    Of course it has some bugs, it's insanely big open world game, but most bugs were fixed in 1.0.4 patch, now from here on it's just quality fixes and additional content.

    I have played this over 125 hours and i can tell that this is one of the best open world games that i have ever played

    (Reviewed on PS4 Pro) Now, I have played Valhalla for around 40 hours now, done every single mystery I saw while exploring, did as much raids as I can. Now the game is your typical ac game in terms of elements. Go synchronize positions, raid camps, kill enemy patrols etc. But the important thing is pros and cons:

    Pros: -Good combat -Instead of just getting abilities as you rank up,    (Reviewed on PS4 Pro) Now, I have played Valhalla for around 40 hours now, done every single mystery I saw while exploring, did as much raids as I can. Now the game is your typical ac game in terms of elements. Go synchronize positions, raid camps, kill enemy patrols etc. But the important thing is pros and cons:

    Pros:
    -Good combat
    -Instead of just getting abilities as you rank up, you get base skills and some abilities
    -Weapon variety is pretty good
    -Graphics are nice
    -Open world is good
    -Gears are found less, but are more unique
    -Boss variety is pretty good
    -Multiple Storylines
    -A fresh game after a lot of ac games with the same formula
    -I havent experienced a lot of frame drops.
    -Stun Finishers are very satisfying
    -Upgrading your settlement as you progress is very fun
    -A lot of choices that actually matter
    -A lot of minigames, puzzles in the open world

    Cons:
    -Some parts of the game are very buggy
    -Main Story is repetitive (Eg. In the whole main story all you do is go to a place, speak with the person in charge, solve their problems, raid a big castle in the end) It has so less unique parts compared to other ac games.
    -Story is not fun
    -Sometimes the characters facial animations arent really that good (except the main characters)
    -The story is so long that it gets boring after some time. Remember how you got pretty bored in odyssey because the game was too long? This is much longer than that.

    Great game to spend time in November until Cyberpunk comes in December. Valhalla is graphically amazing. I have heard some people don't like combat that much, i personally like it, not sure what's the problem. Overall very good AC game, might be Ubisoft's best open world ever.

    Just came here to say that i'm really enjoying this game, i have power level 54 right now, so there's so much to do still, but i'm already like over 20 hours in. I have tried to explore most of the map, overall it's well designed, but ocean seems kinda empty? Did i miss something? No giant squids? Come on, this game needs giant squids, it's perfect for that.     It's rare when i don't feel that i lost my money buying a game. There's always this "maybe i shouldn't", but not with this one. I'm actually addicted.

    Ubisoft somehow managed to make really good game in like 2 years, nice. Far Cry 5 had nice graphics, but story was meh and Odyssey was cool at first but overall it was meh. I don't even wanna mention last year's Ubisoft games. Valhalla turns the tables. Hopefully Far Cry 6 continues this trend and they actually stay good, how nice would that be.

    I get serious Black Flag vibes, even tho i liked Unity too (i don't care about rough launch, they fixed it). Very good, hopefully DLC's are equally good.

    I'm someone who really thinks deeply what games to spend my time on and what not. So far been playing Valhalla about 20 hours and i can already tell that i'm easily going to 100's. Very addicting and beautiful graphics too.

    As i have both PC and PS4 version, i can say without lying that PC version is way better, BUT, it's nice to have PS4 version and play that when i don't have PC around. Overall very good game.

    RIP all the nostalgic-nerds who are not able to enjoy great things. Reading stuff like rip ac 2007-2014 doesn't even make me laugh anymore, it's just next level pathetic.     Assassin's Creed is one of the greatest things that has happened to gaming after Grand theft auto series. Ability to go back in time 100s of years and visit these old cities and locations is simply amazing. No other game series offer something like that.     Great game, Ubisoft forever! Most underrated video game company in history of video game companies. They make games that are from decent to good, they often have rough launces, but they ALWAYS fix the problems in few months. And what happens?     Very good game, finally people found out that Cyberpunk 2077 is buggier than this game ever was. Who could have known? Before that everyone acted like "Cyberpunk 2077" will be perfect and Valhalla having few bugs is end of the world. Who's laughing now?

