    Removing the best Far Cry features, Far Cry 5 brings the series to a "generic FPS" state, which you are nobody and your only objective is to blow some heads. It has no narrative, storyline or character development, although it tries to address some deep themes. A really disappointing experience. However, it is a pretty fun, uncommitted shooter, with beautiful landscapes, which are fun to explore.

    This game feels like a rushed far cry. First of all the story is good but not as good as the other far cry's. You miss a lot of small detail that used to be in all far cry games, like the animation of skinning an animal or all the different types of healing animations. And the game has a lot of glitches.     Immersive game i got caught in the story and liked the idea and the story, even though i didnt like the the john seed part but faith region was so good especially the boat scene with the Marshall the convo was so good and the soundtrack ugh

    Every aspect of this game is uninspired. Mute protagonist says everything especially in an fps game. The villain isn't much better and quite frankly the other characters are worse and i forgot about them. The AI is bad but our human team mate are totally brain dead. The missions are tedious and i didn't enjoy the side quests either. The location is worth mentioning because it's fitsEvery aspect of this game is uninspired.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. whoever designed the mission "patriot games" and by proxy how the wingsuit works in this game, needs to be PUBLICLY executed, for "crimes against humanity", it LIES and tells you "you can use the wingsuit to follow the helicopter" BUT YOU CANT, because whoever designed how the wingsuit works was LITERALLY, CLINICALLY RETARDED, and instead of just clicking a button, and have the character stick their arms out, there is some arbitrary height limit that YOU MUST BE OVER before the button actually does anything, AND IT DOESN'T COUNT SLOPES, making it LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO THIS **** MISSION AS THE NPC TOLD ME TO........other than that, its an allright game, its just far cry 3, but set in america, though, you wouldn't know it, it seems like just another random jungle setting.....yeah....… Expand

    It's an enjoyable FPS game that's not afraid to get silly at times - some of the side quests are quite amusing and the ample selection of weapons, vehicles and companions let you wreak havoc however you see fit. You can tackle the game's three main regions in any order, and you progress the overall story by doing pretty much any activity you run into. The charisma of Far Cry 5's big bad is the story's greatest asset, and although some plot points are rather nonsensical, it's a compelling enough ride. The ending is suitably disturbing and caps the game off nicely.

    The gameplay is par for the course for this kind of title. You've got enough options in combat and traversal that you'll find something that clicks, but nothing is exceptional or truly innovative. It's good enough but it doesn't break the mould. Unfortunately, I ran into a number of bugs during my playthrough, a couple of which were quite disruptive.

    Far Cry 5 is a safe bet if you're looking for a solid open world FPS with a good balance of exploration, combat, and story. It didn't blow me away but it ticked the right boxes and I had fun with it.    … Expand

    Dazu kommt noch das das Gunplay miserabel geworden ist und das ist bei einem so bekannten Shooter wie Far Cry schon wirklich peinlich, die Charaktere bleiben alle blass, die Handlung hat unzählige Fehler und es kommt zu keinem Zeitpunkt auch nur ein kleines bisschen Stimmung auf.
    Meiner Meinung nach lohnt es sich einfach vorne und hinten nicht dieses Spie kau kaufen, ich hoffe einfach mal das sich Ubisoft bei Far Cry 6 auf die Anfänge zurück besinnt und wieder ein Spiel raus bringt, das mit den ersten 3 Teilen mithalten kann.

    Positives:

    Positives:
    - The game continues the trend of having some of the best and well written villains. Joseph, John, Jacob and Faith are all really good villains and each one's missions are unique.
    - There is a plethora of vehicles to buy/find and use. Cars, trucks, ATVs, boats, helicopters and planes are available to help you traverse and fight the enemies.
    - The number of outposts is just right, there aren't too many or too few. They all have different layouts, so every one of them feels like a new challenge.
    - The graphics are very good, even though the ground can be a little bland at times.
    - The Guns/Fangs For Hire is a very well implemented mechanic, your allies can be really helpful and there is a really diverse (when it comes to abilities) roster of special characters, so it's almost certain that you will find someone suiting your playstyle.

