    It a copy of D1. Shame on Activision and especialized magazines that put 7, 8 or even 9 to this garbage. If is not enough, the cancer of videogame industry: microtransactions...

    A huge disappointment and retreat from what was accomplished in Destiny 1. Destiny 2 was watered down, shortened, stripped of any power fantasy and retconned much of the lore/story. Do not buy.

    I give this game a 0/10.
    I initially bought Destiny (1) back when it was promised to be a 10 year life game. With constant updates and dlc, instead 3 years later, and $200 - $300 later, may I add, we get Destiny 1.5, the very lackluster and clone of Destiny.

    There is nothing different, game changing or even challenging in the vanilla release of this game.

    The story, is boring, even worse than the poor dialogue provided by Dinklage.

    I've only played this game for about 10 hours and it is already just so boring, a repetitive grind fest, for one time use shader's and lackluster guns that all share the same sounds from the first game.

    This should have been released as a dlc as promised with the initial game or perhaps a price tag of $10.

    Far too many microtransactions,MC is mute,nothing from the first game is carried over,locked loadouts on raids,no new enemies. This "sequel" sucks and is not even a real sequel,just an expansion of the first game.

    I am reading through all the comments after buying the game without opening it. This is actually the very first time I've returned a still sealed game in the past 25 years of video gaming! Good to see that the game community demands more better gameplay and creativity and giving such 'blockbusters' and unfinished eyecandy games **** reviews!

    boring,same game, port,fps bad, cutre,bad,lag,beta bad,cracking,down,fps slowdown,etc.

    I think what makes most of us so disappointed is the enormous potential here, ruined by Activision and their nonsense. There is a wonderful game in there somewhere but these developers are only interested in your money .

60 euros cuesta, SESENTA EUROS.

    Destiny 1.5 mega DLC priced as new game. Delivered a nice campaign but your speechless guardian ruins the entire story and makes you look retarded. The reuse of guns, enemies, sounds, etc is so ridiculously obvious. Fan boys and new fans will love it, everybody else who has played the first one and is a bit critical will hate it.

    Same old same old. Destiny DLC nothing more. Usual enemies on repeat for those mugs who can't see through the loot lust mechanics Bungie have on repeat again. Where's the decent content? It's only unlockable after you put 50 hours in on repeat. Being traded straight away

    A "live service" money grab is the first thing that came to mind when I started playing the free download via PS+ (another story). Destiny 2 was purposely designed to extract cash from a player base that had probably already spent a **** ton of money on what should be a high end free to play game. Yes, free to play games usually have poop for graphics.

    Don't get me wrong I spent around 30 hrs having fun and grinding for my woodland armor set, but in the end I got bored and deleted the game. Thanks for the free ride Bungie even though there is no way I am going to spend 40 usd on a game I can't play when the servers are down.

    So sad. Just another mindless graphics fest, with rehashed concept and substance. Also, comes complete with glitches and issues. Thought Bungie was above this, but sadly, seems all game developers are falling to wayside of the bum. Lazy, uninspired, lack of attention to detail, lack of QA, etc. As long as people keep supporting these games by buying, you'll keep getting ripped off with junk.

The crap in this game is bright engrams AKA loot-boxes and their unique use shaders which will be consumed very fast because many weapons you loot look like crap on purpose, they look like second-hand weapons with scratches and scrapped paint. This is only one of the ways I noticed they push you into buying more. I only bought this game to try it out on PC, if the first would have been on PC already then I wouldn't have touched it. On that note the game runs buttery smooth in 4K and it is well polished. This time the story actually got me listening and at times it has it funny moments especially with Failsafe.
    To people saying that you don't have to buy loot-boxes if you don't want to even more when they are cosmetic, that is fine as long as game don't go out of their way to push you into buying like giving you crap and making you look like a hobo. My Destiny 1 character looked awesome without paying a single cent more, my Destiny 2 character looks like it is dressed from the garbage bin.

