    Lustiger Shooter mit guter Grafik. Leider ist die KI grausam schlecht. Auch die Zerrstörbarkeit der Umgebung ist im Vergleich mit z.B. Far Cry 2 schwach. Far Cry 5 existiert.... man spielt es und vergisst es danach.

    Far Cry 5 is the first FarCry game I've been playing since Far Cry 1 on PC because I like the idea of fighting some weird and crazy Catholic cult in the US ... And it was the best experience in FarCry series... Much more complex map, great location of Montana based world, good visual look and fun gameplay with companions, fishing and prepper stashes, Arcade mode... But on the other handFar Cry 5 is the first FarCry game I've been playing since Far Cry 1 on PC because I like the idea of fighting some weird and crazy Catholic cult in the US ... And it was the best experience in FarCry series... Much more complex map, great location of Montana based world, good visual look and fun gameplay with companions, fishing and prepper stashes, Arcade mode... But on the other hand there is a bunch of imperfections which we are used to in Ubisoft games.. like small amount of weapons to use, no dificulty cause enemies are very dumb, lengthy and quite stupid story, your main hero is void and without character, very unconvincing ending.... So for me, yeah, it's worth the money but after you finish it, there are no things that will force you to play it again, except of few hours in Arcade mode ... Final rating is 7/10.… Expand

    I really wanted to enjoy this game, took the day off work and all. But No. The main issue is that you are never more than a couple feet from an enemy. They start fighting you and a hundred men come over, planes cars boats helicopters (no helicopters) . There is no way of just going from one objective to the other because all the beef you just can't relax and the game itself is just not good.

    The story alone is all that saves this game from a poor rating. After Ubisoft made a big deal about changing everything in their repetitive series nothing changed, the setting was promising but never delivered, The encounters with each cult member became repetitive and lazy.     To hard to drive cars and motocycles, the game is too dificult( i play in medium and i usualy die 3 times in each mission playing like a normal person and the history of the game is horrible. The only thing that saves the game is the good graphics.

    Am I the only one that was incredibly disappointed by this game? This was my first (and last) time playing a game in this series. The missions were super repetitive, the combat was awful, all guns felt the exact same, story was absurd, and everything just felt so scripted, the world might be open but the missions couldn’t be more linear and predictable. Truly awful game.

За удачно пройденные испытания пользователь получает очки, которые можно потратить на приобретение для персонала новых способностей, их улучшения. А за деньги можно приобретать все, что угодно (оружие, модификации к оружию, одежда, автомобиль, самолет и тд) - это одна из причин, почему хочется проходить все больше и больше заданий. Если говорить о донате с "экономией времени", как это любят Ubisoft - тут конечно такое присутствует в виде "серебряных слитков", однако все предметы покупаются легко без доната.

    Мультиплеер:
    Основным преимуществом Far Cry 5 стала возможность проходить игру в компании с другом. Подобная возможность была еще в FC4, но там мультиплеер был сильно ограничен. Если говорить кратко, то игра становится намного интереснее при игре с другом.

    Звук/Саундтрек:
    Большое разнообразие музыкальных композиций самых разных жанров — жуткие сцены становятся еще более пугающими, а во время веселых миссий включаются задорные треки. К локализации тоже трудно придраться.

    Итог:
    Великолепное продолжение серии. Far Cry 5 сохранила достоинства предшественниц и отлично подкорректировала формулу — выглядит и ощущается свежо.    … Expand

    Just a preliminary review but so far it totally feels outdated, (world) graphics are nice but the way the non player characters act and move just is not up to par. (enemy's most of the time don't even notice you until you're right up to shoot them in the face) And when you see exactly the same character every fifth enemy I'm done! This is totally ridiculous in 2018 Ubisoft!     In the end i'm disappointed with Far Cry 5, the bar has been raised much higher these days.

But the core gameplay ruins much of the fun you could be having, by including instant death animations by someone jumping on your head by a meter higher in elevation, explosions being OP, one-shot headshots leaving lower fire rate weapons already at a disadvantage, etc, etc...

