Apr 9, 2017Not a Bioware game. It's a cheap outsourced knock off. It looks like a Rolex in the store, but once you play you realize it says Rolodex and the gold peels off.

Jun 24, 2017The tens and zeros are both jokes. It is IMPOSSIBLE this is a 10. It is buggy and poorly optimized, it has graphical glitches, and poor animations and textures. All facts. My opinion - its world is far inferior to Horizon Zero Dawn, Zelda Breath of the Wild, and The Witcher 3. Games need to bring a lot more now. This isn't 2006 anymore. It's clear this is not the original Bioware crew.

Mar 22, 2017Wanted so bad to like this one, but ultimately it fell flat. It never was going to live up to the trilogy, but as an RPG it couldn't hold its own. Bad cc, combat watered down with loss of squad tactics, awful animations and technical performance, backward writing and interactions, etc.

Mar 28, 2017if people are trying to defend it by giving this game a higher rank like a 10 to "even it out" then that should tell you everything about this game it's just no mans sky again but with more money thrown at it.

Mar 28, 2017It's terrible game, very boring quests which repeats all the time. This damned scanning every time and everything Terrible dialogs and story line. Ugly characters. I don't now , list with minuses is very big, but most disappointing thing is that i don't see pluses.
. Very sad that i can't get money back.
It's not triple A game. it's not ME game which i loved. -

Mar 28, 2017It's quite hard to take this game seriously with the absolutely terrible cutscenes and poorly optimized gameplay. Simply put - it isn't up to the standard it should be. That's not to say everything is bad about it, some of the combat feels quite good, and the sound design is great. But not enough for me to keep this game unfortunately.

Mar 22, 2017It feels like the C team made it, quick tip Bioware don't give a bunch of new hires one of the most iconic franchises in the industry because they will put out a sub-par product. Mechanics are terrible the animation is laughable it crashes all the time and the story is piss poor. only thing I enjoyed about it are some of the new characters and maybe 3-4 of the choices throughout the story.
-
Mar 22, 2017Boring and half-baked. For an RPG, the character creation is limited and the so-called "choices" seem meaningless. Why even have a dialogue wheel? And I'm tempted to skip the cut-scenes, the writing is so bad and the characters, themselves, are so dull. Some of the scenery is pretty, but overall the game just feels sterile.

Mar 27, 2017Just. Horible.
This is not Mass Effect game. This is not what the fans were waiting for, nor "just a good game for newcomers". Sure, you've killed Dragon Age, for two times ina row now, but good god, the latest ME game was already not very good, and then you're giving us this peace of space junk? Pffsht. Nope.
EA, please, stop killing good companies and franchises. Just stop -

Mar 28, 2017OMG Bioware, what did you do?? Why did you ruin one of the best Sci-Fi series I've ever played?
- The story is just awful and badly written.
- The characters are not likeable.
- Too many bugs and technical issues.
- The animations look broken.
The game does not look like a great blockbuster any more, not it is like a mediocre Unisoft open world game. Shame on you!
Made a refund. -

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]
-
Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
