    This is a fantastic game, there are some SMALL issues but nowhere as bad as many other game releases at launch. Mass effect 3 i had 10 crashes and had to restart 3 times, GTA5 had whole buildings pop in numerous crashes and i had to restart over 6 or 7 times due to bugs. CP2077 i have had 3 crashes and have not had to restart my game at all yet.     This game is truly unbelievable. As in I cannot believe that CD Projekt Red released the game for base consoles in this state, let alone the fact that they intentionally covered up the fact that the game's frame rate, graphical fidelity, constant crashing and insane amount of bugs makes playing this game a thoroughly unpleasant experience. The world is pretty enough, the exposition learnedThis game is truly unbelievable. As in I cannot believe that CD Projekt Red released the game for base consoles in this state, let alone the fact that they intentionally covered up the fact that the game's frame rate, graphical fidelity, constant crashing and insane amount of bugs makes playing this game a thoroughly unpleasant experience. The world is pretty enough, the exposition learned through various texts and shards picked up across the map give the world some depth, and the main story is engaging and unique, although it benefits most from Pondsmith's incredible lore and its accompanying mechanics. But say none of the bugs and crashes and graphical oopsies ended up in the game.
    It's still... extremely underwhelming.
    The AI is virtually nonexistent and every time you turn a full 360 half of the NPCs around you are replaced by a different model. Cars only spawn in a 20 meter radius around you and there's no kind of driving AI as far as i can tell, although if you don't focus on it too much it isn't a huge problem. CDPR claimed that the NPCs would be on a full day-night cycle with unique assigned paths and that is definitely not true. CDPR said this would be an RPG where you can choose a dynamic lifepath and approach problems in all sorts of ways that would affect the course of the story. This is.. sort of true, but the lifepath is 15 minutes long and then conforms to a single story path that is completely linear until the end of the game.
    I'm still enjoying myself in the world- the combat is simple but euphoric when the frame rate is at a manageable level, and to reiterate, the story is really really engrossing. The music, both the licensed soundtrack and the OST are INCREDIBLE and the design of the world, both indoors and outdoors, is absolutely dripping with atmosphere. But playing this game leaves a sour sweaty-armpit taste in the mouth knowing that CDPR promised more than what was possible (and it has to be said that the fanbase expected more than what was promised) and then failed to deliver, all while shadily covering up the abysmal overall state of the game and horrific state on last-gen machines like a legit corpo.
    There's a great game in here somewhere, but it's not the one I'm playing.    … Expand

    Playing on next gen and game has been great so far. Cyberpunk is super immersive and gives an insane amount of freedom. If your playing this on last gen then it would be smart to wait before you buy this to make sure CDPR is able to give you what you have been waiting for in a AAA title. Hopefully they get it right as we all have a lot of respect for CDPR and faith they will make this right.

Which is what CDPR has done in lying to consumers and not releasing a playable game! How it passed playability test and how Sony and Microsoft allowed this game onto the market (which was mainly advertised for consoles) is mind boggling. Simply theft andSimply embarrassing!     Very excited for the patches. So far I love the story so far. My frame rate drops here and there but overall pretty enjoyable

    I'm really amazed at how much trash talk there is for this. On console so far for me its been less glitchy than any bethesda game and load times are better than AC Valhalla (which also has its fair share of glitches). I thinks its just bc its this studio who did it and from anyone else everyone would still be singing its praises. Similar to Star Wars fans just hating what they love lol

    I would've given a 10 if it hadn't been for the poor launch, but it's 2020 so it was somewhat to be expected. Played it on a PS4 Pro and besides some crashes and visual bugs, the game has been overall running fine. The environments are gorgeous and the world feels really lived in, and the story has been phenomenal. Highly recommend this game, even on a ps4, although it may be worthI would've given a 10 if it hadn't been for the poor launch, but it's 2020 so it was somewhat to be expected.     The game is amazing aside from all the graphical issues and crashes it is a fantastic experience that I will be buying on another platform as well. Once those are fixed I'd give it a 10.

Кредит доверия был большой, брал предзаказ, на данный момент хотел вернуть деньги (после заявления (СДПР), но сони возвращать деньги отказалась. В итоге ни нормальной игры, ни денег. Спасибо СДПР и Сони, настроение испорчено. Как там в слогане сони ?     All the hype for this game was over done. Yes the game seems good, but on the PS4 pro it is a joke. Within the first 10 minutes of the game the issues were alarming. Cut scenes not working correctly, frame rate drops, and just not a good experience. I would not suggest getting this until all the bugs, issues are resolved when the patches come out in Jan. and Feb.

