Jan 20, 2018What a big mistake this game is
the game a lot of problems for example bugs, glitches, uninterested characters, bad story, bad ending
boring side quests, boring open world, boring main missions, cringe dialog and many more
its so sad that the first one is way better the this i wished this would ve been better
but its what a bad squeal is gonna be. -
Dec 1, 2020This game can be explained in four words lifeless, wasted potential and boring.
When I first heard the idea of open world Mirror's Edge I was excited sadly this is just plain trash, you no longer can pick up weapons for some reason, the characters are -

Jan 7, 2019In my opinion, the original game was tremendously better. The game is playable. It never crashed on me. That's all that redeems this joke of a game for me.

Oct 6, 2016Extremely short and it doesn't leave you satisfied.
There is almost no interaction aside from the "dialogue" (which was good), which at the end doesn't matter, there is absolutely /zero/ gameplay, the story was okay (aside from the terrible ending) and that's Firewatch.
Simple and short. -

Dec 1, 2016While there’s nothing else out there that can deliver the thrill of racing across this vast city and scaling massive buildings using insane parkour techniques, the sense of wonder isn’t as strong as before. Catalyst is held back by a horrendous combat system and a lackluster story that takes itself too seriously. If you can get past its flaws, you’ll find Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is still a modest platformer.

Sep 7, 2016Catalyst is an example of how bigger doesn't always have to mean better. Some games don't benefit from becoming an open world adventure and should stick to what worked well, even amazing in the original. Catalyst unfortunately, traded quality for quantity.

Edge MagazineAug 26, 2016The game's huge assortment of side missions and time trials, along with Gridnode runs, represent its most appealing offerings as you hone your route and - for the most part - focus on nothing but running. [Issue#296, p.108]