    If you are playing with a friend sure you could have fun for maybe at most 6 hours before realizing how deep this game isn't.    … Expand

    I honestly can't comprehend how much of a mess this game is. Incredibly glitchy, to the point where it's infuriating and numerous players have had to restart the entire game (including myself) due to random mission glitches (and not just one particular mission, numerous missions can cause this).

Seems like Ubisoft was trying to make the game extra exciting but instead they made it painful to play, you walk/drive/swim anywhere and are guaranteed you will be attacked. You can't drive down a road without a passing car spotting you after 10 seconds and then hunting you down. You can't walk through a field without a random AI trying to gun you down. You can't even bloody go fishing without a skunk/snake biting at your balls.
    The game itself is just a mess. So unpolished. The characters are incredibly dull and boring. AI are moronic for a 2018 game. The story is lackluster. Voice acting is poor. Controls are poor. They've done nothing to better the game from the previous. The ranking system is trash. Ubisoft putting in in-game purchases pretty much says it all.

    I used to love Far Cry games, but after this one, I'm never buying another. Never felt this way about a game before, absolute trash. Positive the game review sites have just been paid off to give this thing 80%. Please avoid for your own sanity.    … Expand

    The mechanics and perk system are amazing. Seriously, they are great.
    The followers you gain are useful...but to an extent of ai. The enemy AI is laughably stupid.

    Big deception: cannot play in coop from start to the end with a friend because the guest does NOT save any progression! Even smallest studios give this feature...

    Fantastic game! Can't understand the issue people have with micro-transactions, haven't even considered using them, I'm too busy fishing! Fishing in itself is better than most fishing games...

    Great characters, exceptional animation of voice acting which is also excellent. Really immersive. The combat is the best it's been. Stealth or full on battles, play how you like.     The combat is the best it's been. Stealth or full on battles, play how you like.

    Great story. Some may not like it as it pokes at a few politicians, but hey, it's a game and it's blooming great fun so why so serious, people?

    All of my annoyances in the last game have gone. Climbing is better and there are less impassable 3 foot high rocks than ever :)

    1. You get kidnapped/drugged 9 times.
    2. You can't drive the slowest cars I've ever seen in a game 50 feet without an animal or friendly running out into the road, or getting shot at.
    3. The airplanes/helicopters troll you more than the dragons did in Skyrim.
    4. Most of the weapons are just reskins. There's maybe 10 guns in the game.
    5. The ending is terrible. After a short 30 hour or so campaign you would have been better off just walking away at the beginning.    … Expand

For me this game is Far Cry 3 v1.2 like with better graphics, the bad guy who is crazy but he believe that is doing right things which we have in far cry 3, 4 and bla bla bla.     Big world, big characters and Big Sky Country. Ubisoft have successfully made open world less tedious in a game that takes all the good stuff from the previous Far Cry games and makes it better.     Don't listen to the trolls. if you like even one of the last four Far Cry main series games, you will love this!

    Final thoughts: You can run around a fictional Montana wilderness with a bear named Cheeseburger and cougar named Peaches, together, as your hunting companions, and they will lick you back alive when you get blown up too much.    … Expand

    Great graphics and an interesting story. The map is absolutely huge which is nice and the open world let's you play and explore the game at your own pace. Overall, it's a great game. A must buy in my opinion especially if you enjoyed other entries in the Far Cry series.

Driving controls are better this time around but flying controls are just… ugh. I’d rather have Ghost Recon Wildlands’ helicopter controls over FC5’s. Also, I must say I did NOT like how the game would force you into story missions each time you'd- Gameplay was pretty solid, though it felt like there were too few gun types per category. SMGs had like 3 variants of the MP5, for example. Driving controls are better this time around but flying controls are just… ugh. I’d rather have Ghost Recon Wildlands’ helicopter controls over FC5’s. Also, I must say I did NOT like how the game would force you into story missions each time you'd reach a new resistance level, especially since doing so could make you miss main story missions if something untoward happened to a quest NPC during the forced story event.