    In all fairness this game is really well made, it's the game that will be talked for a long time and unfortunately not for all the good parts. As sad as it is to hear if you're only able to play this game on the base PS4 or Xbox one, then please just wait till you either get an upgraded console or a new gen. The game is not perfect with bugs or without bugs but it is still one of the highlights of the year, as far as it has gameplay it does not innovate or stand out from others but as far as its world is incredible, all the detail on the map is simply beautiful.
    Of course, the performance of the game is bad without mincing words but when you get used to the game it is totally worth it.

    I really like it. Best game this year. Yeah theres bugs and a couple of crashes but its the most ambitious project ive seen a company take on. I havent put it down yet. The missions are great. Get real Deus ex vibes with a little gta.

It’s unplayable on the PS4, my screen is lagging the whole time as if I'm playing a online game on dial-up internet. Characters and cars falling from the sky constantly.     O jogo tinha potencial, mas os bugs, crashes, queda de fps, o tornam impossível de jogar no console. Por 5 anos eu não comprava jogo na pre-venda, quebrei essa regra com o cyberpunk e foi a última vez. E quanto a comprar algum jogo da cd projekt? Só se for em uma promoção de pelo menos 90% e depois de uns 2 anos. Infelizmente, não confio mais nessa empresa.

Don't buy pc version if your ps4 experience sucks, otherwise you will fall into the CDPR's trap of paying 120 dollars for a very bad gaming experience. I haven’t dipped below 65 FPS with graphics maxed at 1080p, not even during intense combat. Only complaint is the driving doesn’t feel(I am on PC, my opinions are not relevant to the console version, that is an entirely different game as far as I’m concerned) This game is absolutely gorgeous, I have spent about half an hour just staring at reflections and textures, it looks phenomenal. So far ive enjoyed the game but it is a lifeless skeleton of what I expected.     Overall certain game mechanics are fundamentally broken. From:

    The skill tree has not impressed me and for the most part I go around with several levels and points to add but dont because many of the options seem like they just dont do much..
    The inventory system is well annoying. There are so many different screens to look at your inventory and to mod or breakdown weapons and clothes that I find my self hopping around so much just to mod or upgrade or change a weapon im holding.. Its frustrating in the least.

    I didnt spend too much time in the character creator thinking well this is Cyberpunk ill get to change my hair or mod my appearance or add cybernetics to my face later right... Well no you cant any of it your stuck with what you made..

    Same for cars no customization... Same for weapons I thought maybe paint jobs etc.. .Nope..

    But it is fun the story is thrilling at times and makes me feel immersed. All the loot is just so fun when you find something cool. The world is pretty and I love just walking around..

    Gun play Melee and stealth mechanics are all kind of clunky...

    The difficulty and leveling of certain encounters can be from too easy to too difficult on the same street. I often got frustrated at some of the difficulty thrown at when on easy even not understanding that random encounters on the street are leveled and you shouldnt be engaging every encounter which breaks immersion.

    I am still very addicted to playing the game but not sure how long it will last.. As I find my heart broken on what I thought I would get just time after time not being there.

    I now question what did I expect was it really realistic did CD Project Red want the game to be too much and didnt deliver on any one thing completely.

    J’ai essayé d’aimer le jeu , après environs 7 heures , j’ai bien vue que le jeu était complètement brisé. On dirait un jeu de ps3 remplis de bugs. Honnêtement, j’ai l’impression de m’avoir fait volé 90$. Et sony refuse de me rembourser. Prochaine fois je vais me méfier de cette compagnie

It is the Deus Ex open world game I dreamed of, but with the added bonus of a tiered loot system. As expected from CDPR, the story is amazing, as is the world building (I love learning about the lore of this universe).

It is very poorly unoptimized with a lot of slow texture loads, which is a real shame. I think CDPR should have cancelled the old gen versions of this game. Despite this, I have played around 20 hours on ps4 and have really enjoyed my time, and am always looking forward to playing more. It is sad to see that because of this so many people are dumping on CDPR, because I am convinced this game will be fixed. I still trust them and decided to support them more by buying the PC version as well on GOG. That version is superior to this and after playing for around 5 hours on PC would get a 9 out of 10 score from me.    … Expand

    I've requested a refund on the ps store, here's hoping I get refunded soon. What a buggy mess this is. Couldn't progress from about 2 hours in on multiple attempts and reloads from different save points. Saddest part is I can see a good game deep inside... I strongly suggest waiting until late next year and checking out more reviews when the patches come out. Do not pay £50 for this rubbish.

Love tv and radio, i could ride for hours. All types of fighting is just prefectly planned - katanas, guns, mantis blades, gorilla arms, hacking! This is awesome!

