    Cant believe i waited almost 8 years for this. Bad optimization, full of bugs, stupid ai, cops mechanics are bad, ragdolls, bad driving, the list go on and on. They should have at least take notes on how to do properly make a proper open world from a 7 year old game called gta 5.

    The game is so bugged out at launch. I have had over 10 complete crashes of the game and graphic frame rate is a joke on PS4. Bugs and glitches are everywhere. CDPR’s reputation is why I put trust in the game when I bought it, I will not trust this company again with a preorder. They blatantly lied about its performance and it shows in the final product.

    UNPLAYABLE. PS3 graphic (probably even worse), rediculous framerate, textures not loading, bugs, crashes. This game shouldn't have been released at all on PS4. In this state it is a joke. Any advertisement is false, dishonest and based on gameplay recorded on a 4.000 Euro PC. CDPR showed no respect at all to all PS4 users. Avoid this game at all costs. If you already purchased, ask for a refund.

    The game is lacking core functionality like basic driving AI, cop chases, NPCs having more than two lines etc. Plenty of people are focusing on bugs, but even if the bugs would be fixed, the game is quite shallow. Only place where the game shines is the soundtrack and story (if the story wasn't bugged as well) 0/10 please mass refund ps4.

    I know it's a ps4 game, but you literally couldn't even provide somewhat of an upgrade after almost a decade of announcement? It looks like an oldddd ps4 game. Will be waiting until next gen version comes out, disappointed to say the least.

    I wanna say first off it’s a beautiful game the concept for it is beautiful and Night City is also just gorgeous. Well for what I can get without it crashing every 2 hours even when in the middle of a mission when I need to restart cause it crashes. The occasional bugs and glitches. Frame rate is a big issue.     Trying to play this game (v1.04) on a PS4 Pro with internal SSD. For the most part the game looks and runs dreadful. Crashes every 2 hours or so. Lots and lots of bugs and glitches though most of them don't affect gameplay in a really negative way (or maybe i just have very low expectations now regarding this game).     I tried to play this game but it is so broken that I got motion sickness from the awful rendering and in game wobble. Literally objects and walls shift vertically as you look around, inducing nausea. This has never happened to me outside of VR and I cannot believe it was certified by Sony PSN in this state. Currently fighting for a refund.

    Here’s my biggest issue...deliberately hiding PS4 gameplay footage before release. Because of this reason I’m getting a refund. This should have been a swan song for the PS4. This should have been released on next gen consoles and PC only. QC was appallingly. Disappointed in CDPR now. Corporate greed...

    I can't recommend. 15 FPS for shooting and driving is really low and the game often crashes and bugs are everywhere I look.

    Unacceptable they didn't show footage. Overhyped and just not a good game. 1000 hand crafted NPCs? Nope. It's good they're refunding people but I'm going to hold off and hope for the best.

    All went relatively smooth for the first couple hours then I ran into a glitch that created lines through my screen. It's not my console as other games like Cod Cold War runs fine. Tried deleting and reinstalling the game with no luck. This game is absolutely trash in console. Will be contacting Sony for a refund

А вот теперь МИНУСЫ: неиграбельный, неоптимизированный, сырой, с кучей багов и вылетов кусок кода. Деньги вкладывали не в качество а в рекламную кампанию. Херовая русская озвучка.     Unplayable, 2 it’s only for what they previously done with TWIII and for their fans in the past but now 141220 it’s definitely a 0, a technical crap. I hope that the commitment demonstrated in the past will be renewed, until then it’s very disappointing.

    It‘s not finished!!!
    You can’t play it normally, my game breaks nearly every hour and the graphics are awful.
    The framerate is low and inconsistent too which makes this game nearly unplayable.

    Almost all bad reviews this game got are because of the numerous bugs and glitches the game has which completely ruin the game, but honestly even if those were not there, i would have a hard time actually recommending this game to just about anyone. From the start, the character creation system is really lacking. I was not expecting something as in depth as say Black Desert but when even an unmodded Skyrim can boast to have more customization than your game, we have a problem.

