    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is nice looking and the action is fine. but here me out. the things the game promises on are not really there. The fully customizable character creator is really limited by not having sliders. I was actually shocked to day, I dare say shocked, when I found out white or gray hair wasnt an option. The way people in the game talk and act are so "edgelord" that I get taken out of it and just think why am I doing something so stupid with my time. Finally, after a week of playing...I got to the opening title card. Maybe if I played the first 3 hours solid it would have held my interest enough to see it on day one. I actually find myself getting quite annoyed playing the game. The cars handle terriblly. They cant make right turns, even with the brake and e brake applied. Anyway, for me the straw that broke the camels back and the reson i decided to write this is I was playing the game and I just finished the opening sequence with Johnny silverarms and I went to do the next mission and in game it wanted me to pay 500 dollars of in game currency. Obviously this si to get me to do side missions and whatnot but since I wasn't really liking the game anyway I felt really annoyed at being stopped right in the middle of my play over this. If it was smart game design I would have already had the 500 as a reward for the multitude other quests I've done and I wouldn't have been forced to stop and do something I honestly have no interest in doing. Unlike other people, I play on PC and it runs fine. My biggest issue is that its completely irritating to play.… Expand

    Had to change my review, as the game progresses the glitches get insanely high; I am restarting the game every 10 mins now. Gun dont fire, enemies become immortal, car stops driving, weapon gets stuck on firing and cant reload just makes shooting sound, missions dont progress.

    The most immersive and impressive roller coaster of a game you'll get to play. I have been playing it on my base PS4 console since day 1 and despite all the fuss, after the last patch most of the technical issues has been addressed, there are still bugs but they too will be polished, it's not the first RPG or open world game I've played , I know that some rpgs even after 5 or 6 years fromThe most immersive and impressive roller coaster of a game you'll get to play.     Para todo produto novo que você compra no preço de mercado, o requisito mínimo é que esteja em pleno funcionamento, sem defeitos graves e sem problemas recorrentes, isso vale pra uma casa, um carro, um televisor e etc...
    Agora. Por que pra um game isso não vale? Por que os gamers tem que aceitar pagar o preço Full de U$ 70,00 por algo que é defeituoso e incompleto?
    Vamos largar essa cultura de "patchs" para arrumar o jogo...
    Se você paga preço de mercado, preço Full num jogo, o correto é ele vir completo.

En 8 años hicieron GTA V para PS3 y se ve mejor que tu juego, rinde mejor y no se pixela, y tiene mas de 7 años de lanzamiento, imaginate el de desarrollo... Es una verguenza jugar asi con el dinero de la gente, con la ilusion por un juego que es una brutalidad en historia, misiones, jugabilidad... pero claro, si no veo la ciudad, los npcs, etc porque todo esta desenfocado, borroso... la inmersion se pierde mucho, a eso añadele crasheos, bugs... pues se pierde toda la ilusion de jugar... nunca mas, con ningun juego mas!

    One of the worst triple AAA titles I've ever played on any platform. The story and characters are ok or good or whatever, game play is interesting, system well implemented... But it's just unplayable most of the time, let's hope big patches solve most of the problems since it could be a pretty good game as in PC

    It doesn't deserve 0. Game is very good as it is, but has a lot of broken promises and stability issues. Can't recommend at this state, but when they fix the stability take it and enjoy.

    Game is like playing russian roulette. Game crashes all the time, when you play this game you have 1/6 chance in 1 hour that is will crash. I even got 3 crashes in 1h.

    I'm not from the category of those comments that say about overestimated expectations, but in fact on the ps4 of the first revision it is just awful. After so many expectations and postponements, it is a shame to release such a game. I am disappointed

    Don't get me wrong I loved 2 out of the 4 endings ( wasn't able to do the other 2) but The Delamain missions are Insanely buggy that I completely had to them last compared to the others ( I haven't completed all of them due to the bugs being in the way) Now for the final mission ( I chose the Johnny and Rogue on my first play threw) Destroying the bots/ drones you can't pick up components due to a glitch which sucks cause those come useful when upgrading snipers and pistols. CDProjekt Red knew fine this game was in an unacceptable state (recently admitted) and undeniably tried to cover it by misleading and manipulative business tactics. The game needs at least another year or more of development time. ThisSo bad that it was removed from the PSN Store by Sony. This is up there with the worst trickery and dishonesty in marketing for a game that's ever happened. CDProjekt Red knew fine this game was in an unacceptable state (recently admitted) and undeniably tried to cover it by misleading and manipulative business tactics. The game needs at least another year or more of development time. This is like 99% preparation for a large immersive game, and 1% of actually trying to get it to run. The open world is laborious and unplayable. Graphics and gameplay is below 720p and sometimes will never manage to load in textures and framerate persistently reaches as low as 15fps and can or will stay like that. The amount of bugs and glitches is completely messed up and it is without question the most horrendously bugged, glitched and poorly performing game ever released. General combat gameplay is a similar calibre to Outer Worlds, but sometimes feels like an old Halo game from 2000s. Shooting often bullet sponging enemies with tactically OP firearms and melee with underwhelming feedback and collision. QA testers around November time pointed to a still-unfinished game across all facets of it's content. I'm shocked at how much that isn't just tolerable things. But this 'crunch' that everyone knew about was more serious than what was ever told - they had to scrap the game as an RPG game and instead title it an Action-Adventure due to the vast number of things removed which no longer qualified it as an RPG. Non-extensively or to name a few, they removed large mechanics such as:

    All normal spider bot gameplay Removed skill trees (Techie etc) Whole wall running mechanic scrapped The subway system as fast travel system scrapped - replaced with a loading screen. Vehicle and home customisation scrapped Character customisation such as haircuts and augments cut
    Other storage options removed such as wardrobe, all done in inventory now

    The bugs etc are pervasive enough to ruin the experience and spoil it. The crashing is regular enough to frustrate players into switching off, then your character falling through the scenery nearly as frequently as the crashes which can happen several times in an hour of gameplay. Missions get stuck permanently (currently have two side missions and my main story permanently non-progressing), dialogue sticks and have to reset. NPCs and AI is diabolical and there is actually 'no AI' for several concepts in the game such as driving. One blatant example being the whole wanted level system where cops come for you. They don't actually come arriving to you — they just spawn right beside you in plain sight and start shooting. Then they simply vanish into thin air when you leave the scene. Textures and rendering never loading causing reset.. The game has so many severe problems that you'd never be done, but I'm legit horrified with how something like this can be hyped up and sold. Totally unacceptable for a game of 8 years in development. The memes are bull going on about people complaining about it's delays when it was in a state like this for at 8 years. Cyberpunk is easily one of the most horrendous releases gaming history. The gaming community must learn about pre-ordering games and the expectations and hype they have for them prior to actually seeing a complete product. Consumers need to change and learn a serious lesson from this.    … Expand

    Nice game with a good story. There are many things to do. The atmosphere is amazing In the beginning we are facing some problems but this will be fixed soon.

    Well, the game is filled with buggs and the graphics are horrible. I would love to say something about the story, but in the current state I stopped playing the game and wont touch it again.

    Better dont buy the game, just save your money!

    The game is great and really fun, but the the reflections really ruin the graphics and it has a huge problem on keeping a descent frame rate. Besides that the game crashes once in a while. It could be a 10/10 game, it has a sick story, really interesting side quests and a fun gameplay with many types of approaching the same mission.     The main part of gameplay is just listening/reading the dialog, so the playing of this game is basically just like listening a long, uninteresting podcast. Between all the blahblah you move the character around in a pitch black environment with an awful framerate just to get into next location where you, once again, get to listen some more babbling.

Its littered with bugs and not really any cutscenes which make it feel worse The game need to take the controller out of the player and just put in a cutscene so u dont end with looking around or running in circles cause it quickly makes u bored by just standing there and talking

    And the fact u cant go anywhere because the lockdown removes the entire reason to have it open world in the first place and not just do like The Witcher 3 did and separate the world into chunks that way they could have minimal loading and a bigger chance of it running successfully on older consoles

I managed to pick up a ps5 and this thing still runs like a dog and still crashes. And omg the ai in this game ....cops and npcs which have the iq of a lemming. This feels like a gta skinned game where theyHad this game on pre-order for months. Was so excited to play it, yet so disappointed with it. Played on my ps4.     El juego tiene muchos errores, no se puede jugar bien, cuando comienzo de nuevo a jugar, las configuraciones que realice en el juego anterior como son las configuraciones de idioma, vibración del mando, tamaño de los subtítulos y la opacidad de fondo se reinician cada ves que lo vuelvo a jugar, y siempre tengo que estar configurándolo cada vez que lo juego eso es molesto. Aparte que lasEl juego tiene muchos errores, no se puede jugar bien, cuando comienzo de nuevo a jugar, las configuraciones que realice en el juego anterior como son las configuraciones de idioma, vibración del mando, tamaño de los subtítulos y la opacidad de fondo se reinician cada ves que lo vuelvo a jugar, y siempre tengo que estar configurándolo cada vez que lo juego eso es molesto. Aparte que las texturas en el juego tardan en cargar, muchas veces el juego se pausa por periodos de tiempo cortos. Cuando se agota la barra de resistencia, no se vuelve a rellenar y la pantalla se queda con un efecto molesto. También el movimiento del jugador se traba y no puedes correr, tienes que abrir el mapa o reiniciar el juego para poder volver a correr. Falta que habiliten la opción de poner el audio en español para America latina… Expand

