Mar 27, 2017Decent, if generic, sci-fi shooter wrapped in a creepy Mass Effect skin.
This is the game where EA decided to cash out on the Mass Effect brand by shoveling out the bare minimum they thought they could get away with. Mass Effect has unquestionably lost its standing as a top echelon franchise. -

Mar 27, 2017Why? Seriously Why?
The Scenario is good, the game-play is ok...
But why all game design and animation is at this point outdated???
I loved mass effect series but... Why you make me hate this game Bioware... -

Mar 27, 2017Yes, the game is having it minuses, but is still the same ME game that I like.
It has some elements of DAI, but that is also not bad for the game and just adds some possibilities and not limitations.
But to start my NG+ I'd be waiting some major patches to be released -
Mar 27, 2017Graphics look last-gen. Animations are as bad as you have read all over the Internet; very immersion breaking. Missions are a bore. Almost 30 hours in, and may not complete the story because I'm getting so bored. I would stay away from this one folks.

Mar 27, 2017i can say after 30 hours in this game is great, though yea there are bugs but most games these days have bugs, yea it's not as good as 1 or 2 but im yet to find a game other then DAO/DAA, that i find more fun (NOTE: im yet to play witcher 3).
Gameplay: 10
story: 6.5
Art/graphics: 7 (sometimes drops to a 5)
multiplayer: 9
Characters: 8.5
animation: a janky 6.5 -

Mar 27, 2017Just. Horible.
This is not Mass Effect game. This is not what the fans were waiting for, nor "just a good game for newcomers". Sure, you've killed Dragon Age, for two times ina row now, but good god, the latest ME game was already not very good, and then you're giving us this peace of space junk? Pffsht. Nope.
EA, please, stop killing good companies and franchises. Just stop -

Mar 27, 2017As always, PC Gamers are butthurt AF.
All this hate, jkust because the animations arent good enough...
The rest of the game is absolutely great, I would give it an 85/100, but well, counter score as always on Metacritic. -

Mar 27, 2017This deserves no Mass Affection.
I keep it short:
ME1, ME2, ME3 are about story, characters, species and relations between the latter two.
ME Andromeda tries to be the same, but it also includes new gameplay layers due to its focus on an outdated openworld concept. The result: It fails at both ME's core elements (see above) and at being a great openworld game.
Sad, but true. -

Mar 27, 2017Love this game and plenty to do. The environments are breathtaking and feels like you are getting a great game. Yes the faces are a bit poor and i have encountered a few bugs but these are minor and i can easily ignore them.

Mar 27, 2017mass effect Andromeda a great game. astonishing planet landscapes, interesting side quests, missions, basically everything`s a great about this game. i love mass effect trilogy, but this is a new mass effect, it has nothing to do with previous mass effect. i can only say that i`ve spent already more than 20 hours in game and i`m happy, that i bought this game.

Mar 27, 2017Seeing all this zeroes in the reviews i was afraid to play, thought the game is terrible. But actually it's pretty good after 30 hours of play. Though the game doesn't deserve 10, i give that number anyway. A lot of people give 0 and the game doesn't deserve it either.

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]

Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