    The game's AI is just awful. games like Oblivion were doing AI that had its own life, schedule it followed and stuff like that & that game came out in 2006. Meanwhile in Cyberpunk, you do as much block their path and they have no idea what to do. Shoot in their general vicinity and civilians will just cower in fear for all eternity.... Speaking of shooting near civilians, the police and wanted system in the game is some baby **** Not expecting something as complex as the one in Red Dead Redemption 2 but the system in this game is insulting. cops literally spawn behind you no matter where you are if you commit a crime and you could cause the biggest massacre in history and then just take a left in the next corner and they will literally stop looking for you... like what's even the point?

    The world is beautiful to look at (unless you are on ps4/xbox but i'm ignoring that part in my review) but it is completely empty of things to do besides the main story... I mean, if you look at the mini map, you will think there's a lot to do with all the markers on it but then you go visit them and find the same objectives in all of them... just go to X zone and shoot some members of a random gang committing a random crime or whatever... I liked to play by sneaking and hacking everything, bc if I'm playing an RPG that lets me sneak and kill everything silently, I will always build that kind of character and I had fun with that at the start... until I didn't bc the AI is awful, like sometimes they could see me in places where they have no business being able to see me and sometimes I could literally pass right next to them and they couldn't see me at all, It's ridiculous. The hacking in the game is superficial at best. I mean, the hacking in Watch Dogs was miles better and that game was already mediocre.

    The only saving grace the game has is the story, the story is actually really good and even that is not flawless... since the game's advertisement had me think that the character origin you pick at the start would actually be important to your character's story like in Dragon Age Origins or at least unlock some small quests and interesting dialogue options that can change the course of a quest like in the first Mass Effect... instead all it does is show you a 10 mins prologue quest that has no influence on the story and fades into the same "6 months later" passage of time montage no matter which choice you pick but after that lame montage the story properly picks up and is great throughout with some great or at least interesting characters.

    There are still so many other flaws I could go more in depth on but I will instead just mention quickly... like the driving which actually made me miss the Mako from the original Mass Effect. The enemies just being bullet sponges that make even fallout 4 look like it has great design in comparison.

    Overall I give the game an 8 out of 10 on story, 7 out of 10 in music/sound design, and 1 out of 10 on gameplay, optimization, difficulty, game design, etc etc,    … Expand

    Having lots of fun playing this game. A few glitches and have had it crash on me once, but I've played bathesda launch titles. Driving is a pain but I don't play GTA or other driving games other than mario Cart. I walk everywhere and get into trouble. Run into shootouts with cops or gangs mugging people.

    I would've been less disappointed if they had just cancelled it for current gen consoles. Playing this just made me kind of sad in general. Guess that's what I deserve for getting excited...

    The game looks like a bad ps3 game, the mechanics are off when picking up items. The can be tuned to decent up close but the depth of field is horrible. Some items from a far look ps2ish and you can barely make them out. Even with all the bugs and bad scenery to me it’s still a fun game.

    What do i mean? Well i've recently discovered few glitches (2 of them actually crashed my game, the rest could be fixed by finding an exit, or just by loading the different save file). Lemme tell you those two examples:
    1. When there was a mission, where you had to go to a bar between 6:00 pm to 6:00 am (Nomad Path BTW) right at the beginning i've decided to press the Triangle when i was inside the bar, and oh boi, it just crashed, like nothing.
    2. I was riding a motorcycle after killing several civils. Then when i've bumped into something, and nothing happened right? Well, after pressing R2 to kind of recover it crashed again. Ignoring the glitch side, the gameplay is pretty well done, and the plot is pretty neat.
    Please CDP Red. Fix those goddamn glitches, and bugs .
    (PS I was playing on the PS5 btw. Via Boost Mode? Also i've encountered that second glitch even after installing the patch)
    EDIT: Turns out the game is much more unoptimized then i thought. It is so bad, that it crashed on me three times in a row.

