    Cuando me empezó a enganchar y gustar, descubir que ya estaba casi al final, lo que me dio mucho bajón, es corto. Pero lo peor fue que algun bug sucedió y no podia completar misiones y ahí se quedó mi partida, lo desinstale. Podria haber sido buen juego pero no parece acabado, esta a medio cocer y terminado deprisa y corriendo

    Having been especially looking forward to this game, I don't think I have ever been more disappointed in a game.
    The action packed fun ride of game sold in the trailers fails to live up to what was promised and becomes quite dull and repetitive all too quick.

    Buy this game! I had never played the original but when I was at GameStop I explained the style of games I liked and this was suggested as something I should purchase. I absolutely loved it. The vehicles are really cool and you can steal and drive anyone you want. You get a flying vehicle, motorcycles, two tanks and other vehicles. I thought this was cool. Your personal vehicle is armoredBuy this game! I had never played the original but when I was at GameStop I explained the style of games I liked and this was suggested as something I should purchase. I absolutely loved it. The vehicles are really cool and you can steal and drive anyone you want. You get a flying vehicle, motorcycles, two tanks and other vehicles. I thought this was cool. Your personal vehicle is armored and you can upgrade the heck out of it. Your weapons are really good and fun to use. It's an open-world style and you have tons of stuff to get into , it is a very long playing game. It's kind of snarky like how Borderlands was which makes it fun. The only thing that they do need to work on is maybe adding a team-mate in the sequel. You almost get teammates but they don't get to ride with you or do anything with you. If you choose to go down that path as a game creator, please make sure you give the teammates a lot of verbiage so their conversations don't become monotony like most video games. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Most game creators these days are like lemmings , if one gets a stupid idea everyone else follows suit and puts as much dumb stuff in a video game as they can which becomes agonizing and restrictive.     So, I have to give credit to the game for its gameplay, it's fun as hell, gory and fast! This is no game that cares for its story, it's only used as an excuse for the gameplay, so one just has to accept that. HOWEVER, I played this game on my base PS4, and HOLY CRAP! I have never had a game that made me think that first, the sticks on my controller were broken, then, that my AV receiverSo, I have to give credit to the game for its gameplay, it's fun as hell, gory and fast! This is no game that cares for its story, it's only used as an excuse for the gameplay, so one just has to accept that. HOWEVER, I played this game on my base PS4, and HOLY CRAP! I have never had a game that made me think that first, the sticks on my controller were broken, then, that my AV receiver was somehow causing a latency so it had me redone my cable management to plug my ps4 directly to my tv, and then, had my thinking that my TV had broken and was no longer supporting game mode. And why ? As it turns out, this game has not been optimised for the base ps4 so there is a horrible input lag that causes a weird acceleration and buggy dead zone, making precise aiming nealy impossible, which is just unacceptable for a fast shooter like this. It made me turn on the aim assist , that's how bad it was. That is the reason alone i gave this game a 4, otherwise i would have given it a solid 7. So heads up when buying this game for the base ps4… Expand

    This game isn't that great. It's supposedly open world but you're usually forced to drive to locations via a set path, with mountains blocking any deviation. The environments are drab and exploration is boring as there isn't really anything to explore.     Story wise, there is absolutely no story that is interesting. The introduction of the game is just wierd and you have no clue who you are or why the hell you are doing what your're doing. The overall acting of the characters is extremely bad, including the voice-overs. The graphics are so bad on pc, you don't believe the first time you start playing. I literally, went back to the settings menu, thinking I forgot to save my video-settings, but I was all activated.

    Driving your car is horribly, even after upgrading the care a bit. The missions are boring as hell, and i mean the main missions. It all comes down to go their and kill everything in a world that is empty as hell! This is just DOOM in a sandbox with additional skills like a double jump and more of that stuff. I'm glad I've not yet finished days gone, because I refunded this game.

