    first off i payed $130 plus tax for this game. Easily the most trash of the Assassins game. the fighting is clunky, no real combat just rely on ur abilities and dodge roll, roll has 2 many iframes. way too easy on anything but hardest mode, then enemies 1 or 2 hit u even with best heavy armor on. only 2 of every weapon type (2 bear daggers, 2 raven dagger. no real variety) ps4 pro Full offirst off i payed $130 plus tax for this game. Some cant beat the game to this day. i beat it 2 times found at least 20 different bugs each time. cant complete all world events. the devs say no newgameplus because it is only worth playing once. dlcs officially pushed back weeks. river raids are not what they said they were going to be. ur npcs on river raid take massive damage on hardest needing u 2 constantly revive them costing rations. most weapons and armor is real cash only or u have to farm weekly missions that are exactly the same to get opals to buy. u get 5 opal a mission armor cost 125. weapons 150. it seems like they are trying to make where only stuff u buy is worth while and impossible to collect all unless you play every day for 2 years. the story is great but everything else feels like an xbox 360 game. i will never buy an assassins creed game again before release.… Expand

    As in the previous two games, it was a copy and paste game. bad fighting mechanics. bad story. ubisoft doesn't improve anything. just copying and pasting.

    Versteht die Wertung nicht falsch, ich hatte Spaß mit Assassin's Creed Valhalla, aber es war für mich eines der bisher schwächsten Spiele der Reihe. Alles wirkt irgendwie repetitiv und auch das Anwerben von Verbündeten hilft nicht wirklich, eine packende Story zu erzeugen. Und mir persönlich fehlt auch enorm der Assassinen Bezug im Spiel.

    Without a doubt the worst and most offensive game in the series. First and foremost, the main story has a glitch in several spots that prevents you from finishing it. I've been waiting since almost day 1 and I still haven't been able to complete it. The quests, especially the world activities, don't give you any markers or anything in Eagle Vision to know where you are going. The scenery, while probably accurate, is the most dull choice they could've made. It is almost nothing but swamp and field, which is difficult for a climbing-based game. Also, several side quests can't be completed because the game refuses to acknowledge anonymity status after eliminating everyone. Gameplay was fair, but the antagonist was predictable. If they fixed the story and quests, then maybe I'd bump the rating up to a 1. Or if they actually listen to customer submitted glitch reports before releasing unwanted DLC expansions. Not that they probably care. And by the way, this is from multiple gamers, not just me.… Expand

    Barely had anything to do with assassins. So if you're looking for an assassins creed game? You might as well just play the previous titles (excluding Odyssey)

    Its incredibly bloated and by the third or even by the second act you just want it to end. Stealth is pretty much not an option, ever, since enemies can spot you with their backs turned from a mile away.

    glitchy glitchy mess...constant crashes....horrendous mini games, especially the songs, non loveable characters. Vast open space with nothing in it not even music felt empty.

    Sorry, worst Assassin's Creed ever. No offense, the graphics is really really great. But I've never been so bored after several hours like in Valhalla. Odyssey wasn't good as all, but Valhalla make so many things wrong, going in a wrong direction. I want have back the old style stealth action. Not this RPG style Skyrim-fake.

    Undoubtedly assassins creed Valhalla is one of the worst versions of the series, this game can not be called assassin creed at all, and I really can not believe Ubisoft has given us such a thing

    Game looks good but is a typical ubisoft game that copy and pastes it assets excessively. Experienced several crashes while playing it thankfully no major bugs. Overall the game was standard and formulaic. This full price game also includes several overpriced micro transactions. Unless you adore vikings then you can safely skip this one.

    Not regretting trying it, here's the lesson, never take negative reviews seriously on metacritic until you have tried certain game for yourself. You might miss out on many outstanding games that are hated for dumb reasons.

