    Although it had bugs at launch, the recent patch 1.04 has been a vast improvement in terms of stability FPS and graphics a strong story deep characters. Gameplay is fun and varied with little repetition. All in all a diamond in the rough just as skyrim was when it launched except the bugs are being patched.

    I've read a lot of the negative reviews about the Ps4 version. Im writing this after 1.04 Patch which fixed the crash problem for me.
    Im 20 hours in my playthrough now.
    I really dont understand why people hate the graphics, which look really decent for Ps4 especially considering the comparison between Cyberpunk and recently released AC Valhalla.     It defenitely wasnt what was promised in the E3 Trailer, but the game is a lot of fun so far and as mentioned 1.04 Fixed a lot of issues for me.
    I can understand the dissapointment, but Cyberpunk is not unplayable and is a lot of fun.

    What i really feel is missing, is population density in night city, the city feels dead and like a slum in every district, more of a ghost town tbh.

    And some few bugs need fixing too. And i understand in times of cyberware where you are connected to all the people with your implants, why you would have hivemind, but especially when trying to go stealth 1 dude seeing you making every person on every floor of a building target you is really annoying.    … Expand

    Kind if a slow start but man is there a lot to get into. The introductions and prologue take up a good amount of time but this game is gold.

There are different types of missions that you wouldn’t get bored soon. at least 100 hrs game play that is really good because i pay them 60$ And i wouldn’t get a 22 hrs game play or near this number . Open word is great but i told you cars and bikes aren’t good but the first person driving its realy cool . you can not eat things that i don’t like it . getting god guns are hard i play for more that 12 hours i didn’t see even 1 legendary item . i hope DCPR see this massage and fix the bugs and things… Expand

    Playing on PS5 BC PS4 version and works great. Solid 60fps and graphics look next gen, can’t wait for the full PS5 upgrade.

    Plays great for me on PS5, some bugs but everything else makes up for it. I don't think its any buggier than Witcher 3 or Skyrim.

    This is a great game, sure there are a few bugs in the game, which Project Red admitted there would be, but a few hours in and I haven't once face any of the big bugs that people seem to be having. Would have been a 10 if it wasn't for the bugs.

    It is not a great game, but this game shows you a story instead of telling you one. If it is about RPG I am not into this at all, I do not like shooting in a Sponge. But it is really enjoyable. Optimalization needs to be fixed and bugs also but I am sure they are working hard on this game still and this will be one of the best games of all time.     At first it looks like days gone problem, we just need to wait a little for patches and we will be able to play again, even at 24fps 720p gameplay is really cool I don't know what people expect from 7 years old console.. to what? Run this at 1080p 30fps? Guys please if you want this you need dedicated graphic card with minimum 6GB vram.     18 hours of game play on my playstation 4 gotta say its pretty great loading screens are a bit long sadly but the bugs aren't as serious as the pc version or the first gen ps4"s people still have upgrade your systems now if you want a good experience

    Played on PS4 Pro - great game, awesome story, amazing side quests. I did not experience much issues, surely game doesn't look amazing but it was expected. Still enjoying it more then majority of games I've played this year - only Last of Us 2 and Hades were better in 2020.

    Absolutely amazing story and gameplay, definitely a great next gen game, in my opinion it would be a perfect 10.10 if not for the bugs but besides that it’s amazing

    Yes, this is not what is was promised to us; still, I have had a good time so far. The weapon and initial character customization are great. The world is huge, and it's fun to explore. I'm playing on hard, so it's been a challenge on some quests. Unfortunately, there's so much that is missing: character customization while in-game, NPC interaction, random events...     Not playable on base ps4. Started it up and it was so lagge and the graphics looked like ps2 game. Faces on npc looked like ps1 game

    Missable are getting me crazy, not to mention the unfixed bugs and false advertising. The “uncensored version” of the game is too vanilla. This could have been a game 10/10 but it’s a massive flop. I feel sorry for art team cause it’s a few of the only good things of the game. Also first person doesn’t quite fit this game.     Best game ever. really shows off how a group of talended polish can technically push videogames on consoles. CDPR's programmers should get a raise, imagine being a studio and not trying to steal them to get your hands on this fabulous AI.

    Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this game. It doesn’t worth our time at all. The game is broken as hell, has the most stupid AI ever, outdated graphics, very week and old game mechanics. A total mess and complete disaster. Did I mention the game has no new idea whatsoever?
    I have to confess I played only about 7 hours, but these are 7 hours I will never get back...

