    I don't have a ps5 yet and i want it to play this game so i picked it up and let me tell you its is amazing On ps4 its almost Identical to the ps5 version i like the story i think its better then the first one for sure i didn't had no bugs when i played the game and Haven't seen none yet but That's it

    Jogo é incrivel, o mundo, os ambientes vivos, com os animais, maquinas, as plantas, o ambiemte subaquatico, fora os graficos e a historia q alem de melhor q HZD, aprofunda muito o conveito do jogo, uma aula, principalmente essa versao de ps4

    Es un excelente juego, gráficamente lo mejor que existe en la actualidad, buena historia, mejora muchas cosas del primer juego, lo recomiendo mucho para las personas que le gustan los juegos de mundo abierto.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Hasta ahora es un muy buen juego que se disfruta y te deja sin aire al observar su entorno. Tiene algunos problemas a la hora de que los enemigos se quedan quietos (en ocasiones, no es algo que me haya encontrado en los momentos donde volví al universo) y es fácil vencerlos. Esto corta el rollo de estar en un combate frenético, esquivando los embistes enemigos a como de lugar. También hay ocasiones donde Aloy se queda quieta o se repiten animaciones, otro problema que no corta la hora de juego (pero si inquieta a la vista) es el constante “popping” que tienen las cinemáticas. Desde el principio que me encontré con este problema, sin embargo espero que con un parche para arreglar bugs se elimine este problema. Puede mejorar, eso está seguro, aunque por ahora va casi excelente.… Expand

    The game is pretty average. Technologically, the game is of a high level, however, like all PS games. The gameplay of the game is again typical for all PS games of the last 5-10 years. The plot is also lacking stars from the sky. Compared to books, Horizon is a light read that you buy to kill time on a long drive.

    Great game play, beautiful world and fun! Definitely a ps5 showcase! Crazy how these xbot fan boys are review bombing guess with all the game pass games they still don't have anything to play.

    I'm extremely impressed and grateful for the optimization Guerrilla did in this game to work as it does. Of course it's not perfect, there's fog in places where it shouldn't and textures take time to render, but it's still super enjoyable and it's giving me a lot of fun and happiness

The main problem is the character designs. Almost everybody looks bland or distractingly unattractive.     So far, this is my game of the year. It's a beautiful mix of Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2. A must see.

    On ps4 really bad perfomance. FPS drops, objects and textures loading right in front of your nose.
    All environment is so blurry, hard to see any objects from distance.
    And i dont say any thing about entourage of the game.
    Some character presentation is so stupid and uninspiring.
    Not bad game, but nothing special

    If you liked the first game you'll love this. Improves on everything that was great about the first game and fixes everything that was wrong with it, I can't think of a single problem I have with it. No filler and the side quests are fun and unique.

    But on PS4, this is near Cyperpunk broken. Lags, stutters, framerate issues, objects and textures popping into existence nearly ever second. At least every 5 second, an object or a texture is popping.
    This game is no way near representative of what Sony have showed on their official YouTube channel, that is false    I'm sure this game is a near perfect masterpiece on PS5. No doubt.

    Besides the technical issues... the game turns up on "wokeness". Aloy's face has gotten wider and much more masculine. She is not looking cute anymore, now she looks like a dude. She also acts much more like a dude, being masculine and demanding, and bossing around with the men in the game. So Aloy nows:
    Looks like a man
    Acts like a man

    And the other men in the game now:
    Acts like females/beta-males
    Taking orders from a woman
    Talking to a woman like she is a goddess and a leader and an alpha.

    Besides that the game pushed propaganda near constantly:
    "God is dead"
    "There is no God"
    "Space is real"
    "Space travel is real"
    "The solar system is heliocentric"
    "Only stupid people believe in geocentrism"

    We have seen this time and time again from Sony games, and it's a shame, why politics and lies have to be mixed in...

    This letdown combined with PS5 stock problems.... I THINK I MIGHT GO FULL XBOX SOON

    Игра в графическом плане стала значительно лучше первой части. Так же были улучшены дополнительные задания, лицевая анимация, ближний бой. Добавили много нового оружия и много видов брони. Из не приятных моментов погрузка текстур и задержка появления значков при открытии карты. В целом разработчики проделали хорошую работу и улучшили все проблемные моменты оригинала.Игра в графическом плане стала значительно лучше первой части. Так же были улучшены дополнительные задания, лицевая анимация, ближний бой. Добавили много нового оружия и много видов брони.     I hate this 0 or 10 toxic nonsense. This is not a good or bad game it's a good game with bad elements like most games and most things in life. The good are the graphics and the core gameplay. As well as the sound and art style. On ps5 it looks nice. The new robots are neat.

The characters are better than the first forgettable ones but still awful. Elements of the new gameplay ate fussy and overly complicated or grindy at times. There are few new dinosaurs and instead lots of issues especially the older ps4. The cost of the game as many paid more for less. Possibly some of the ingame politics and the gross Sony tree planting scheme whicb admirable is a joke compared to their overall c02 output as a company. Lack of any innovation or risks or new ideas of note.

    It might look like there is more complaints but in the grand scheme of things they only stop a good game being great again. If you liked the original it's more of the same. But if you have a choice or just played the original then I recommend you start with that and the excellent dlc.

    This Game is awesome!! You Start the story with a plague destroying everything, so Aloy must find a copy of Gaia to restore the life creating process. The grapplinghook was a Nice upgrade un Aloy's inventory. You can unblock paths and climb high places. This is a must play. Also I love Rosalba Sotelo's voice for the character. Great job, Guerrilla!!