    - Soundtrack was fantastic. I really appreciated the hand crafted hymnals which were created specifically for Eden's Gate and the ambient Americana music while exploring fit very well.

    - John Seed’s story arc was probably the best of the three because it fit the crazy cult story line the closest. Faith Seed and Jacob Seed were essentially the same mindscrew, except one used drugs and the other used psychological conditioning. Neither were really interesting, IMO. I would have preferred they stuck with the crazy cult concept for Jacob and left Faith as the only character with metaphysical elements.

    - Fishing was on point and I spent too much time fishing. Hunting, conversely, was just a boring exercise. If I didn't HAVE to do it, I didn't bother. It was easy enough to earn money from side missions and fishing to the point where hunting wasn't really necessary.

    - Graphically, much like Guerrila Games did with Horizon a year ago, Ubisoft really nailed the Rocky Mountain west. The terrain, rivers, flora and fauna - all very well done and makes Hope County Montana a very believable and interesting location.

    - Far Cry Arcade has potential but right now there’s limited curation meaning most of the maps you get are pretty weak. Hopefully it gets better as more assets are added and people get more time behind the map creator.

    - And finally, the ending(s) were absolutely awful. I realize "Far Cry Ending is Bad" has practically become a meme at this point but these endings doubled down on that and went almost Mass Effect 3 levels of bad. I can't really go into detail here without spoilers but the endings were so disappointing that they soured my entire view of the game and makes me not want to play it again. I'm knocking a full point off the score for this fact alone.

    All in all, decent. But part of me wishes I had just rented it instead.    … Expand

    Visually and sound wise, it is beautiful and runs smoothly on the PS4. But it is repetitive and the endings are all complete bummers. It is Mass Effect 3 redux.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Has decent graphics, not good, for this generation. Most of my play sessions had at least one bug that killed a quest or was just generally annoying.

    The sound design is great, though.

    There is almost no variation in guns, and most of them are the same, so there is no point.

    Characters are pretty fun, except the 'villains'. They're just annoying, talking way too much when my character is the most passive waste of a main character when they're not shooting stuff.

    Most of the gameplay is fun (in the absence of bugs), but one particular boss fight forces you through very bad airplane controls to fight another plane and it's just frustrating. And there is no satisfaction of killing them because the game is too enamored with them to allow the main character to overcome them. You kill one of these **** and the game turns it on you as if you're the bad person. Because torture, drugging and brainwashing is now acceptable, apparently. This is all because of the sewage that is called 'story' with this game.

    The real problem is with the story, then. Turns out that the evil **** kidnaping people, drugging them, stealing, destroying property, abusing animals, torturing people, was right all along, and the only way to get a half good ending is to not play the game, giving up before the end of the prologue. And that is assuming that it's not all just in vain because of an asspull of a plot twist of nuclear weapons being detonated. In Montana. The obvious implication being that Joseph was right, actually had prophesized the future, was protected by God, and... I don't know. Nothing makes any sense in that ending to the point there are people theorizing it's a hallucination because of the drugs the guy dumps on the ground before the final fight. Makes more sense than the actual story...

    It's said that there are signs of it all over, like the radio, that I never listened to because every time I was on a car, there were murderous cultists crawling up my ass, trying to kill me or one of Joseph's lieutenants spewing their **** all over again, as if you're supposed to feel bad for playing the game. And that is when the NPCs weren't bugging and repeating their lines over and over.

    What a piece of **** So, I guess this is games now. A story that punishes you for playing the game. How about people punish Ubisoft for terrible writing by not playing their games? People complained of Mass Effect 3, but in that game, you didn't lose, even though you had won. People complained of Mass Effect: Andromeda, but at least, the whole gameplay isn't pointless because the villain wasn't right all along. People complained about ET, way back in the Atari 2600, but at least the story wasn't a pointless waste of time!    … Expand

    Besides that the game gets way to chaotic, it won't give you a moment to look at the scenery or landscapes. The AI might be the dumbest i've witnessed since Call of Juarez, the Cartel.

