    Copy and pasted game from madden 20 with the bare minimum roster updates. Same glitches, same gameplay, same MUT BS, with new menu screens and new bad music. Face of the franchise is incomplete at launch and severely glitched, and normal franchise mode has received 0 updates. Real disappointment.

    Disgustingly bad. I've played a mobile game for 1 dollar better than this piece of crap. Waste of money. Even the 5 bucks for the trial wasn't worth it. Franchise is untouched as always. Buggy as hell. Don't buy this ass game.

    I'm done playing Madden games. I've been playing Madden ever since Madden 08 on the PS2. 12 years later and this game have not gotten any better, it's even gotten worse. It seems like EA just do not care about the product they put out to customers. NFL should be embarrassed to be represent by EA

    Franchise mode needs to be worked on, it's been far too long. My main complaint is the clunky upgrade mechanics.

    Nothing you haven't seen in Madden 21 if you've played Madden.

    Not realistic at all, franchise mode has been the same forever, literally copy and paste the same game. Yes, there are some gameplay upgrades but that's it. It does feel better but so many glitches come with it.

    Everything wrong with modern gaming, recycled/reused assets (models, animations, cut scenes, etc) next to no improvements compared to older iterations + constant removal of options and features, complete lack of polish, and on top of that, predatory and shameless micro transactions.

    I’m a defender of Madden games every year but this year really is an absolute pile of trash.

    8: A 300 pound defensive lineman gets stiff armed by a 185 pound running back all too frequently but only for the AI
    9: Soundtrack is absolutely horrendous
    10: All in all this is an unfinished product that was shoved out despite all the flaws

    A truly horrendous game that does not represent real football. EA need to either update this rubbish real quick to fix the nightmare they have created or refund all who bought this. Might be worth $20 in total but for the price they charge you would expect so much better    … Expand

    I literally made a account just to give it zero stars, this game is AWFUL, franchise hasn’t been touched for a decade, I couldn’t even get into the yard, ultimate team is a money grab, the player faces are just ugly (like seriously who actually looks like that?), not to mention the gameplay sucks.     As a franchise mode player, there is nothing new at all. Give us customise faces options, give us more face scans, give us off/def coordinators, give options to sign free agents contracts on our terms. Stop investing time in face of the franchise and random game modes like the yard. Please give 2K the license and see what another company could do with this!

    Again madden disappoints... Actual gameplay Physics, Player Technique and Scheme are all inconsistent with the actual game of football. Lack of competition due to EA’s Monopoly on its NFL License , combined with its leaderships Blatant disregard for having pride in their work has let to an unplayable and from this point on un-buyable game!

    The game is terrible and it doesn’t make any sense how the gameplay and features in the game are still even allowed, tolerated, and approved to be released in the year 2020. Something needs to be done. Not just little small updates and patches here a there but a whole new engine, whole new team of developers and test, and even a whole new culture surrounding the making of the game.

    Fix the franchise mode! It is slow and buggy. It still has old glitches. Literally the exact same as last year, and very similar to previous years. The “new” game mode the yard has customization but it is full of micro transactions. Why did ea get a contract extension? They need competition to make the game better.

    Played Madden 13 at release , recently bought 21 on steam . Was surprised when I realised not much had changed over the years . Imagine not changing **** in the last 8 years .

    I mean come on, if you released this game after madden 15 it would have been normal. But it is the same game since madden 16. Absolutely disgusting by ea and no one should by this game as it is a disgrace to football fans.

    Horrible game. Literally copy and paste from previous years with very little change. Not worth the $60, it should be $9.99 DLC/patch update. Very disappointed and now I can’t even return the game. I will be disputing the charges for false work and marketing.

    I have no idea what official game critics are smoking that they can look themselves in the mirror and say, with the utmost belief, that this game (in all of its glorious, magnificent ineptitude) that this game deserved anything more than a big fat 0.

    To call this game a copy and paste of previous Madden titles does a disservice to the command, C, and P keys on my laptop. To call this game a disgrace implies that there was a good name to sully. To call this game anything even resembling functional on release is so offensive to the idea of functionality that my tools have marched themselves out of my tool chest and are now on strike until I retract that comment.

    Where do I even start with this festering turd of a "simulation" game? I put the word "simulation" in the heaviest of quotes because it seems as if the Madden developers were intent on "simulating" American football that more closely resembles what was depicted in "The Waterboy" or Adam Sandy's "The Longest Yard" rather than what we see on Mondays and weekends. Absurd reliance on animations, nothing even resembling dynamic movements, and blatant flaws that encourage players to simply cheese the same 2-3 plays over and over again until you have enough to season a plate of ravioli.

    Sure. Whatever, right? Who cares if a FOOTBALL game is even capable of allowing you to play FOOTBALL. What if I just go to franchise mode, simulate the games and just manage my tea....oh Lord. Oh no, what have they done to my baby?

    They say that Madden, to sports gaming, is like a classic storied name. Something like...Ferrari, or a Mustang.     The Madden series has more than underwhelmed its fans year after year. Madden NFL 21 is no different, outdoing all of its predecessors as it attempts to be the worse game ever released.

    This Is madden 20 with updated Rosters minimal changes to gameplay trying to sell us on X factors and the yard. Not only that but the gameplay is buggy and glitchy and so is the player upgrade screen and making a manual trade wouldn’t let me select a player or pick and had to restart the game for it to work properly again. Haven’t tried any other mode other than Franchise, only other mode I’m considering is Face of theUnless they deliver on their promises for franchise this rating stays terrible. BEYOND upset that I spent $60 plus tax for a roster update for Madden 20. I honestly didn’t think it would be as bad as people were making it out to be, but it actually is. I would refrain from buying this game from a Franchise mode aspect as that’s all I want to truly play. If they actually come through on the updates to franchise then you decide, but until then, DO NOT buy this game from a Franchise mode point of view!… Expand

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
