    Like almost always, Legendary "Ubisoft" proves that they are talented enough to create fun and interesting open world games. Not best, but still worth playing.

    Fun game, best part are miniquests that you find while progressing in main story. World looks more realistic than Odyssey and that's a positive. Can't wait for dlc outfits.

People who wanted this to be like Odyssey are very clearly not actual Assassin's Creed fans and that's fine, you don't need to like these games, but you can't force them to be something they were never meant to be. Removing hidden blade and parkour from AC is like removing demons and guns from Doom. Valhalla brings these things back, even ifEasily best of Origins-Odyssey-Valhalla trilogy. People who wanted this to be like Odyssey are very clearly not actual Assassin's Creed fans and that's fine, you don't need to like these games, but you can't force them to be something they were never meant to be.     ghost of tsushima is absolutely nothing with it's awful (unplayable) camera positioning and extremely boring story. Valhalla took things to new level and Ubisoft truly showed how you should make great open world games. Highly recommending this great game, if you actually have any taste in art of video games!

Haters are just losers who want this series to go back to it's pathetic roots like AC 1 or AC 3 (worst in the series).     Solid 8, maybe even 8.5! Best game in the franchise in a long time. Played through the whole game and of course there are side missions that feel a bit boring, but over all the story is engaging and even most side quests are pretty fun. Graphics and gameplay delivers well on a 4k HDR PS4 pro.

    Ubisoft очень приятно удивили. Наконец то в игру вернули интересные и разнообразные квесты. Они просто лучшие за последние три части серии. Теперь квест это не только завуалированное иди подерись, а теперь это может быть интересная история, загадка, расследование или что-то вроде и при том не обязательно что во время прохождения придется вообще драться. Тоесть теперь каждый квест этоUbisoft очень приятно удивили. Наконец то в игру вернули интересные и разнообразные квесты. Они просто лучшие за последние три части серии. Теперь квест это не только завуалированное иди подерись, а теперь это может быть интересная история, загадка, расследование или что-то вроде и при том не обязательно что во время прохождения придется вообще драться. Тоесть теперь каждый квест это непредсказуемое приключение а не протсо очередной бой. Очень порадовали. Так же хочется отметить красоту и детальность игрового мира, в целом графику и оптимизацию. Хоть оптимизация и хорошая, но в игре присутствуют баги, у меня например обрывками воспроизводились диалоги, канаты и кусты с морошей не отображались, дракар пропадал с карты, дальность прорисовки иногда бросается в глаза, иногда персоонаж застревает в нелепом месте, мол не может пройти там где нужно просто поднять ногу и опставить её на камень, ну это я так чего с ходу вспомнил а так там ещё много разного. Отмечаю конечно что монетизация в игре так и осталась очень сильной. И я говорю не просто про платные DLC (это вообще норм, плюс в игре даже есть бесплатные DLC), а говорю я про встроенный в игру супермаркет. Там вам и оружие, и костюмы, и внешние виды птицы/лошади/дракара, ресурсы, карты секретов, ускорители и усилители опыта и экономии времени, лутбоксы, комплекты, ну в общем буквально все за ваши деньги. Вкладывать не хочется вообще, но только представьте что если вы захотите придать какой-то прикольный вид своему герою и его транспортам то будьте готовы выложить ещё 3-4К и это за один только комплект, а из игры специально вырезаны почти все прикольные комплекты что бы вам хотелось вложиться. Ну в общем несмотря даже на баги и ужасную монетизацию плюсы игры все равно сильно перевешивают и играть наконецто действительно интересно. Девять бубликов из десяти возможных.… Expand

    Great game, it really makes you feel like you're in early medevial England, a feeling a hadn't had for a while in AC. Gets a little repetetive futher in the game but it dosn't ruin it.     Graphics and the world are amazing! Extremely immersive environment. It would get a 10 if the combat was a bit more engaging. Definite worth the buy.

    Its a very good and underrated game, the secrets and treasures often require intelligence to be soulved and found, its very cool, and the armour upgrades throughout the story make it really satisfying, i recommend it.

    This is actually really solid assassins creed. My favorite part is exploring and just visiting these old locations like London or Stonehenge, but combat is also great. Would recommend!

    Too many bugs and the game crashed a lot of times. There are so many collectibles but the side quests were great and never annoying. A funny game like always

    Good game. Loved the Vikings and Norse Mythology theme and overall a good experience. Great landscapes. There are some bugs here and there and some NPCs graphically are not good enough, as an AC game is more of the same.

    It's absolute joy to play video game that look graphically beautiful, has so much variety in locations, absolutely beautiful ambient music in a year where absolute broken unfinished messes like Cyberpunk 2077 have been released. Thank you Ubisoft, seriously!

    Perfectly working beautiful game with interesting story and good main character, big interesting world to discover. AC Valhalla is basically everything that Cyberpunk 2077 wishes to be.

    This beautiful game literally made this awful year so much better. I was waiting for it since April and it's finally here. I was expecting decent game, but it still managed to surprise me with tons of different locations and secret areas.