    This game is masterpiece on PS4. I'm a big fan of Zero Dawn , but first game have had some issues.
    But Forbidden West fixes these problems at all , and adds a lot of new content. Optimization on PS4 very well , graphics is awesome, Face animations are beautiful , Guerilla made a lot of work, but ps4 version have some problems with textures.So i'm playing with enjoy in my heart , I    This game is masterpiece on PS4. I'm a big fan of Zero Dawn , but first game have had some issues.

    A sequel to one of my favorite games on the PS4. So OF COURSE I had to get this game. And the fact that I saved $10 and having access to both PS5 AND PS4 versions, like of course I need to get the PS4 version. Anyways the game itself. I'm only like an hour into the game so my opinion will change overtime so here's my first hour impression. Feels like the Horizon I know and love. CollectingA sequel to one of my favorite games on the PS4. So OF COURSE I had to get this game. And the fact that I saved $10 and having access to both PS5 AND PS4 versions, like of course I need to get the PS4 version. Anyways the game itself. I'm only like an hour into the game so my opinion will change overtime so here's my first hour impression. Feels like the Horizon I know and love. Collecting anything I see (Ridge Woods, Medicinal Items, Storage cache, etc.), killing every machine, climbing that for some reason uses yellow handholds, etc etc. First time using the DualSense with this game and heck yeah it's impressive tho I hope it doesn't get old. As for the story....I honestly can't catch up since it was a year since I've played Zero Dawn so it's important to play the first game before jumping into Forbidden West. Overall I'm having a good time. Just hoping I finish this game before Gran Turismo 7 releases in 2 weeks.… Expand

    first tutorial. And the map is filled with detail and hidden treasures, so its true pleasure to explore.
    The combat is just as solid as ever, although some of the unlockable skills and abilities are bit iffy. Puzzles and platforming challenges are even better than in the first game too. And    Good news first; the game looks gorgeous on PS4Pro, once you get past the rather bland looking
    first tutorial. And the map is filled with detail and hidden treasures, so its true pleasure to explore.
    The combat is just as solid as ever, although some of the unlockable skills and abilities are bit iffy. Puzzles and platforming challenges are even better than in the first game too. And I've not encountered a single bug.
    Only negative thing about Forbidden West is the negative vibe the game has. Aloy too, is rather sarcastic and cold when compared to Aloy in the first game. And so are many of the people Aloy meets on her journey. And this negativity and 'maturity' is something that puts me off when compared to the happy trails of the first game.
    Still, that moan aside, definitely worth getting for PS4Pro. Just be prepared for a very long tutorial. There are two tutorial areas you have to play thru before the main map opens up, and it takes hours to trudge thru them. (took me around seven hours). But persevere and you'll eventually get to the good stuff.    … Expand

The lowest rating I could see this game fairly getting from a subjective review is a 7 maybe 6. Anything else lower in these user reviews is completely bogus and should be deleted. This game is easily one of the best if not the best open world game ever made. So beautiful, so much to do. Ironically one of the only downsides I can think of is how overwhelming everything is. There is so much to do and learn that you might stress out over where to start. At every level it is a better and deeper game than horizon zero dawn was. If that game deserves an 8.4 user score, this one deserves an 8.9 or higher. I just left the daunt which is technically the secondary tutorial section and I’ve played for over a dozen hours. There’s just so much to explore and do. The tower climbing side tasks are better off left for when you get a flying mount though.. those can be a bit DAUNTing and monotonous if not for the gorgeous scenery. There’s also a lot of settings that fix many of the superficial or ridiculous issues some reviewers are bringing up.     The porting is excellent. I can recommend the PS4 version.
    For the game, unsurprisingly, it is much better than the first one. Everything is better.

    The gameplay is a blast, and the characters are much more deep than the first game, stunning graphics and a lot of things to do, one of the most impressive titles on ps4 by far, I'm having a lot of fun with this game, and angry jealous Xbox people can go eat some popcorn in hell!

    Very bad graphics and optimization, constant bugs with stuck in textures, constant loading of textures.

    It more looks like not second part, but for how the first part should have looked, finally they slightly corrected the animation of the faces and stopped being so stupid.

    The game is much better then I ever expected it to be. So much fun that I am 10 hours in and still not crossed into the forbidden west. Doing everything 100% on ultra hard and having much fun :)

    The game has so many details in details and never saw something like this in a linear game, so other open world games can not even compete.

    I knew Horizon Forbidden West was gonna be a special game, but I didn’t expected to be this good. I think that the story is more interesting than Zero Dawn. I really like it. The environment is breath taking, I love exploring and getting lost in this huge world. The characters are realistic in their looks, voice and behavior. Gameplay and combat are really good. A lot improvements whereI knew Horizon Forbidden West was gonna be a special game, but I didn’t expected to be this good. I think that the story is more interesting than Zero Dawn. I really like it.     There’s nothing wrong with learning from your competitors, but what’s the point of copying stuff that’s mocked even by Ubisoft fans? Hopefully, next time Guerrilla will focus more on Horizon’s own strengths: unique world and mechosaurs that are so fun to take apart. [Issue#259, p.72]

    If you liked Zero Dawn, you will probably enjoy Forbidden West, even though the sequel lost that pioneering spirit and Aloy stopped developing as a character.
