    Definitivamente é um dos estilos de game que mais me agradam. Ja tinha amado HeavyRain e a QuanticDream não me decepcionou com Detroit: Become Human. O arco da historia é simplesmente incrível, a fotografica do game é IMPECAVEL, realmente é aquele game que vale cada centavo pra mim. A única critica fica na aleatoriedade das entradas dos quicktime events. A tendência quando entra umaDefinitivamente é um dos estilos de game que mais me agradam.     I bought this game the day it released on PS4. I was enticed to write this review after hearing about its PC release (although I'm a bit late). I gave it another playthrough and it absolutely holds up. This is the gold standard of story games. I've seen multiple playthroughs, and have even let my friends/family who don't play video games, give it a play. They all love it. It truly is forI bought this game the day it released on PS4.     The graphics are amazing, and the atmosphere is great. My only complaint is that the story can be pretty mediocre and full of cliches. If only it had a bit more sophisticated plot, it would be no doubt, a masterpiece. Can't wait to see the next game from Quantic Dream.

Also situation in Detroit: Become Human its very same like in world now. But with one difference: NOW ITS YEAR 2020. How is Detroit pointing out on problems of differences between people and androids isAmazing game! It has lots of video cut scenes, so definitely not an open world format. I wasn’t quick enough to hit circle, triangle, square, etc in some scenes - so lead to outcomes for some people’s (like death)Really enjoyable - like an interactive movie.     Overall VERY good video game. Possibly the most "movie" like video game I've ever played. Story is phenomenal. Don't go into thinking you're going to be playing some high action shooter and you'll probably love it. Highly recommend.

    It could always be better but not by much. This game brought me to tears and it has great replay ability. It also has a choices map that shows you paths you’ve already gone down. I know this style isn’t for everyone but it blends decisions and gameplay together nicely.

    It's one of the truly branched story driven games, in which your actions have actual consequences and mistakes counts for your game progression. There is no game over in this game, so you must deal with the consequences of your errors and wrong choices. This is a great great game!

    My first playthrough I had a very negative outcome and lost nearly all of my characters. This game does a really good job of sucking you into the story and making you actually care about your characters and what happens to them. There are so many different paths to take and it was an overall great experience exploring the different outcomes and alternate endings in this game.

    Amazing game, it's my favorite game of all time in fact. Some missions can be a little dull compared to the rest of the game, but as a whole I LOVE it and different choices add replayability.

    I had low hopes for this game, but I was absolutely astounded on how amazing this game is. What a truly outstanding piece of art. There is just something special about making choices in this game, and seeing how massively they impact the story. The story in itself is great. The visuals are awesome.     Ignore the hate-reviews with a personal agenda against David Cage, there is no way in h*ll that this game is a 4/10. Not even Mighty Number 9 is a 4/10 lol. The story and writing in Detroit is good enough for a game (I loved it personally) and probably better than the story in 9

I got my PS5 this year and despite always having a PS4, I had never got around to Detroit: Become Human, with the excitement of having a PS5, I got PS Plus and found that Detroit was included for free with this subscription so felt like a sign almost that I need to play the game.

    Story - I will avoid spoiler territory of course but I have never seen a    What an absolute journey this is! I got my PS5 this year and despite always having a PS4, I had never got around to Detroit: Become Human, with the excitement of having a PS5, I got PS Plus and found that Detroit was included for free with this subscription so felt like a sign almost that I need to play the game.

    Story - I will avoid spoiler territory of course but I have never seen a game have this many branches in how it can play out. I felt very attached to our main 3 characters in Marcus, Kara and Connor as well as their individual journeys. Each of the actors who brought them to life did an amazing job and I truly was behind them the whole way. There are certain moments in the game where you need to use quick time events and doing something incorrectly enough times could lead to an outcome you don't want, and making any kind of mistake while doing these quick time events filled me with so much anxiety and that was because I truly cared about getting the best possible result for these characters, I cared that much. My only real complaint from this is that while Marcus and Kara had a goal I was behind, Connor was pretty much the opposite of what they and I wanted, and because of the conflict between these, I found it hard to play as Connor just because his ambitions didn't match those of the other two that I agreed with. Not a big problem, just something that I felt left me failing some of Connor's "missions" whereas I could've passed should I have done what the game wanted me to do. Outside of the story, just the world itself is incredible, I love how they tackle some pretty serious issues using their story elements as a way to do so, it is so interesting just to look around at everything.