    Rather dull and tedious combat, irritating characters and dialogue, lots of driving around a rather lifeless and boring world. It looks nice and runs really well on PC, but is just a chore to play with very little to offer players that have hundreds of other options.

    i tried to continue playing this game but it sucks. the menu screen is a cluster of confusion and who knows what your shooting at! i have about 4 hours into the game but i cant waste anymore time on it. this is a 50 cent game that should be played on an arcade, drop 2 quarters, die, move on to the next...

    This is nothing like Rage 1. It is very repetitive in all the biomes. They did nothing to change it up when you advance zones. It just felt very cookie cutter. There are basically 3 types of missions and they are all same, all 300 hundred of them, rinse and repeat. Got boring real quick. But i had to complete it. I got it on PC.

    Its not the worst, but its not past mediocre either.

    Congrat ID you get the job done as always fun gameplay nervous and fast paced i didnt have that much fun since Doom but... Avalanche you **** as always the open world is boring no life wathsoever, the driving is clunky as hell, the soundtrack is meh, the mission are répétitive, the boss are weak and... well i will never pre order anymore unless dor Doom eternal

    Rage 2 it’s a fun game in the combat but it isn’t Rage 1. The story is very generic followed by 70+ years after Rage 1. Rage 2 is a colourful neon mess if your on LSD as it makes the textures way to blurry and visual bugs. And yes micro transactions are skins sadly .

    -Les environnements qui promettaient d'être sublimes sont là, oui, mais plus ou moins vide, sans interaction, trésor cachés ou quête secondaire...

    -L'ambiance post-apocalyptique, les costumes... sont bien là... mais notre personnage casse l'ambiance en prenant sans cesse la parole pour proférer nullités sur nullités à peine au niveau d'un Dardevil...

    -Bon, et le gameplay ? Bourrin, jouissif, oui, mais à peine 10h, allez 15h, de jeu, même en difficile.

    Ca aurait pu être vraiment bien.
    Mais vendu 30€, avec les DLC incluses.

    Et loin de l'ambiance glauque du premier, d'un mad max ou d'un Walking dead... là, le jeu tourne à la farce, et rien ne peut rectifier le tire.

    The game had huge potentiality to become one of the best FPS games in this decade. After you play about an hour you realize that the only good thing is gun play, that is so satisfying, but the story, repetitive missions ( both main and side) and open world is an absolute crap. Three points for gun play, zero for the rest.

    I'm not even going to finish this game. It's such a bland and boring title and in 2021 it's still filled with tons of sluggish menu lag. I liked the combat but I was still expecting more.

    You have to spend a lot of time on completely meaningless and tedious things, but then you will find a bonus at the end, and so the whole game. A bunch of meaningless things addictive gameplay. Coins and luminous little things. In my opinion, the game was originally conceived as garbage to pump money, but then they realized that it was disgusting and the lootboxes would simply bury this game.

    Riding uninteresting. There is only one car, everything else is just there. Skirmishes on cars are even worse.
    Shooting is not interesting. But the management of the plant is not bad.
    The graphics are good, but very poorly optimized.
    The interface is the worst I've seen.

    The game is unfinished. It has a huge amount of stupid flaws. I have not seen such a hack for a very long time. One of the worst games of the decade. Playing this is a real torture.    … Expand

    Rage 2, jahrelang drauf gewartet. Und dann das. Das Spiel ist unfssbar langweilig was die Nebenmissionen angeht (gehe hin, töte alles und sammel Kisten ein) von 10 Starts werden 3 mit nem Bluescreen direkt abgebrochen. Soundbug, das heisst, bei meinem Spielstand von ca. 45% dürfte ich nochmal anfangen. Mache ich auf gar keinen Fall, da lohnt das Spiel nicht für. Bis jetzt die Enttäuschung 2019

    It really is that bad. Other things. Game is pretty much only playable with a controller on the pc due to abilities and the car elements. Bethesda.. So.. They don't sell dlc or skins (quite why anyone would want a skin for a single player game I have no idea but there must be greed) they sell coins which means a dlc will cost 1000 coins, 10€ but what you want costs 9 euros. They force you to spend more than the value of a dlc.

    Real shame. Don't buy it. Even if you enjoyed the original unless you can take moronic dialogue and pathetic humour every 2 seconds. I wasted my money on this.

