    Been Ubisoft fan since 2006 when they released "Heroes of Might and Magic V", they have had hits and misses over the years, but overall very consistent company. Graphically they have always stood out, good examples from their early days would be "Cold Fear" (2005), Heroes of Might and Magic V" (2006) and "Lost: Via Domus" (2008). While i agree that they got really lazy in 2019 and i'm notBeen Ubisoft fan since 2006 when they released "Heroes of Might and Magic V", they have had hits and misses over the years, but overall very consistent company.     It's was very much playable already, but needed some work. After today's patch 1.0.4 it's basically perfect. All major issues i had are now fixed and it plays well on any system. Graphics look better than ever, framerate is solid. Amazing game!

    Extremely hyped for Cyberpunk 2077, but until December 10th i'm gonna play AC Valhalla, after 30 hours i can say it's million times better than Odyssey and as AC Fan since 2013 i appreciate older elements, like more parkour/climbing, hidden blade, Hood and all that good stuff.     Way better than Odyssey. It may have just much bloat but it’s fine tuned and focused a lot more. It doesn’t seem so overwhelming and I like the darker tone. Combat is back to how it was with still trying to make it the new mechanics introduced in the previous two games. Not sure what if I like it 100% but it’s fun and the grit is most welcomed.

I know some Ghost fans would disagree with me and that's fine, but for me Ac Valhalla was just so much more.     I bet there will be tons of people who wanna give this game 0 or 1 scores because they are empty, sad people who are not able to enjoy anything good. I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time. I was hoping it will be good, but wow.

    If this is not nominated for "The Game Awards" i wont take this show even seriously anymore. I'm not saying it's best game ever or anything, but it's very good game and is one of the standout games of 2020.     This is the best from the last 3 games using a similar architecture. I really like the combat which is less messy and nervous way too fast like in Ubi Quebecs titles and more timed based.. you feel more in control. Also the stealth area work very well and similarly to the OG games. The AI could feel unresponsive at first but it is actually pretty well adapted to the situations. I would complain about bugs and lack of polish but most (weird transitions from cut scenes to gameplay) is resolved if you dont play the game off of an external hard drive like I did. I wish Ubi would push the tech further to get a mix of euphoria and the animations from a naughty dog game. Hopefully they are pushing in that direction for their true next gen games. As it stands for a cross gen it's pretty awesome. If you're a fan of the series or a fan of big adventure games get it you won't regret it.… Expand

    Absolutely masterful comeback from Ubisoft. It's kinda hard to believe it's the same company that made Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Watch Dogs legion was fine, but AC Valhalla is just something else. Depth of this game blows me away. At least now i have something to do until Cyberpunk 2077 (hopefully) comes out.

Instead of actually enjoying this absolutely beautiful, mysterious and interesting game world that Ubisoft has created.     From graphical standpoint this game is absolute masterclass, they really hit the nail with both Norway and England. This game's soundtrack is one of the most beautiful and relaxing soundtracks i have heard in long time in any video game. Combat is good, cities look interesting enough. There's many places to climb and parkour on. Overall very good.

    I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah". I'm personally not going to write long review, because there's so many people out there who know how to say things better, so i will make it short. This game is absolutely amazing.

    As a long time Assassin's Creed fan i'm loving this one. World is so well designed, graphically stunning (Specially on PC maxed out, not that stunning on ps4). I have both versions, so when people say that graphics aren't that good, that means they haven't seen PC or PS5 versions, because these versions look incredible.

    Easy game awards candidate. Unlike so many 2020 games (re3remake,avengers,mafia), Valhalla has so much interesting content and things to do. Beautiful graphics, good voice acting and nice story.

    This Assassin's Creed game is just something else. This is new level and i want more of this, not right now ,but in general terms. Can't wait for Ireland and Paris dlc, even tho i have enough content already in this base game. Both Norway and England look absolutely stunning.

    According to Ubisoft this game was huge success and as hardcore assassinscreed fan i'm very happy for it. This game is amazing anyway, but just to hear that it's actually doing really well just made this november so much better. It's so much better than Odyssey that these two games shouldn't even be compared. This is more like 2020 Black Flag or something like that.

    Norway and England are both equally beautiful. Really enjoying just free roaming around, exploring hidden secrets and stuff. Performance is fine, graphics are really good. Overall solid game.

    All major issues were fixed in today's patch, whoever still gives it anything below 7/10 is not actual Assassin's Creed fan and your opinion doesn't count. It's one of the better Assassin's Creed games ever and if you don't like it, go play your avengers. Keep your hands off this awesomeness, if you give it 0 or 1 out of 10, you clearly don't deserve to play games like this anyway.

    As i have played pretty much every Ubisoft AAA game i would almost say that AC Valhalla might be their best map's they have ever designed. Also, one of the best Assassin's Creed games ever. I don't even care what next AC will be or if it fails or whatever else, because i already know i'm going to play Valhalla for years to come.

Nobody shakes a head. Ubisoft releases not perfect, but perectly playable (at least with any RTX card) game and people whine and complain like it's worst thing that has ever happened. It's just insanely, insanely pathetic how these absolute losers act. I literally hate them, i'm not even hiding it. If you are Ubisoft hater, i hate you. There was this one person on youtube comparing Valhalla graphics to 2013 game and saying it looks like sht. That's complete, absolute next level lies.     If you liked Black Flag, but didn't really care for Odyssey, i would strongly recommend trying Valhalla. It's best of both worlds. Stunningly beautiful game world, both Norway and England truly shine. One of my favorite games of 2020.