    Negatives:
    - The weapon selection is really bland. All the assault rifles feel basically the same and that's also true for the snipers.
    - The crafting system has really been downgraded. In previous games you had to collect skins from certain animals so you can carry more weapons, money, items and ammo. Now all of this is put into the perk system.
    - The perk system. I don't mind that the developers decided to ditch the "perk tree" system and basically allow you to buy any perk you want, given you have enough perk points. The problem is that you don't get points with XP like the previous games, you get them through challenges, perk magazines and some main missions, so there is no reason to really fight after a point and side missions also don't really have that much value. There are a lot of useless perks too

    Conclusion: Far Cry 5 is a good and fun game that continues the series's run of good games, but it's flaws holds it back from being great.    … Expand

    In the previous games, NPCs were mostly soldiers in uniform, so repeating the same character models never really became an issue. However, the small roster of characters is very evident in Far Cry 5 to the point of being distracting.

    I applaud the developer for trying to mix things up and try to freshen the game mechanics a little with the inclusion of a fishing mini game, planes and helicopters to fly, and the removal of the ubiquitous tower climbing. But, I actually liked the tower climbing in the other games, and seeing new locations revealed after conquering it. I missed it being in the game.

    Another change is the introduction of buddies that can accompany you, some of whom bring air support. It's a nice idea, and the banter with them is very amusing at times, but it ultimately makes raiding enemy outposts much too easy. You can usually retake an outpost by sniping a few enemies and letting your buddy in the helicopter or plane finish the rest. There's not much of a challenge to it.

    I wanted to like the story more than I did, but I found it very disjointed and jarring at times. I appreciate what they were trying to do, but it didn't really work for me. There were simply too many WTF moments, and not in a good way.

    That said, I had fun with Far Cry 5. It's a quality product, albeit a flawed and forgettable one. The graphics are very pretty, the sound and music are nice, and shooting and blowing things up is still as satisfying as ever.    … Expand

    Last far cry games are very much same same, but different. I really like how they introduced campaign coop in FC5 and that should be worth a 9. I've bought and played them all and they always deliver but never really surprises you. DLCs very ok except for the vietnam one who were really cool. Solid buy if you are a fan of the franchise. Great to play online with a friend.

    In gameplay there are lots of ways to play the game and there were interesting wildlife to hunt. Few game breaking bugs with multiplayer but otherwise super fun and worth your money.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Far cry 5 is a game that takes a great idea for a story but manages to turn it into a Ubisoft game. What do I mean by a Ubisoft game? I mean a generic boring game that crashes every single time I fast travel. I played this game at launch, and about two weeks ago, all the way through both times. While it looks fine and plays fine, it takes a potentially interesting story with a idea and made it boring. Somehow managing to turn a cult in the U.S.A into something dull. The actor playing "The Father" is clearly talented and doing a great job, but his character is easily predictable, as he justifies everything he does with "God said to do it" which gets old really quick. The three sub bosses are a little better, but they're just three mentally ill people who have a place to hurt people which is as far as they go. The allied characters are all just one note bit parts like the sniper lady is from a military, or the preacher just an unhinged preacher. In that it remains dull. Having the character you play as not speak, or even have a real name, can work in some games, but here it just feel lazy. The side missions are a little better but not by much. They just allow for a little more fun. Overall if you have ever played a Ubisoft game since Far Cry 3, you've played this game. Yet some how it's worse then a game that came out 6 years before it. In addition, this game is laden with microtransactions and it is important to remember that Ubisoft not only defended employees who committed sexual assault on female employees, but also allowed said abusers "resign" with a very large sum of money and no legal action placed.… Expand

    Contras; Pasan demasiadas cosas al rededor mientras no controlas la zona, prácticamente no puedes dar la vuelta sin encontrar a alguien que necesita ayuda.

    This game was fun. There's a lot to this game and story. Vibrant, brutal and psychological. Something that has always been prevalent in Far Cry, but its in a setting with a place and group of people I can relate to.

    So my ratings for it is simple. 10/10 CULL THE HERD.

You'll be exploring, maybe rappelling up a cliff to grab a prepper stash, only for a horde of cultist which you previously cleared to respawn randomly and down your companion, forcing you to abandon what you were doing to help. Same could be said of when you're fishing have to abandon a fish mid hook to deal with cultist that have spawned in the area and are now shooting you. Ruins the flow of the game. Other times, you'll clip into walls, steel beams, cliffs, etc, forcing you to do a hard reset. The driving is a shade above awful and you literally have 2 radio stations to help you ignore how bad the driving is. The gunplay is terrible. 3 and 4 felt snappy and precise enough to make it exciting. Gunplay in 5 is goopy, drifty and just full of awful recoil. The world of Montana is very pretty, but honestly pales in comparison to an Island paradise (3) or the Himalayan mountains (4).