    Graphics and Performance - Its hard to deny that this is easily one of the more beautiful games you will see, even just the faces of each character, so much detail is in them and you can easily detect when certain characters might be feeling a certain way based on their expressions. The overall look and design of the world is outstanding too. As for performance, I didn't have any major issues aside from one crash and some framerate problems when the game started to have some more action oriented scenes, it was a little irritating just because you had to make some quick time event moves here that led to some bad outcomes if you failed, but other than that it was fine.

    Music - A very beautiful soundtrack can be found here and if you have played games like Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls then you will know already how much care and attention is put into the music that goes with the story and world, it is pulled off really well here, maybe not as memorable as Heavy Rain but still some truly amazing scores that hit real hard during the more intense moments of the game.

    Replayability - Just a little side section here but the branching paths for the story are pretty incredible, after each chapter you are shown this huge tree of branching storylines that indicate where it could've gone, yet they leave those blank as to encourage replayability. I will say that I am not currently interested in going back and playing the game again, mainly due to me having plenty of other games to play, but for those of you who do want to have a game where so many outcomes are possible, this is the game for you. I went on Reddit after finishing the game and just had so much fun reading over other people's story outcomes. There are cases where main characters die quite early on and it is wild to see how these events could happen differently to my own. I am mostly satisfied with the ending I received, I feel that the game truly had consequences based on the decisions I made which is a great thing.

    Final Review - I enjoyed this game so much that I would very much be down for a tv series based on this world, or even a set of novels. There is so much more to this that I want to explore and learn. Throughout the whole game we learn about a war between the US and Russia but it isn't the focus point of the story, just a side thing you can read about on various magazine articles, but there is clearly a lot that can be taken from this idea and put into something else. This game is highly recommended from me, especially if you really enjoy story based games like this.    … Expand

    Very engaging story and gameplay, I feel like the game is a bit short and at the later part of the game it had some glitches and problems even when playing on PS5. But that's only minuses I can give, apart from that a fantastic game.

    This is a really amazing video game. The writing and acting are superb and the fact that you get to make so many decisions that affect the way the story plays out makes Detroit Become Human one of the most immersive games out there.

It has good characters, kinda mixes the good in heavy rain with some characters arcs but also the good in beyond two souls and they get likeable characters as well.     I've never liked a choice based game due to the tedious process, no clear impact on your choices and no action at all but not for this game. This game create way more impactful choices as you can see it right away the cause of your choices. The performance of the Voice Actor is phenomenal. They perfectly represent every emotional and intense situation in the game.

    My personal favorite is the arc of Connor as you can do lot of things like investigation, a lot of action and negotiation for sure.

    My only complaint for this game is about the clarity of your choices which tend leads you to a negative situation without you intended to. For example: The word "determined" in every choices seems like a positive one but if you play the game you know how "determined" always ruined the situation and your relationship with each characters in the game.

    Other than that, it's an amazing game and have a very high replayability as well. Must try.    … Expand

    This is a masterpiece. We all know this by now. The story is beautifully crafted and is definitely the best work out out by it’s developer, Quantic Dream. The story is very heartfelt and definitely relates to real world issues. The game challenges your morals and it succeeds at this very well. The motion capture is nearly flawless and the actor’s really gave it their all.

The sheer amount of endings and different possible scenes we can get from Detroit is honestly impressive even for today's standards and it tackles the point-and-click adventure genre with much more complexity than everything else on the market for its time and today. With the immense amount of different endings and interactions we can find with these characters, its story feels more reflective on you than any other game of its kind.
    The messages regarding family and compassion were heartwarming and admirable. This is a game I believe all gamers should play at least once for its message and narrative which impressed me greatly regardless of its shortcomings in certain aspects of its characters and ideas.    … Expand

    I bought the game and completed it and I must say that it is fantastic because in each chapter there are more endings. The thing I like is the choice of behaviors that you decide. Even if it costs too much it is worth a nice 9. I will always play this game.

    There are plenty of reviews which praise the graphics or the gameplay, so I want to take a slightly more    I really enjoyed playing this game despite having a ho-hum reaction to prior QuanticDreams titles (Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls). I found myself not wanting to stop and when I did have to stop I found myself thinking about the decisions I made and decisions that were yet to be made.

