Nov 9, 2017There is no real reply value, the lore is all over the place. Just don't get it. The expansion which will be out soon, i will wait to see if it is worth it.
-
Feb 1, 2018It a copy of D1. Shame on Activision and especialized magazines that put 7, 8 or even 9 to this garbage. If is not enough, the cancer of videogame industry: microtransactions...
-
May 10, 2018A huge disappointment and retreat from what was accomplished in Destiny 1. Destiny 2 was watered down, shortened, stripped of any power fantasy and retconned much of the lore/story. Do not buy.
-
Sep 26, 2018The game is great and but i want to make it beter by suggesting that they add a report menu also we get confused of story and pehaps there should be an article about lore too

Sep 17, 2017Far too many microtransactions,MC is mute, nothing from the first game is carried over, locked loadouts on raids,no new enemies. This "sequel" sucks and is not even a real sequel, just an expansion of the first game.
-
Sep 9, 2017I am reading through all the comments after buying the game without opening it. This is actually the very first time I've returned a still sealed game in the past 25 years of video gaming! Good to see that the game community demands more better gameplay and creativity and giving such 'blockbusters' and unfinished eyecandy games **** reviews!
-
Sep 10, 2017boring,same game, port,fps bad, cutre,bad,lag,beta bad,cracking,down,fps slowdown,etc.
I think what makes most of us so disappointed is the enormous potential here, ruined by Activision and their nonsense. There is a wonderful game in there somewhere but these developers are only interested in your money . -
60 euros cuesta, SESENTA EUROS.
-
Sep 11, 2017Overpriced DLC, not really enough to call it a sequel. Yeah graphics are better buy, come on, upgrading visuals is made by game engines so you dont even need to pay for it.

Sep 10, 2017Bought this game thinking I'd give Destiny a second chance at winning me back but it's the worst $60 I've ever spent. A game cannot get anymore bland than this.
-
Sep 9, 2017This game is unplayable on PS4 Pro and Bungie has not responded on the issues (Error CE-34878-0 and GABBAGE) since the launch (4 days and counting). I would not recommend anyon buying this for that system as of right now.
-
Sep 11, 2017Destiny 1.5 mega DLC priced as new game. Delivered a nice campaign but your speechless guardian ruins the entire story and makes you look retarded. The reuse of guns, enemies, sounds, etc is so ridiculously obvious. Fan boys and new fans will love it, everybody else who has played the first one and is a bit critical will hate it.
-
Sep 9, 2017Microtransaction , season pass , 30fps on consoles , same UI , no didecated server .... well done Bungie well done
destiny 2 is a beautiful game but borin and hollow, Destiny could actually be a fantastic game but not when bungie just care about the profit and about the fun -
Sep 10, 2017Same old same old. Destiny DLC nothing more. Usual enemies on repeat for those mugs who can't see through the loot lust mechanics Bungie have on repeat again. Where's the decent content? It's only unlockable after you put 50 hours in on repeat. Being traded straight away
-

-
Sep 11, 2017This game is a crap. Missions are dull and stupid. Last less than 8h. Then you just repeat same content over and over again. Then you buy DLC with... exact same **** And then you buy more DLC because "season pass" do not cover all expansions.
Waiting for doors to open is back. Destiny 1.5 at it's finest. -
Sep 10, 2017So sad. Just another mindless graphics fest, with rehashed concept and substance. Also, comes complete with glitches and issues. Thought Bungie was above this, but sadly, seems all game developers are falling to wayside of the bum. Lazy, uninspired, lack of attention to detail, lack of QA, etc. As long as people keep supporting these games by buying, you'll keep getting ripped off with junk.
-
Sep 11, 2017There's about 8 hours of campaign and then you get to spend eternity running the same 3 strikes over and over, it's Destiny with less content, better graphics, and microtransactions nothing has changed and I'm sure the DLC will be just as disappointing as they were in the original destiny.

Jan 19, 2018Dev apology simulator. They got their money and act like they want to fix the game but they won't. We will all be waiting for Destiny 3 hoping it will be better but too little too late. Worth $10 tops because within a few more months will be unplayable without expansions, expansions that won't add much.
-
Mar 14, 2019This game was free and I had to put it down after 15 hours...It's derivative and bland...It's bubblegum that has lost it's flavor

i ****ing hate it.
don't play. save yourself. -
Aug 26, 2021Glorified gacha game. Don't get close to this trojan horse of gaming, real developers aren't this cheap

Feb 14, 2018Its a AAA first person shooter MMO, that manages to have dumb AI, A very dumbed down UI and a story that makes Wolfenstien look Shakespearean. Systems have been designed to treat the player as some kind of cash point for the publisher. The gun play feels great, but this is the last time I buy a game made by Bungie.
-
Jul 20, 2020Neds to be playable by single individuals. Without out the need for fireteams.
-
Dec 8, 2017Destiny 2 was good and quite funny... but then... here it comes the DLC Paywall for vanilla content of Destiny 2: if you own Destiny 2 and you don't buy the DLC Curse of Osiris you can throw the game in the trash. ARE YOU SERIOUS Bungie? I need to pay another 20 bucks for a recycled copy paste - and 2 hours campaign after paying the full price of the main game?
-
Dec 28, 2017This is what happens when you become your own biggest fan.
Most everything that made Destiny 1 a success was left out of Destiny 2.
Some of the features you will find in Destiny 2 are:
No end game content.
Pay to play loot system.
XP throttling
Recycled content.
Another uninteresting/ non coherent story.
Destiny 2 felt more like a cheap DLC than it did a new game. -

Jun 23, 2023Boring combat, confusing system and frankly illegal paywall setup to maximise profit over consumer.
I've poured maybe 50 hours of repetitive gameplay into this with 0 growth as I refuse (and frankly don't understand) how to use their billing system as everything seems to have 4 or more separate charges to work! -

Nov 1, 2017I played it on PS4 slim. Stunning graphics and good open world sync. But its very short gameplay and Multiplayer (crucible) is balanced but not fun at all. Game gets boring within a month. I wish i could get my money back.
-
Sep 12, 2020The sequel turned out better, but for me only an infusion from the first part. Now the graphics look really good and the content is right. But from the gameplay it's just the old warmed up soup. Nobody needs or wants that.
-
A message is displayed at startup screen - "Black Liver Matter". I think NO, that statement is not valid. -
Apr 3, 2022This to is a Bungie game, it's as **** as Halo series and Destiny. I can't understand why these **** game creators aren't bankrupt yet, they only make mediocre and **** games.