    After playing for a few hours, I'm really liking the art design and feel of the game. You can change the default "film grain" to off in the settings, and you'll notice a remarkable upscaling to a very fine colorful finish. I needed to restart one mission to get out a bug, but after that no issues. A great game and will only get better. Played a base PS4. Dont worry about it, enjoy the game.. :)

    PS4 BUYERS BEWARE! At the time of writing this review this is the situation on PS4: Texture streaming issues, FPS below 20, application crashes, NPCs glitches and bugs and horrible optimization. Do not waste your money, the game is currently unplayable on PS4. These are the issues nobody mentioned on their review.

    A CDPR merece tudo q ta acontecendo e mais um pouco, por ter cometido esse crime contra os jogadores. o Jogo nao esta terminado, lançaram algo pela metade e só vai ficar pronto (se ficar) daqui uns anos.     One of the worst games I’ve ever played. Even 6 months after release and a whopping 3 30GB each patches, the game is almost in the same state it was upon release. Small improvement s, but for each of those, they create a NEW issue. They even warn people now from playing it on PS4 & PS4S which they as heck didn’t in the beginning and even in their warning, it’s hidden in a Twitter thread.One of the worst games I’ve ever played.     I don’t care how ambitious the game is. Aside from the graphics complaints that everyone has voiced over and over, the mechanics of the game are poorly done. Combat is not rewarding at all. Horrible gun play, horrible melee. No real interaction with environment. Just a knock-off, poor quality GTA set in the future.

Even though the missions all end up in the same way (shoot someone), the storyarcs make them feel different. It it wasn't for the glitches and bugs, I'd give it a 10,easy. In this state, atleast one point must be deducted. Patch 1.04 made alotCyberpunk 2077 have one of the best, it not the best RPG-elements I've ever played in a game.     En PS5 se puede apreciar mucho mejor el juego, y es un RPG asombroso. Night City es impresionante, a nivel visual este juego hace un trabajo espectacular. Tras 30 horas, quiero más. Espero que vayan corrigiendo los errores y que el parche next gen llegue lo antes posible para poder disfrutarlo al 100%.

Even back in the day I thought some people were easily overreacting about some of the alleged problems this game was supposed to be overloaded with. Game crashed twice in the 70 hour run I had with this title, which is still more than it ever should (and than any other game besides Fallout 76 did), but it wasn't THAT bad. A few graphical glitches here and there and an AWFUL framerate when driving through city's centre with lots of texture pop-in, I can't deny that. But none of that was a problem for me as I was so drawn into the story of the game. To be honest, there are only a few other titles I had this much fun with. Gameplay was great, I didn't feel bored once all this time and I couldn't imagine it being any better. Many people told themselves that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be messiah of gaming, a true competitor to franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, Fallout and much more. In their minds, it was supposed to not only be a great story, but also an adventure filled with police chases, night life and all of that jazz. I, on the other hand, had never thought of Cyberpunk in these regards and that might be the reason why I love it so much. The story is captivating, there was so much thought put into creation of the world, the gameplay feels just so... right, and the visuals can be stunning on newer hardware. It's simply unbelievable how bad of a reputation this game got because of the technical shape it was released in. 8/10 on PS4/Xbox One, but easily 10/10 on next-gen consoles.… Expand

    I also play the PS5, in the first act everything went almost without any problems, but from act 2 on I have an error message every 10 minutes that throws me out of the game ... it's a shame that the developers destroy their reputation with the game The withdrawal of the game and repayment no longer help them

    I waited until I had PS5 until I played the game. That I got for Christmas on PS4. Which I heard was better for next Gen. The game is amazing when you don’t have to worry about all the glitches I heard about. The game is like Fallout meets Grandtheft Auto. Which works for me since I love both. You also have Keanu Reeves giving his less wooden performance ever and it’s in a video game. Yes,I waited until I had PS5 until I played the game. That I got for Christmas on PS4.     Its just unbelievable how CDPR LIED to their fans with the Ps4 version, purposely hiding the reviews of that version and confusing their buyers with the PC version.

