This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Previously been a certified ‘Bethesda fan boy’ but this game is a far cry from their previous entries. Optimisation is a term unfamiliar with the team(s) that handled this title, full of the same bugs and glitches that were prominent or actually patched in other Creation Engine entities. I find it very hard that this game was nothing less than a basic cash grab whilst they focus their main assets on the next Elder Scrolls title and their new Upcoming IP Starfield. Very, very disappointed. Expand

I've heard this game is an absolute joke.
Especially the "HOLIDAYS EMOTE BUNDLE" For "50% off" of 2400 atoms. It was released half price. That's just ridiculous.

Thank god I never brought this "game"
I'm not sure If I can even call it a game.

I waited over a year to buy this game after reading the horrible reviews for it, figuring it would be fixed by now. NOPE. I've been playing for 2 hrs and I'm bored out of my mind. I was hoping that if it was going to be this bad, that at least it would be entertaining. It's not remotely fun to read missions from terminals and listen to them on holotapes. To top it off, you just get fetch quests from the terminals and the holotapes. The VATS is severely flawed and doesn't work 25% of the time, switching weapons is harder than it needs to be and almost impossible to do during a fight when you need to switch quickly since the game doesn't slow down, the NPCs that they finally put in the game are uninteresting, and the server has crashed twice in the small amount of time I've been playing. I didn't mind paying full price for previous Fallout games, but I paid $5 for this one and feel like I got ripped off. Won't be buying Bethesda games unless they're God tier but I seriously doubt Bethesda will be making anything like that any time soon. Used to be a customer, not anymore.

They said fallout 76 will be great after the wastelanders update. They said everything will be tested now and it will work this time.

It seems like they have just tested one part of the campaign. If you play as a rider you have to restart role levela sometimes, because you can't xontinue. The game is still laggy. Enemy's just spawn arround you and even if you respawn

One if the fun parts of fallout was always to collect stuff. But in fallout 76 they still haven't figured out how to implement more storage space. You can just store 800g in your storage.
When you want more storage place you have to pay 100€ extra per year or you can throw stuff away.
Even when the new story is quite fun, you always feel, that this game is just a cash cow. So if hey want to sell this game to you for the full price, just don't buy it.

If you're looking for an mmorpg look elsewhere. This game is not legit. Hardwork does not pay off and you'd be wasting your time. Everyone here just dupes and cheats on everything, and Bethesda isn't doing anything about it. Won't be long until this game dies

Bought for £10 in 2021 to play with a friend since we were desperate for something to play and the game still severely lacks any sort of polish. The AI and it's pathing is appalling, screen tearing, terrible render distance and framrate, some crashes. Enemies without movement animations at all and clip around. The worst part is, in the 6 hours I was waiting for the game to download, I was watching videos about what Bethesda has been doing over the past couple years, and all the crap they’ve pulled related to 76 and I’m just so disenchanted with them. I’ll never pre-order another Bethesda game, that’s for sure. Honestly it’s basically good riddance at this point, go extort Xbox players.

Bought game on sale for $13 on PS Store. Played for about 20 minutes - all of which were inside the intro vault due to 3 disconnects. Game never saved, so had to remake character 2 times. Asked Sony for a refund and they accused my internet of being the problem before issuing a refund. Stick to single-player games Bethesda...

I leveled myself to 77 when this first came out and then stopped playing completely for the last couple of years. I 'thought' given the amount of time it's been, they should of had enough time to address many of the issues that made me quit in the first place. And of course, creating a fresh character makes me run into the same issues that have pissed me off with every Bethesda iteration. In this case, I talking specifically about the button mapping issues that has persisted for decades now. And every time, I need to go back and reset to the default button layout so that I can see where the button's' that don't work, get mapped to. As the engine has a terrible time showing and correctly mapping buttons. I am a pc gamer - I map my "Active/Activate" button to the letter 'G' - but in FO76 - the letter G only rotates items when you try and build sometime and does not allow you to actually place the item. So again...I have to reset buttons to default, see that the default is 'E' - reroute this to another button that doesn't 'rotate' items when in build mode.
I'm so tired of this...I've experienced some form of frustration around the button layout in virtually every single Bethesda game I've played for the last 15-20 years. Why is this so hard to address?!?