Bem, agora eu encontrei, o jogo corrompeu uma missão da história e n para de crashar, o ps4 diz que eu tenho que reinstalar essa bosta. Engañar a los jugadores para que lo compren y al final8 años esperando por este juego, 1 año con trailers y comentarios de CD Project diciendo que era un juego perfecto.     Game is full of bugs, and crashes more than occasionally, frame rate is horrible, graphics are bad, I'm still kinda hopeful it'll get better with a few patches.
    Underneath all those issues the game is actually pretty fun, I feel bad for playing it in this state.

    It's got a great storyline but playing on ps5 the amount of bugs and crashes are inexcusable for a game they blatantly lied about running well on PS4. It takes years to build trust with an audience but cyberpunk seems to have just been built on lies on top of lies. FThe first of which was "coming when it's ready".

    A huge let down to all people who bought this game. It's unplayable in ps4, even after the patch. They promised 2 HUGE patches on the next year, finishing by February. So what? Why launch the game in December if it will only be playable in March? CD Projekt Red is just another money money I want money company.

The issue is that the low frame rate, constant glitches, blurry graphics makes the game literally unplayable. On day 1 of the game's release, it literally crashed 4 times (twice in a row each).     The game is simply not complete. While it seems to run a little better on my PS4 Pro vs what I've seen on a base PS4, the game still does not deliver on the expectations established prior to launch. Moreover, the developers decision to withhold any console footage prior to launch was disingenuous.

    If I pulled this kind of stunt at work I'd be fired very quickly.

    It's not 10/10 because they downgraded the graphics and choose not to wait and release all the versions. I've got to play a PS4 version (which is pretty bad) on PS5 while the High-end PC people are the chosen ones here.

    How to say it. the main story with Silverhand it's kinda cool but it's almost like they forgot to place the game between this long interactive movie which is fun only at the beginning but after that, it becomes clear the 48 minutes gameplay video, all the other promotional stuff and the wire episodes was lies to hype people and sell more copies.

    Ah, also they've just spoiled the first 2-3 hours of the game with all the promotional stuff. not some stuff was spoiled. What you see in the trailers is exactly the first 3 hours of the game.

    Night City 6/10
    is amazing to look and just walk around but is empty. After a while you will get the sensation this is an early alpha. "The most believable city in an open world game to date" my ass.
    The NPC's are there to fill the empty space. they are the same as trash cans and post boxes. the same IA was put in NPC's and trash cans. vendors are not selling anything. A little detail, in one of the trailers there was elevators moving up and down, like to suggest other NPC's will take the elevators but it's not true. No one is doing nothing. they just walk.

    Customization 6/10
    pretty bad that once you've created the character at the beginning you cannot change anything. You cannot see yourself in mirrors or reflections in the environment. No cut-scenes in 3rd person. Nothing. just in the inventory when you cannot even zoom the character and see it properly. They also censor a loot nudity. The adult content and the romance options are heavily limited. The sex in this game is seen mostly like a parody, like making jokes about people being obsessed with sex in the future. Whatever. Maybe is just me but I saw some kind of message like, sexual freedom is bad and stuff. Like this is a catholic game?

    NPC's walk animations 3/10
    Horrible. It' reminds me GTA 3, 20 years ago when I was teen...wow

    Combat AI 4/10
    pretty bad and basic. The same sensation over and over. This is an unfinished game. The stealth stuff also clunky. Most the time you will fail to sneak because of bad level design and stupid IA.
    In combat you'll stuck in an angle or an asset and die thinking "This wasn't a challenge. This is just bad design." and I played TLoU part I and II on grounded so I know what a challenge looks like.

    Inventory 6/10
    ugly. You cannot see stuff. the icons are small. I have difficulty read because of the text is red on blue background. my eyes hurt when I try read in this game. and there's a loot of interesting stuff to read.