    This puts CDPR in line with Ubisoft and EA in the bag of **** anticonsumer.corporations that i will never give my money again

    I love this game, the patch 1.51 broke it on my ps4 pro.... they did a sotfware update and fixed but my trust in CD is in the low... I have played over 300 hours its a great story but until they work with us on the trust issue on they patches my score will be a 5/10

Major technical difficulties at the initial release aside, of course there's a great game to be found here, and anyone who says otherwise is a troll.     There is a legitimate foundation here that could have provided one of the best video game experiences in many many years if not ever. Sadly what is great about this game only serves to shine the brightest of lights on what is horrible about it. Going forward dont expect RPG's CDPR. Expect "games" to be used as set ups for TV shows and disappointment. CDPR is dead.

    This is the first time I’ve ever gave a game a 0, but I feel I can’t give it anything else as when I tried it on my PS4 when it came out it just didn’t work, so I took it back and got refunded, I have a next gen consoles now and I will buy it for the ps5 or x box series x when it comes out, might be a very good game when it works who knows??

    CDPR openly admit they launched a botched game and actively tried to deceive fans by not showing any real console footage in advance, instead focusing on showcasing the maxed out experience of the PC version in order to "wow" the audience and secure more pre-orders. In other words, they admit they scammed people as much as possible. Due to the growing backlash and PR disaster they offer refunds but also ask people to not refund the game too much as if they were a small indie studio lacking money such as Hello Games (they launched a similarly botched game with No Man's Sky back in 2016, but cash-strapped as they were they kept working on it and have released several patches and DLCs for free to this day, they deserve to be recognised for their effort to repair their game and heal their tarnished reputation). Pure hypocrisy by CDPR.

    If such a fan-favorite company like CDPR pulls this scam, then what should we expect from companies with questionable ethics such as EA, Activision, Take Two and Ubisoft?

    The framerate stutters as soon as you try to drive in the city while still not being very visually impressive (GTA V is graphically far more impressive). The story and gunplay while in buildings is kind of fun though but the amount of frame-rate drops sprinkled through this game really ruins it. It should have never been released in this state. The world is very un-organic, the people walking around in the city are totally boring and there is no interesting police-feature like the one in GTA V. You cant create chaos like you could in GTA V, it just sucks. The handling and driving of cars/bikes are quite poor in this game too - its ok to get you from point a to b, but again _nothing_ like the vehicles in GTA V.

    I ended up refunding this game when playstation offered it for everyone - I would'nt recommend this game on any console to anyone. If you want to play it, either get it on stadia (if you got a really good internet connection) or on PC if you got a high-end system at home.     Played it through with PS5 and to be said it worked smoothly, but there was a lot of bugs and the game crashed every now and then. Still one of the best games I have played. I really enjoyed the main story as well as the side stories and in my opinion the battle/ combat + gears and weapons are great! Definately will give it another go after the next gen version comes out.

But it ought to be fraud to take money for something this broken. CDPR is helping you with refunds and I think you should all take that chance and try again on a later console and version. It is going to be a hassle but please endure. If greed had not forced it to release on these consoles and instead had focused on next-gen, we wouldn't be in this mess..    … Expand

The city looks amazing only at night. If you go exploring in daylight, you can easily see how low are textures. And, OH MY GOD, the amount of glitches and crashes.     - Horrendous Collison and driving physics
    - Glitches galore! Too many to mention, including game crashing!
    - limited side activities.
    - Some invisible walls during missions.
    - Police chases are very weak.

    I wanted to love this game, but there was just too many reasons to be disappointed. Maybe a complete edition will come out in a few years and fix this mess. Until then I give it a fail mark of 4/10.    … Expand

It's absolutely boring, lazily derivative, and not fun at all. The gameplay is fun because it scratches the bethesda skyrim/fallout itch, but considering the possibilities of a cyberpunk open world it is very disappointing. Not trying to justify CDPR for their past-gen release fail tho.. and I hope they’ll make it more playable for good picture lovers. For those who value a good story at first place I’d definitely recommend this game. (As an example, I’ve completed ffvii multiple times, released on 97)

It crashes a few times a day but other than that it's still a pretty kick ass game which coming from me is a massive statement considering I hate 1st person games. The ads hooked me though and I love the whole background of the game from the RPG. It's been a very faithful adaptation.I know. This guy is nuts. But, I'm running CB2077 on a PS4 Pro.     Wanted to give 7/10 after 1.03 patch, score declined to 5/10 after I have finished the game as i can confirm AI is the worst I have ever seen in my long gaming experience. The story is ok, the side missions are very uninspiring. I am giving 0/10 after patch 1.1 as it broke the game and you can not use weapon any more (you can't aim).