    Ubisoft did home run with this one. Reminds me Black Flag days, and it has this dark tone that Unity had. Graphics are amazing, parkour is finally good again.

    Would recommend this to Assassin's Creed fans who liked Black Flag or even Unity. It's extremely well made and possibly one of best open worlds in whole series. Don't let yourself be bothered of these 1 or 0 votes, 99% of these are fake accounts, possibly made by small group of haters who don't even own this game, it's very typical on metacritic.

    AC Valhalla has very big map and it's very long game, so basically if you don't like long game, there's no point trying this one. But if you do like long games, it's very solid. One of the better AC games imo.

    I was a little worry first (we all know Ubi), but after roughly 30 hours in game on Drengr difficulity I must say, that Vallhalla is easily best AC game ever released. I still can't believe how good this one is. Highly reccommended.

    Deep beautiful open world Assassin's Creed game, one of the best in the whole series. I'm so glad it didn't disappoint, cause i was kinda worried, but it's amazing.

    Beautiful atmosphere. Game has a few bugs here and there but so does every other game at launch. The game let's you play as you want and has a more diverse play style than odyssey. A refreshing open world game.

    The game's pretty good I'm actually loving it, but the only problem is the optimisation. Sometimes the FPS drops but I hope Ubisoft will fix it on the PS5 (or even the ps4 lol)

    fps is solid for the most part, graphically stunning, story is good, voice acting is good, open world is epic. It has basically everything i was hoping for and then some more.

    Why Metacritic allows reviews with zero scores from people who clearly don't even have this game, makes absolutely no sense. But whatever i guess. This game is amazing anyway. I would give 9, but now i'm forced to give 10 to get this score to where it needs to be.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla has two big maps for exploring, sailing with your boat on rivers, nice story, good voice acting and decent combat. To me it's one of the best of 2020.

    Generally it's not nearly as bad some people pretend it to be, i have a feeling these people haven't even tried it. Watching two youtube videos doesn't count. Map is big, there's a lot stuff to do.

    Classic AC elements like hidden blade / Hood are back and i'm very happy for that, finally.
    Story is from average to actually pretty good. Depends on what quests you do and what choices you make. There's lots of different weapons and hoods.

    London was little bit disappointing, other that it has some decent parkour areas, but what wasn't disappointing? Pretty much everything else. Would recommend if you like assassin's creed games.

    AC Valhalla has already sold over 2 million copies, amazing. Game is really awesome, with interesting characters, good voice acting, choices that actually matter, cool story and even romance options.

    Easy top 5 game from 2020. There's not much competition even. "Final Fantasy VII Remake", "Doom Eternal" ....ummm.....ummm.... "Ghost of Tsushima" i guess, but it had absolutely one of the worst camera angles ever and it wasn't that interesting, it was just overhyped, because "muh exclusives". But it was good game to beat "Last of Us 2" in sales, so in that regard, i'm happy this gameEasy top 5 game from 2020. There's not much competition even.     Ghost of Tsushima shouldn't be even compared to AC Valhalla. Yes they share similar elements, but overall they are completely different games. AC Valhalla world is way bigger, deeper and it's part of long series. Ghost of Thusima is completely different thing. There you wont climb mountains and assassinate people with hidden blade.     Power level 100 right now and i can't stop playing, it's way too addictive. Haven't felt like that in very long time, seriously. Ubisoft is complete mystery to me, they can make absolute trash in 2019 and then one of their best games ever in 2020. Hopefully Far Cry 6 will be good as well, looking forward to that.

    Very good Assassin's Creed as expected, trailers didn't mislead and there's actually way more interesting content than i could have ever expected. So far i have seen three maps, Norway, England and Vinland (North-America). There's this "dream-world" where you meet all the gods, that's also really cool. Hyped for Ireland and Paris DLC's.

    Haven't personally had any fps problems, but i play 1080p, so yea. I personally never cared about 4K or whatever. I tried to keep my expectations checked, but not only it delivered, it's more than what i could have even wanted from Assassin's Creed game. Without a question better than Origins and Odyssey. It's way more serious, darker and i love it.

    I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good. There's so much to do, voice acting is great, story is great, graphics are amazing. It's going to be something i'm gonna play until cyberpunk comes out. There's not much else anyway. Not interested at all in spiderman dlc.

    If this was PS4 exclusive playstation fanboys would praise it to heavens, but it's not exclusive, so they need to praise their story simulators instead lol.
    Don't get me wrong, AC Valhalla has good story, but it just has way more interesting content than usual PS4 Exclusives.

    Finally something good to play before cyberpunk 2077 comes out. 2020 has been so lackluster of decent games, only ones that come to mind are final fantasy vii remake and doom eternal and doom eternal wasn't best imo.

    El juego es muy bueno. Si que repite cosas de los juegos anteriores pero las perfecciona y la pule al maximo. La historia es muy larga pero la temática de los asesinos y templarios se hace presente. La ambientación es genial, el gran problema son los bugs que posee.

    Pretty obvious game awards nominee, i'm not saying it wins anything, but 100% deserves spot there. One of the best games of 2020. If you give a 0 score, go to hell. Can't stand people like that.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
