    Bethesda should have named this game Sellout 76. They do not care and it is evident by the garbageness of this game. They have completely sold out for money and produced in garbage product in hopes of making a quick dollar. Any smart person would avoid these titles and shame the company for producing them.

    You get games like Horizon: ZD, RDR 2, WITCHER 3, MARVEL´s SPIDER MAN and then THIS **** **** which looks like some early PS3/X360 game and moreover even runs so **** bad. HOW can Bethesda even think of any success of this crappy game. And we all know that the technical state of this game isnt the only issue it has. Unbelievable.

    If this was made as a Fallout 4 mod by 2 people in a student flat, then this would be a good effort. But for £50 - this is taking the piss. Fallout 4 was a rubbish Fallout game, but a passable open-world shooter - this, on the other hand, is a travesty. It is an insult, not only to the legacy of the "Fallout" franchise but also to the consumer.     I never give something a 0, and it's definitely not review bombing, and I know Bethesda's games are buggy and crash until usually the community fixes it. But on PS4 it crashed right on the title screen. Three times. I reinstalled, and moved from system to external storage to troubleshoot. Kept crashing at title screen. It wasn't even a very nice title screen. So that's a 0.

    This game in it of itself is not "a hit" if anything it's a miss, and an embarrassment to Bethesda and the fanbase. Lack of A.I., lack of Base Building, lack of PVP, lack of meaningful multiplayer, and a lack of good quests other than just protect this person, kill this person, or explore this place and bring something back. Most mechanics like hunger and thirst restrict you too much from actually exploring the world, which is the main point of this game, and other than a lack of things Fallout 76 has dozens of bugs, more than I could count. And don't say "oh wait for an update" because that means we're giving these companies more of a chance to abuse us rather than giving us games that are actually finished. And now more than ever are we being given shlock (except Red Dead Redemption 2) than ever before. I want games to be innovative, and refreshing, not stale, and poorly outdated. And speaking of outdated, Skyrim 2 will be having the same engine as Fallout 76, which honestly makes me cry to think about, poor lighting, an engine being tied to framerate, and probably even fewer RPG elements.     Played all day yesterday. By the time the day was drawing to a close I was like, "what am I doing here? What's the point?" I actually went online to search for the point.     I used to think that i will always want more Fallout. I was pretty disappointed with Fallout 4 but this one feels just like a slap in face. F4 and now this have ruined my excitement for the franchise.
    As for the game - wouldn't play it even if it was free. There is nothing fun or interesting and everything feels like a chore. Even playing with friends didn't help. It just feels pointless.     So, in Fallout 76, you can't play with your friends as there is no choosing your server, you have to listen to griefers using foul language in your headset, and the controls aren't intuitive compared to previous Fallout games? Thanks!

    This is probably the stupidest game I've ever heard of. So you have to pay $60 just for the game and then additional fee each month just to play the damn thing? What a retarded thing to do. This is the last time I will be purchasing a Fallout game. I've Xbox and Playstation want me to "subscribe" just to use the things I've already bought for them, then that's me turned off of gaming forever.

    Ok, really quick I been playing the game for 3 days trying to get a feel for it. This is what I came up with.

    The game can be fun but you break out of the really fast when you can not expand your storage at all. I tried building more and deploying more but it just did not work. Потом стал видеть косяки в виде кошмарно тупых ботов и убогих диалогов, но от игры не отвернулся она порежнему мне очень нравится. There is no ideas and no content so the game is boring as s**t looks like s**t and, i can feel, smell the same.

    honestly. I love all fallout games, and I thought that a have to give a chance to new fallot. But this game has uncountable bags for now. lagging,low fps rates when a monster appears and also while the battle with them.
    I think that I will wait for a couple of months when developers will fix all bugs and will try again,
    but the game unplayable for now...

    What a terrible waste of time. Recycled engine, no npc's, endless bugs. It's like game mode for Fallout 4 that they didn't finish. First person I see is named Diqfuq, and he follows me around for about 10 minutes jumping constantly, wearing nothing. Thanks Bethesda. Wonderful. Save player 1 am I right? Worst. Purchase. Ever.

    I played Fallout 76 for about 3 hours then returned to Fallout New Vegas.
    Bethesda simply did everything i dislike in a video-game. Next.

    Grafik - Grottenschlecht. Ich brauch keine RDR2 Grafik aber diese Spiel sieht aus wie von 2012. Teilweise denkt man, man spielt Minecraft.

For instance the t-pose enemies, quest markers over dead corpses that have nothing to do with the quest, c.a.m.p setup destroying your building to force you to start over, enemies that LITERALLY do not die no matter how much you shoot or hit them, and mothman who i happened to come across and yes was the hostile variant who stood in front of me while he watched me kill him after 10 minutes of me hacking away at him. So yes the issues in this aren't small not by a long shot.