El HDR está totalmente roto, en el propio menú, que básicamente es un fondo negro, al activarlo ya ves como el negro se vuelve prácticamente gris. En cuanto a resolución, no se a cuánto irá en PS5, pero se ve todo borroso. Cuando sales a la ciudad de día esto se hace aún más evidente, y además se junta con texturas de edificios que podrían ser perfectamente de PS3, otras que no cargan, carteles y edificios borrosos, etc, dando como resultado una sensación de estar jugando a una alpha a medio hacer.

    Juego:
    El desarrollo del personaje tiene muy buena pinta, y la historia también, pero ni de lejos es lo que los habían querido vender. La ciudad NO se siente viva, no puedes interactuar prácticamente con nada, hay poquísimos NPCs y además sin muy cutres, los del GTAV mismamente, están muy por encima, y los de RDR2 simplemente a años luz de estos, parecen maniquíes sin vida, además de una IA pésima.
    El juego está plagado de bugs, algunos “sin importancia”, como NPCs que atraviesan cosas, objetos flotando, prendas de ropa que desaparecen, pero otros afectan directamente a la jugabilidad, como policías que aparecen de la nada, la policía NO te persigue en coche, misiones que se bugean y no te dejan avanzar, constantes crasheos, etc.

    En resumen:
    La base del juego, como juego de acción/rol tiene buena pinta, pero le quedan meses de desarrollo, no se que habrá estado haciendo CD Pojekt estos 7 años, pero trabajar en la versión de consola segurísimo que no, no me extrañaría que con esta versión se hayan puesto este mismo año, lo que nos han vendido es un alpha a medio hacer. Debería ser denunciable sacar semejante basura al mercado. En mi caso, partida borrada y a esperar al parche next gen, porque esto en consola es injugable, y por supuesto, este es el último juego de CDProjekt que compro de lanzamiento.    … Expand

Best looking game i have played but empty open world and super linear story. this is no rpg and all the choices have no meaning if not for the ending. also there is no customization of character and vehicles which really makes you wonder how can u spend all the money you earn.     Great great game. Just dont buy it now. Would be higher but theres lots of bugs and crashes. Either wait till they fix it on ps4 or play it on ps5 when available

With a few hours of gameplay on the PS4 Pro, I noticed several technical problems, despite the stable frame rates, I saw that this was only possible after a DRASTICA reduction in graphics quality in general.

    The game runs really bad on a standard PS4, everything takes a long time to load, from textures to objects, it runs in low resolution and low framerate, and it's not even beautiful, a total disaster. CDPR tried to hide that until launch day and it's unacceptable.

    Still crashes every 30 minutes even playing v1.06 on PS5. World often feels empty, vacuous NPCs who don't even lip sync the little dialogue they've been given. Side quests are great though lots of variety and interesting stories. Shame it was released in this state.

    - Decent art direction

    Overall, this is a sub-par game at the moment. It may improve in the future with updates. But the AI, for example, needs a complete overhaul.

I had a game breaking glitch as early as the tutorial that forced me to start a new game because I could not progress and reloading didn't fix it, more crashes in the few days I played than in my entire time owning my PS4 including all games I've played in that time. These people are crooks at this point and honestly, Sony and Microsoft are no better for approving a game in this state to be sold and then have the gall to deny refunds. Do not support this company. Eu acho que neste ponto é seguro dizer que qualquer um que jogar este jogo irá experimentar bugs e falhas, o que é bom, mas um pouco decepcionante quando você vê uma vasta maioria de pessoas tendo os mesmos bugs nas primeiras missões. Eles tiveram 8 anos para trabalhar nisso e a maioria das pessoas pega os mesmos bugs na primeira missão, como cmon.

    Eu nem sei o que dizer sobre o NPCS e a cidade. É a maior decepção para mim. Eles estão tão quebrados e burros. A maior parte da cidade parece tão viva quanto a vice-cidade GTA. Comparado com aquele vídeo da E3 de 2 anos atrás, é apenas noite e dia. Não sinto que este seja um mundo tão divertido para explorar como Witcher, Fallout ou Skyrim. Nem mesmo parece um RPG em um certo nível, é apenas estranho. O combate não parece nada satisfatório. Corpo a corpo ou armas é apenas alguém parado ali a maior parte do tempo apenas pegando e gritando. Policiais surgindo literalmente em cima de sua cabeça e na sua frente.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