One quest I had to park a car and because I parked it a little far away from the quest giver I couldn’t finish’s the quest and thr game would not let me in the truck again to move it so I had to replay the entire quest about 5 times from the beginning. Save games should be user initiatedFind this to be very poor in gameplay and story us almost non existent. Can’t play stealth or strategy. One quest I had to park a car and because I parked it a little far away from the quest giver I couldn’t finish’s the quest and thr game would not let me in the truck again to move it so I had to replay the entire quest about 5 times from the beginning.     A super fun game to play. This game is absolute worth your time. The story is interesting, and the game is overall very well developed. All from music to shooting works perfectly, and the setting and graphics are wonderful. This game is absolute worth playing if you enjoy this game series.

    Farcry 5 looks awesome, has great visuals and has a lot of attention to detail. The trees, animals, roads buildings, characters look awesome. Water effects are great and weather is out of this world. Sometimes when you are on planes it looks kinda blurry but I think that's in part of what happens on the ground when you are flying.

    The game-play loop was pretty fun; the story wasn't very good, but I wasn't expecting it to be; my biggest gripe is the game breaking bug that traps you in an infinite credits loop after the final mission (still managed to hit it after patch 01.04).

    The game is so empty, generic, hordes of enemies on the map with maximum 5 models of enemies, nonsense missions where you can finish the game just doing side missions which doesn't make any sense. Cutscenes are the only good in this game and your companions, everything else is already seen. Don't waste your money, I got it for 18$ and I'll survive.

The map is not cluttered with the confusing cluster of icons so locating specific objectives or points of interests is a lot easier.
    Far Cry 5 is not without its faults. Micro-transactions have made their way into yet another modern video game. Thankfully, these are not required to enjoy the game. They do, however, make themselves blatantly noticed in a few of the menus. There is one major gripe I have about the game’s currency. Silver bars are the game’s secondary form of currency used to purchase clothing, weapons, and ammunition. Although, these items are mostly cosmetic and can be earned by playing the game and with earned in-game money, there is still something that feels wrong about this. First off, they have a stupid picking system where only the most brain dead people in earth can write a review and they let 5 people pick; and yet while I wait in lobbies for several god awful matches I still can never pick and only the retards who pick the worst maps can. Even the ‘featured’ maps which aren’t made by Ubisoft themselves are pretty horrible and the gameplay is SOOO bad. After going through and getting into a lobby with a bunch of idiots who spam the remote explosives (like Bo2’s C4’s except Bo2 multiplayer was actually fun, than you’ll find there’s no load out customization and that you spawn with a stupid secondary rather than a primary weapon. The melee weapons are so unbalanced and there’s a Ubisoft published map that has stupid modifiers in a MULTIPLAYET game; its not a fun mode like mike Myers or something; there’s INFINITE AMMO, along with a bunch of other **** So everybody just picks the remote explosives and you don’t get any negatives for dying so people can just suicide bomb and they only get a positive. The matches last for WAYYY to long and there’s no action or fun moments; 10minutes and 100killd to win for a sluggish boring mode, with no balancing, customization, and the absolutely retarded takedown system where on the FFA wizard fetaured map you just get killed by the hacker who can takedown 5 people and sustain 12 melee hits while he 1 shots you. Not only did they make the new takedown system completely unfun and frustrating but WHY in the multiplayer. There’s no balancing, a cesspool of **** unbalanced, 1 minute to make maps that these idiots actually vote for and they just use the most unfun **** long loading ones, obnoxious player base, and horrible gameplay, they didn’t change anything from the campaign and therefore there’s no balancing and it’s all just thrown in with no thought. This game doesn’t deserve any praise and the campaign got repetitive and the ‘bunker’/bliss **** got so obnoxious and unfun. The only good thing at the beginning was some somewhat fun side missions and the ending. The arcade mode was tacked on and if you buy this game in the hopes of getting extra playtime you will be THIROUGHLY dissapointed. Game of The Year my ass… Expand

But sadly, some things here and there weren't pleasant in my opinion. Sometimes the game is deep and entertaining, other times it is painful and no sense. And it seems to me that the game drives you to get some extra "strenght", we can call it, with real money, so you can complete some situations with more semplicity and less time. And in conclusion, the finals are... so disappointing. It made me think that all my patience, all my efforts and time put in this game were useless, although everything I did.     This game is made very well and it's one of Ubisoft's best open worlds they have made. I wished they would have added changes to the core mechanics instead of using the same thing like in every other Far Cry game, but other than that this game was really good. You can have fun with friends in Arcade there is great DLC to have fun in. This game offers a lot than other titles in the franchise!