    Car driving 7/10

    Cars IA and physics 2/10
    simply a joke. same care as for combat IA and NPC's IA.

    Looting 3/10
    You will pick trash and not even that interesting and after that just destroy it in generic crafting parts. you will not have nothing to collect, nothing to use to build stuff. it's too generic and force you to often to watch at the ground. why everything to pick is on the ground? Obviously all the looting mechanics was hide in the 48 minutes gameplay video. they hide the ugly part of the gameplay that reminds you at every corner that this is just a game.

    If you read until the end here's my real opinion about this game. they make it broken and ugly on purpose. They wanted this to be a Sean murray business model. don't give to the customers what they want so we will continue to hype over this game for next 5 years. endless hype for the next dlc or patch that will magically make this game the promised experience. but like in No man's Sky they will keep it ugly and unfinished.     Absolutely unplayable on the ps4. Feels like a mix between Assassins Creed Unity (bugs) and No Man’s Sky (hype). I’m not getting a refund, but it will be the last time I pre order anything from CDPR. This is Bethesda Fallout 76 quality.

    This game was absolutely NOTHING like what the advertisements were for this game. It's slow paced and plays a lot like a telltale game with RPG parts. The gun play is clunky and there is not much of it. This is NOT an action packed game like the ads were saying. We were lied to. Big time. The dialogue is childish and obsessed with sex and sexuality. Don't get me wrong sex is great but come on there is so much more to people than that. The graphics are nothing impressive just typical. The world that was created in Night City reminds me of what writers wrote about the future being from a 1980s perspective. Smoking, swearing, raw sexuality, tattoos and crassness with a very dated look from clothing choices, hair, script and the world that they're in. I'm very disappointed. As far as glitches and whatever. Encountered many. The game crashed 9 times while I played, vehicles hovering when they're not supposed to be. Command buttons not doing anything. Main mission people missing etc. I'm sure much of this will be fixed.     In 2012 cyberpunk was announced before the PS4 was even available for purchase in November 2013. Therefore, the argument does not work, it has only been programmed for Nextgen consoles.

    It's a disaster and, after 8 years of waiting, a disappointment. Yes it is a scam and I want my money back rightly. So far I have not received any feedback.

    Playing on a ps5. Encountered a bug a few hours in where it wouldn't let me finish a quest. It was right after defeating the first boss. Tried multiple times to talk to who I needed to but a pushy npc was stopping me. Had to reload the game and it brought me back to at least 20 minutes before the boss. Bugs are not my only problem with the game ( Although they were all through the game).Playing on a ps5. Encountered a bug a few hours in where it wouldn't let me finish a quest.     I also got a card of eurodollars early in the game and a tip came up to get more information hidden on the card but it was so quick to flash i had no idea how to do it. I searched for 10 minutes through the horrible menu to try to find it then gave up.
    The menu with your inventory is so bad. Also the progression is bad. All the perks are in their own sub category so it takes forever to try to find where you want to apply perk points.    … Expand

    If I could go back and time and save myself from watching a plethora of YouTube videos on this game, every night city wire, and buying this game I would do so in an instant! Alas, that isn’t possible and nothing will stop me from feeling like I’ve been fed lies for years and robbed of my money/time.

    I gave the game a 1 because when my game functioned smoothly (every 20 - 60 min) the action was fun, but that’s the only saving grace. Driving feels awful, AI is horrible, cops appear out of thin air, the character progression is a jambalaya, music on the radio stations sucks, and this game is just booty.