A lonely game that feels like a departure from the traditional fallout experience. Not enough features to make it a true mmo, or single player game; it ends up being mediocre at both. This is nothing more than a generic survival mmo with a fallout theme.

On JUNE 21 2019 a slew of 10/10 reviews pop up. Reminds me of spam reviews for Raven's Cry (worst game of all time). A statistical blip or is Bethesda spamming positive reviews to prop this game up? I'll believe the ultra low scores having witnessed the decline of Bethesda from great RPG maker to producer of utter garbage.

This game has proved to be a disappointment. No NPCs, forced online play, and a weak storyline make this the worst fallout game to date. As a huge fan of Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4, I was really excited for a change from the urban wasteland environment. Now if feels like endless wandering while randomly being killed by other players.

I gave it a 1 because it was at least free (for a weekend). Over a year since launch and this game is still a mess, it is primarily a first person shooter but the combat is completely broken, enemies not taking damage, enemies shooting through walls and more, the list is endless. It’s such a shame because I love exploring the world and the lore.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have gotten to level 40, so My opinion is backed by a lot of gameplay. The crafting is a good addition, i dare say an improvement over Fallout 4's. though that is pretty much the only part of the game I enjoyed.

I fortunately did not experience constant crashing and glitching like others did, but it allows me to further look into the gameplay, which does not hold up. combat is lacking. The gunplay is bad as always, though its worsened by the fact that the starting guns are slow, weak, and awkward. Normally I would not care about the "weak" part, but seeing as how I can walk around with a board and kill most things in just 2 hits, its an issue. Enemies can of course still block your sledgehammer with knives, though it does not seem to be as bad as it is in FO4. Weapon variety is sadly lacking. It has been 10 years since FO3, I am not trying to sound like an ass, but its time for some new stuff. Aside from the black powder weapons and a tesla rifle I found it was more of the same. Also, why can we still not use a shield, or dual wield, or use a pistol or SOMETHING with our free hand when using one handed weapons? there is no reason to not use the one handed stuff unless it just happens to deal a **** ton of damage or if you can be dark souls parry king with it.

the story is lacking. Everything coming from holotapes and computer records takes out all the engagement and interest. there are in fact NPCs in the game: but they are on dimensional robots that only exist to trade or give you fetch quests. The scorched are basically mindless zombies, but unlike those of say the walking dead, they pose little to no threat, both due to simply being weak and due to poor AI programming. (had some simply stand there and let me kill them) the only interesting enemy among the scorched are the scorch beasts. this gets to my last point

lack of enemy variety. I was looking forward to seeing no super mutants as they do not come around until FO1, but lo and behold, we see em prowling the wastes, because " vault-tec poisoned the water" but thats ok, we should not see deathclaws very much either because at this point they are rare? nope, one can still find quite a few deathclaws around. It sums up the issue of the game itself: the game recycles so many assets and so much content from the previous games: its basically Fallout 4, but with no story, interesting characters, or anything meaningful in the world. We do have a few new enemies like the grafton monster and the windego, but they are so rare that i can hardly bring myself to count them, and because of the lack of story driven NPCs, we cannot have any new factions to spice things up. To sum it up, the game is empty and boring. And with the recent controversies surrounding the game my trust in Bethesda is decreasing. If you want to play a good Fallout game just pick up New Vegas or Fallout 3. Sure the graphics are literal **** but they have an interesting story, and memorable character, and new vegas in particular has great roleplay. &6 has none of these things. Maybe it will improve with updates, but as of now it is a failure.

Bethesda.

First of all, we released a buggy piece of code, then continued with various fixes for 50 gigs, deleting the game because the client wanted it, not correct positioning of the product itself, just the worst communication with fans, with a price tag like RDR 2. I think that for such an attitude to their fans, they do not deserve not a single cent.

