    It´s a 60$ ( or more) Roster update from Madden 20...Buggy, Glitchy and broken, every year seems more like EA treats Madden ( or your favourite sport franchise like FIFA or NBA) as a Cash Cow, that sells no matter what they release

    games ehh at best... has some solid moments... i still think about nfl 2k5 everyday.. madden went wrong when they implanted MUT and since it makes billions off MUT they stopped fully caring about the gameplay improvments. look forward to 2k21 next yr

    Trash game. They did nothing for Franchise. Terrible gameplay. It's pretty bad when you have to download player made rosters and sliders because the default one is so bad.

    EA sports needs to learn but NEVER will! They dont listen to the people who pay 60$ EVERY YEAR!!!! Instead they grab former athletes and pay them to say that Madden is a “great” game! C’mon man!! Give us all what we want, and the bad reciews will stop i promise :)

    Terrible game. It is madden 20 with a new paint job. Same goal of purely trying to monetize everything in the game. Same lack of focus on any actual improvement. The yard is a cool new feature but, again, it is simply another way for ea to get monetization. Save your money it is not worth it. From the unexplainable drops in frame rate to the stupid glitches, it is a steamy pile of trash.Terrible game. It is madden 20 with a new paint job.     the only new mode is quite literally made to sell even more microtransactions
    the game is full with " madden 20" banners the devopers forgot to change.

    Same game as the last 5, they just copy and paste every single year and charge 60 bucks. The game is just a money grab by EA and the only way to even play ultimate team is if you spend 100s if dollars monthly. Madden has fallen off so bad and it’s clear that EA doesn’t care

    Game is glitchy and has too many unrealistic animations! Kick meter is intermittent and hesitant which makes kicking almost totally avoided. Dbs can intercept ANY pass in their vicinity. Qb release is slow or inaccurate with the pass. And a big nemesis for years: dropped passes! I could continue but a monopolistic company like EA just doesn't care!     This game is a complete mess of bugs and reused graphics from old NFL games that are just plain embarrassing. There was no quality control, which is a shame on EA Sports. And even if it was controlled, it would be even more shameful. Bad work EA.

    Fix Madden Franchise.
    1 week after the release of the game and EA is already talking about how Madden 22 will be the game where they address this issue. The creators have been focusing too much on things like face of the franchise, madden ultimate team, and the yard instead of what most users care about... simulation franchise.

It’s embarrassing and annoying as a madden fan to have to deal with this level of incompetence every year. It’s not like it only happened once, but for the whole console generation? The amount of bugs, glitches, and just downright laziness this game presents itself with is ridiculous.

Everyone needs to chill, do something they like to do and take your mind off the daily stresses. For me I was looking for to madden 21 to help me with that. Just a little and I found myself so mad I broke my game disc in half. I have never seen so many glitches in a video game in my life. Especially a game I have been playing since 94.     I remember how great this game use to be. Its the same game from the last 5 6 years at least. Its Glitchy, slow and buggy menus. Its the sNs exact game play its just a cooy and last mess. You could at least bring back FRANCHISE MODE already. All they focus on is that stupid card game to make money from dummies willing to pay .

    Atrocious game. The Madden series has not seen the innovation since Madden 18. Every year they wheel out the same product with literally just a roster update and new uniforms. It's incredibly frustrating that lack of innovation or effort that is now being put into the Madden series

It is incredible that I l skipped 4 years and they deliver a worse game that the one I had years ago. Madden 21 is without any significant improvements, same problems, they recycle the same game, take features out, add a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with football. Not to mention thatI don't buy the game every year, the last game I bought was Madden 17 and still it disappoint me. It is incredible that I l skipped 4 years and they deliver a worse game that the one I had years ago. Madden 21 is without any significant improvements, same problems, they recycle the same game, take features out, add a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with football. They charge you upfront for a full game, and then lock everything behind microtransactions and packs that cost more and give you less than a season pass. DO NOT BUY this garbage would recommend any NFL from 2010 and older those games have more features in there practice mode then the whole tire game combined. And then you retire and after all your hard work theres just a note that pops up saying 'cool dude' and then it exits you out. In this years new and improved version, you'll get to play two games a year and surpass Tom Bradys legacy after answering a couple interview questions. Franchise mode is the same. Animations for games are the same. The new intros show highlights of the game before its even played because im not sure they know how football works. Franchise mode is exactly the same except worse with all the stupid glitches. It really looks like nothing else is new in this game. They spent the year making the screen blue. How dope. Im overwhelmed with how how bad it is. I could go on about everything else but just listen to everyone else. Everything bad is true. I don't want to waste my breathe anymore on EA.… Expand

    These “new” and “innovative” additions are nothing but watered down attempts to appease the community. I won’t be blinded by nostalgia, 2K 5 was not perfect but what game comes without flaws? The only difference is that these last few years of Madden games are riddled with flaws.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Everyone is saying it’s the same game year in and year out. That simply not true. It’s getting worse and worse. This year the face of the franchise is supposed to be a big selling point. You go in with a lame storyline that is predetermined no matter what you do. I threw nine touchdowns coming off a super bowl win. My player is 27 years old with a 95 overall rating yet I’m fighting for my starting job with a quarterback who’s six years older and has a 75 overall rating. It still glitches worse than ever. My player will be running and trip his own self up. The commentary is awful. The same prerecorded garbage over and over for year. If you break a record it’s not even acknowledged. This game is pure crap and ea could not care less. They have a monopoly on the nfl so they know fans are just gonna keep buying it hoping it’s gonna get better. Every since they added mut it’s went down hill because they only care about the micro transactions. This game will not get better until the monopoly is over. It needs competition.… Expand

    I've been buying Madden for the past 5 years but I had enough. It's just the same things year round , too many glitches and the gameplay feels the same from last year's ,they try adding small things like choosing your own TD celebration etc but who cares if the gameplay is trash and the presentation is same. EA just wants to keep making money !

    It’s honestly just the same game as last year with a different cost of paint. You can even find old assets from the last game in this newest one like before. It’s not worth 60 dollars nor 50 or 40 and shouldn’t even be sold as a newest entry on its own. Like I mentioned before, same game but with a few new changes.

    This is a disaster. I paid $60 for a game that is literally copy and paste from the last four years, with a few major exceptions. And these exceptions are even worse as they are simply more aggressive monetization schemes. Avoid this game at ALL costs.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
