    The Game was just boring to play you can just press the attack button all you want and still complete the mission but the only other thing I give them flack for is that they said no microtransactions but that was a complete lie but overall it was a waste of $50.

    I give this game a 1 because the fighting mechanic is actually well made, each character feels distinct and true to how they are portrayed in movies and books. This is the only positive the game has and for that, it deserves a 1. Here's where it loses the other 9 points.

    -Buggiest AAA game of the decade, from falling through floors to eternal loading screens to odd facial distortions,    I give this game a 1 because the fighting mechanic is actually well made, each character feels distinct and true to how they are portrayed in movies and books. This is the only positive the game has and for that, it deserves a 1. Here's where it loses the other 9 points.

    -Buggiest AAA game of the decade, from falling through floors to eternal loading screens to odd facial distortions, this game could be used in game dev courses as it displays ALL possible types of glitches you can think of. It has ALL of them, not one game will be glitch free.

    -Stale predictable writing, not uncommon and somewhat expected in a super hero game, but still a let down.

    -Gear progression is completely useless. While you are under power level 130, nothing you find matters, because gear drops are based on power level, so you spend ALL of your leveling time simply puting the biggest power number items in to their appropriate slots. Even if it drops your stats and you lose good perks, they're all meaningless because it is a race to 130 power level and you need the good gear to drop. They couldn't have made leveling a character more boring even if they tried.

    -Repetitive. Yes, these type of games are always repetitive, but this one sets the bar to a new high. Soon enough the only thing you have to do everyday are the dailies, there are 4 possible bosses... you get 2 a day... They also always come in the same level, and believe it or not, you can get the same boss in the same level twice in the same day. Amazing.

    -Forgot to give players an endgame. You level to power 150 and then that's it, there is nothing to do except grind for resources, that you don't need for anything at this point. There is no raids or high end dungeons to tackle with your friends, you do vaults or hives, which are always the same thing and can't drop exotic gear.

    -Fails at single player and multiplayer, was sold as a multiplayer game first and foremost, so everyone was quick to forgive the short 10 hour campaign that stars the most boring character Marvel has to offer. But it also fails to provide anything to do online as well. This may be the first no player game ever made.

    -Cosmetics, you would think that where they can milk money out of those poor eternally forgiving superhero fanatics would have been polished, but nope, the skins are simple recolors of each other with minimal actual difference in actual models. WAY over priced and incredibly stupid, who wants yoga pants hulk? Or Fabio viking leopard Thor?

    -Empty promises, with every patch we are told that new exciting content will be coming soon, that the now almost non-existent player base will grow again, that the bugs will be fixed. The fact is the game is still buggy, there is till nothing to do and the missions are still unrewarding. Every minute you invest in this game feels like a complete waste of time. Today the new hub was released and the new rifts missions introduced, and guess what? They are as boring and cheap on rewards as the rest and that hub serves no purpose whatsoever. If this was april 1st i would guess it was a joke.

    This game is worth 15-20$ at best and even then with the nonexistent player base i doubt CD will get the GO for much content in the future. This game should serve the gaming industry well in showing everything you shouldn't do when making a game, and at this point the best thing that could happen is for Marvel to pull the license and give it to someone else asap so that we can get a decent Marvel game while the movies are still hot/warm at this point.

    P.S. Whoever was in charge of the fighting mechanic, you deserve better, look for work somewhere else.    … Expand

Out of all the villains the Marvel license has Crystal Dynamics has chosen to use robots, And 2 villains that you fight over and over. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AS I DID.     This game is straight trash. It’s not worth the $60 and plays more like a free game—heck I’ve had some fun on this game, but I’ve definitely had more fun on free games. DC universe online is much better despite the fact that it’s free, even if it’s not a “good” game, it redeems itself by being free. The most upsetting thing is that I paid a full $60 expecting it to live up to the price,This game is straight trash. Along with more bugs in it than Antmans underpants, it gets old, boring and frustrating real fast.
    If only the games designers showed the same skill, interest and attention to detail as the graphic designers, this would be an awesome game,, sadly whilst failing to fully embrace the Marvel Universe and all it had to (and could have) offered, it’s lack of content and variety, along with buggy gameplay, confused direction leads to a very very big disappointment.     Developers need to stop pushing games as a service, cuz the results are generic and boring missions and infinite meaningless character progession.
    Give us a good solo single player experience instead.