    Pro's
    Performs 60fps stable on PC
    Music is great
    Visuals is good
    Raid is kinda fun (only allowed to run once per char for loot...)

    Cons
    Nothing to do after weeklies besides endless public event grind.
    You are effectively buying Destiny 1 with less content and nerfed/balanced guns.
    There is Microtransaction but to be fair Bungie put nothing of value on there except fireteam medallions which can be earned for free.

    Basically the main theme of Destiny 1 was how to gate content because of the voracious speed that players consume content. The same holds true in Destiny 2. All the enemies are the same as in the first Destiny. You have a game with excellent gameplay but no system to incentivize playing the game beyond the weeklies.

    Save your money this is an expensive game for 0 content.

    I bought Destiny 2 for it's PVP, however the game is PAY TO WIN.

    I would believe ANY major developer in this day and age would understand this is a poor way to do business.

    I fully understand locking new maps, skins, and missions behind a paywall, I understand the developer desire to make money but a game should NEVER lock abilities and weapons that other real life people can Lord over you behind a pay wall, it is not a fair process.

    Bungie allows people who pay extra to get devastating weapons like Dead Man's Tale that can easily kill and frustrated players who do not desire or are unable to pay for this upgrade.

    They also add inherent class abilities available to anyone who pays, such as in The Beyond Light expansion with the ability to completely freeze other players.

    Not being able to move AT ALL is a huge advantage and makes the game unplayable. It's frustrating to have such huge disadvantages ADDED to the base game which can not be overcome unless you pay more money. If you have already paid money for Destiny 2, you should not be forced to pay more to compete effectively.

    Either every PVP player should get all new the abilities and have the potential to access all new weapons, OR players should only play with people with the same abilities and weapons, OR give us our money back.

    I can no longer play comfortably as I could when I originally bought the game, and changing the effectiveness of people who pay to make it easier for them and harder for those who don't is a very fraudulent and reprehensible act.

The name of the (end) game here is the fact that everything has been majorly streamlined and that all reputation factions have just been turned into token venders for loot that does nothing beyond looking cool. The guns have had their random rolls taken away, meaning that all versions of the same gun are now the same, eliminating a larger, albeit cheaper, way for players to keep grinding for the best stuff. Even the Iron Banner, the Holy Grail of the original PvP system and the epitome of rare items from the original game, has been neutered by this "casuals first" loot system. And with the ability to go from level 1-20 in about 4 hours, the main draw for Bungie, the new integrated story line, is basically just a drop in the pan. It almost feels like Bungie never really properly planned for the end game, beyond the initial 6 or 7 dungeons and the fairly average raid that came along with it. And while they have done a few things to extend the life of the end game with faction rallies and the aforementioned Iron Banner, there's just nothing for those people who got through the fairly short story to accomplish. It personally only took me 3 weeks, mostly of me just playing on Tuesday the reset day, to get my first character to the max power level in the game, and that only involved the few short major quests that unlock on reset day. I've no desire to do the raid again after completing it once as the items are mostly cosmetic, and Bungie seems to be content with waiting until the next "season" starts to put more cooler items into the game but we have no idea when that will be or how long it'll take to get them. Best thing I can recommend for someone in my position with the game is to take a step back from it for awhile. Destiny 1 really got rolling when they started adding expansions down the road to it before it became a fully realized game. Destiny 2 has seemingly taken the same path, with vanilla Destiny not amounting to much but the potential is there for something grand. I can only hope it doesn't take as long to get the ball rolling for the sake of the community. I don't see too many people sticking this out once they get through the inital story line and a few days at max level. Hopefully the expansion can add new end game content but I would warn people not to get their hopes up too high at this early stage in the games cycle. I'll definitely be coming back to this game in the future but I've finished playing this version of Destiny 2 and I've no desire to go back to it, no matter how much fun I actually have had with the gameplay. Hidden features force the player into spending more money - an incredibly shadey and off putting practice. End game comes too quick and leaves the player with nothing to do Expand

    The sequel turned out better, but for me only an infusion from the first part. Now the graphics look really good and the content is right. But from the gameplay it's just the old warmed up soup. Nobody needs or wants that.

