Mar 26, 2017I have enjoyed aspects of the game and nowhere near the level I would of expected. Many areas are without proper polish and the formula doesn't seem to have improved. At one point I am looking at an image of the universe that is flat (obvious skybox), poor detail and ruins the atmosphere; this sums up the game..

Mar 28, 2017This is the worst Bioware game so far and the worst disappointment of this year. This is not what I was waiting for. I wanted a game with a decent story, good dialogues, good characters - nothing is in the game!! Not sure if I will continue playing this or make a refund.

Jun 8, 2017Individually speaking, this was the biggest disappointment of ANY series. It's not even the horrible animations, poor dialogues, lack of any emotional connection to the characters; the main thing wrong with this Mass Effect is the fact the missions are boring, nothing really happens. It's a very cheap spin-off.

Mar 23, 2017Not much is original in this whack-a-mole. A series once liked for its story is ruined by meh acting, and terrible animations. Also -9000pts for misusing Natalie Dormer.

Mar 21, 2017I was a huge fan of ME3 multiplayer mode. I´ve created too much expectation waiting for a superb new outstanding multiplayer for this new generation. And suddenly everything is gone... forever...
-
Mar 24, 2017Not a Mass Effect game. I'll put it like this: bad writing, terrible animations, decent game play (that's why it has 4/10) , but this is not Mass Effect. Better find a new brand name for this.

Mar 25, 2017It's a shame for this kind of game with an enormus amount of money to be able to just not be a good or an excellent game. What happend? Like...really? How can you not see what's wrong with this game. That's a shame to have that much problems with a AAA. Buy it when it's on sale...

Mar 31, 2017this is awful ,., everything bad over that last 10years of crap in games rolled up into 1 package from dlc to micros, bad story to bad mechanics ,, full price for this or replay the 1st 3 ,., play the 1st 3 & return this before it ends up in the bargain bucket

Mar 23, 2017Played 4 hours and my god this is a bad game. Have nothing to do with the ME universe. Feels like a chinese knockoff. Stay away. Biggest disappointment I had for along time

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]

Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
