Feb 14, 2018Its a AAA first person shooter MMO, that manages to have dumb AI, A very dumbed down UI and a story that makes Wolfenstien look Shakespearean. Systems have been designed to treat the player as some kind of cash point for the publisher. The gun play feels great, but this is the last time I buy a game made by Bungie.

Sep 17, 2017I have spent around 100 hours already in this game. It's the perfect game for me, but there is also a downside. The publisher is greedy which I don't like, 4/10. Microtransactions have NOTHING to do in a you pay for.

Sep 12, 2020The sequel turned out better, but for me only an infusion from the first part. Now the graphics look really good and the content is right. But from the gameplay it's just the old warmed up soup. Nobody needs or wants that.

Sep 10, 2017boring,same game, port,fps bad, cutre,bad,lag,beta bad,cracking,down,fps slowdown,etc.
I think what makes most of us so disappointed is the enormous potential here, ruined by Activision and their nonsense. There is a wonderful game in there somewhere but these developers are only interested in your money . -

Dec 25, 2017Its a expansion from Destiny 1, the only thing new is that this time they at least try to tell a story, but its a crapy one full of holes. So you get to once againt grind to the max level with no relevant activities to the plot, once you reach lvl 20 once again you grind to get some gear you dont hate, and them you wait for a DLC so you have to grind all again with adition to the plot.

Sep 8, 2017So I have to pay for cosmetics now and they can only be used once?! This is a very anti consumer tactic and I won't bother trying this because this really offends me as a gamer.

Sep 22, 2017I am a fan of Destiny but I cannot in no shape or form recommend this game.. No Excuses, It is essentially the another DLC 'the Cabal' and not a complete game... More Storyline but more questions unanswered.. I am not waiting or paying for DLC to come, that should be included already... Long story short this is Destiny 1 "Reloaded"

May 15, 2018Just as bad as Destiny 1. The game is a boring, repetitive grind that has one of the most generic stories of the year. It's a shame, because the gun-play and some of the worlds are pretty awesome.

Sep 1, 2022Ok if you haven't burned out on the looter-shooter-FPS-RPG genre, but be warned... you must buy expansions or else you can not accurately level past certain points in the game, and every time there is an expansion it's over in about 6 hours.

Sep 7, 2017Microtransactions in a game especially when its taking away features that were more accessible in the first game and it might be just cosmetic but its a greedy move from a company that should just give us these features from the get go rather than hold them behind a pay wall.

Sep 9, 2017I am reading through all the comments after buying the game without opening it. This is actually the very first time I've returned a still sealed game in the past 25 years of video gaming! Good to see that the game community demands more better gameplay and creativity and giving such 'blockbusters' and unfinished eyecandy games **** reviews!

Jan 23, 2018Even if Bungie backtracks on some of these horrendous missteps, there’s evidence that the dev team is either flailing around without a clear idea of the experience they want to present, or even worse, they’re happy to offer the least amount of mediocre content possible until the player base starts pushing back. When free-to-play titles like Warframe and Let it Die seem monumentally more generous and offer vastly more entertainment value than a triple-A sixty dollar release built with a budget large enough to feed whole continents, it’s clear that something has gone horribly wrong.

Dec 11, 2017It’s this sense of streamlined player experience that really defines Destiny 2. Where the first game had you grinding for hours just to experience increasingly diminishing returns, this is a sequel that trims away its processor’s frustrations, firmly putting fun first.

Oct 19, 2017Destiny 2 is tough to compare to other shooters or games, but it is evidently a better title than part 1. The campaign is longer, the progression makes more sense, the structure is more satisfying and the sheen and splendor on the various planets entices even more. Destiny is comparable with its predecessor after the add-on The Taken King, and is therefore a more solid foundation for the coming months of content.