    Ottimo gioco tanti contenuti buona giocabilità a parte l ia dei nemici rivedibile storia molto interessante peccato che tecnicamente ci sia notevole differenza tra la versione oldgen e la versione next gen nel complesso il migliore della nuova trilogia

    I am a fan of Assassins Creed games since the flagship release with PS3 of the original AC. From graphics this is a gorgeous game with HDR settings for your bloom and lightning effects. The story is emotionally driven with the odd time were it gets slow and a slight grind for collectables.

    Overall very well done game, my only bother is the controls can be a little clunky at times and    I am a fan of Assassins Creed games since the flagship release with PS3 of the original AC.     llevo unas 80h y me esta pareciendo de lo mejor de AC no lo en terminado pero por el momento me parece un gran juego. peca de repetitivo ya son 3AC muy parecidos apenas an innovado aun así el mejor origins y valhalla odyssey lo tacho jajaja no me gusto

    Aporta muchas mejoras comparado con su antecesor. Sin llegar a ser un titulo perfecto, sabe cautivar con el estilo vikingo de saqueos, banquetes y ambiciones. Devolviendo un poco la esencia de pasados Assassins. En resumen, un titulo que disfrutaran mas los fans de los ultimos juegos, que los fans de siempre, aunque en mi caso, siendo fan desde el primero, lo estoy disfrutando y mucho.

It just has huge world and that's the future of any game series and i personally like when there's more content, more places to go. Black Flag did EXACTLY the same in 2013 already. Rockstar has made all their GTA worlds bigger with each gameIt's very much an assassin's creed game, more than Odyssey ever could have been.     There's only four games from 2020 that i can say truly deserve to be nominated at "The Game Awards", these are : Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx and Assassin's creed Valhalla. Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake was really nice, but come on, all in all it's not that revolutionary.

    Finally something new to play, i have explored most of England already, but there's just so much and imo it's not filler. Most of it is actually interesting, for example underground tunnels and stuff like that is really cool.     Patch 1.0.4 pretty much fixed every problem i had previously. I'm sure there might be some bugs, but i haven't encountered any in 5 hour playtime so far. Thank you Ubisoft.

My favorite games were GTA 4, Max Payne 3, Alan Wake, Skyrim, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Red Dead Redemption, stuff like that. But when Assassin's Creed 4 came out late 2013, that was first time i actually got interested. They innovated so much with that game, it's crazy. More i played it, more i liked it, i started looking up historical facts about that era, etc. First time ever I really liked Assassin's Creed game and from then on i have been huge fan. Yeah Unity had awful launch, but they pretty much fixed it in first 2 months and i almost hate that people bring it up all the time, because so many games have had absolutely awful launch, but they never get so much whining, maybe it was because AC is so popular idk. Either way Unity has best parkour of the series and graphics that still impress me today. Odyssey was kind of mistake imo, because story was meh and it grindy. Now Valhalla fixed it all and bring back stuff i loved from Black Flag and parkour elements from Unity. Overall Valhalla is very good AC game and better than last two.… Expand

    Meh side - where's unity and black flag legacy outfits? i'm so tired of Altair's outfit in every game, come on, unity and black flag please!!!!!!
    Bad side - most bugs got fixed with 1.0.4 patch, but there's tons of things they could still patch because it's insanely big game.

    I never really cared for Odyssey, yeah it was fun in 2018, but overall story sucked and it missed so many AC elements. Valhalla fixes it all. Only thing i would complain about Valhalla is that i run out of arrows all the time. Why can't i craft arrows? Come on Ubisoft.

    OMG i love this game so much, basically nothing from 2020 compares, okay doom eternal is great and final fantasy 7 remake as well, but these are so different from this. They are all great in their own way. But AC Valhalla is just epic.

    I bought both PS5 and PS4 versions (PC digital as well), but PS5 and PS4 as discs, just to have all possible versions i cared about. Am i fan? I think so lol.

    From modern ones easy top 4 - Black Flag, Valhalla, Unity, Origins. Good stuff. But i would like to mention Syndicate because it's so underrated, it's not best, but it's still fun enough and has some really nice graphics at times.

    Another amazing new product from the Assassin series that will take a lot of time to play. A good combination of ships from different cities and the story, including a lot of other missions. I've been stuck for 60 hours but I'm still a long way off...

    Amazing game that has Four huge maps (Norway, England (biggest of them all), North-America and "Dream World". They will also add Ireland later. Really good game, specially compared to other trash that has come out in 2020.