    Simply unplayable for me. Way way too many enemies. How Ubisoft thought that this would be fun to play is beyond me. Really wish that there was an option to turn down the spawning of hostile npc's. Unfortunately there is not and therefore not enjoyable.

I feel that Ubisoft is one of the few AAA game makers that gives you a lot of content in the core game so you don't feel cheated (looking at you Activision & EA). The addition of being able to play co-op is great or use one of the characters in the game to back you up. Its awesome!!! Now I get to share the fun with a friend all the way through the story and it adds replay value when helping a buddy with missions you have already completed. I can't wait to see what else Far Cry 5 has in store as I progress through the game. No I am not in the game industry, I am just a gamer and appreciate a good game when one comes along.… Expand

    I love this series, I have enjoyed them all, tons of a fun in a big open sand box. A lot of people complain about the story from iteration to iteration but I've never thought any of the stories were that great I just enjoy roaming the maps and doing side objectives and always have a great time.

It puts the whole world in another perspective. A perspective that we in the real world should consider could actually be for the better. As it's maybe how it always was supposed to be before we created what earth is today. A place we created, soon a place we destroyed. Joseph was actually trying to do the right thing. The thing no one dares to do or speak loud about. He was trying to save the human race from ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I'm not insane. But life is precious and I'm not sure we have as much time as we think we have left to appreciate this beautiful gift we've been given. Because in the end, we will all die under the same feet of our own race. Just because we didn't have faith in each other. And of the cause, the ending is supposed to hit you this way. It's simply there to make you feel stupid because all the effort you went through with killing endless amount of people who actually just tried to save us from extinction is surely something that goes against ''gods will''.     Gameplay is great and I actually enjoyed the story. Ignore any people complaining about it being too political from either side of the spectrum. Some people are mad because it's not political enough or it's too political. People are dumb.

    This is by far the best Far Cry,Ive played every one and this is amazing. Its damn near perfect.     Great So far. About 8 hours in. I cant wait to get back to playing. I have so many games in my backlog to start and finish and i cant wait to get back to this game. Its fun. thats it. its just fun.

    Magnificent.Though a few old favourite elements of mine are gone (poker,skinning animations,some hunting and crafting elements,weapon deg etc),the series really needed a revamp.The new mission structure is excellent,as is the fantastic characters and acting.I was initially hestitant regarding the setting,but now it's difficult to believe it could be set anywhere else.Everything fits like aMagnificent.Though a few old favourite elements of mine are gone (poker,skinning animations,some hunting and crafting elements,weapon deg etc),the series really needed a revamp.The new mission structure is excellent,as is the fantastic characters and acting.I was initially hestitant regarding the setting,but now it's difficult to believe it could be set anywhere else.Everything fits like a glove and I loved the story,which surprised me.The Seed family being particulary great.Co-op is a real highlight.Playing with a friend is probably the best thing about FC5,and sharing the experience with another person should be a feature in many games of this nature.From the beginning of the game,even though the game mildy guides you,simply pick a direction and go for it.Craft your own experience...It looks and feels awesome and time flies by while playing.I would like a harder,survivalist type difficulty and live in FC5 for some time,with more repercussions for dying.Other than that,it's a ten for mine.… Expand

    Best in the series. Full of fun and the arcade mode (which is free) adds in lots of extra hours.. unlimited basically. Perfect game and the graphics are amazing.

    Gorgeous graphics with an amazing setting. Excellent Map editor and PVP to keep you busy even though you already completed the main story, waiting patiently for Far Cry 3 Classic Edition Far Cry 5 is a great game, coming from a great gaming company. Thank You Ubisoft!