    There are plenty of reviews which praise the graphics or the gameplay, so I want to take a slightly more philosophical view in this review. This will be a bit lengty, so bear with me.

    Looking back at the time spent playing Detroit: Become Human, I would have to say my biggest complaint with the game is that there's just no subtlety in the way the conflict between Android and Humans is portrayed.

    With exception to the one chapter between Android Markus and his Human owner Karl, every Human/Android interaction is negative or abusive. Even as you walk down the street you see Human owners verbally and physically abusing their Android helpers. When interacting directly with Humans as Kara, Connor, or Markus, there's always a sneer or an underlying skepticism, no matter how peaceful or normal you act.

    The closest we get to a positive Human/Android interaction is the relationship between Lieutenant Hank Anderson and Connor. But that starts off very abusive and only turns into a positive experience if Connor makes the right set of decisions.

    The game bludgeons the player with this situation where Humans are complete garbage towards Androids. Anyone with a single shred of empathy would side with freeing the Androids given the situation as presented.

    Additionally, when Markus begins freeing the Androids and granting them free will, all of them follow him without question. Not a single one of them makes the decision to stay with their Human owners. Historically we know this is inaccurate and in all cases where a group is oppressed there are some who feel loyal enough (or otherwise compelled) to stay with their oppressors. Not a single Android in Detroit: Become Human does this, not even when Markus explicitly offers the choice. Except as a vague "Public Opinion" meter, no Humans among the general public support the Androids' cause throughout the course of the game, even when the Androids protest peacefully. No Android/Human collaboration. No Humans marching with Androids in their own version of Android Lives Matter. The game pits Humans on one side and Androids on the other.

    I feel like the situation was too binary where the player's only real choice was to determine if the Androids would end up as bad as, or better than, the Humans. Maybe that was the point of the exercise but having the sides aligned as either/or muted the overall message, in my opinion.

    Otherwise, this was a fantastic story where I felt compelled to play through it completely three times and reload varying checkpoints to see different endings another three beyond that. I hesitate to say it's a $60 value but it's definitely worth picking up and playing multiple times. I'm torn between an 8 and a 9, so for the purposes of Metacritic I'm rounding down to an 8, but would give it a solid 8.5 if I could do half scores.    … Expand

    Replayability - It's there in spades. LOTS of potential branches to follow with a visualization of your taken path. However like most Cage games there is a larger narrative being explained that can only be affected so much. Still, well worth two or three plays to see more of the stand-out performances.

    Verdict - A mash-up of David Cages finest work. Of the three narratives you can see a little of each previous Cage title. Kara has the emotional family driven narrative of Heavy Rain, Conner is the detective drama from Indigo Prophecy and Markus shows the supernatural signs of technological instability - nodding back to the supernatural presence in Beyond Two Souls. It really feels like Cage took all the elements that worked in those titles, and lost those that didn't for an overall enjoyable experience. 8/10    … Expand

The story was ok, but that wasn't what made this game so good, it is the exhilarating decisions that you have to make, especially during the timed sections, I don't remember when a game made me so stressed and so exhilarated at the same time during decision time. You always have the thought of characters dying throughout the game, and that ups the ante. Now I believe this is the first truly authentic "your descisions will impact the story" type of game. It's not 100% like that , but some decisions you make will completely change how one scene plays out for one player and another for someone who makes a different choice. (There seems to be about 3-5 different outcomes on average for each chapters; not including the endings). Dialogue options can be unlocked for one player, but not for another if some clues are missed. Multiple endings, based on your choices...you get the point. And surprisingly, this game has some longevity for a interactive game, the flowchart peaks my interest, and you can either play through the game twice, or mess around and see how different decisions would change the outcome. The only con is that the theme of this game never evolves or innovates in its genre. Other than that, it's one of the best interactive game to date.… Expand

On the downside, the game sometimes felt too melodramatic though and a bit slow. Overall, it had an interesting narrative take on the future of androids.

The game concerns the world in the near future, when people own lifelike robots. These robots are popular with the wealthy but the working class hate them for taking their jobs. Now, perhaps due to a new upgrade, some of the robots are gaining a sense of right and wrong, and wills of their own. The game follows a few different robots to a point where their paths converge. One robot is a young woman whose employer is abusive to his daughter. Another is a caretaker for a wealthy artist whose no-good son is jealous of the robot. A third is a detective who is partnered with another detective who hates robots. The visuals are amazing. The acting is great. The stories are intriguing and at times very suspenseful. The game consists of walking around, finding clues, speaking with other characters, and at times has action sequences that produce quite an adrenalin rush. The game resembles traditional point and click adventures except it has no real puzzles or, the puzzles that do exist are so simple I wouldn't personally even call them puzzles.