    I won't spend money on this again and if they make good on the refund's promised, CD Projekt Red and their misguided game (meant to be an attack on corporate hypocrisy) probably won't be seeing any more of my money.

    The most important thing is that the developers have apologized and in 10 days have already made two patches that dramatically bring the game out of the mire into the normal state. They care about the players and that is worthy of respect.

    Yes the graphics could be better. (Buy a better machine or play on PC ). It’s a fun game. It’s pretty amazing the scale they have pulled off. Story is great. Side missions are great. It is buggy and crashes. But they will fix that.

I can't tell any difference in handling, speed, durability etc… should let you customize, buy upgrades. You can run into situations you can move your vehicle out of.     Some music for location was great, like Afterlife. Some music was not so great. However, the Radio option does let you change music preferences. Compared to Witcher 3 such as Priscilla's song music disappoints or at least doesn’t compare.

    Audio. Various issues of lips moving or not moving when words coming out. Other than Johnny, I found the audio voices overall lackluster and not impressive. Also, many, many times I was in middle of conversation and someone buzzed in on phone or many dialogues going at same time.

    Graphics/Gameplay
    Some video cut scenes seem sloppily and hastily put together. Scenes such as picking up glass to drink appear in your arm not hand and nothing pours out of glass. Characters in streets- I saw the exact same person walking by each other many, many times. Difficulty at normal is too easy. I got to the max. street level of 50 really quick in the game, too quickly. A couple of the quests were sick and depraved, but I expected a whole lot more as this is a fallen world with dystopian punk criminal evil corporatism etc… A big problem I have with gameplay is the characters and people walking around. There are ZERO options to engage or talk…to any of them. I remember in Witcher 3 being in a random village and being able to at least have some minor conversations with random NPC's.

    Abilities/Cyberware
    Why do you get athletics points for simply standing up from a couch? Laughable. Completely do NOT get the whole BD thing. For investigative purposes, sure. Why do you have an interface and can't use it? Why buy BD movies that can't be used? Cyberware options were a lot more limited than I expected and only a few were really useful. I could have done without almost all of them. Ability trees could use improvement. I only found a few interesting and

    Religious tone
    CDPR should be ashamed! Its one thing if they pick on everyone and all religions equally but they don’t! Let me give some examples:
    - at one point you can "recite the lord's prayer? But not really just part of it.
    - One fixer said "exact justice) killing) on behalf of our Lord." Come on…
    - Billboards everywhere of "The passion." CDPR intentionally mocked and degraded Jesus' crucifixion through a storyline I wont go into. This was insulting to Christianity but since its Christianity it doesn’t matter.
    - The gun Skippy says a line like "according to Christian doctrine you are going to burn in hell." Why does CDPR keep twisting and referring to Christian doctrine?
    - One scene asked type of food you want, tofu, fish or locust peperoni. They make a specific, intentional effort to avoid pork. Why? We know why, Muslims will be up in arms.
    Continual attack on Christianity. OK. So lets see… is anything negative said of inferred about Islam? HELL NO.
    Political Correctness
    Really didn’t expect this from CDPR, at least not to the extent they went to.
    In clubs saw NPC girls holding hands yet nowhere did I see a man/women doing this. I saw one all-male strip club with only males in it. The other clubs were NOT all female ones. There were a LOT of homosexual only relationships…more that hetero. Why get involved in this at all…why not make sex indifferential? Because CDPR is trying to blatantly force new PC'ness down your throat.

    Creation of a woman with penis? Really? NPC talking about gender transitions. Females with male voices. I didn’t see a true multicultural environment. Most of NPC and voices were Chinese. It seems like the tried to take ethnicities and blend them into one color. I get CDPR is based in Poland and may hate USA. I am okay with the whole corporate "evilness" in Cyberpunk. However, why are there so many "gangs" with USA like flags and they are compared to terrorists?

    Romance Options
    What a 100% complete let down. I remember back to old games like BG2 and the romance development over time with Aerie. That was awesome and real. Nothing in Cyberpunk feels like a romance. There are no deep storylines that seem to organically grow over time. CDPR is too intent on trying to be PC and "diverse" and lost focus on just making good romance stories and characters.
    Misc.
    - Need autoloot function.
    - Computers. Why the Net option? There is nothing to explore?
    - there are vending machines EVERYWHERE. Why? Not helpful.
    - Item weight limit bother.
    - card pickups everywhere. WHY? Make them more important
    - Its clear CDPR rushed this game out too soon and did not polish it. In fact, I question if any beta testing was even done.
    Overall Conclusion/Thought on game

    Super open world, great stories, I have no trouble on My PS4. Few months ago, I was playing fallout, and it had more bugs and problem after a few years and many updates. I just enjoy the game, and don't see a problem.