    Beautiful graphics, nice main character that actually has good voice acting, how about that. Combat is very bloody, reminds me Unity's combat, open world is great. Would recommend.

    My top 3 games of 2020 are following : 1. Final Fantasy VII Remake, 2. Assassin's Creed Valhalla, 3. Doom Eternal. Valhalla really managed to not only impress me, but also keep my attention for very long time.

    Metacritic has always been place where haters come, that just how it is. But this time they have huge problem if they wanna hate AC Valhalla. I'll put it simply. It's very good game. Hating good game with your fake lies is not easy, so yeah. Good game, would recommend.

    There way better story here than in Odyssey or even Origins. Graphics are also better than ever. Voice acting is on par with Unity, Syndicate and Black Flag.

    I'm extremely confused with hate, for me it has been one of the best gaming experiences of 2020. Most 2020 games have been incredibly mediocre like - resident evil 3 remake, cyberpunk 2077, marvel's avengers and so on. But AC Valhalla felt like another class compared to these others.

    Until Resident Evil Village comes out, it's literally only 2020 game that is still worth playing. Doom Eternal got old very fast and i'm not gonna play Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake 24/7. Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the biggest fails of all time. Resident Evil 3 Remake was too short and boring. Last of Us 2 is one of the worst games ever made. Watch Dogs Legion is pathetic. Final Fantasy VII Remake has no reason to play again, even tho good game. Ghost of Tsushima has one of the worst camera angles in any video game ever, so i just can't play it, but it doesn't seem very interesting anyway. Marvel's Avengers is a joke. Mafia 1 Remake had good story, but has one of the emptiest open-worlds ever, there's absolutely nothing to do or explore.

    So what's left? Literally only one game - Assassin's Creed Valhalla! It's not best game ever / not best AC game, but at least it's fun enough and DLC's almost look more interesting than main game, so i'm hyped. There's obviously always option to play older games (i do that literally all the time), but this review is for people who want something new.    … Expand

    It tries to bring back what was missing previously.

    I had more fun with Odyssey (just because Ancient Greece was more colorful than England), but this game was great as well. We can choose various battle styles in this game and getting stronger as a Viking is just satisfying.

    Worst one I've played imo, played about 20 hours, got boring very fast. Map is far to big and pointless imo, these AAA games seem more focused on whoa got the bigger map than the content in it these days.

    Haven't finished it yet, but i can say i have had so much more fun with this, than i did with Odyssey and Origins combined. Valhalla finally feels like actual AC game. Specially after they added Assassin outfits. There used to be some bugs, but most of them are fixed by now. Good game.

Specially, because none of this negativity is justified. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a good game and Far Cry 6 will be good game and This is just fact that these haters need to accept and move on!

    I've played every single assassin's creed game apart from 3 and rogue. I absolutely love the AC games and my favourite had been black flag. But now..my favourite is Valhalla. It's the best assassin's creed game in my opinion. What origins and odyssey had failed to do was immerse me into its story. Valhalla however has a compelling story (probably because I love Vikings). Everything fromI've played every single assassin's creed game apart from 3 and rogue. I absolutely love the AC games and my favourite had been black flag. But now..my favourite is Valhalla. It's the best assassin's creed game in my opinion. What origins and odyssey had failed to do was immerse me into its story. Valhalla however has a compelling story (probably because I love Vikings). Everything from gameplay to sound is amazing and it has a Witcher 3 flavour to it. I just love the game. I love the settlement building. There are things that Valhalla copies from black flag and I love it. Hopefully Unisoft will release loads of dlcs and keep working on Valhalla before they release their next one.… Expand

    Problem is that half looks filler but still made me follow to see the end

И это только необходимый СЮЖЕТ! Не говорю об уничтожении всех членов ордена Древних, для того что бы закончить историю. Я эту игру проходил почти год, даже консоль не выдержала, сгорела.     Теперь о самой игре.
    Ну геймплейно и графически по сути это всё тот же AC Origins. В игре изменили систему прокачки, теперь она больше похожа на аналогичную в Skyrim. Открывая перки ты двигаешься к ним по древу умений постепенно прокачивая своё здоровье, защиту, атаку и т. д.
    Доспехи теперь можно объединять в сеты, как в Dark Souls. Это даже даёт минимальные плюшки к защите. Но, при этом, ни оружие, ни доспехи продать нельзя. Ты их находишь и носишь с собой до окончания игры. Так же у всего этого добра есть прокачка для которой требуются определённые ресурсы. Но с этим связан некий казус. Например я нашёл супер копьё легендарного уровня (в игре их 4 вида: хорошее, превосходное, безупречное и легендарное. Разница в силе и количестве рун) на 30! уровне. Мне надо было только вложиться в его усиление и я получил читерское оружие уровне на 50том, с которым я почти всю игру и прошел. Да теперь у самого оружия нет уровня владения, если нашёл можешь пользоваться любым.
    Сюжет можно сказать интересный, но очень затянутый. Поначалу пытался брать доп. миссии, но потом забил на это дело так как и сюжетных такая уйма, что просто игра может затянуться часов на 200 или больше. А с данным подходом всё прохождение превратится в тупую рутину.
    Ещё я достиг 375 уровня и у меня было открыто практически всё древо прокачки и проходить доп. задания просто смысла не было.
    О приятном. В отличии от Odyssey где ты мог заняться сексом буквально с каждым продавцом, в Valhalla всяких лгбт элементов стало в разы меньше. Хотя иногда можно начать романтическую линию как с мужчиной, так и с женщиной. Ещё чернокожих викингов я не заметил, но есть викинги-азиаты.
    С женщинами как всегда в западном зазеркалье: в игре они все великие и честные воины, даже если бывают врагами. Предатели, трусы и воры только яйценосцы.
    Ещё, как я понял, авторы просто уже не знают как и куда прилепить этот "Анимус" и наше время, но концовка всё же интригует.
    Ещё игра очень темная.
    Резюмирую. Ubisoft надо что то менять. Растягивать геймплей далее некуда. Авторы хотели создать игру в которой есть всё! И бои, и охота за головами, и строительство, и рыбалка, и охота, и набеги, и вариативность. Да это неплохо, но начинает страдать сам геймплей, а это не правильно.
    Игра неплохая, но затянутая. Кто не проходил, но хочет, готовьтесь потратить месяца три на прохождение. Ну если конечно играть часа по два в день, а не сутки напролёт!    … Expand

