Amazing game! But Ubisoft come on, you need to bring it to steam. It's so important and you would get so much sales from there as well. Great game, keep going Ubisoft! More stuff like this in Far Cry 6 please and not whatever Far Cry 5 was. Make it more serious, make it mean something, go deeper with stuff. You have done it in past with Far Cry 3, AC Black Flag and AC Unity. You can do it again.

One of the best of 2020 and i'm saying it dead seriously. No game has so much content from this year (so far of course), resident evil 3 and avengers are absolute jokes compared to this. Making 5 hours long game that's sold for 60 should stop. AC Valhalla is easy 150 hours cool content with beautiful graphics.

Cyberpunk is nothing new or nothing special anyway. It's literally mixture of Skyrim and GTA V, absolute wannabe with worse world details than GTA 4 from 2008.
I'm extremely disappointed in Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 (PC as well) performance and bugs and very soon millions of other people will be as well. Cyberpunk fanboys always whined about other games when they had any bugs at launch and acted like "Cyberpunk 2077 will be this "Absolute Next-Gen miracle". It's time for reality check i guess. All it proves is that sheep will follow basically anything that gets popularity and likes.

Thank god i found Gamespot review for Cyberpunk 2077, they literally gave Cyberpunk 2077 lower score than Valhalla. Cyberpunk must be really buggy, because 7/10 is pretty low score for game that has been in development over 7 years. So as of right now i bought Valhalla and so far it's pretty nice. Maybe trying Cyberpunk 2077 in 2021 when they finally fix the game.

How can anyone in their right mind say that Odyssey is better Assassin's Creed game than Valhalla? It's absolutely fine, if you prefer Odyssey more than Valhalla, as a video game. It's very obvious that more people actually like Valhalla way more than Odyssey. It's their best selling PC game of all time! i just feel Ubisoft fans are hiding in the shadows. They are too mature to argue on internet. They don't care about pointless drama. They just want to enjoy games. But i feel like sometimes Ubisoft fans should fight back stronger. Yeah it's cool you praise these things on reddit, but there's way more important sites and metacritic is one of them.

No youtuber never mentions some random reddit "praise post" but they always show metacriti'c user score and these videos get 100 000's on views. This is manipulation 101. I know it's pathetic, because metacritic user score is most meaningless thing on this planet, but fact is, that these people are using it. It's just bunch of losers, usually some tasteless crackwatch-reddit users who hate on Ubisoft in general. They don't even play their games, they don't even care about their games. They are just pathetic, whiny losers and nothing else.

When Far Cry 6 comes out in few month, i guarantee, bunch of Ubisoft haters (who will never buy Far Cry 6 btw) start giving it 0/10 scores and i feel like this time Ubisoft fans really, really need to fight back. It has gone too far. Cdproject red released most talentless game in 20 years and these people still try to praise it, while hating on Ubisoft's perfectly decent games that actually work. Like i said, these scores don't matter at all, they never did, never will, but i feel like Ubisoft fans (and there are millions) should for once actually try to fight back, even if it's just to annoy these haters. Even that would be worth it.

It has nothing to do with company. Ubisoft has made lots of games i don't care about at all (Breakpoint, Division 2, For Honor, Crew 2) and if Valhalla would be one of these bad games i would ignore it as well, but that's not the case. Valhalla simply isn't bad game. It's just not and nothing, absolutely nothing will change that fact.

But for example Cyberpunk was not only half delivered and misses tons of promised content, but it's so broken and buggy, has 2001 NPC's and driving and they still haven't fixed it. So my bottom lines is that anyone who tries to tell that Valhalla is extremely buggy/unplayable and in worse state than Cyberpunk 2077, is simply pathetic hater who is spreading lies and nothing else. As has been the case with the last two AC games, it's really nice to look at, and the developers do a nice job of trying to insert the fictional "assassin" in with actual historical characters and various deities/mythological creatures which makes the story interesting. Unfortunately, the side quests are grindy (though blessedly finite), so cleaning up to get the Platinum (even with YouTube University to help) is daunting (despite a significantly smaller map than Odyssey). Voice acting is uneven, but I entertained myself by pretending that the actors for Basim and female Eivor were having a contest to smoke the most cigarettes during production. The music was also lackluster save for Einar Selvik's in-battle vocal compositions (disappointing, because I liked Jesper Kyd and Sarah Schachner's previous AC contributions). Improvements over the last installment include getting rid of the infinitely generating side quests and mercenaries, the animal hunts are far less grindy (remember the Elephant battles in Origins? Sheesh), it is actually possible to assassinate brutes/more powerful enemies (thank you), but there is a timing mechanic that determines your success (fair enough). Step backs include long loading times (for either fast travel or respawning), the nonsensical stamina system (blocking tires you, but attacking gets you more stamina ??), the irritating fishing mode, and a thoroughly predictable final act, with the possible exception of how the past ties in with the modern day arc. Seriously, who didn't know who the head of the "Templars" in this game was by the halfway point? I was ambivalent toward the levelling system, but I will say that the "return fire" special ability is by far my favorite mechanic introduced into the series in a LONG time. The AI's ability to spot you on normal stealth difficulty (vs. Master Assassin, which you can select early on) is a little too "good." Not as bad as "Unity" which could spot you WHILE BLENDED FFS, but I can only imagine being frustrated had I gone the more difficult route. Valhalla is a good time until you complete the story. Then it just kind of...lingers. Expand

There are far fewer cookie-cutter outposts than in previous AC’s, and most sidequests now offer an interesting story, sometimes even with a less-than-obvious solution. While some anti-grind measures have backfired, Ubisoft is on the right track. [Issue#250, page 56]

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