    It has some upticks, but is mostly the same mundane interactions, bad writing, and limp delivery up to the end. The DLCs are expensive and deliver next to nothing of value. Once again they try to pitch the third expansion outside the season pass as the miracle cure, for just another $40... oh but this time you also will want to spend another $30 to stay relevant with the annual pass. Bringing the necessary total to keep playing the game in season 2 to $170.

    It's not worth it. Not by any stretch. Save your money and more importantly save your time.

    Its a expansion from Destiny 1, the only thing new is that this time they at least try to tell a story, but its a crapy one full of holes. So you get to once againt grind to the max level with no relevant activities to the plot, once you reach lvl 20 once again you grind to get some gear you dont hate, and them you wait for a DLC so you have to grind all again with adition to the plot.

This is one uniquely kind of game, that is relatively good looking but has such a crappy aftertaste in almost any aspect (totally incoherent and blundered story, bugs, design faults, willful programmed obsolescence, deceitful game mechanics etc etc etc), that you can not stop the urge rinsing your mouth with powerful disinfectant, as with every new bite and extension you want to vomit more out than you already ate. DO NOT BUY THAT CRAP.

    It would not be fair to give that game a 0, because it can be fun playing it initially, yet after a short while (yeah the so called story line is rather quickly done...) and when one has grinded long enough to get the character classes and sub-classes to max, one quickly gets the epiphany that that was it. One raid in the endgame with a prestige mode that does not really get you better stats loot, repetitive strikes and heroic strikes and nightfall activities that result in no big loot gains but having ridiculous features in it, so you only can play them more or less with pro players only because of some really bad modifier combos.

    That game with all its bugs and design failures, and with the implementation of unseen and unscrupulous monetization mechanics, that just aim to squeeze and squeeze more and more money out of you - the buyer- , and all the game gives you is that bitter aftertaste in your mouth, as if you licked a load of dirt; it is a game that will get you on the long run into that depressive state where you pull and pull the lever of the one armed bandit of game mechanics and loot boxes and hope for the win and satisfaction that never comes. Just more crap more or less openly dumped on you.

    If you are a masochist that enjoys pain, then that is the game for you. It will keep you grinding for nothing. It will give you crucible matches you constantly yell about and scream in anger, because Bungie implemented a peer to peer model so they have saved bucks on their infrastructure and server capacity and optimized their cash flow.

    Yes, the cash flow that goes from your pocket to their managers bonuses being so innovative to sell you AAA priced faulty and buggy software, that gets you to vomit and yell on a constant pace like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

    They have some great additions to the game such as PVP Gambit, but normal PVP is total waste of time unless you spend your life in this game. Being at level 530 and still getting one shotted with a pistol across the map gets frustrating quick. The game is still a grind fest and you'll get tired of it quick.

    But I will still give it a middle of the road rating only because it was free on the PS store for a while, but no way in hell I would pay $60 for the original then all the unjustified DLC and absolutely inexcusable **** micro-transactions. Criticizing the game is beating a dead horse; it suffices to say the game is boring, somehow not as good as the first, and will probably be fun to play in January of 2020. I say in the last paragraph originally that this game isn't a 2; in the past 5 months I've probably played 10 hrs and that's about 5 apiece for the DLCs - I get so bored that even half of that time I'm just playing to make sure it's as bad as I think it is...then I play basically anything else and have fun.

    You know how when you used to do something wrong, and your parents would tell you "I'm not mad at you...I'm disappointed" and somehow that makes you feel worse? Well, Destiny 2 disappoints. It has such massive potential yet seems to let us down at nearly every turn.