    Oh yeah and it has bugs where npcs dissappear during conversations so you are talking to nobody. Presumably they could have fixed this but didn't bother.    … Expand

    I feel like I could write a book about all the terrible design decisions made for this game, but since I'm limited here I'll just cover the basics.

    To sum it up, this is one of the worst "open world" games I've ever played.     To sum it up, this is one of the worst "open world" games I've ever played.

    It's main ability/mechanic is "Overdrive", basically the more enemies you kill in a short time frame, the more Felrite (Xp) you get per kill. This also allows you to buff your weapons for a short duration, basically just increasing their damage output. Problem is... the majority of the time you won't be fighting very many enemies. Most random open world events just have 1-8 enemies, meaning you won't even be able to hit the max multiplier of 10x. Every point of interest on the map usually only has you fight at max like 16 enemies at once, so even doing those doesn't allow you to use it much. Perhaps you could just increase the difficulty to increase how many enemies spawn? Nope. They went the lazy route with designing difficulty and just make your weapons weaker and the enemy weapons stronger. Playing this game on anything but Nightmare or harder makes it a joke, but this leads the problem with how you heal. You heal through the Overdrive mechanic, but if you're playing safe (avoiding incoming damage) you won't be able to max out your Overdrive and thus get more Hp and Xp per kill. The only other way to heal is to buy/craft healing injections. Both of which slow down the gameplay considerably. Seeing a problem with it's main ability/mechanic yet?

    That's just one ability, I could touch on each and every ability you can get and how terribly designed they are. (A defensive shield that even when fully upgraded sucks at being a defensive shield for example.)

    Let's touch on the weapons and how to acquire them. Weapons and Abilities both are tied to open world exploration, you have to find Arks to get access to the few weapons and abilities the game has. Not much are marked on your map to start and the only way to find them is by following a vague beam of light that shoots into the sky from each Ark location. (yet the beams of light disappears constantly... bug? intended?), If you don't just google a map of each Ark location you could spend most of the game not even having access to all the weapons and abilities. (There aren't even that many) Now lets talk about the weapons, they all have a Primary and Alternate FIre mode, but they're horribly unoriginal, several just have an AIm down the Sights mode where as others seem to have just been designed to "look cool" for a trailer but be terrible at actual combat situations. Like the Firestorm Revolver, what does it do? Well it's horribly inaccurate primary fire shoots darts basically that stick into the enemies then what does it's secondary fire do? It just snaps your fingers and makes the darts explode setting it's target on fire.... Is is just me or is that horribly unnecessary? The darts could easily just explode on their own (like they do when you use Overdrive) and thus give the gun something more interesting to do with it's alternate fire, but nope, it's just a mechanic to "look cool" when you snap your fingers instead of making any sense for a combat situation. The upgrades you get for weapons seem to just be how the weapon was originally designed to be like, but they stripped it down making the default version a much worse version of how the weapon should be. For example, the "insanely innovative" upgrades for your rocket launcher that locks on to enemies, is, one upgrade allows you to lock onto a SECOND enemy! Omg! So exciting! What does another upgrade down the line do? You guessed it! You can lock onto a THIRD enemy!! So exciting, so innovative. (Your other choices are even less interesting as just being reload speed upgrades or magazine size upgrades.)

    The open world itself feels incredibly pointless and the entire game would be better if they just lined up every point of interest into a line and turned the game into a linear game. You can see all the random events that exist within 5 minutes of playing and they're all pointless. (Race someone for 1 Vehicle Upgrade part or kill random enemies on the road for a pathetic amount of xp is what it boils down to). The points of interests themselves all feel copy-pasted reusing the same environments for the same events over and over with minor differences in layout to not just be exact copy paste.