    It gives me the felling that i am playing an old assassins creed game, not amazing but a good story, nice gameplay mechanics and at the first it has some bugs by the time it became good. Just a final thing it is still carshes some times.

    I just finished the main story, and I really enjoyed the entire journey so far. The story is really well-done, with great characters and varying objectives. The way the game is split up into chapters is great, and each story is really gripping and sometimes emotional. instead of tons of side quests, there are small one-beat "world events" that range from hilarious to heartbreaking. There are two reasons I marked it down to a 9 out of 10: there are still many bugs (not game-breaking for me, but mostly annoying), and I didn't like how I basically wore the same outfit and used the same weapon the entire game. Unlike Odyssey where I got to try a bunch of stuff, I just upgraded the same armor and weapons. All in all, I'm a big fan of this game, and can't wait to jump back in when the DLC comes out!… Expand

    So far i'm very happy with AC Valhalla, beautiful open world, lots of places to discover and explore, cities look interesting enough, story is mostly cool.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla has 3 (at least so far) beautifully crafter maps, each one has it's own tone. Voice acting is good, graphics are amazing at times, runs well.

    I'm 20 hours into game right now and really enjoy it so far. Haven't encountered any bugs, runs just fine. Longer review later, but i wanted to give my early expressions because seems like some haters are trying to lower this user score with 0's and i can't stand something like that. Good game so far.

    I'm really proud that Ubisoft managed to come back so strongly, after absolute failure that 2019 was. Even tho Ghost Recon was never their strong point, so in a way, 2019 doesn't matter much.

    This game has hardly any hardcore bugs, some small ones are expected in this big open-world game. But it's very much playable and runs well on any system. It's not even nearly as bad as Cyberpunk 2077, so haters should just stop their lies.

    Bugged, overhyped, copied. Terrible animations, terrible problems with steering character. Enemies seeing you through walls. Discovering bodies you hid. No thanks ubi. Not after another Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V

    I'm a big fan of the old assassin's creed games, and Valhalla tries to put some features and feelings from the old games here, although it's not the same thing anymore. The way you connect with Eivor is Pretty deep, he's not charismatic and overly excited like alexios / kassandra or bayek, and that's good, I felt a real person    I played all the major assassin's creed games and now Valhalla.

    Ubisoft made a good balance between real history and mythology, you'll feel naturaly inserted into a Nordic culture.

    The game has bugs and some problems, but in my gameplay I didn't had any major problem, keep in mind that you can have it.

    Being an old school assassin's creed fan, someone who is playing assassin's creed since 2008, I will choose assassin's creed Valhalla anytime over odyssey and origins. Basically they have merged those old school games with the new ones. Besides, while u r  in Norway  , u will get the vides of god of war, yes, the graphics is very identical to god of war while u r in norway. Absoluty love the game by all means but there are still big issues too. This game is extremely buggy. I'm currently stuck after the Snotinghamsvire arc and the game will not let me continue no matter what I do.     Ottimo gioco! Mi è sembrato molto come God of War nella meccanica dei movimenti e nella visuale e dopo origins e odissey mi è sembrato un bel sequel anche con molti riferimenti ad essi! Da non perdersi!! L'unica pecca per me è quando si esce dall'animus, che ti fa perdere un po' quella voglia di esplorare e non vedi l'ora di rientrare. Ed anche spesso alcuni bug sia nei menù sia in alcuneOttimo gioco!     What a great game! I bought it at full price and i regret nothing! Buy it if you have a chance or download to try it out first, because it's really good game. Worth trying and if you like it, buy it to support greatest developer of all time Ubisoft! CDprojectred is a big joke compared to superior Ubisoft! : )

    Way better than expected. I was worried, because some comments here make it look like it's worst game ever, but it's actually better than last two Assassin's Creed games. Would recommend!

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