    The fact that Cyberpunk 2077 was advertised on these system first and foremost is mendacious and an embarrassement. CD Projekt owe the consumers an apology and should offer refunds.    … Expand

Bugged saves and autosaves.... It is a disaster on consoles. And it ment to be released for CURRENT gen. And they have even made a limited edition one x for cyberpunk.     Nós que compramos o Cyberpunk 2077 nos consoles esperávamos um desempenho menor nos consoles fazendo uma comparação com o PC, porém o jogo está com problemas de tradução, renderização, desempenho e bugs.

    Literally unplayable on a PS4 and what is more important – seems like it will never be. This version should have been cancelled, but CDPR chose to get all the money. Moreover there is no official statement yet (it is 12.12.20), so they even didn't admit the problem. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Stealth is shallow and all enemies are alerted the instant you're spotted, no barbers or way to alter your appearance. No doubt this will be added as free "dlc" the police spawn on you within an instant, NPCs are dumb, have no real routine andYou've heard it before. The bugs, the resolution, the graphics at times.. The world feels empty even though you have a very very decent amount of side quests. Don't get me started on the car ai.. Or lack of.. I honestly don't know how much of this will be improved on with patches or how much of it realistically can be. If you see this CD we want this game to succeed! But what you've given us is a shallow buggy mess, I hope to see the game get a new lease of life soon and I will update this user score accordingly.     Cyberpunk 2077 na ps4 wygląda jak GTA V na ps3. Jestem przekonany, że CD projekt Red mógłby znacznie poprawić grafikę i optymalizacje. Jak narazie gra broni się samą fabułą. Trzeba czekać na aktualizacje o ile takowe wypuszczą.

The world is filled with things to do but it just feels so, dead and baron at the same time. Controls are clunky and the story is just okay.     1. The "huge open world" is indeed huge, but far from what was told and teased about how open it was. About this is just gta v with very few improvements.     1. The "huge open world" is indeed huge, but far from what was told and teased about how open it was. About this is just gta v with very few improvements. By instance, if you run over a pedestrian npc with your car he won't answer cyberpunk style (pull a gun and start a gun fight), instead he will just run away (gta style). 2. Dialogue: there is no real open dialogue in the game. You have many dialogue options, but, mostly, the "right answers" (those which will make the game move on) are highlighted and sometimes, no matter what you choose to say, the outcome is the same.
    3. "No bullet sponge enemies": even most of the goons are spongebobs which take at least more than 5 headshots to go down. Worse than that, the gun damage isn't set by it's caliber or even by the gun type. In other words, you may run into close quarters, unload a shotgun in a goon and be killed by some shots from his "next level" pistol.
    4. Graphics: as lots of reviews say, graphics are on ps3 level.
    5. Bugs: the game indeed has lots of bugs, traffic is weird, sometimes frame rate drops drasticaly and sometimes the game crashes too.
    6. Hacking: this is one positive point. Hacking in the game is dynamic, usefull and also not overly complex.
    7. Story: so far the story is another positive point. It's very cool, interesting and catchy.

    Is really surprising to see a game with a whole rpg structure but with arcade mechanics. The fights are challenging and deadly, enemies AI are really good in the game, but the amount of damage it takes for either an enemy or V (your character) to be put down drastically reduces the possible strategies during fights. Bought this game hoping that it would take the place from fallout 4 in my collection, but, until now, seems like it's not gonna happen. You still can have fun with the game, but it's very far away from what developers told about the game, inovation is also much lower than what was said and expected.    … Expand

    YOU WANT SCI-FI, THEN PLAY MIRROR’ EDGE (2008 or 2015). It’s as sublime as it gets and Frostbite has *10 times the ray tracing that CP would have in 2030.

    So what can I say. The setting, the art direction, the music and some characters are just awesome. Early story carries well, but it does get lost at the second half of the game and there was a point in my play-through where I just felt ... well ... nothing ... every character who was still around and every story-line that was still open just made me feel empty. I did keep on going, but I had this eerie feeling that the best part of the game was over and I was never proven wrong. The soul of the game packed its briefcases and waved goodbye and never came back.