    The game also shows you at the end of each chapter, a map indicating what you did in that chapter as well as where you could have done certain things but did not. The things you didn't do are revealed by blank boxes. There are no spoilers in the flowchart. Also, when you speak to characters, blank dialogue choices will appear to indicate that - if you had done certain things in the past - additional dialogue choices would have been available to you. The game also has multiple endings based on choices you make while playing.

    It is a great game, with superlative story, visuals, and acting. I would have given it a 10 if it was not marred by one very bad design flaw. On-screen prompts indicate every little thing you can do. If I can open a door by rotating my thumbstick a certain way, a symbol on-screen will tell me that when I get near the door. If I can pick up a book by pushing my thumbstick up, a symbol on screen will tell me that when I get near the book. If I am looking for someone and knock on their door and ring their doorbell, words will pop up on the screen telling me to discover another way inside. Ya' think?

    The designers might respond, "Yes but in many situations the gesture you need to make with the thumbstick or with the entire controller, is unique to that situation, so we have to give you these symbols."

    My answer to that is, Most of the time the gestures are consistent. Sometimes they're not. The designers should have made it so gestures are consistent so players can learn them in one tutorial chapter and then be on their own. If a particular quirky moment requires something different, OK in that instance show a symbol on screen, but only in those very few quirky moments.

    I cannot even turn these symbols off. They should have made it so you can turn them off and then by toggling a press of the left or right stick, I could turn them on if I need them. But having your hand held all the way through a game is extremely annoying.

    That said, Detroit: Become Human is still a solid 8. It is also unlike any other game you can buy. Yes, it is squarely in the adventure genre (true adventure, not action adventure, meaning it has a lot of plot and is not about action, though it has action scenes here and there) but within that genre Detroit: Become Human takes an approach that is unique and more story-driven than any game (aside from games by the same company) that I can think of.    … Expand

    As the story progresses however, there's nothing left of being an android - they have no identity other than being 1:1 humans with android bodies.

    Now this game is more of a walking simulator than an actual traditional game, but the story is so good it still deserves your time. Its not that long though so a rent is perfect for this title. Check it out on redbox or wherever you can rent games near you.    Great fun, really cool story, incredible graphics. Now, if that doesnt make you want to play it, I dont know what else to tell you.

    Like with past Quantic Dream games, this is a story driven game that changes based on the decisions you make. The story is intriguing and fun to experience, and unlike past games by Quantic Dreams, there is no breaking point that ruins the story completely.

    If you've played Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls you can expect a similar control scheme to those games with a few sections where you control the characters and explore the areas you are in, others where you are pretty much just watching scenes and choosing what you want characters to say or do (like Walking Dead games, Mass Effect etc.) and there are QTE's that rely on your reactions.

    The writing overall is good, the acting is good and it keeps you engaged till the end. I'd say it's the best game by Quantic Dreams to date!    … Expand

    The game is like a good futuristic movie. The gameplay is weak for sure, but I really like Conor's gameplay. It plays like a detective game, and I love detective game. The characters are outstanding and memorable, they feel very real and not a video game character. The graphic is awesome too, perhaps is the best of the PS4. Basically this is like a telltale game but with better polish.

    Detroit: Become Human delivers a story with a ton of possible choices, and a lot of questions for a player to bear afterward. If you like it when games make you think about them after you play them, this is the game for you. Stunning visuals and music score, make you forget about some weaker points of the game. But all in all, it is an enjoyable experience you should not miss.

    Detroit: Become Human looks and sounds great, and includes key player choices throughout, though it could have benefited greatly from a tighter script. While it’s commendable that Quantic Dream tried to cover hot-button issues in a big-budget video game, it works better when focused on the personal character moments than the bigger themes that don’t dig deep enough to make a meaningful impact.

    Although the narrative is fairly linear, there are enough branching paths over the course of the game to make it feel like your actions matter. That allows Detroit to still be fun even on multiple playthroughs – and for an interactive movie, that’s a rare praise. [Issue#231, p.68]