The bad: Build limit, stash limit, lag, quests, no npcs, items, crashes, etc.
    The good: cinematic.
This game needs more work. They should have hired voice actors and added NPCs. The programming on the stash/inventory/vendors just causes lag outs. Either this is intentional Lag, or horrible/lazy programming. Inventory that isn't even rendered graphically should not lag the system.

The programming on the stash/inventory/vendors just causes lag outs. Either this is intentional Lag, or horrible/lazy programming. Inventory that isn't even rendered graphically should not lag the system. They could have easily separated it more into pages so that only 10 or 20 items load in at once. There is appears to be an issue with over processing of the inventory.

And if "ARK" can handle better builds than Fallout 76, that's pretty bad.

It feels like no thought went into this game.

It's unbalanced. Enemies are either extremely easy or next to impossible.
One quest even says "recommended 8 players". That's just horrible. You would have to get groups from some obscure gaming website to be able to do that. There is not a group-up mechanism in game. And the levels of players on server are to varied. A level 4 is not going up against scorch beasts. You're lucky if you get two people in the same area, let alone 8.

This game should not have been sold. Waste of money. And this is coming from a guy that has skyrim tattoos. I love Bethesda. But this game is horrible. The only reason I keep playing it is so I get my money's worth and drudge through the npc Void story.

That's the best things i feel like (at the moment), I do hope that Bethesta take action and fixes all of the glitches and bugs soon as possible. Because there are a lot of bugs let me tell you, and soo many glitches. The things wrong with this game are not okay and they should have waited with release because they're not in any rush to fix them now...
My advice to anyone wondering if it's worth the money- you can't really know if you'll like it, but it's definitely not worth the 60 dollars! Buy it on sale of wait and see if the issues get fixed.

Lack of story, buggy unfinished mess. All of the bugs would be tolerable if the world actually had human NPS instead of boring fetch quests. The "story" is just go listen to holotapes, read terminals and notes. Awful story, I can't stress how much this game is in the need for the implementation of Human NPS.

It has some of the look and feel of a Fallout game but it doesn't deserve to be part of the series. They should have never released this mediocre attempt just to produce an online experience. Instead Bethesda should have realized what they are good at: deep single player RPG's, and improve on that.

This game is borderline unplayable at times. They released a game that wasn't ready and what seems to be on a server that can't handle the type of gameplay. Game has a ton of lag, bugs and glitches. I'd spend your money elsewhere.

Bethesda really messed this one up. This new installment in the Fallout series is an experimental one, where Bethesda tried a whole new multiplayer experience by copy-pasting 90% of Fallout 4 assets.

Bethesda really messed this one up. This new installment in the Fallout series is an experimental one, where Bethesda tried a whole new multiplayer experience by copy-pasting 90% of Fallout 4 assets.
I played for a little bit more than 76 hours, I've reached lvl 80 and in the process completed several innumerable quests, fought in pvp and took part of events. I really wanted to like this game because it feels so comfy just walking around the Appalachia exploring, and discovering the over 100 different locations in it but simply this game just doesn't work.

The story. Honestly, I stopped caring about the story at some point. Listening to monologues on holotapes all the time is boring, specially when the game doesn't stop (because of it's online feature) and you're always hearing noises, enemies and random people talking on their microphones. It's just a really weird way of replacing NPC's and dialogues that doesn't work pretty well. Sometimes I would find myself venturing into a random building, hacking into terminals and reading the mails and information to learn more about the lore but most of the time I wouldn't find anything interesting. In general it just sucks that everyone is already dead when you get out of the vault.

The enemies. Ghouls and scorched are spread everywhere so you're going to see A LOT of them and killing them gets way too repetitive after a couple of hours. The AI is way too primitive, enemies get stuck everywhere or sometimes it seems like they can't see you at all. You're gonna spend the first hours of the game admiring the flying Scorchbeasts flying above you and once you're strong enough to take one down with your friends you're in for a huge disappointment as these boss-like enemies don't drop any notable loot and they're just a waste of ammo, because trust me they usually take a lot of ammo to kill. You know when you're playing a game and after hours of farming and grinding you kill a specific enemy or boss and you feel so much pride of what you just accomplished? Well, you're not gonna get that feeling here.