    I'm glad I purchased this on sale, because this is among the most disappointing games I've played in some time.    … Expand

    Почему меня, зачастую против моей воли, ведут на встречу с антогонистами? В этот момент я занят другими делами в мире игры? Почему с Иаковом одна и та-же полоса препятствий? И оружие в этом моменте розовенькое, это вся атмосфера в зад.
    Аркада. Это что за отстой вместо нормального коопа/мультиплеера?

I’m not sure what kind of vibranium are theirs helmets made of. Then, when I almost to give the game a solid 8 for the story and fun of it I remember the lame driving system. No realism, no sense in the steering system, absolutely no sense in the speed, you are at 100 km/h (60mp/h) at the road, you take the foot from the gas pedal and in less then two seconds speed is halved. If you don’t want to make a good driving system, don’t propose to put driving as such an important part of the game. I really liked the game, I was about to raise the rating to an 8 when I remembered that the game has micro transactions. If you pay real money you can get better weapons, vehicles and outfits. No. 7 is a good rating for this game.… Expand

    Fairly interesting story but I don't like how you progress because you have to do random missions around each part and then they just randomly catch you. The ending wasn't very satisfying either.
    Gameplay is fun, it could get boring after some time but as far as you don't overplay it's okay.

    I played the game in Co-op and I highly recommend it as it is a lot more fun with a friend.

    This game took me a while to get into. I played for a couple hours here and there for a few weeks before I actually was motivated to fully dive into it. But once I did, I was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of "fluff" in this game that is annoying, i.e. clunky A.I., bad driving mechanics, constant bombardment of enemies on main roads. But if you are able to adjust to those things andThis game took me a while to get into. I played for a couple hours here and there for a few weeks before I actually was motivated to fully dive into it. But once I did, I was pleasantly surprised. There's a lot of "fluff" in this game that is annoying, i.e. clunky A.I., bad driving mechanics, constant bombardment of enemies on main roads. But if you are able to adjust to those things and play accordingly, there is certainly a great experience waiting in the balance. If you are someone who cannot look past those things, this game will not be for you. Normally that would be me, but for some reason I gave FC5 the benefit of the doubt, and to be honest I was able to find that underneath all of its shortcomings, there's a beautiful open world to explore for hours and several interesting characters and tidbits to find along the way.

За удачно пройденные испытания пользователь получает очки, которые можно потратить на приобретение для персонала новых способностей, их улучшения. А за деньги можно приобретать все, что угодно (оружие, модификации к оружию, одежда, автомобиль, самолет и тд) - это одна из причин, почему хочется проходить все больше и больше заданий. Если говорить о донате с "экономией времени", как это любят Ubisoft - тут конечно такое присутствует в виде "серебряных слитков", однако все предметы покупаются легко без доната.

    Мультиплеер:
    Основным преимуществом Far Cry 5 стала возможность проходить игру в компании с другом. Подобная возможность была еще в FC4, но там мультиплеер был сильно ограничен. Если говорить кратко, то игра становится намного интереснее при игре с другом.

    Звук/Саундтрек:
    Большое разнообразие музыкальных композиций самых разных жанров — жуткие сцены становятся еще более пугающими, а во время веселых миссий включаются задорные треки. К локализации тоже трудно придраться.

    Итог:
    Великолепное продолжение серии. Far Cry 5 сохранила достоинства предшественниц и отлично подкорректировала формулу — выглядит и ощущается свежо.    … Expand

    Gorgeous game. A bright HDR screen will really make a difference. It feels like Far Cry mixed with a bit of Bioshock Infinite. Controls aren't quite as snappy as COD but once you play a few hours you'll feel right at home. Storyline is just ok but the characters and sound all are done nicely. Plenty of ways to get lost in this beautiful world.

    There is little difference between the voice lines of npcs which are part of the cult, and real life Christianity, lines which only refer to harmless things like loving God. This game is basically a church shooter sim, and others say it’s repetitive at its core.

