, this game totally deserves GOTY. The combat system is incredibly fluid and getting better at dodging and deflecting is the most important skill in the game. I used to hate this game but now I love it. 10/10 would get ground pounded by the Demon of Hatred again.

Jun 14, 2021I finally beat Sekiro. Just under 60 hours, and 5 hours alone spent on the final boss and it's honestly one of the best experiences with a game I've ever had.

Jun 14, 2021A challenging yet highly rewarding stealth/action game with phenomenal combat and surprising re-playability.

Jun 14, 2021Como fanático del trabajo de FromSoftware desde hace mucho tiempo, disfruté mucho este juego y lo consideraría una obra maestra absoluta, que bien vale la pena el precio.
-
Jun 14, 2021In short, it's a stealth game made by FromSoft, and as a fan of both stealth and FromSoft, this is quite literally my wet dream. Possibly dethroning Souls games from my list of favourites. Game's that good, man.
-
Jun 14, 2021It's a brutal and unforgiving adventure but it's incredibly rewarding as you learn and master the different enemies you face. The gameplay is as great as ever and the combined narrative and world-building makes for an incredibly memorable experience.
-
Jun 14, 2021Easy gameplay in friendly Japan. Honestly one of the best games i've ever played in my life.
-
Jun 14, 2021One of the best action games of all time, and well deserving of the GOTY award.

Jun 14, 2021Leaked audio from inside FromSoftware:
"Dangit, players aren't parrying enough in the Dark Souls games! They're all just spamming magic or rolling around!"
"What if we made a game that was all parrying?"
"Johnson, you're a genius."
*Sounds of truckloads of money crashing through the walls of FromSoftware HQ* -

Jun 16, 2021An absolute masterpiece of game design and storytelling , it takes all of the annoying things from the souls born series and throw them aside like they never happened , if that is the same quality I am going to expect from elden ring then it would be 2022 goty for sure
-
Jun 16, 2021It's just one of them games where you can kick-back, relax, not worry about stressful enemy types or annoying boss battles. Everything will want to kill you, but because you're an awesome Shinobi, they'll die with one fatal blow.
-
Jun 16, 2021It's frustrating, but finally finishing the final boss gave me a real sense of satisfaction.
I thought I was bad at video games, but this game really did make me feel like I've really honed and improved my skills.Thank you, Sekiro. You're a very vital piece of helping me realize that I am capable of growth. -
Jun 16, 2021One of the best games I have played in the last 10 years. You can do it. Beast game.
-
Jun 16, 2021This game really deserved the Game of the Year 2019 award. This game is a masterpiece.

Jun 16, 2021It's all awesome. The fighting somehow suits me much better than earlier soulslike. I'm a shinobi god! It feels good. The parrying makes all the difference, and I like not having to agonize over whether I use the right items on the right armour. Not all souls-fans will agree, and that's ok. For me, this is the ultimate game.

Jun 16, 2021Sekiro challenges your patience, reflexes, and muscle memory. Once you overcome the hurdle that is relearning how to approach FromSoft's games, this game gets easier. It's no small task though, as I got pummeled until forcing myself to play this for what it is. A fast paced action game with unequaled and unforgiving satisfaction derived from combat.

Dec 17, 2024Overall, Sekiro is defined by its riveting, challenging, and ultimately highly rewarding gameplay. Stemming from simplicity but giving a wide variety of different combat options, few games come close to matching the exhilarating rush that Sekiro’s best moments provide. Exploring its atmospherically engrossing levels is a treat, from a visual, musical, and atmospheric standpoint. Even if exploration and character storylines are sometimes hampered by Dragonrot, repeatedly severing the immortality of bosses with brutal “Shinobi Executions” and discovering the ritual secrets of eternal life offers a captivating experience that stands out as one of FromSoftware’s best and most distinctive titles.

May 15, 2019Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro. If you're persistent, up for a challenge, and don't become frustrated easily, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an easy game to recommend.

Apr 28, 2019Though Sekiro feels impossibly hard at times, the level of euphoria you experience when delivering a death blow to a tricky boss or when you finally clear a castle grounds of all enemies is almost unparalleled.