    The game have the same problem than odissey, is a good game, a good RPG, but is not a good Assassin's creed Game. The game's history Focus on eivor clan not on the history of the creed. If you want to play a AC Game like the PS3 AC games, this is not your Game

Absolutely disrespectful to the players to release this game after giving the players two broken messes of AC games back to back right before this. I've pumped about 75 hours in and have noticed my enjoyment decrease significantly as my play time increased. While I would rather have that time back, at least I can say I gave it a chance instead of leaving a 10/10 48 hours after release. Also the cats look more like Shrek than they look like cats… Expand

    Les bug sont aussi constant les chargement quand même très long pour une licence avec autant de moyen on s'aperçoit que l'argent est au cœur du sujets :Payer pour double xp ( d'ailleurs l'expérience est plutôt important dans le jeu ont peut pas juste rush l'histoire sans s'occuper du reste à côté) jeu solo mais propose énormément de cosmétiques pour encore plus d'argent .

    Two big open worlds full of secrets and treasures, amazing. Nice graphics. Game story solid with interesting plot. Performance could be better, needs patching. Definitely an upgrade from Odyssey, they did a lot of job in characters. Skill tree is a knock out, although bit chaotic. Love getting lost in there.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Valhalla była czymś, na co byłem mega zajarany, kiedy wyszedł pierwszy trailer. Po 6 miesiącach czekania w moje ręce w końcu trafiła ta gra i po odpaleniu nie zawiodłem się. Gra była czymś, co sprzyjało moim zainteresowaniom. Piękny świat, a przede wszystkim ogromny. Twórcy znowu nie zawiedli nas w kwestii świata. Norwegia to było cudowne miejsce gdzie rozpoczęliśmy naszą przygodę, a właściwie prolog. Kiedy wypłynąłem z niej moim oczom ukazała się Anglia w czasach 9 wieku. Od razu wiedziałem, że mi się tu spodoba. O tej produkcji można by dużo mówić, ale streszczając, jest to genialna gra o wikingach, no i właśnie, o wikingach. Temat Asasynów jest tu trochę pominięty, chociaż jacyś ukryci się tam pojawiają, to nasza postać nie jest ukrytym, natomiast w porównaniu do poprzedniej części, mamy tu z nimi do czynienia, oraz mamy w swoim wyposażeniu ukryte (tym razem tylko z nazwy) ostrze. Z postacią Eivora dosyć szybko się utożsamiamy i płynnie poznajemy ten rozległy świat, pomagając innym terytoriom. Do tej pory najdłuższa część w jaką przyszło mi grać, nie sądziłem, że po Odyssei może być coś jeszcze dłuższego. Bardzo miło wspominam tę grę.… Expand

While it is beautiful, the combat gets boring fast, the main story doesn't really capture you and eventually the beauty of the surrounding nature gets repetitive. Also this game came out in 2020, 2 years after Red Dead Redemption 2 and it loses to that game in almost every aspect - nature, wildlife, gameIt's definitely a decent game, but I couldn't push myself to even finish it.     Just played 8 hours of this for the free weekend, it has a really weak story, very beautiful English land, super clunky combat, a whole lot of collecting different things for god knows what, super clunky attacking of pots, and the **** blacksmith.     After having to replay five hours of the game because of the "save bug" I'm finally back in the game and really enjoying it.

    Since patch 1.2.0 is out fixing most of the nasty bugs, along with the Ostara Festival (easter festival will be deployed in your town with tournaments, egg hunting and) I must say this is a well performed AC game now every fan of the saga MUST HAVE and try at some point. - England map is baste and extremely detailed in many places.
    - The well done 4k textures in every building and every    Since patch 1.2.0 is out fixing most of the nasty bugs, along with the Ostara Festival (easter festival will be deployed in your town with tournaments, egg hunting and) I must say this is a well performed AC game now every fan of the saga MUST HAVE and try at some point. - England map is baste and extremely detailed in many places.
    - The well done 4k textures in every building and every building or near every being accessible is a thing it truly shocked me and immersed me a lot into keep digging places and enjoying the map.    … Expand