The PVP aspect. When you shoot someone first you barely deal any damage so you gotta wait until the other player shoots you back in order to begin a "duel", unless they have a bounty on them. The most fun I've had so far was finding two players (bounty on them) attacking someone else's camp and taking them both down with my .50 cal. machine gun from behind, later accepting one of the player's challenge to kill each other. The worst experience I had with pvp was getting killed by a player wielding a knife and sporting a jet pack, this guy hit me and flew onto a building rooftop, of course I couldn't follow since I don't have a jet pack yet. He eventually killed me, I came back for revenge only to realize he was glitched so no matter what weapon I used I wasn't dealing any damage. This is a common issue, by the way.

The copy-pasting. Basically, what Bethesda did here was recycling most assets from Fallout 4, like weapons, armors, automated turrets, buildings and enemies, without providing with more content, which is what most fans expect from a new game. We have this whole new map to explore only to find the same power armors (except for the new Ultracite PA), the same guns and the same enemies from Fallout 4. Charging fans $60 for a multiplayer Fallout 4 experience complete with the same glitches it had 3 years ago is totally unacceptable. We deserved a whole new game, not a recycled one with a few add-ons.

The collector's edition. I just want to say I'm really disappointed with this, I care very little about the bag not being canvas although Bethesda failed to delivered something that was already promised but the T-51 power armor helmet's quality is outrageous, we paid $200 for it and it has glue everywhere, it feels cheap as hell and I feel like I'm gonna break it if I touch it too much. I also own the Titanfall 2 Vanguard's Edition helmet and the quality is 100x better even thought the price was around $150 I think.

Overall the whole game is broken, every day people find new bugs and Bethesda fails to keep up the pace fixing things. A huge disappointment.

In short, the map is pretty, I find the stories interesting, the new V.A.T.S is an improvement over the Fallout 4 V.A.T.S, the map is leagues better but lacking function, the gun combat is more tolerable, the new weapons are a welcome addition, and I like the NPCs. This is based on 10-15 hours of gameplay.

    The long version:

    Section 1: The controls
This game needs a remapping of the controls for PS4 controllers. Pressing triangle to jump is ackward. The rest of the gaming world has used the X button for jumping. I propose the following button layout for Fallout 5. Using a PS4 controller for reference.

The Touch Bar= Your map, inventory, upgrade tree, settings, etc.

    X button= Jump
    Press Square= reload
Hold Square near an NPC= interact with NPC
    Circle button= Crouch
Triangle button= bring up weapon wheel
    R1= Dedicated grenade button
    L1= Something other than V.A.T.S

    Section 2: The Menu
The Pip Boy is an annoying interface, just like in Fallout 4. I am proposing this franchise use a Borderlands inspired menu with a perk section, an inventory section, a map, a quest tab. They can even make this in the ugly Pip Boy green if they want. I understand there's some lore about the universe not having invented the transistor, but the Pip Boy still looks ugly.

    Section 3: The Story(ies)
The main story in Fallout 4 IMO was a steaming pile of horse **** I was not interested in finding "my son" for a second. While I have not completed the main story, I am intrigued by this scorch plague and the reports of flying beasts. I want to know what happens next, unlike Fallout 4 where I only completed story missions by accident. The side missions, so far, seem to have more personality than the Fallout 4 side missions. I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.

    Section 4: The NPCs
There is a false narrative spreading that this game doesn't have NPCs. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Fallout 76 has some really interesting NPCS. So far my favorites are the drunk bartender from the Nukashine mission and Rose the robot Raider. IMO the NPCs in Fallout 76 are more expressive and interesting. I know people are mad there are no human NPCs, but to be honest none of the human NPCs from Fallout 4 has good lip synching. Until they fix that **** I am content with robot NPCs.