    I found this to be the worst Far Cry game so far. It didn't start particularly well, as my game froze for about 10 minutes on the first load. After a while, I closed the game and restarted it only for the same thing to happen again. Unbelievable, so instead of some text stating it's a character select screen, or otherwise relaying via some other type of method asking me to select a character they decide to leave silhouettes of player models with no text and instead have a support page on the website explaining the player needs to select a model. Such a terrible design.

    This poor start didn't improve through the beginning of the game. Aside from a very brief and simplistic intro to the world, you're sent off to figure everything out yourself.

    The plot is poorly conveyed, and frankly boring. The 'story' missions are uninspired and tedious and most have very little bearing to the actual plot. I found the characters uninteresting.
    In fact the entire game just feels like a series of incohesive quests dumped on a map, the narrative is thin and relayed terribly. Even Far Cry Primal felt like a more cohesive campaign than Far Cry 5.
    I don't recall feeling this way with Far cry 3 or 4.
    Even Far Cry 2 had me caught up on things fairly quickly.

    Far Cry 5 doesn't give you actual story missions to visit (well aside from boss fights). You get character time with the main characters of the game mostly by completing a certain number of missions in particular regions of land. This means it's a fairly long time until you get to actually meet the Creed family and it can be a bit of a chore keeping interested by those points.
    I found Jacob and John pretty pointless characters, but Faith was fascinating, and I wish the game was just about her and Joseph.

    Overall the game is fairly straight forward, you get missions by meeting the right people in the world, finding those people, as well as unlocking fast travel points are the most important things in the game.
    That combined with finding money stashes and perk point magazines, which you need to have any hope in getting decent weapons or abilities, means that exploring the whole world is very important. Plus as you meet the right people you'll get allies that will assist you and transport you around as well as revive you.
    So essentially you have to forget about the actual plot of the game and just try to explore as much as you can, and once you're leveled up enough with weapons, allies, perks, and money the game starts to get a bit more interesting and it'll coincide with plot developments.

    I kinda wish more character development, and world-building was done early in the game so it didn't feel like such a chore to actually get to a point where the game starts to become interesting.

    The ending comes out of nowhere. I get that it's meant to signify that it's not just Montanna that's falling apart, but it really just comes out of nowhere and has no bearing with the story arc of the game. I don't recall any world-building within the game to prepare us for it.
    I'm about to start New Dawn, so we'll see how I feel about it in the future.

    Three things I wish were fixed with Far Cry 5 (side from the redundant character select screen):

    There are no audio volume options, you can set the master volume and that's it, but the sound effects drown out the music and voice so you cant hear what characters are saying. I found myself constantly changing the volume on my tv to hear what characters say then turning it down after to stop the deafening sound effects. Use subtitles.

    Ubisoft have removed the ability to toggle/filter a legend on the map, and also the ability to traverse through landmarks via dpad, making finding things on the map much harder than previous far cry games. I don't know why, and find it unnecessary and annoying.    … Expand

    I wasn't enjoying it very much, at first. Then I realised I was playing a masterpiece. Very good graphic for a standard PS4. Seed family is very charismatic and I love this kind of villain. I don't give a 9/10 because, as I said, until the plot starts its hot part is almost boring

    very very bad compared to GR Wild Lands. so glitchy and can't be saved by developers no matter what they do or add. Not recommended at all and if you think you can live the same experience of Wild Lands then you're wrong.

    Beautiful open world environment and enemy theme but gunplay is close to being terrible with often poor hit detection and general gameplay is and always was full of glitches and bugs. With better gunplay and less choppy delay in controls it could have been good.

    Nothing special Story was on Start great but at the end of the story not so good. That could be better, gameplay was OK also. I am not a fan from ego perspective in open-worlds but that was not so but. I hope far cry 6 make that better.

    It's kinda bad when you think they are using the same formula every single game. I mean, the villain is good, but the gameplay its boringggg. It's ok as a FPS, but the method to avance in the lore of the game, terrible. And the end is bad.