    In PvP, the game modes went from 3v3, 6v6, and 6 player all-for-one brawl, to just 4v4. Literally one game mode (and this is a trend where I describe something good from Destiny one that, for seemingly no reason whatsoever, is removed from the sequel). Strategy is centered around teamshots, which in and of itself is not necessarily bad. But with only one PvP format there's no room for developing much of a playstyle; just follow your team around and pick off enemies that stray too far from the pack - rinse and repeat. The skill curve is much lower now which I must admit is actually favorable for me because I am absolutely garbage in the Crucible.

    When it comes to PvE, Destiny is a "grindy" game and always has been. However, most of the time during Destiny 1 the grind was fun and worthwhile because you would get legitimately powerful, interesting, and different gear from putting in your work. The key here to emphasize is the different loot you'd get from different activities; it actually mattered whether you were patrolling an area, doing strikes, etc. In Destiny 2 it just doesn't really make a difference. Everyone gets the same weapon 53 times, demolishes it for materials to trade in to the Gunsmith for yet another random weapon you already got 53 times.

    In particular the weapon "rolls" from the first game made so much more sense and gave players a reason to stay focused on an activity. And these rolls made it ok for when you got the same weapon drop, because maybe this time it would have the stats you were looking for.

    Easily the most frustrating thing about Destiny 2 is how often I'll play it and think about how the first game did something better. And I know this isn't a review of the DLC, but goodness gracious what an absolute step in the wrong direction that was. The silver lining is that Destiny 1 took a while to develop and really shine; it is possible (although hope is fading month by month...) that the game can change and grow into the experience we were all looking for in the first place.

    I have to explain I'm giving this a 5 because it is still a pretty decent experience for a limited amount of gameplay hours. It is by no means what I would consider a 1 or 2 rating, which is something I'd reserve for a game that's either broken, derivative, shallow, or some combination of those. It's just so confusing as to what exactly they were trying to achieve by stripping out several great aspects of the first game, and replacing them with either something worse or nothing at all.

One of the reasons you don't care about them is because they are never really explained at all there's no backstory to any of them. Bungies insistence on having MMO elements in this game does not help at all in fact it actually holds them back since they have to try to balance guns toward both PvE and PvP which you can clearly notice when using many of the weapons in the game. Some are quite clearly meant more for PvE than PvP and vice versa. The PvP multiplayer is ludicrously unbalanced but slightly better than it was in Destiny 1. The random loot drops are only slightly better than they were in the first Destiny. The bosses are bland and require little to no effort to defeat since they are just bullet sponges that make you feel like your shooting a BB gun. I tried so hard to like Destiny 1 and 2 but the harder I tried the more I hated them. Such potential and such a high budget wasted. The only positives that I can mention are as follows: the soundtrack much like in Destiny 1 is great so good in fact that it often outperforms what's happening on screen. The gunplay is also great and will keep you playing for more than just 20 minutes before getting bored but of course it's a shooter so good gunplay is to be expected not necessarily praised. Expand

    Destiny 2 is a beautiful game. It runs smoothly, it's graphically impressive, and the soundtrack is amazing. I find the matchmaking more entertaining than the first game, and the campaign is much more captivating.

    On the other hand, there are some issues I have with this game. For starters, the time limit on Nightfall strikes simply adds greater frustration to the game and is a cheap way to increase the difficulty. It also makes it a requirement to have a full fireteam to complete the raids. In the first game, I was able to complete raids and strikes on my own, but that is now impossible. This is frustrating because there are not always people available to play with me, making people with a busy schedule (such as a university student) less likely to ever complete strikes or raids. The other complaint I have for this game is the fact that shaders have been turned into consumables. This is an obvious attempt at a cash grab, and there are no communities who like having things taken away from them that were available in the first game.

    Other than these two complaints, this games is extremely entertaining, and I am definitely be looking forward to the upcoming expansion.