    Section 5: The survival mechanics
The hunger, thirst, decreased carry capacity somehow make this game more fun than Fallout 4. I can't describe why, but now all the consumables which were worthless in Fallout 4 become far more interesting in Fallout 76. Also these survival mechanics feel right for a world that's only 25 years after the apocalypse.

Section 6: The Perk Card system
I loath, hate, and despise the upgrade tree from Fallout 4. What a cluttered, uninteresting piece of **** The perk card system, combined with the now functional V.A.T.S system, means there is better presentation of upgrades and the agility tree is worth a damn! Well done Bethesda, although I am worried they will make perk packs purchasable with atoms, but so far this is not the case.

    Section 7: V.A.T.S
I hated V.A.T.S in Fallout 4. Was a clunky mess that slowed down combat in what should be a fast moving FPS experience. In Fallout 76 they have redesigned the system to be a simple aimbot. It's now functional, but uninspired. IMO Fallout 5 either needs to scrap the V.A.T.S system to focus on fast and fluid first person shooting, or they need a drastic redesign to make V.A.T.S work in a fast fluid FPS system. I'm imagining a Soldier 76 ultimate style V.A.T.S but that's just my opinion.

    Section 8: The bad
There are a lot of serious problems with this game that keep it from being scored higher in my book. The microtransactions this game expects for simple cosmetic are shameful. I paid for a full retail game, I want all the damn cosmetics you imported from Fallout 4. Having to scrap weapons to gain weapon upgrades is a confusing system. Why not just scrap the guns for parts, but be able to build better weapons after building a certain quantity and quality of other gun parts. I hope they redesign this system. The map, while being pretty, can be unhelpful at times. I would appreciate specific instructions, not vague mission goals. I would like to be able to see on my map the locations of safes after I discover them, but can't unlock them. This would help me come back for them and force me to explore the map to map their location instead of the location being given to me like Rage 2. The weapon wheel needs work. This is the clunkiest weapon wheel I have used to date. Too many of the necessary building structures are locked behind high atom prices.

This is my review, let me know what you think.

I have played around 50 hours of this game, and I can say that if you're expecting a nuanced and detailed story like previous Fallouts, you will be disappointed. There's no factions or reputation system, There are no companions or NPCs that have interesting backgrounds or stories to tell. InI have played around 50 hours of this game, and I can say that if you're expecting a nuanced and detailed story like previous Fallouts, you will be disappointed. Fallout 76 strips you of interesting sidequests and storylines that made previous Fallout games. There's no factions or reputation system, There are no companions or NPCs that have interesting backgrounds or stories to tell. In fact, I can hardly say there is a "story" with this game at all, as it just involves running quest marker to quest marker, quest marker to quest marker. The quests are given out by holotapes and voice recordings and the main protagonist just decides to follow them ad nauseam. Fallout 76 completely takes away any semblance of player choice that made Fallout such a good franchise in the first place, you can not choose who to side with to finish the main story, as you are forced to work with different "factions" that consist of only dead people and robots.

All of this is to be expected of an online Fallout, though, right? What about the gameplay? The gunplay and shooting mechanics are serviceable, to the game's credit. I don't think there have been this many guns in a Fallout game, so you will always pick up new varieties of guns to shoot and play with, which was a big positive. You can mod the guns by scrapping old weapons and learning mod schematics, which I thought was pretty interesting. Power Armor is back as well, being as cool and tanky as ever. Scavenging for junk to build and mod your armor and weapons is time-consuming, but I thought looting and shooting was the most enjoyable part of the game. Some of the guns and armor I picked up though are locked behind level caps, such as the experimental mirv I found being only available past level 45. I know this is to balance the game's "PVP", but they mess that up terribly. The PVP system was the main thing I was looking forward to in the game, being able to snipe and kill people from long range, blow them up, etc. The PVP, however, is very underwhelming. If you attack someone, or they attack you, the damage dealt is reduced by about 90%. This "damage" is more equivalent to being hit with a pool noodle. There was one point where a level 50 came up to me, a level 10, and hit me with a super sledge around 10 times and only took off about a quarter of my health. You can literally choose to play the game without other people bothering you at all! If the person attacked fights back, however, you both do regular damage to each other. This system leads to people getting shot at, then going into their pipboy and taking all of their chems and just barrel stuffing their attacker with a shotgun. This system is unlike any I have ever seen, it just doesn't work properly. Without a properly working PVP, the game turns into a subpar shoot and loot. The game pretty much devolves down into go here, kill these guys, come back. Go there, kill these nameless enemies, come back. Though I did find myself enjoying exploring the numerous dungeons and areas, the enemies were always the same. It's just scorched, ghouls, mole miners, and super mutants, over and over again. This is unfortunate as some of the areas have super interesting backgrounds, and they're completely glossed over for just killing the same nameless enemies again and again.