Worst thing, by far, is the load screen: I spent more time looking at the load screen than playing the game. Worst of all, the IDIOTIC fact that you can't do what Tomb Raider did in the 1990s and save to the exact point you were is just embarrassing.Boring, and a Waste of money. Just doing the same thing over and over. I played it twice and can't be bothered to load it again.     I was really excited to pick this game up, being someone who thoroughly enjoys the MCU and was looking forward to a new universe and interpretation of the characters we all love. However, I really didn't find Khamala Khan to be a stellar addition to the Avengers. She has some great qualities to her character. For one, she's very down to earth and relates to the audience extremely well, and she seems to have realistic reactions when it comes to meeting other cast members or confronting conflict. On the other hand she can be quite whiney and annoying at times too. This all goes without saying I would overlook this if the gameplay were something of substance. It really isn't. They start you out with the Hulk as your second character with Khamala, or Ms. Marvel, and he has the most rudimentary moveset out of the whole cast. The most entertaining was definitely Iron Man, but even he is lacking in the fun factor. The Batman games have a good "Beat em up" system in place where you feel like countering and dodging enemies is calculated, but here it just feels like you're mashing the heavy or light attacks. Not to mention that 99% of the missions are either defend an area or "go get those guys over there". Not very fun. I honestly didn't get past the first half of the game because it became too difficult at a certain point. I was only on normal difficulty and had tried going back to earlier missions just to get some more loot in order to make my character more powerful in hopes of making the level easier. I watched YouTubers play it and it seemed normal to them. The mission that really made me lose it is where you are infiltrating a complex as Iron Man, fully suited up, and you have to stand in a very small circle in order to hack into the computer system and get into the building. The circle is so small and hard to defend that I frequently found myself outside flying around, as that is Iron Man's main feature, he can attack at a distance and nimbly juke out your opponents. I realized too late that the enemies can also capture the circle and I failed over and over and over again. After an hour or so on this single mission I simply stopped the game. I hadn't been extremely entertained with the game in the first place since it is so repetitive but this was the straw that broke the camels back. Also a minor thing I would have overlooked if the gameplay was better but the menu/homebase system is so slow and I found myself wandering around the helicarrier trying to find each individual place to either equip armor or even load up another mission. It's all too complicated and slow. I would just try and play the campaign but it takes up so much time just with explaining how every single mechanic works. To their credit, it is very intricate and although I tried paying attention I still don't fully understand all of it.
    Overall, I really was disappointed with this game, especially because it appeared on the surface to be quite good. The first mission was the highlight of my experience and it was all downhill from there.    … Expand

    This game feels empty and lifeless. I'm not sure why it was made as it was made because it's honestly awful. Idea of Avengers characters in one game is good, but the way they did it doesn't work at all.

    This game is really bad and disappointing.Missions are repetitive and the rpg element doesnt suit a superhero game.Combat also sucks and superheroes feel weak.For example human enemies can block Hulk with a shield lol

    Pour moi le jeu est a refaire de A à Z et retiré la charge a Square Enix ( Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montréal, Crystal Northwest, Nixxes Software) pour le donné a un autre studios qui sauras en faire un jeu digne d'un Marvel's Avengers surtout au niveaux de l'histoire .

    - Apres niveaux point positif :
    - l'IA est pas trop mal
    - on ressent bien la puissance des coup de certains personnage
    - gameplay des perso pas mal pour certains
    - ...

    point négatif :
    - jeu très pauvre
    - beug
    - gameplay et ressentie de certain perso catastrophique
    - histoire très limite et peu travaillé
    - histoire trop courte
    - trop répétitive
    - jeu pas fini
    - gameplay du jeu en général
    - performance
    - loot , farm
    - ...

    Et je donne la note de 4/10 qui est assez généreux meme si il mérité un peu moins selon moi mais sa reste quand meme juste et pour moi il mérite pas plus de 4/10 .
    4/10 c'est la limite qu'on peut donné comme note a ce jeu .    … Expand

    This game is terrible compared despite all of the hype for the game. I have waited for this since September 2019 and when I got it and finished the campaign it was very disappointing. It gets so repetitive as you take control of an area by sitting in a circle or take command posts. Iron Man was sort of cool though. :(

You can see that some moves from the character are identical to Lara Croft in tomb raider. So all the those guys did was copy the old files and put into aWorst game I played my whole life.     As many have said, I can't find any LIFE in this game. Some passion, some originality or some sincerity.
    Anything. Nope. Just bland, lifeless characters in bland, lifeless missions taking place in bland, lifeless levels.

    Also, it's got more bugs than a 3rd world country bathroom.

    please never make this kind of game ever agin Square Enix. Guardians of the Galaxy should be your initial template. It's way better than this one.

    By the way, unbalance unit refund and tons of bugs really drive me crazy. The developer and community try their best way to get rid of their players. They didnt show any respect to their players.     I dont know, ı guess playing mmo rpg. Why do i need to collect items, such a bad game for this budget. The only good thing is that Kamala's character was made into the story. There is also an optimization problem, i'm getting fps drops in some places. If i collect it, it was a terrible production. I hope Square Enix and Marvel never work together again.

    Me lo descargué del game pass y es el peor juego que jugué en mi vida, el combate está bien,pero es lo único que tiene, y el juego además tiene 1000000000000000 pantallas de carga
    Entras a opciones pantalla de carga,vas para atras pantalla de carga,entras a misión principal, pantalla de carga, entras a operaciones ,pantalla de carga , vas a desafios y adivina que...pantalla de carga.    Me lo descargué del game pass y es el peor juego que jugué en mi vida, el combate está bien,pero es lo único que tiene, y el juego además tiene 1000000000000000 pantallas de carga

It was weird to see how much content had to be unlocked through repetitive gameplay or purchasing credits/content. The repetitive gameplay would be more bearable if the levels were more varied with different bosses. I beat the campaign but I do not have an interest in same gameplay experience with different characters or worse different skins. It would be better if they stripped this game down to its core campaign, added the other characters to the main story, and unlocked more content up front or more quickly through combat. You can tell there were some good ideas but this game is bloated and a lot of cool content requires an unreasonable time commitment unless you spend money or simply do not care about the time sink.… Expand

    This game needs to be free. It's the worst **** show i ever played. Really bad gameplay, full of bugs and dead. No one is playing this. It feels exactly like 2005 game where you just mash the buttons. Very repetitive.

    It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

    This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

    There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