    My main reaction to this game is the frustration of seeing how much missed potential there is for the franchise. There is so much more that Bungie can be doing with Destiny, and I was hoping they'd hit the nail on some of them with D2, but alas it's not the case. It's like no one at Bungie plays any MMOs that have really well designed customization and progression systems.

    Right now Bungie should fix the thigs that were not broken in the first place:
    PvP 1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 6v6 should be back in the game
    Iron Banner e.t.c must be power level-dependant as before, also gearing up should make up for more XP (like in the first game);
    Token system should be abandoned once and for all,
    They should bring back vendor levels and gear;
    Shards, etc, some level of grind for weapons/gear/ upgrading what you already have must be brought back into the game;
    Godroll mechanics (random weapon perks) must be brought back;
    Raid/ ToO / IB gear must matter;
    The story thats in the game is for 3 Year olds, narrative is bland, dialogues are chilidsh and plot is cheap and just not good at all;
    Eververse must be out of the game - Bungie told us that bringing microtransactions into the make will make them able to give us more free updates and events - it's a lie, even in firts paid DLC for D2 there is almost 0 content - just read the reviews.
    New characters are just bad and uninteresting and design of some of them proves that zones such as EDZ should've been in the first game but was cut out and put to D2;
    Reasonable RNG must be back in the game;
    Exotics are not interesting and I'm not motivated getting any of it.
    PvP is too balanced that it is not interesting to play. In the first game there was a point where there were alot of weapons that felt really good to have i.e. MIDA, Suros, Thorn, Hawkmoon, Fatebringer, etc and people still used all those weapons including snipers and shotguns etc. which means it was diverse but also more much more interesting.
    You cannot use sniper rifle or shotgun and rocket launcher/ sword at the same time anymore, the new inventory system with kinetic-energy-heavy is just stupid and must be brought back to what it was - it kills the fun in PvE / PvP;
    No new enemy race, or classes;
    New locations are uninteresting - there is no incentie to go back there as farming materials are useless now,
    With the first game I waned to get back to it more and more playing almost daily and for many hours. Now I barely even want to log back in.
    To sum it up: they made the game is less fun, overpolished, casual, childish at best with downgrade on amost every ascpect.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. **** BUNGIE! Why should we pay £30-£20 for a **** game. Fix destiny 2 pvp before we buy this **** DLC which wont fix anything. Destiny 1 better than destiny 2.

    strikes were way better than destiny 2 strikes i mean look at the rewards u used to get strike loot and the scoring system was fun. Also, people who say destiny 1 was unbalanced are scrubs; yes their was guns that needed a buff however, most guns were balanced or usable. Even in the op thorn meta things like, last word, hawkmoon, red death, messenger were all good and anything in that type of fire rate was good. Next special weapons were fun, people might say shotguns are op however, snipers could stand up to them u just needed to get gud learn quick scoping (fusion rifles became good in rise of iron). In destiny 2 the only guns u can use are the last hope, multi tool and Origin Story type of weapns and ability's take way to slow to charge i mean if i wanted to play halo i would but i wanna play op 1 shot supers destiny thats fun. We dont even get a new raid its a re skin leviathan raid. U get better rewards from nightfalls u get better rewards from stikes. D1 way better than d2
    I am playing d1 **** d2 and 80% of the player base agree with me thats why they stopped playing d2 the **** game. Try and take our money and release a half ass game da **** Bungie think we are dumb are u really gonna pay £30/$25 for 24hrs worth of content. Also, yes i have stopped playing d2 like 83% of the playerbase. Im playing d1 a good game

    Destiny 1 is better than destiny 2 by far.
    Destiny 1 pvp way better as they had special ammo with one shot weapons.
    Destiny 1 strikes way better than destiny 2 strikes.
    Destiny 1 raids lol way better than that trash destiny 2 released.
    Destiny 1 story=destiny 2 story missions (Not the telling of the story just the missions and how they play)
    Destiny 1 balance way better than destiny 2
    Destiny 1 lore way better than destiny 2