The "RPG" mechanics as Fallout is known for are minimal. Your character never seems to get any interesting skills, and most, if not all of the perk cards are things like "10% damage boost with rifles" or "Junk items weigh 25% less". Gone are the days of interesting perks that can change the way the game is played. The perk cards serve their purpose, but for the sake of "balance", any interesting builds and perks from even Fallout 4 are scrapped.

All of this to mention that the game, technically, is similar, if not WORSE to any other Bethesda game. I had my game crash around 20(!) times in my playthrough of Fallout 76. I also had numerous occasions of bugged quest markers and glitched quests that I literally had to close my game numerous times to get the quests to actually work. The game runs like absolute crap on PS4, with frame drops and lag spikes very, very common. There were points in the game when I was in buildings in the wasteland where I was getting around 5(!) frames per second. This wasn't spikes in frames either, no. There were certain buildings where if you visited them this would be CONSISTENT until you left. Games in this state should NOT be released, especially for 60(!!!!!) dollars as a "AAA" experience.

Fallout 76 feels like a game without identity, straddling the line between PVP and PVE, while not committing totally to one or the other. It's too scared to fully embrace the PVP, yet it relies on being multiplayer too much to have any interesting RPG elements, NPCs, Factions, or side quests. Bethesda should have just fully committed to one or the other, and not give us this mediocre "run here, shoot this" type of game.

Absolute trash! $12 per month or $100 per year and it auto renews for a broken, completely pathetic game. Prepare to never sell another game

The game is not worth the 60$ for the base game, rather maybe 20$. I give it a 2 because between the bugs, glitches, lonely servers, repetitive enemies, and complete lack of story, some fun elements exist. The crafting system is nice, as is the camp building and survival aspects. So that is the +2 points. The other 8 points...well let’s start from the beginning and work our way forward. The game released riddled with bugs and glitches that I would expect to see in a beta for most devs, but this being Bethesda, it was about par for the course. Which would have made it forgivable iif not for them announcing before hand that the game had 16 times the detail of FO4. I’m not sure where this detail is supposed to be found, but it is not in any part of the game I have explored in the last 100+ hours. Further more, the story is lifeless. I had an open mind with the holotape telling of the story and robots and the like...but the story itself simply lacked life, As usual with a Bethesda game now, combat is unimpressive as well. We move forward and see that the atomic shop now includes functional items, seemingly contrary to Bethesda’s original statements, but they conveniently only said the Atomic Shop would be cosmetics. Not that it would be cosmetics ONLY. I’m not sure that any of the player base caught that one prior to launch. Now instead of working on content that has been promised, begged for, and could save the game (NPCs), they have announced a 100$ a year paid subscription to private servers, something that was confirmed to be in the plans prior to launch, but never mentioning it being charged for, much less 100$ a year. Given the nature of mods (a core part of Bethesda games now), they are likely to be behind this steep pay wall as well. Given all of these facts, a 2/10 seems more than generous for a game that was released half baked and over priced, and remains so to this day. Expand

What is this, bethesda? You told us there would be no paid content in the game. But you add a damn subscription for 8,400 rubles. Are you serious?!