    I'd say that the game does introduce interesting entertainment approach where you end up being more amused/engaged by the videos of the bugs that the game has than from actually playing the game.

    It was released too early and I'm quite sure that the person in charge was just trying to impress some higher-ups and is probably going to lose or already lost their job. My respect to every person in CDRP who fought against releasing the game in its current state knowing all too well that it needed a couple of extra years to be fully completed (I'm quite sure this goes to all the developers involved as I find it hard to believe that they were not aware that almost none of the aspects of the engine or game systems could be deemed to be stable).

    What makes me saddest of all is that the world created deserved so much richer, longer, colourful story than what we got. What happened? This is what you are left with: what happened.

For perspective, My main hope for the game was that we would get a much better and newer Fallout New Vegas, which I loved. I'm thrilled to say that this game is certainly better than Fallout 4 and New Vegas in every single way and the most fun I've had playing an RPG in a long time. However, if you're reading this and had far higher expectations than that, or just don't care for Fallout games at all, Cyberpunk might not be for you. While Cyberpunk is not the same as Fallout by any means, I do think Fallout 4 and New Vegas would be the best examples when trying to describe what type of game Cyberpunk is and give you a comparison point to another game you may have played before.

    For the bad things in this game, and there really is only one bad thing, and that's the bugs and glitches. If you're reading a positive review here, you're probably looking for some confirmation from someone that the graphics, frame rate and bugs aren't as bad on the PS4 as everyone says. In my experience, this has been true. In full disclosure, I have a very high tolerance for glitches. However, what I have experienced so far is nothing more than the standard glitches you may encounter in any Bethesda game. The back lash this game is facing right now, in my opinion is entirely based on so many having completely unrealistic expectations for this game. Expectations no game could ever meet. There are only minor visual glitches and texture pop in (Mostly which is when driving very fast) and frame rate issues at times. I will add that I do think the frame rate has improved significantly since the most recent hotfix CDPR put out for the game. The only time I notice the game "freezing" for half a second is when the autosave feature happens, otherwise it mostly runs pretty smoothly as far as I can tell.

    Those are the only negative things I can say about the game and I think for all the bad things being said about it, it's completely lacking the proper context. The context that this game is the most massive, detailed, complex open world I've ever seen. Any hype you had about Night City and exploring this game world should be completely met if not exceeded. It's simply the most diverse and complex world design ever created in a video game. There are an enormous amount of things to do and see everywhere and you can spend hours in one small area of the city before moving somewhere completely new.

    As far as the combat goes, I'm not an avid 1st person shooter fan but the the gun play is as smooth and enjoyable as any FPS I've played. Perhaps not as well refined as a true FPS, but this is an RPG, so you shouldn't expect that. Once again, compared to Fallout, the shooting mechanics are far better and more fun than any fallout game. The melee combat, while not perfect, is also a blast, particularly once you get a katana or some type of weapon you really enjoy using. Stealth mechanics are not perfect by any means, there are many stealth games out there that are better. However, as I've said before, anything mentioned in the game has to be taken in the context of how many things there are to see and do, and how many choices the game gives you, in terms of play style. Every encounter can be done in different ways, whatever your play style, and the progression RPG system supports those decisions and builds your character the way you want to play. Another side note on the progressions system that I personally like is that it hits the sweet spot between not too simple and not too complicated. I don't enjoy when some games have a progression system that is overly complicated and may take a few hours just to fully understand.

    I could go on and on about the positive things in this game. I'll leave it with this, if you're like me and can only play this game on a PS4 since you can't buy a PS5 right now and you don't have a high end PC, no amount of bugs or glitches have even come close to ruining the total joy I've had playing Cyberpunk. Easily one of the best RPG's I've ever played and I can say one of my favorite games period. This game has certainly met the hype I had for it, but if you expected more and had more hype than what I've said, then it may not be good enough for you. Either way, wanted to leave a review here to give a different perspective from what seems to be completely terrible review scores.    … Expand

We have all been lied to and deceived for years with misleading game footage and boasting by the company.     The open world stuff is not that important to me, to be honest. The fact that you've got not hairdressers, tattoo artists etc. might be disappointing to some, but it's just not what I spend time with in a game like that. I can see how it can seem lackluster to some to not have these features in, but as much as I love the GTA + RDR series, I don't expect every open world game to have the same scope and feel.