Where the game falters is when it forces the player into completing story missions once you do enough side stuff. Its not a bad mechanic but it is really quite annoying when you get sucked into a story mission when you're just trying to explore. The story is alright and although Joseph Seed is a good antagonist, he's nowhere near Vaas or Pagan Min. Its a fun game, but the Far Cry formula is getting a little stale. 77/100… Expand

A beautiful picture, optimization, convenient gameplay, a variety of everything - this is certainly great and cool ... the first couple of hours. Behind these pluses are their own minuses:
    1) Nice, but in some places there are flaws.
    2) Easy to play, too much. Too arcade and clumsy.
    3) There are various additional. quests, but after a couple of hours of playing, you start to go through them without enthusiasm.
    4) Nameless hero. You play as a faceless character with no name or history. You are just a body following orders. You do not feel like a significant character, but a simple NPC who, like everyone else, disappears around the corner. The problem is that you will not disappear, but you will be forced to wander through endless, beautiful meadows, high dangerous mountains in search of the same type of cutscene where Joseph again complains to you that you thwarted his plans.
    By the way about Joseph. I've always liked antagonists in the FarCry series. Vaas, Pagan were interesting opponents. Joseph was no exception. The main character is fighting a tightly repulsed fanatic who has a goal as strange and unimaginable as himself. It is interesting to watch his efforts, failures, emotions (Though sometimes it seems too much ... yes, **** I'm talking about the snot scene. It's certainly cool that you decided to show Joseph's emotions to the maximum, but it's disgusting).
    Missions in the game are default for the series ... and for many games, in principle: bring this, kill that, blow up something. Nothing to say about them, except one: THANKS ... UBISOFT ... for the coolest stunt missions of Clutch Nixon. These are really funny, interesting missions and with an awesome soundtrack (I even added myself to Spotify). There are of course a few other cool missions. I will not say that all missions are bad ... but most of them.
    The verdict is as follows: 7 points. Even though more than half of the game sucks, I enjoyed it and I don’t regret wasting my time on it ... almost don’t regret it.    … Expand

    This happens several times with each of the three protagonists who control a specific area and does slightly affect the continuity of the game play and to some people may seem like an annoyance. As you take over various buildings and settlements you will get warning the enemy is looking for you.

    There are as always lots of weapons to get to grips with to help deal with the worlds foes and you also get to drive and fly around in a range of vehicles. I particularly liked how the helicopters functioned and you also get to drive around in a special truck which is obtained during a mission.

    Overall I thoroughly enjoy playing Far Cry 5 though i do think the final mission is particularly difficult and it took me several tries to complete which may annoy some people also. This for me tarnished the game slightly hence the 9 out of 10.    … Expand

It's OK to see that happening 1 or maybe 2 times but it kept happening all the time through the missions. Game has an amazing geography and stunning views but when you see that views and beautiful nature,you expect the sameIt's an amazing experience from a lot of view.     Good game. Not the best in series. But wild America is fun to explore and they make you to look at world and not map this time :) Characters is interesting enough so you kinda care till end. Ending is bad tho...Really all this work for thsi ending is a bit disappointing, but its not ruining the fun you had on the way.

    I liked the game very much, the plot is not very interesting, but the gameplay and visuals of the game are very beautiful, the game did not lag. One minus game is a plot, very unil. I finished this game almost completely. my rating is 9/10 minus the plot. (litter for mistakes) :(

    Definitely the most refined mechanic in the far cry franchise. Probably some will rank lower for the recycle of some classic formulas, but this one is rather "definitive".

And secondly the barely show the antagonist. So that means this game has no protagonist and antagonist. The gun combat is go weak. The recoil on the assault rifle they give you is way too much. I was upset that not a whole lot of progress was made to make it more immersive and interesting as it was with Far Cry 3.     Потрясающее очень круто поставленные катсцены, особенно с семьей Сидов:

    Главный герой, это п*здец, вот по-другому это не назовёшь. Это не какая-то личность,с внутренними переживаниями, проблемами, нет это просто манекен которым вы управляете и выполняете миссии, сама идея немого гг, это просто верх идиотизма. Ему что-то говорят, он как долб*еб молчит, его пытают, он молчит, происходит какой-то нереальный экшн, куча взрывов и беспредела? Он бл*ть молчит. Представьте если бы Джейсон Броди всю игру молчал, да половину впечатлений от третьего фар краю бы напрочь исчезли. Как и тут было бы в два раза больше впечатлений если бы он проявлял хоть какие-то эмоции, и не был пластиковой куклой.