The game is not worth its price, and 100$ membership for 'singleplayer' mode is just a joke; but not only this, the main game is still seriously bugged, sometimes even unplayable, and now pay-to-win micro transactions. Just better spend money on The Outer Worlds.

Broken, bugged and incomplete. Exudes the integrity of millionaire panhandler. Bethesda has fallen and forever tarnished their brand; let this game be a warning of the company's direction and the future of the gaming industry. I say this as a FORMER Bethesda/Elder Scrolls/Fallout mega fan... Bethesda genuinely broke my heart with this one but after processing the grief, I accepted that the developer I once admired and the franchises that I loved are all dead. It is finished. I hope to never see another Fallout or Elder Scrolls again because I do not want to see the abomination they become - a broken, bugged out, microtransaction machine that locks what the fan's want most behind scummy paywalls. Don't ware your money, every time I attempt to play, It either crashes or I have to download a insanely large patch that takes ages to down, then breaks the game more anyway! I really would not recommend this to anyone.

I'd been playing this garbage since launch, hoping it would get better. Bethesda continues to butt**** this game more and more breaking their promises and ignoring the community that is trying to help them fix it. But Lord Todd can't do nothing wrong, right? Down with Bethesda!!!!

Great fun but... this is a broken game. All new 'free' content Bethesda puts out is a total mess. Recently, Bethasda has made the game Pay2Win (you can argue about semantics because PvP is optional but paid subscribers get a HUGE advantage). Now more than a year after release it is very clear to me this game will never improve.
If you are a big fallout fan and can get it dirt cheap,

If you are a big fallout fan and can get it dirt cheap, you'll have fun. If you pay normal AAA game price, you'll feel ripped off.
The makers of this game, Bethasda game studies, has a tendency to lie and distort the truth. They treat their costumers like idiots.
It has great potential that will be never reached, which makes it even sadder.
I would not recommend this game to anybody.

I feel there greed is showing and i will not buy another game from them without renting it first. If you are enjoying this game good for you but this left a bad taste for me.

I had fun some time playing this buggy mess, together with friends.

But after the advantages trough the In game shop and now even Fallout first. I think even F2p would be pointless, because it isn't worth

Goddamn this game is horrible and how the mighty have fallen.

Releasing a game broken on launch is a recent trend in gaming eg. Anthem and it is making me sick and tired of online service games which now I just don't buy because of how insulting they are to fans. I didn't even play anymore then 15 hours of this game because it was tedious and hurt my eyes looking at this garbage. 16x

With the release of fallout 1st being $100 a year is even more insulting, what happened to the free DLC, I am so glad I got a full refund for this game.

Worst game of 2018 by far that I have played, even the decade possibly.

Despite the bugs there is a lot of things to do such as questing and grinding. And not to mention weapons, resources and all the nice stuff is limited to the awful atomic store. What makes fallout give me a score of 3 is that when you do get a chance to play it, you have the beautiful view, almost no lag and an authentic fallout experience similar to fallout 4. Expand

A total letdown and an unbelievable scar on a truly ponderous series. Completely broken shooting mechanics and the problems with this game is an affront to those who enjoyed the lore and individuality that came with creating your own survival. The so called leveling system is janky at best and in a few words the pinnacle of what broken promises really look like

So utterly disappointing and flawed in every possible way… The first few hours, most of it can be ignored, and occasionally the flaws can be forgotten, but only briefly before they come storming back to the forefront. An awful, boring, empty, pointless experience. There is, however, a glimmer of hope. It's worth mentioning that there has already been a Bethesda title that was equally as unimpressive: The Elder Scrolls Online - but looking at it now, it has transformed into one of the best MMOs out there. There's always the hope the Fallout 76 develops the same way and becomes something special, but for now, that seems impossible. It's a world away from that.

Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

Fallout 76 is the series’ Freshman introduction into the world of online, multiplayer games. As a result, we are experiencing all of the awkwardness and clumsiness associated with that season of life. It is imperfect and a bit uncomfortable, but I see opportunity for Fallout 76 to be more than it presently it - to be a truly great, rich Fallout experience.