    In short it's a buggy game that lacks depth while providing the user a very unsatisfying experience overall. So while people say "It's a multiplayer spin off it's not meant for you it's meant to be played with friends", just remember that playing games with friends is enjoyable in general, you could do the same in CoD, fortnite, LoL, Overwatch or so many other games and have just as much fun and enjoyment (if not more in all) and feel better than myself for putting up with this game.    … Expand

However, this does not excuse the fact that this is a "boring as **** game. NO NPC's except quest giving robots, A boring as hell story(if you can call it a story), terrible enemy encounters, sucky at best PVP and early 2000 graphics that want to make me throw up.
    It's sad when small indie game developers are doing a far better job producing quality games with a compelling story for $20-$40 and Bethesda wants $60 for a sub-par game with in-game currency and purchases. Most games like Fallout 76 are generally free-to-play with in-game purchases, the best example is always WARFRAME.

    Don't purchase this game, find a trusted reviewer and then make your decision. Don't let Bethesda off the hook for this cheap attempt at money grabbing.    … Expand

The world is dull and lifeless, you're just as likely to have a kid screaming into his mic as you are an actual productive experience with other players (my tally currently sits at 5 of the former, 2 of the latter). Refund, here I come.

    The endgame content is grinding. The bugs and glitches are game breaking (game freezes and crashes). Roleplaying is nonexistant. No one plays the pvp. Building is locked by perk cards making it late game content for most people. Stash is too small

Nothing to do with the atmosphere of a fallout game, instead it feels empty and looks like a easy zero-effort cash grab. A $60 beta that will most likely be abandoned in 6 months

    I have bought the Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition for PS4, which does not even support 4k (Fallout 4 already supported 4k upscaling, and a newly launched game does not? (Facepalm!)
    I first became skeptical when I was only able to play the game twice during the entire beta phase. In my opinion, this game is not even in alpha status.
    Up to now, I was always satisfied with all the Bethesda games I had purchased (all top quality games!!), and now this??? Is this how you reward your loyal customers? This is truly disappointing.

    This is not just the worst game in the series but the worst game Bethesda have ever made. Strolling around looking for something to do with no real aim at all. I was apprehensive when i bought it but I love the franchise so much, i had to give it a shot. I wish i hadn't! This goes in to the list of one of the worst games i have ever played!
    Save your caps and buy RDR2 cos this just sucks :(

    A stunning embarrassment. An ancient graphics engine, some of the worst enemy AI i've ever experience, no fun, nothing to do. Waste of money cash grab on a beloved franchise.

You’re constantly following the paths of other people via audio diaries and just when you think you’re about to catch up with them and meet them, you just find a body, sometimes looking like they’ve died just minutes before you arrive.     This is the first Bethesda game that I will not be purchasing since Morrowind. The whole world seems so lifeless and lonely. It is astonishing that this game is being sold for $60. It should be a 20, maybe 30 dollar at most early access game on steam.

    This game is an unacceptably broken, creatively hollow, blatantly exploitative, and shockingly lazy execution of a fundamentally flawed concept.

    You may be able to enjoy playing Fallout 76, but Bethesda certainly do not deserve your money. Vote with your wallet, and force Bethesda to confront their own failure. DEMAND better from this venerable developer.

Congratulations Todd, you have become the new "Hello Games". Your only saving grace is you did'nt promise the moon and delivered a pebble. You promised **** and that's exactly what we got.

    I have never played a fallout game before 76. But I looked into the lore of fallout after I saw fallout 76. I was hoping the game was going to be a good pvp game. But there is almost no pvp only duels this is so stupid why can't they have pvp and pve servers. If there was more players and better pvp this game would be one of my all time favorites.     Monsters = They look cool, they're the ONLY thing that's actually okay in this God forsaken game

    Character Creation = Exactly like Fallout 4- nothing new and pretty boring

    Overall - Just get Red Dead Redemption 2, if you don't want to then look elsewhere- maybe play the
    new Spyro game, AC: Odyssey, other older games or wait until the New Year to get some

    So utterly disappointing and flawed in every possible way… The first few hours, most of it can be ignored, and occasionally the flaws can be forgotten, but only briefly before they come storming back to the forefront. An awful, boring, empty, pointless experience. There is, however, a glimmer of hope. It's worth mentioning that there has already been a Bethesda title that was equally as unimpressive: The Elder Scrolls Online - but looking at it now, it has transformed into one of the best MMOs out there. There's always the hope the Fallout 76 develops the same way and becomes something special, but for now, that seems impossible. It's a world away from that.

    Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

    Fallout 76 is the series’ Freshman introduction into the world of online, multiplayer games. As a result, we are experiencing all of the awkwardness and clumsiness associated with that season of life. It is imperfect and a bit uncomfortable, but I see opportunity for Fallout 76 to be more than it presently it - to be a truly great, rich Fallout experience.