    Ive made a refund on my game, and I'm going to purchase a used game later or when it's on sale.
    I doubt that they will get the ps4 version working at all.

    This is a giant of a game. The story is second to none, the graphics at times steal you away from your mission just to stop and look at the world, gameplay is fun, and the side quests are filled with so many hidden gems and easter eggs.

    I am constantly torn from wanting to see how the main story progresses to wanting to do all the side quests. The main quest gives you a fantastic story, but the side quests give you a looking glass into the world. They are just the best, some have you laughing, some that are best descried as “f**k yeah!”, and some are extremely dark and heavy leaving you just mind blown or punched in the gut. The game does not sugar coat some themes, but it gives an immersive view of the fictional world and the people in it which makes you feel something for what is going on in front of you.

    Combat is great giving you a variety of mechanics where you can cyber hack enemies incapacitating them or to distract while sneaking up to or past them, snipe them off one by one even through walls, pop a pin from a grenade and go full body demolition or leap through the air slicing limbs off.

    Driving around feels a lot like GTA, I do not care for it too much as first person is not as easy as 3rd person to navigate and 3rd person kind of breaks the immersion. However, it provides a way to get around the large map before you can fast travel. I wish there were an Uber option where you can take in the sights of Night City as a passenger.

    Skills in this game are a little disappointing. They only make you a little better, stronger, smarter etc but do not really give you anything new to do. I guess some of this comes with implants which you buy. In this game it makes perfect sense to do it that way but it still feels a bit off.

    As for the bugs, there are quite a few but most of them are either not that big of a deal or are down right amusing. I sometimes enjoy some of the glitches for a laugh, they haven't gotten in the way or blocked progressing a quest nor have they ruined the game for me. Quite often if something seems to misbehave, I find a quick save and reload seems to fix it.

    I give this game a 10/10 as I am really enjoying it a lot. If you are on an old console or prefer to play a more polished game, it may be best to wait. It would be a shame to miss it however as it is probably one of the best games of 2020.    … Expand

We are a long way from the fertile hills and forests of The Witcher, the series that made CD Projekt Red into what the citizens of Night City might call a megacorp. And yet, even here, amid the metalheads and the netpigs and the ICE, the spell remains the same.

    No other developer is as adept at adapting the work of writers—at wrangling the fully formed visions of the page and coding them into colour and form. If this counts as a lack of imagination (the studio has yet to conjure a fiction from scratch), it’s more than made up for by the airtight seal of its worlds. The source here is Cyberpunk (and its subsequent editions, Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk Red), the tabletop role-playing game written by Mike Pondsmith, whose lore is rich in lingo. If the game can't run in base console then why releasing it in ps4 ? You'll spent most of the game wearing the gear with the most armor looking like a clown, build meaningful relationships with a handful of characters that ultimately are shallow are don't have many choices that matter and kill some fools with fairly standard gunplay. 30-60 hours of content with main story/core side stories. I am someone who frequently spends 100-200 hours on a game like this and have done in the recent Assassin Creeds/Final Fantasies and The Witcher 3 and was looking forward to doing the same in Cyberpunk but just can't justify it.

    Not as buggy as people would you have you believe, but enough so that it can be extremely annoying at times and after particularly annoying progression blocking bugs occurred a few times I did have to step away to chill before looking up how to get past them.    … Expand

    Many people praising the game without understanding what is expected from an RPG in 2020. I think most of them expected this game to be an open world shooter, and got what they wanted. I mostly play open world sandbox/action adventure/RPGs like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, Kenshi, RDR, M&B, Enderal, Obsidian RPGs, AC RPGs, The Witcher, etc. They're not perfect, they look bad, have bugsMany people praising the game without understanding what is expected from an RPG in 2020. I mostly play open world sandbox/action adventure/RPGs like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, Kenshi, RDR, M&B, Enderal, Obsidian RPGs, AC RPGs, The Witcher, etc. They're not perfect, they look bad, have bugs everywhere and even worse mechanics, but they all have something in common: the world reacts to your actions in a believable way. If you steal something and get caught, someone will come for you. If you kill an NPC, some NPCs will run, some will try to kill you and/or some will call the guards or police. NPCs have basic routines, they go to sleep, to work, to the bar, even if its the same routine everyday. You can see patrols walking the roads, monsters attacking travelers, interactive merchants. Non-scripted emerging situations, or at least well-scripted routines