To make matters worse Destiny has shown that their priorities lie within turning Destiny into a slot machine game where your fun is determined by your wallet not your time - the ultimate cancer of gaming paying full retail for a game that has a design to make you spend like a mobile game with no actual content. If you think this game is for you it may be - if you want it for 20-30 hours max you might have fun, however, if you actually want a game that is something besides a slot machine hidden behind a few story missions than this isn't for you. No 6v6 pvp, 1 time use shaders, no random rolls, no reason to continue. Bungie's continued F-U to the community is beyond appalling.

    Bungie was caught throttling XP - so they said they will disable it. Instead of only disabling it - they also practically DOUBLED the amount of xp to level. Effectively making a permanent throttle.

    I stuck with Bungie through all of D1 and it took until the last 2 xpacs to really make it a great game. I'm not waiting or throwing money at them any more to get their act together with D2. Avoid this game for another year or better if you haven't bought it already. It's clear Bungie is only after your quick money and not your long term investment.

soundtrack.then theres this abomination.like who in the hell at bungie thought hay lets take verything great about the first game and get rid of it completely and if you disagree well they removed the difficulty changer, 6v6, 4v4, rumble free for all, mayhem pvp, strike modifier, secondary weapons heavy and special ammo, replayable missions, strike specific loot, unique exotic and legendary weapons, random weapon perks, amour perks, customisable subclases, private matches, fun boss battles where you can melt the boss but the boss can also melt you and not just do a it of damge spawn so adds and go immune rince and repeat, having all the end game activities give good loot and the lower difficulty activities give you weaker gear not the other way around, faction reps, gunsmith weapons, having ships, sparrows and shaders be earned through game play not the eververse, having enemies that are tough and chalanging for anyone except a foetus, the cosmodrome in Russia , the ocean of storms on the moon, the Ishtar collective on venus, the meridian bay on mars, the dreadnought, t he plague lands on earth, siav an entire enemy race, a voiced character.now this could all be slightly forgivavle if everything they added wasn't terrible.they promoted the game with 4 new locations one of wich being the biggest they ever made that being the europian dead zone (the EDZ) now the edz isn't actualy that big as in reality its just a massive donut with fast travel points everywhere so you will only see about 5 or 6 little areas in it and 2 of the planets io and titan are tiny and are empty baron wiats with nothing in along with that io is just an ugly rock with a terrible colour palet the other planet is Nessus that in my opinion is the only decent one as it isn't just a donut it actualy uses all the space its presented with and has a nie colour pallet and is visualy impressive.now this game says it has an epic and cinematic story well it dosnt its story is about as good as the original if not worse its just dumbed down and stripped of potential unlike the original and gives us a likeable character cayde 6. now him being a fan favorite he was featured heavily in the marketing and I was really let down when I found out hes is only in a handful of cutscenes and 2 missions.now this game being a looter shooter you would expect it ot have lot of looting that it does but because all the loot is so similar due to fixed perks and how legendarys and exotics are just thrown away as if they are the effort bungo put into this game all the loot is really boring but there is still the gunplay now it is very similar to first game in this it feels soooo boring due to all the guns feeling the same where as in destiny 1 due to all the guns felling and perks being extremely varied it felt o fun to shoot mone gun switch to another and have it feel so much more different was amzing now its just sort of press buton gun fires shot.now the pvp in the first game was so fun and thrilling and hasd a skill gap but also was fairly unbalanced now in destiny 2 they have removed nay semblance of fun or variation in the pvp as all it is is just team shotting then supers being spammed at the end of a match noq th game is statisticaly a bit more balanced but in the end there its not worth it as its just so boring and in diverse as well as that the monthly pvp event iron banner not only did they retcon an entire year of the first game it had some of the most terrible and unrewarding loot drops dor what was supposed to be an endgame activity and I say supposed because they removed level advantages from all pvp in the game iron banner and trials of Osiris or trials of the nine as it is now called so they are just sweaty boring pvp matches that are extremely unrewarding.now in every destiny game/expansion there is allways a raid and bungo delivered one of the most boring raids yet with some really dumb mechanincs especialy when compared to things like kings fall and vault of glass and not only that the raid has one boos at the very end and when you finaly kill him all you get is one gun one piece of armour and a few tokens and oh yeah screw rep gains now you have little circles that you give to an nps for a reskin of a gun you got 10 minutes ago.aswell as all this bungo remove the grimiore cards that where the first games way of explaining lore oney you had to go to there website to read them this time round they removed it and said they would put it in the game yeah they didn't they just removed lore from the entire game.at the end of the day destiny 2 is a looter shooter with boring and easy to aquire loot and boring and easy shooting full of scumy microtrnasactions that have small bits of lore attached to them Expand