    Do yourself a favor and skip this game, I wouldn't even suggest it on sale. Even free is a waste of time and there are better free games to play.    … Expand

So the 22 hours I spent on the game, including the 6 or so hours I spent trying to get the last mission to trigger were for nothing. It is now 3 years after launch.     Avalanche Studios haven’t failed to develop yet another pile of crap, Rage 2 is only slightly better then Just Cause 4, everything is bad from horrible graphics to some of the worst voice acting in history, it’s meant to run at 60 FPS haha, on the PS4 Pro, if you play it everyday for a week, then tally it up, it might add up to 60, just terrible.     This by far is the worst looking ps4 pro game to date. Also feels like the game is unfinished. I beat the main story in 6 hours!!!!!!!! Tons of bugs. Graphical mess!!!! Do not buy!!!

    Its a 4 or a 5 it feels like a Bethesda game everything in this game sucks but the gunplay giving 0 to counter 10s this is no where near a masterpiece, but its playable. Kinda.

    rage 2 is a disappointment, bad story script to sleep upright. the game is very slow lack of dynamism. grafiquement to pick it up. I go round in circles I prefer to drink a beer than to play a rage 2. bethesda of the hustler flush with daisy games to avoid.

    I'll just point out the worst offenders:

    -Every enemy in the game is basically the same enemy, approached in the same way. There is never any reason to think about what you're doing, or change your playstyle.

    -The game is pitifully easy. It's basically impossible to die unless you decide to stand completely still and not attack the enemies.

    -The map is mostly empty space, and what little content exists is just carbon copies of the same handful of encounters.

    -There is a ton of terribly written dialogue that gets thrown at you. The story goes beyond boring and straight into terrible. Thankfully there is a skip option for everything.

    -The driving is unbelievably clunky, and you need to do a lot of it traversing the empty map.

    -The game is constantly inundating you with terribly voice acted dialogue. Every time you walk into a place you get one of the same 3 or 4 terrible voice lines that you've heard dozens of times from characters you've been given no reason care about telling you something you already knew or that is entirely irrelevant.    … Expand

    What? Who the beep would think this game WOULDN'T have, at the least, a co-op multiplayer? All of this hype and there's NO CO-OP, NO COMPETITIVE PVP, NO MULTIPLAYER WHATSOEVER, and the game is OVER in about 10 hours? No way in beep. What a total disappointment.

    •30 fps lock
    •significant input lag (due to fps lock & inability to disable v-synk) which makes it hard to aim
    •blurry image like its an early ps3 game
    •graphics from first rage
    There is no objective reason to buy this game on base consoles
    it's unplayable
    ps4 pro version is fine though

    I have put over 40 hours into this game and have really enjoyed it. However, I encountered a very common and we'll known game breaking bug. You are unable to continue with the final mission of the game, as it does not pop up. I believe to avoid this bug (this is spoiler free), you will be doing missions for 3 people, make sure you do the missions for the doctor first and make sure you DOI have put over 40 hours into this game and have really enjoyed it. However, I encountered a very common and we'll known game breaking bug. You are unable to continue with the final mission of the game, as it does not pop up. I believe to avoid this bug (this is spoiler free), you will be doing missions for 3 people, make sure you do the missions for the doctor first and make sure you DO NOT fast travel, die, or quit the game before starting the final mission. This should avoid activating the bug. This bug has been known for over a year and the developers have not fixed it. I think it is fair to give a game that is impossible to complete, a 0, as it is essentially an unfinished product. If this bug gets patched, I will update my review and easily give it a 7 or 8.

    PROS:
    -Gunplay is fantastic and smooth.
    -Stringing together abilities is a blast.
    -Vehicle combat is fun and car animations and sounds are great.
    -Multiple skill trees that are fun to dive into and upgrade.
    -NPC dialogue is hilarious.
    -Framerate seems somewhat steady and consistent.

    CONS:
    -Game breaking bugs.
    -Extremely laggy menu.
    -HUD sometimes disappears.
    -Purchasing DLC could be more streamlined.
    -Flying the Icarus is somewhat wonky.
    -Sprinting cuts out over tiny debris and very short drops.    … Expand

    Rage 2’s nonsensical story is unbearable, and the unskippable exploration parts are mostly irritating and boring. Luckily, the shooting gameplay is so amazing that it’s easy to forgive these flaws. And while encounters can become repetitive, new weapons and abilities make sure there’s always some fun to be had.