    This game was advertised as the next generation of open-world RPGs. Thousands of NPCs with routines and advanced AI. Multiple lifepaths that would shape the decisions and playstyle. I didn't jump on the hype train because I was expecting something similar to The Witcher or Bethesda RPGs in a cyberpunk setting (at least, considering the 8 years of development and budget). That would've been great. Instead we got a toned down GTA/Destiny, an action adventure looter-shooter set in a cyberpunk theater mockup, where NPCs all react the same way when in danger, say 2 or 3 lines and walk aimlessly until they vanish in thin air in front of you. Police materializes in front of you as soon as you aim your gun to any brainless NPC. Escape with your car (defenseless because you can't shoot and drive) and they disappear after 5 seconds. You can steal from other people's stashes in front of them and they won't care. Drink or food vendors don't even have specific dialogue and they don't even sell anything. The list goes on.

    These are not "bugs", "features" or "part of the lore", this is false advertising, design flaw or just plain laziness. Missing AI can't be just patched or included in a DLC. I can stand the gamebreaking bugs, bad performance or the hilarious animations. I can't stand an open world shooter being advertised as a full-fledged open world RPG that doesn't have the basic gameplay mechanics that games from 2008 already have.

    "Night City" is just a big loading screen between quests that is just sitting there for pretty RTX screenshots. Hell, even the on-rails Mass Effect with its tiny planets and hand-crafted stations felt more alive and purposeful. I play RPGs because they are like interactive books, most of the are belieavable enough that let you get lost in them. If I wanted to play a brainless shooter, I'd play Destiny.    … Expand

    Dou 5 pelo jogo que é bom muitas coisas pra fazer missões etc sim o jogo é bom mas o que estraga e a má otimização pro ps4 o jogo é muito bugado ontem eu fui nas configurações de vídeo e não conseguia sair mais apertava bolinha e fico congelado lá e tive que reiniciar o jogo e refaze uma missão tudo de novo sem falar de crash que tem muitas vezes e do maldito lag na queda de fps e a máDou 5 pelo jogo que é bom muitas coisas pra fazer missões etc sim o jogo é bom mas o que estraga e a má otimização pro ps4 o jogo é muito bugado ontem eu fui nas configurações de vídeo e não conseguia sair mais apertava bolinha e fico congelado lá e tive que reiniciar o jogo e refaze uma missão tudo de novo sem falar de crash que tem muitas vezes e do maldito lag na queda de fps e a má renderização das texturas.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I can honestly say that Cyberpunk has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in gaming. I’ve witnessed some terrible launches but this one’s among the worst along with Unity, No Man’s Sky and Fallout 76.

    The idea of the game is good. The setting is great but CDPR doesn’t show it off due to the PS3-tier graphics.
    Gameplay is decent at best. The control scheme is uncomfortable and weird and can’t be changed.

    Thing is, the game just isn’t worth 60 bucks. Not just the terrible glitches, FPS drops, worthless graphics and other countless weird bugs ( corrupted saves ), but also as an RPG it’s just not good enough.
    Characters lack depth, there’s no backstory. Voice acting is great though.
    There’s no options to customize your characters appearance aside from armor, no car customization and no ‘home’ customization.
    The skill tree is not really interesting.
    And not even to mention the stupid AI. Cops can’t chase you in the car etc. The detection system is worthless, there’s no stealth in place.
    Hacking has potential but it could be so much better.

    This isn’t the game we were promised. It’s a decent RPG, but not on par with other RPG’s.    … Expand

Are u kidding?.... What next?.... I was ****up w the game.. And lost my money.... I am really sorry for the investors.....They have lost tons of money on this crap.... Do not buy this game...     Absolutely loving the game! Great story line and characters, amazing futuristic open world to explore and plenty of content and character customisation. Can't wait to play it again on the next gen console to get the full visual experience

    I bought this game to play it with my father. I was very excited to play it with him, I get to see my dad rarely and I wanted to have a good time with him around a game, and that's why I decided to pay it's materialized version to make sure we wouldn't have to wait longer than three the setup time and data pack installment. I shouldn't have trusted that.    I can't believe I'm writing this.

    O jogo não roda direito, tem queda brusca de FPS quando eu ando pela cidade, o jogo está mau otimizado pro PS4 e Xbox one, isso tem que ser arrumado.

    Mas a história e os personagens estão impecáveis, as missões secundárias parecem missões principais de tão bom, se não fosse os problemas técnicos o jogo seria perfeito !

    Após o patch 1.05 está incrível, teve uma melhora incrível de fps, é melhorias técnicas que tornou o jogo jogável para usuários de PlayStation 4

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