    Destiny 1 was one of the best games I've ever played. It was repeatative, it was grindy, but it was damn good. Destiny 2 lost all the charm of the ancestor. It's too casual, the grind became boring (lol). The raid is a solid piece of disapointment and it's very bad in general. Curse of Osiris even made it worse. Pity

    To be fair, many things are nice in this game, but it's like they just hired the most expensive beautician to dress up a pig, not just lipstick but mascara and eyeliner. That's it, it looks nice but everything else is just have arsed. The game play was wonderful for the length of the story, then it gets so mind numbingly boring I couldn't go on.
    I have no idea why anyone would read critics reviews anymore.

    I read user reviews, sift through the ones you mentioned to get to genuine reviews. ( you were wholly misleading in your review of them BTW)
    I read the fan reviews and the newcomer reviews and compare their versions.
    But one thing I know for sure, is that the critic reviews are either 100% BS, 90% BS, or 80%BS.
    You get paid to sit and make positive reviews of all the high budget games because they won't give you access if you make a negative one.
    You as a critic have every incentive to mislead and be completely disingenuous. I know why a user gives a bad or good review based on how coherent and complete their arguments are. I can trust they are genuine.
    Critics need to either grow a pair, or go away.
    Metacritic is the only site I trust, and I know that is the same with many of my peers.

    In the end, DO NOT BUY DESTINY. It will reinforce the notion of making barely a game, dressing it up, filling it with extra fee's and ruining the industry. Do not reward this. I want this company to be an example of how bad you can fail if you treat the consumer like fools.
    I give a 4

New players don't even experience the advertised story unless they are willing to waste their time doing filler missions.

    Gameplay: You jump, you shoot, you pick up stuff. And it's all incredibly underwhelming.

    Characters: Bungie tries to make an MMO, yet is too lazy to make memorable characters or NPC's, The game is as wide as an ocean, but as deep as a puddle. Not a single character is worth listening to.

    Even if Bungie backtracks on some of these horrendous missteps, there’s evidence that the dev team is either flailing around without a clear idea of the experience they want to present, or even worse, they’re happy to offer the least amount of mediocre content possible until the player base starts pushing back. When free-to-play titles like Warframe and Let it Die seem monumentally more generous and offer vastly more entertainment value than a triple-A sixty dollar release built with a budget large enough to feed whole continents, it’s clear that something has gone horribly wrong.

    It’s this sense of streamlined player experience that really defines Destiny 2. Where the first game had you grinding for hours just to experience increasingly diminishing returns, this is a sequel that trims away its processor’s frustrations, firmly putting fun first.

    Destiny 2 is tough to compare to other shooters or games, but it is evidently a better title than part 1. The campaign is longer, the progression makes more sense, the structure is more satisfying and the sheen and splendor on the various planets entices even more. Destiny is comparable with its predecessor after the add-on The Taken King, and is therefore a more solid foundation for the coming months of content.