    Realy the best Far Cry, i don't know why grade is so low. Ubisoft have worked on many mistakes. The game looks fresh, and at the same time in a friendly way recognizable. Like GTA 5 in it's time.

There is one really bad assett in game the boxes of apples look like ps1 apples really weird. Maybe its a joke bad apples i dunno. Great story with interesting characters and some really touching moments. Shooting feels life like never before, so does enemies trying to shoot in you "gods justice". I never felt as pumped with adrenalin playing a Far Cry game as whenAgain amazing effort from ubisoft and after unconvincing Primal yet another Far Cry bomb.     Second: The story is different, and you do have to forgive some things to be immersed. Like, why is the army not showing up etc. I get that it is a little bit goofy. The writing could have been a bit better as well. However, this is not a story driven game, rather a game where you create the story by your actions and how you play. That is the point of Far Cry in my opinion. An open world where the most memorable moments are from the things that happen because you decided to go left and climb a mountain, then go right and blow some dudes up as your cougar trashes enemies too.

    To sum up, I would say that it is a beautiful game, with plenty to do, memorable side missions (very important to me), memorable characters, and a whole lot of sandbox fun! The story is a little off, but that is overshadowed by how many times I hear my girlfriend say "that was crazy!" while I am playing.
    Play it for yourself. Rent it. Borrow a copy. Trust me, it is worth it.    … Expand

I am glad to see that after they took a step back with FarCry 4, they are going in the right direction again. And I havent even played the Arcade Mode with the Level-Editor.     The best ubisoft game, and perhaps the best Far Cry. I had more fun in this game than in Far Cry 3. The Characters were interesting, the villains were likeable, even understandable to a point. They have very well mixed in the supernatural elements from the other Far Cry titles. Apart from the story everything else was also fantastic. A few annoyances such as not being able to fast travelThe best ubisoft game, and perhaps the best Far Cry. I had more fun in this game than in Far Cry 3.     -still no fire on grass
    -random generated maps not great or some particulary usable (forest)
    -no capture the flag/diamond mode would have been awesome! preying everynight it will come in an update !
    -6 v 6 max seems a little small compared to previous iterations
    -when you delete an object it highlights the next object so you accedently move stuff (this is a nightmare if your editing houses or underground)
    -item groupings, would like a search button or a favorites list there is a lot of map building items this would really help
    -unlimited ammo is also unlimited grenades the two should be different

    overall if you like the multiplayer its worth it there is already some great player content out there, well done ubi :)    … Expand

    Solid game. The game play is almost identical to that of Far Cry 4, with some minor tweaks. The soundtrack is amazing and the environment and dialogue is cheeky and campy which makes it even more fun. It does have some underlying serious tones, however. All-in-all, this is the same as Far Cry 4 but in a different area of the world with a different story.

    Absolutely love it but incredibly disappointed that the gold edition I bought hasn’t got Far Cry 3 classic ready to play until Summer 2018. Very cunning from Ubisoft this. But the game is awesome.

    The story is good, but gameplay mechanics feel outdated. The wheel selection is absolutely horrible containing several sub choices inside the wheel. I enjoy it, but I expected much better!

    Incredible, from beginning to end. Immersive graphics and atmosphere coupled with great music and gameplay come together to make this my favorite Far Cry game to date, and one of my favorite games of 2018 so far. Must have for a Far Cry fan and those even slightly interested shouldn't be disappointed here. Great job by the developers and looking forward to future releases.

    First off i will start off by saying this game has one of the greatest openings ever!!! The story and characters are very well written. The sounds and graphics are top notch. My only complaint is the multiplayer is hit or miss but as the weeks even months go on i hope players will create wonderful maps to play on.

    This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 established itself as one of the best in the series, The game features some gorgeous scenery, an engaging story and the overall story is great fun and the theme is very realistic. The game mixes up the missions so it doesn't get repetitive halfway through the game. Far Cry 5 is a great entry to the series for newbies and veterans alike.