    I love this game! Playing AC Valhalla is like going to a "buffet". There are many things to do but just don't try "chew" them all in one go. Rushing to finish the game as soon as possible can make you feel bloated and bored. Take your time and don't rush to finish the game. Enjoy the progression of the journey.

It's honestly sad to see that gaming landscape has become so weak and only boring and extremely simple games like spider-man: miles morales or demon's souls get attention, while games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla where you actually need to think get pushed aside.     Extremely fun game, if you actually know what you are doing. If you are used to linear games that tell you what to do at every second then don't even try AC Valhalla, it's clearly not for you. This games focuses on fact that YOU will explore the world, YOU will make YOUR own journey. If you don't like these kinds of games, there's no point trying it.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Best Video Game Ubisoft has released in 3 years, not only that. It's also one of the Best Assassin's Creed games ever made. There's no need for spoilers or long review, i think that should say it all.

    8 Days to go for Cyberpunk 2077, so hyped! But until then i can play this epic, been having so much fun with Valhalla, would recommend if you like big open world games.

    Gonna play this for very long time, that's for sure. I'm power level 90 rn and there's so much to do still. Can't wait for dlc's.

    Lots of content, at least 3 huge maps, more coming with dlc's i think, combat is brutal, story is fun most of the time, graphics are amazing.

    Some more patches would help, but overall it runs well and i haven't encountered any bugs, but i'm sure there's stuff to fix still, because it's very big open world. But other than that, it's really good.

    World of gaming truly is full of extremely toxic (yes i hate that word too but it works in this context) people. Amount of salt, anger and just whining is beyond pathetic. AC Valhalla is well crafter Assassin's Creed game that (obviously) could use some patches and these patches are coming Mid-December by the way, but overall very good!

    After playing it nearly 60 hours i can say that it's very nice game. Like seriously. Whoever is giving it low scores is just afraid that "Cyberhype 2077" gets less attention. I personally like both games, but i just hate when something is extremely overhyped.

    Very beautiful and atmospheric game. Many new game mechanics and slightly improved side quests all make this game amazing. Minor technical issues could not spoil my personal game experience. Highly recommend!

    This game is a ton of fun. I've dumped about 23 hours into the game and have enjoyed every minute thus far. Odyssey was fun as well but didn't quite nail the landing in regards to story and side quests. I've only scratched the surface of this game and I've already had multiple times where I found myself chuckling . Really looking forward to diving even deeper into this game.

    Not sure why this game only has a 6.7 user review. This is the best assassins creed yet. Amazing gameplay. Graphics aren’t as clean as odyssey but the gameplay and story make up for that. Love this game.

    This game has possibly most relaxing and same time hype music i have ever heard in video game. It's not some random tunes, but really well made soundtrack. Game is good too.

    I preordering it in June i think, i was 50/50 at first, but i was like "whatever", because setting was very promising. I had high hopes, but didn't want to over-hype it either. now been playing it 10 days or so and it's so good.

    Better than most 2020 games, that's for sure. Maybe even one of the best Assassin's Creed games, time will tell. But right now it's extremely fun and addicting. I bet 90% of these who give 0/10 or 1/10 haven't even played it. Just sucks that 2020 happens to have so many losers who have nothing better to do with their empty lives, than giving low scores to games they don't even play.

    I think i know what it is. Not that many people really cared about mafia, so it didn't attract that many haters and it was easy to get mafia user score to normal, but AC is very popular, so of course it attracted haters. But it's absolute injustice, because this game is very good and it's literally ONLY ps4 game as of right now that is ACTUALLY GOOD, but has low user score. Every other ps4 game has normal scores, so it's very important to get this user score to normal, because it's one of the best games of 2020. For sony it's easy, i literally witnessed how fake asian reviews got Demon's Souls Remake to over 500 positive 10/10's in one day.
    But ubisoft and other companies doesn't have that asian army that upvotes their games, they rely on actual fans.    … Expand

I think any reasonable person would do that before paying 60 dollars. I would never but Marvel's Avengers, already knowing that i will hate it and then gonna give it 0/10. Makes no sense.     Those who have last of us 2 rated as 10/10 and just come here to give Valhalla 1/10 without even ever caring about this series must some kind of new low. This is beyond pathetic. I don't wanna know what kind of disgusting empty and hateful people these are. Valhalla is amazing.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