    The performance issues and crashes have gotten better with the patches, but as I said, having played on PS4 Pro, it's not been that bad to begin with. I'd get a crash every 3 hours or so, which probably was a good thing, or I'd be dead now.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this game has not a lot of problems to deal with right now, and needs improvement in some areas. But reflecting on that I played like 60 hours or so since release, I can't really stand here and trash the game, even though it's not the quantum leap everyone expected. I think it's a good game. And I hate most open world games, RDR and GTA aside.    … Expand

    After I got my PS5 the experience was much better when it comes to framerate and visual (especially if you are used to playing on console). There are still a lot of glitches and crashes, but the experience is more than enjoyable and the game was actually very good. A very immersive world, good story archs (specially side quest), interesting characters and everything you would expect from this game. However given the level of technical problems the game has on the base PS4 and urge everyone to get a refund if you can and buy it again, either when patches have fixed the experience or when you can play on another platform (I haven't experienced the game on a PS4 Pro but from what i have seen online, the experience is much more acceptable).

    Personally I don't like how CDPR approached this, because in my opinion, there's no way they didn't know all the problems the based version had. And they should not be given a free pass no matter how good the game is. Remember there is no "next-gen" version of the game the game was officially released of PS4, XBOX ONE and PC and in my opinion all those versions of the game must get a minimum level of quality that CDPR simply didn't meet    … Expand

    I have over 10 hours of playtime on my 1st gen PS4, the game is great, captivating and fun, i want to make 2 thing clear, my ps4 is old, bought at release, it had a lot of dust, i had a lot of bugs, and the fan was working overtime, so, i surmise, that the problem that most PS4 users playing Cyberpunk are having related heat issues, once i cleaned the system changed thermal pads, andI have over 10 hours of playtime on my 1st gen PS4, the game is great, captivating and fun, i want to make 2 thing clear, my ps4 is old, bought at release, it had a lot of dust, i had a lot of bugs, and the fan was working overtime, so, i surmise, that the problem that most PS4 users playing Cyberpunk are having related heat issues, once i cleaned the system changed thermal pads, and changed thermal paste, the game ran perfectly, yes i had some bugs, the occasional floating burger, the disappearing cigarette, and occasional NPC's floating instead of walking, but in no way was the game unplayable, i recommend you give you last gen console a mayor cleanup if you have never cleaned it, and i don't mean just dusting it with air can, i mean complete cleaning, that will make a big difference in the game.… Expand

    I played on PS5. Really good with loading the map, lots of bug. With the graphics at first you notice it's not really good but with time your eye adapts to the old graphics. A lot of random crashes, sometimes even when you are driving. The main story is really interesting and the side missions are really good. I really hope with the next updates it will get better.     Bad optimized. Looks like they only focused on the story, thats why they get 1 star. Pull it back and release it in 3 or 4 years. It looks like it need much more time...

    This has little to no effort put into AI. The game has an abundant amount of glitches and bugs. It can’t hold steady frame rate and all that doesn’t even scratch the surface. It had so much put into details like these we really don’t need instead of proper AI, bug fixes, frame rate (there’s really no excuse as to why the frames are so bad because every other game seems to run fine, Gta 5This has little to no effort put into AI. The game should not have released in the state it is, the scummy move of only allowing gameplay CDPR give to be shown plus no base console information at all. You just can’t defend this game or CDPR, I will admit the story and voice acting was great, but the cons are higher to climb then the pros. You can love this game but honestly you don’t have to and can’t defend it. I’ve played both the PS4 version and PC version. They have such a dramatic difference between how well each platform runs. You still struggle to hold a steady 60 FPS on a PS5. A few patches won’t fix this game, it needs a full reset. There’s too much content missing for it to just be fixed. It honestly feels more like a few dlcs then a game. The amount of content that should be in the game isn’t, it’s not even that much of an rpg, it’s a pretty bad rpg. Comparing this to other games in the same genre doesn’t quite make sense. You think that just because the others had bugs it makes this game justifiable. While those games had bugs, they also had content that cyberpunk doesn’t seem to have. This game is one of the biggest gaming disappointments of all time.

    I just have to put this out but keanu reeves performance was abismal he sounded like he was recording his lines like it was a coffee break. His performance was a huge disappointment, the voice acting of the other characters was actually really good. The NPCs that walk around or just sit there and the police have the worst voice acting and AI. I think the Dora game on wii had better AI.
    This game honestly shouldn’t have released it had great potential but just has too much missing. It’s like they wrote down everything they were gonna put in the game and just rubbed out most of them at random.
    P.S If the frames are bad now just wait til multiplayer releases.

    Играл уже на обновлении 1.3 начинал на PS4Pro и закончил на PS5. Игра мягко говоря не очень по качеству спустя год. Мыло страшенное, графика не очень.     И да же с выходом патча 1.5 умудрились зафейлиться на PS4. да и на PC.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