    Само построение сюжета здесь тоже хромает. 99% квестов, ты просто п*здишь с таким же манекеном, и идёшь на миссию. В очень редких случаях это какая-то катсцена, а если это и она то мое почтение, еще раз повторюсь, они великолепные. На этом всё. Из игры мог получится настоящий шедевр который дал бы за щёку всем фар краям вместе взятым, (да-да включая третий) Но получилось просто достойная игра.    … Expand

    The Good:
    Core game play is still great with one man gorilla army being the major draw of the series

    Some of the side characters are a lot of fun

    Looks great and may be my favorite setting of the series

    Gets political but not in an annoying way, especially seeing how it makes fun of my camp of politics with it feeling satirical rather then an attack on my way of thinking. This has one exception unfortunately.

    The Bad:
    Just about all main missions are boring and lacking in creativity. The game often abandons the Gorilla warfare/tool box design and puts you in a small room or hallway with set spawns for enemy's turning the game into a painfully average shooter. Focus on what makes the game great and build on that, have open areas where you can approach the objective in many ways rather then a bad COD mission.

    Hard mode is a mixed bag, with just enemy damaged values and visibility of the player character increased so the lazy way of doing a hard mode. Works well in the open world as it makes you play more conservative and cautiously, amplifying the Gorilla warfare angle of the series. But story missions are awful on hard mode with you having no choice but fight head on, at best it s a grind and at worst its almost unplayable, just try the opening mission on hard.

    Hunting is way less of a focus and is just for money and not upgrades, considering the setting this was a huge shock. Also it feels very grindy to get money from hunting, this feeling is amplified by micotrasactions in the single player.

    The randomness of the world back fires often with you dying from events completely out of your control, a lot of this is attributed to enemy vehicles that are a lot more common in this game then the rest of the series.

    AI needed a little more time in the oven, friendly NPC often are more detrimental to your efforts then any assistance they can offer. Roaming friendly NPC's will straight up get you killed.

    The Antagonists are trying really hard to be menacing but just come off as incompetent idiots. Also having the bad guys just talk to you while the player character just stands there and stares is just frustrating, guess they where hoping we would be entranced by the performances not to notice.......

    Story takes the ever so popular nihilistic view of the world which ends up just being cute.

    Ending is trying hard to say something but like the rest of the story misses the mark, mostly from its nihilistic views. Worst part is it makes you never want to play it again.

    Trump references can take you out of the game and boil down to 'Orange Man Bad'. Satire is fine but its hinted that Trumps election is a major motivation for the main antagonist...'roles eyes'.

    Conclusion:
    This is Far Cry, its a goofy game where you take on a whole army with Gorilla style warfare. Learn to read an audience and focus on what makes these games fun or completely re-hall it and give us a brand new experience. Middle of the road design just gives you mediocrity and that is what we have here, a painfully mediocre game with moments of greatness and an almost embarrassing story.

    5/10, I ended up just being disappointed    … Expand

    One of the best Far Cry games, map is huge, Graphics are the best part, story is okay, and I loved doing all the side quests, mainly the fishing ones. I found it rather fun although some side quests are really annoying like doing the eagles. Worst part is the online. It had potential but it was horrible. Trying to play Coop with friends is just such a pain, Falls short to Far Cry 4, and 3

    I think it's a pretty okay game, Nothing else. Regular gameplay, regular graphics and and normal history. Nothing too deep and no further innovations. Farcry 4 had some greater mechanics... at least Joseph was a good character. Anyway, i had some fun.

Why couldn't they have just left it a pure open world game without the crap. The silent protagonist ruined the immersion and the new approach to story telling meant the story was told pretty terribly aswell. The gameplay was OK but too many enemy vehicles driving around.     Am I the only one that was incredibly disappointed by this game? This was my first (and last) time playing a game in this series. The missions were super repetitive, the combat was awful, all guns felt the exact same, story was absurd, and everything just felt so scripted, the world might be open but the missions couldn’t be more linear and predictable. Truly awful game.

    I really enjoyed this game, and fell in love with its outstanding location "Hope County". The story is pretty good and the game from start to end is real fun. In some cases it can get annoying when you're trying to get to a quest giver but the dozens of enemies start shooting at you because you tried to rescue a hostage.     This fresh take on the Far Cry franchise is clearly visible content-wise, but a tad more discrete on the style. If you're not bothered by the slightly repetitive formula, you'll enjoy the many strengths of this episode.

    Far Cry 5 established itself as one of the best in the series, The game features some gorgeous scenery, an engaging story and the overall story is great fun and the theme is very realistic. The game mixes up the missions so it doesn't get repetitive halfway through the game. Far Cry 5 is a great entry to the series for newbies and veterans alike.