Dec 25, 2017Its a expansion from Destiny 1, the only thing new is that this time they at least try to tell a story, but its a crapy one full of holes. So you get to once againt grind to the max level with no relevant activities to the plot, once you reach lvl 20 once again you grind to get some gear you dont hate, and them you wait for a DLC so you have to grind all again with adition to the plot.
-
Feb 1, 2018Regular shooter game. Terrible RPG shoter. The hype die after 2 weeks. Play warframe for more content, best gameplay, best variety and free.
-
Sep 7, 2017Pre Destiny 1. No new classes, anime-like graphics.
I am so disappointed.... I have no word to say. I da lotsa concerns about 1st part. but I played it 3 years straight.
After 5 hours I just wanna sell this game out... -

May 15, 2018Just as bad as Destiny 1. The game is a boring, repetitive grind that has one of the most generic stories of the year. It's a shame, because the gun-play and some of the worlds are pretty awesome.
-
Feb 3, 2019Bungie try to sell Destiny 2... but , this is Destiny 1...
absolutely nothing new, they promised to improve the quality of end game content in forasken - this did not happen -

-
Sep 1, 2022Ok if you haven't burned out on the looter-shooter-FPS-RPG genre, but be warned... you must buy expansions or else you can not accurately level past certain points in the game, and every time there is an expansion it's over in about 6 hours.

Jan 16, 2019Bungie does not listen to the community.
Hundreds! of problems and bad decisions from balance, ressources, matchmaking to UI, RNG and progression... not worth my time listing all of them. -
Oct 31, 2017Destiny 1.3
Oct 28, 2017Truly Disappointing. Tries to spread itself too thin, lacks overall direction. With such a huge budget, it should have been done justice to the obviously talented people who worked on it. I blame marketing and executive decisions.

Nov 2, 2017Decent fun PVE at times but lacks hardcore on content currently for a 60$ game not worth the price tag....what pushed me over thee edge couple PVP matches three level 2 and me level 20 vs 4 level 20's what a joke.

Nov 18, 2017A game worse than Destiny 1 in almost all aspects, same characters, same weapons, same enemy, much less possibilities, and paying € 70 more .. a scam.
-
Nov 19, 2017My main reaction to this game is the frustration of seeing how much missed potential there is for the franchise. There is so much more that Bungie can be doing with Destiny, and I was hoping they'd hit the nail on some of them with D2, but alas it's not the case. It's like no one at Bungie plays any MMOs that have really well designed customization and progression systems.

Dec 10, 2017Destiny 2 seems to have been better than the original. Then Activision shows they're colors. Microstransactions for things we had in the first game, then when the dlc came out, they locked things we used to be able to do behind a pay wall. Scummy at best.

Feb 13, 2018Destiny 1 was one of the best games I've ever played. It was repeatative, it was grindy, but it was damn good. Destiny 2 lost all the charm of the ancestor. It's too casual, the grind became boring (lol). The raid is a solid piece of disapointment and it's very bad in general. Curse of Osiris even made it worse. Pity

Apr 28, 2018After the previous game I thought they would learnt their lesson, but it is still the same repetitiveness grind but even worse than the previous one at launch. Towards the end of Destiny 1 it wasn't that bad but this one is a step-back. I don't really see any improvements from the previous one... Very very disappointing since I wanted to give this game a fair chance

Nov 17, 2018Can be a fun game. However it feels like in order to do good in PVP you have to have the latest expansion to get the better weapons. Also there seems to be quite a bit of lag at times.

Jan 25, 2020This game is so boring and Grindy that I would rather play with marballs. It's even more boring if you are playing solo. I would not recommend.
-
Apr 21, 2020Eververse, reduced EXP gain (relevant to Eververse), Raid Revive Tokens, recycled contents (i.e. Shadow Keep), chopping content into pieces and releasing them as 'fresh new' for Destiny 2 (Machine Gun, Crucible Game Modes, etc), corporate language bullsh*t ('We are going to do better.'), and more.

Jan 23, 2018Even if Bungie backtracks on some of these horrendous missteps, there’s evidence that the dev team is either flailing around without a clear idea of the experience they want to present, or even worse, they’re happy to offer the least amount of mediocre content possible until the player base starts pushing back. When free-to-play titles like Warframe and Let it Die seem monumentally more generous and offer vastly more entertainment value than a triple-A sixty dollar release built with a budget large enough to feed whole continents, it’s clear that something has gone horribly wrong.
-
Dec 11, 2017It’s this sense of streamlined player experience that really defines Destiny 2. Where the first game had you grinding for hours just to experience increasingly diminishing returns, this is a sequel that trims away its processor’s frustrations, firmly putting fun first.
-
Oct 19, 2017Destiny 2 is tough to compare to other shooters or games, but it is evidently a better title than part 1. The campaign is longer, the progression makes more sense, the structure is more satisfying and the sheen and splendor on the various planets entices even more. Destiny is comparable with its predecessor after the add-on The Taken King, and is therefore a more solid foundation for the coming months of content.
