    AC Odyssey was far entertaining than this, this was a pretty boring game, look at it this way if you are an adult and you can only play a selected games, just pass on this game rather play Days Gone than this generic boring game

    first off i payed $130 plus tax for this game. Easily the most trash of the Assassins game. the fighting is clunky, no real combat just rely on ur abilities and dodge roll, roll has 2 many iframes. way too easy on anything but hardest mode, then enemies 1 or 2 hit u even with best heavy armor on. only 2 of every weapon type (2 bear daggers, 2 raven dagger. no real variety) ps4 pro Full offirst off i payed $130 plus tax for this game. Some cant beat the game to this day. i beat it 2 times found at least 20 different bugs each time. cant complete all world events. the devs say no newgameplus because it is only worth playing once. dlcs officially pushed back weeks. river raids are not what they said they were going to be. ur npcs on river raid take massive damage on hardest needing u 2 constantly revive them costing rations. most weapons and armor is real cash only or u have to farm weekly missions that are exactly the same to get opals to buy. u get 5 opal a mission armor cost 125. weapons 150. it seems like they are trying to make where only stuff u buy is worth while and impossible to collect all unless you play every day for 2 years. the story is great but everything else feels like an xbox 360 game. i will never buy an assassins creed game again before release.… Expand

    Without a doubt the worst and most offensive game in the series. First and foremost, the main story has a glitch in several spots that prevents you from finishing it. I've been waiting since almost day 1 and I still haven't been able to complete it. The quests, especially the world activities, don't give you any markers or anything in Eagle Vision to know where you are going. As a male Eivor, I counted only 1 female romance option and lost track around 7 homosexual characters - not very inclusive. The scenery, while probably accurate, is the most dull choice they could've made. It is almost nothing but swamp and field, which is difficult for a climbing-based game. Also, several side quests can't be completed because the game refuses to acknowledge anonymity status after eliminating everyone. Gameplay was fair, but the antagonist was predictable. If they fixed the story and quests, then maybe I'd bump the rating up to a 1. Or if they actually listen to customer submitted glitch reports before releasing unwanted DLC expansions. Not that they probably care. And by the way, this is from multiple gamers, not just me.… Expand

    glitchy glitchy mess...constant crashes....horrendous mini games, especially the songs, non loveable characters. Vast open space with nothing in it not even music felt empty.
    nature was lovely but not enough

    Undoubtedly assassins creed Valhalla is one of the worst versions of the series, this game can not be called assassin creed at all, and I really can not believe Ubisoft has given us such a thing

    Horrendous game from start to finish, just an excuse to get rich off of poor men and women with their unashamed use of micro transactions.

    Two big open worlds full of secrets and treasures, amazing. Nice graphics. Game story solid with interesting plot. Performance could be better, needs patching. Definitely an upgrade from Odyssey, they did a lot of job in characters. Skill tree is a knock out, although bit chaotic. Love getting lost in there.

    I don't know how this game has such high reviews, I've it on ps4 and it looks like absolute trash, the entire game is blurry, the trees look like ps1 trees, the game is plastered in de-immersive light lines for some reason… the missions are boring, the story is boring how in the **** did they go from the master piece of odyssey to this onscreen vomit, ubisoft deserves its place in historyI don't know how this game has such high reviews, I've it on ps4 and it looks like absolute trash, the entire game is blurry, the trees look like ps1 trees, the game is plastered in de-immersive light lines for some reason… the missions are boring, the story is boring how in the **** did they go from the master piece of odyssey to this onscreen vomit, ubisoft deserves its place in history alongside scum like EA, next to EA ubisoft is the second worst game developer on the planet.     So many bugs even two years later unfixed. Randomly appearing next to the raven and dropping to your death, unable to complete storyline quests and the best part, the customer service is trash. Save your money. Storyline would be great if I could actually play it

    You'll probably buy the game based on these reviews but understand that the ps4 ver doesn’t hold a candle to odyssey, it’s a stripped down asset flip, when you have bought the game and have reached England go to the top of anything tall and take a look at the trees … spoiler … now you can’t un-see the ps1 mesh and perspective trick they used, ruined the game for me and now you too

    Technically it's a blast, yet it's the one i played the least in the series. Microtransactions are a big NO for me. They started those slowly, in Odyssey it was still farmable, but no more. U have a store full of op and nice looking stuff on top of paying the game and the dlc. If i want to play like a boomer i play mmos for free with much more content.     The game is **** The sound in the game is so disgusting that my ears can not stand this bucket. Donate in single player? Seriously? I downloaded this game from a torrent and immediately deleted it. This is simply impossible to play! 0 / 10 .

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