    If Keanu Reeves can’t even make me want to stick around in the game nothing will. Shame on you CDPR for all the shade around consoles and feeding us lies.     Tras haber jugado unas 50 horas a dia de hoy

    Puntos positivos - La historia es profunda y con una narrativa muy buena , los personajes estan muy bien trabajados desde su personalidad a su diseño etc, lo cual hace que te encariñes con ellos rapidamente y llegues a interesarte realmente por ellos. -Las misiones secundarias son de muy buena calidad y no se hacen en absoluto repetitivas    Tras haber jugado unas 50 horas a dia de hoy

    - La historia es profunda y con una narrativa muy buena , los personajes estan muy bien trabajados desde su personalidad a su diseño etc, lo cual hace que te encariñes con ellos rapidamente y llegues a interesarte realmente por ellos.
    -Las misiones secundarias son de muy buena calidad y no se hacen en absoluto repetitivas esto es algo muy positivo ya que muchos juegos tienen carencias en esto haciendo que el interes del jugador por este contenido sea nulo

    Puntos Negativos

    -A dia de hoy el juego esta repleto de bugs de todo tipo algunos llegan a ser incluso graciosos pero esto arruina la experiencia de juego en gran medida
    -El juego tiende a cerrarse de manera inesperada cuando llevas unas horas jugando, desconozco el motivo por el cual esto sucede

    -En el apartado del combate: Muchas armas parecen simplemente ser inutiles respecto a otras, haciendo que el 90% de ellas sean chatarra destinada a mejorar las armas Miticas o fabricar objetos.
    El comabte cuerpo a cuerpo se siente extraño y las hitbox de los enemigos no son lo que tu te esperas que sean

    La conduccion es algo bastante decepcionante, se siente tosca y dificil de controlar haciendo que a la larga el jugador pierda el interes por ella y prefiera realizar viajes rapidos.

    NO HAY PERSONALIZACION: al acabar de crear tu personaje no podras modificar nada de su aspecto mas que algun cambio minimo al añadir Mejoras en el matasanos, tampoco podras cambiar tu peinado ni modificar los vehiculos. Estos para mi es un punto muy negativo ya que resta muchisima libertad y hace que a la larga tu personaje llegue a no gustarte o a querer crear otro.

    Conclusion:
    A dia de hoy el juego no merece la pena almenos hasta que solucionen ciertos bugs y mejoren el rendimiento del juego para que no se cierre de forma inesperada.
    si ademas de esto se añadieran mas customizaciones para el personaje ,vehiculos etc durante la partida se convertiria en un gran titulo.

    Aun asi el juego me hizo disfrutar mucho por su historia y solo por esto merece la pena ser jugado ya que es muy buena y de alta calidad

    Aun con todo lo malo creo que este juego dejara una huella en la historia de los videojuegos y dara comienzo a una nueva generacion de juegos RPG

    Bugs don't tend to be a major issue for me and they will get patched. Currently this does not run on PS4, that is not a bug that is a broken promise from the developer.     Bugs don't tend to be a major issue for me and they will get patched. Currently this does not run on PS4, that is not a bug that is a broken promise from the developer.     This is the best looking PSP game. Worst than 2015 rpg games. The NPCs in this game are like zombie. Lack of interaction between NPCs. It had a lot ridiculous bugs and glitches causing bad experience of the game. No customization of cars. Control of car is like driving a boat. In-game sensitivity setting will be reset everytime when my ps4 is switch off. Game always freeze and run into error.

    The game is a buggy mess. I wouldn’t be bombing them if the CEO of the company didn’t say the game was running surprisingly well on base PS4 just 2 weeks before release. Unplayable in its current state and anyone who gave the game a shot and tried to play can’t get that refund.

    I usually like to see how a game is in development and view game previews, unfortunately there were non for the PS4 version. I had preordered this game and been one of my most anticipated games since day one. After receiving the game and tried to play after crashes and bugs, i figured this game needed more delay time to get polished. Worst game to date, the frame rate is atrocious, the company worked on the higher end PCs mor than the main platforms like PS4 and Xbox One knowing that they were working on the base consoles from the start. I’m reyturning the game and urge others to do the same. Totally disappointed, 8 years in development for this.… Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