They also changed the LVL system, it's better but not perfect. The sounds in this game are the worst (during the celebration you might find that the crowd is silent). If you liked the odyssey you'll probably like this game, if not justMostly it's a reskin of the odyssey. The fighting system still weak, the feeling of the character is bad. The setting is amazing, I liked the camp building. They also changed the LVL system, it's better but not perfect.     Is it perfect, no. After putting 140 hours it if I can tell you that it’s a damn great game, and the best game in a while. I enjoyed that the game put more focus on stealth and assassinations. Huge world, and for the first time actually an interesting story. Every area you pledge to has its own story, its own affairs and most of the time it’s an intriguing adventure.     It is a good game,but the biggest issues are the bugs which wasn’t there in Origins and Odyssey... come on Ubisoft you did great but you really need to fix this, can’t finish one of the missions cause it’s bugged,can’t defeat one of the legendary animals cause it’s bugged. Game crashes and I’m not talking about the first 1-20 hours. The story is not groundbreaking but it was interesting enough to keep me invested.     The game is pretty great, the story is good, characters are good, graphics and gameplay are great, I'm just not a really big fan of the new side quests, but that comes down to personal preference.
    However right now the game is just filled with bugs, most of them will get on your way if they happen, and some of them might even stick through your gameplay (it happened to me btw).

    Big empty world with a lot of repetitive stuff to do.. combat is stiff and only was dynamic with two spears equipped. Graphics are amazing, story is ok.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla might be best open-world Ubisoft has ever created, at times truly breathtaking landscapes and mountains. One of the best in the whole series, just behind Black Flag, would recommend!

    Great comeback Ubisoft! Bought it day 1 and it was little rough, but still very playable, not even close to how broken Cyberpunk2077 is. But now after few patches it's basically perfect. Amazing game!

    Story of "AC: Valhalla" is literally better than Odyssey or Origins. You can't even argue about that. Overall i'm very happy that they brought bad all the missing elements, like hood and hidden blade.

    assassin's creed valhalla has very good graphics (one of the best of 2020), solid story, good voice acting and interesting open world. would recommend to anyone who has liked this series previously.

    Mystical and cool open world to just get lost into and explore everything. Really immersive Assassin's Creed game. Haven't felt like this since Black Flag and Unity.

    Brutal combat and parkour (not as good, but good enough) from Unity, exploration from Black Flag and Scale from Origins + bonus a lot of different enemies, locations and lands.

    I really like this game. Odyssey and Origins didn't impress me, okay Origins was fine, but Odyssey has weak story, but Valhalla is better than both of these. So, if you didn't care for Odyssey i would suggest trying Valhalla.

    After putting 110 hours into the game i can safely safely say then AC Valhalla is the best assassin's creed game that I played in not the perfect experience by any means, yes it has its flaws specially the annoying bugs which I hope will be addressed with the passage of time but overall is the best experience.

    The combat is great they perfectly capture the Vikings fighting style and gore animation, the main criticism they answered from the pervious game is the quest design they improved a lot of them, now you can go toward your main story our pursue side mission and gears.

    You don't have to complete the unnecessary side quests to level up the player to take on the main story missions.

    The story is not assassins focused but they are selling you the idea of what is to Viking raider in the 9th century England and I like that part.

    Now they should finish the series with last trilogy of games and explore the assassin's creed in other medium of entertainment.    … Expand

    100+ bloated hours waiting for a payoff that never happens. for being a game about vikings, you don’t do much viking stuff beyond the handful of raids. there’s so much crammed into the game, you only know it’s over when you no longer have any missions. no big finale. no resolution other than the pre-scripted nonsense you saw coming at hour 50. made all the wrong choices, so didn’t get the100+ bloated hours waiting for a payoff that never happens. for being a game about vikings, you don’t do much viking stuff beyond the handful of raids. there’s so much crammed into the game, you only know it’s over when you no longer have any missions. no big finale. no resolution other than the pre-scripted nonsense you saw coming at hour 50. made all the wrong choices, so didn’t get the “good” ending, but after watching videos of the “good” ending, there is nothing there worth suffering though another play through. the only parts of the game close to enjoyable were the boat cat and being able to pet the dogs.     After playing for i encountered multiple bugs that made the game unplayable. Still waiting on ubisoft to release a patch to fix it. Reported the bug over a month ago and I still cannot play the game.

    El juego esta bien si eres una persona casual, si te gusta hacer el 100% del contenido el juego es una basura, no hay ningun tipo de progreso en el personaje y se hace bastante aburrido

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
