    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's just the same ol' reskinned and rehashed none Assassin's creed game since Origins. Ubisoft is saving money by making an updated version from previous two games. Sure it's a different setting but with the same boring animations and combatplay. Side missions are repetitive, uninteresting and too many as ususal. Main story is meh and gameplay is ok the first 3 hours and then it goes downhill. Trash game… Expand

    Terrible game, mind numbingly boring repetitive gameplay and story, this is far from an AC game just like odyssey, it is a Viking fantasy RPG with a sprinkle of mythology and generous dash of microtransactions. Seems like this game has been the final nail in the coffin regarding Darby's departure from Ubisoft, hopefully he joins a team that will give him freedom to create the story heTerrible game, mind numbingly boring repetitive gameplay and story, this is far from an AC game just like odyssey, it is a Viking fantasy RPG with a sprinkle of mythology and generous dash of microtransactions. Seems like this game has been the final nail in the coffin regarding Darby's departure from Ubisoft, hopefully he joins a team that will give him freedom to create the story he wants to create. It is hard not to see this game as a money grabbing tool that Ubisoft have created with the Helix store, limiting the amount of content (armour sets, weapons) in the base game then adding all other content behind pay walls is disgusting charging £10 - £15 per armour pack for a 'singleplayer' game, I wrote a post on reddit and made a petition regarding this if you want to know more follow the links below I go little further in depth regarding the matter.     The buggiest game that I ever saw. 10 Days passed and still no patch for this game.
    1. Main character sound is incredibly loud (compare to others). If you want to decrease it, go to hell! They don't have such option in settings.

    Assassin Creed Odyssey was an amazing game, I was thinking to support Ubisoft to buy this game from them. I never was sooo wrong. In future even when this game was on 50% discount I will thing twice to buy it.

    P.s. Music in game is not playing (I have 5.1 Surround system) :D

    Only liked by graphics nerds or people who don't understand gaming. The gameplay is VERY boring, it has the same mechanics we have already seen used a thousand times. People who want an actual game will hate it. So many delusional idiots giving it 10/10s smh.

    So buggy... I spent so many hours with this game not because its so exciting but it's full of bugs.. I had to start the game several times new but was still not able to complete the game. I am stuck at about 30% of the game. Terrible and this after all the patches...

    Combat is terrible, legit the worst I've ever seen it and is worse than many of other lesser known games. Little to zero collision and the graphics aren't that great at all

    Эта игра встречает игрока ОТВРАТИТЕЛЬНОЙ работой со звуком. Звуки сжаты, на них наложен какой-то стрёмный фильтр и всё звучит ужасным эхом из бочки. Игру с таким звуком нельзя выпускать в 2020-м году, это позор.

    "Найди, убей, принеси, подай. Иди нахуй, не мешай" - тезис всей игры.

    Сюжет очень затянут и он просто уничтожает тебя. Я чуть с ума не сошёл выполняя все эти однотипные идиотские сюжетные задания, которые никак не влияют на сюжет. Да, всё, что вы сделаете в процессе своего пути, никак вам не аукнется. Эта игра и этот сюжет - это издевательство над игроком.
    "Навыки" в игре это отдельный пример того, что в этой игре всё сделано просто для галочки. В игре суммарно 402 "навыка". Почему в кавычках? Потому что это не навыки, как раньше, например, было, двойное убийство, нет, это просто поделенные на кучу частей бафы к текущей статистике игрока. Где-то плюс к урону топором, где-то плюс к урону луком, это бесполезная система, которая не делает твоего персонажа сильнее или уникальнее, она нужна просто для того чтобы ты качал свой уровень и шёл дальше по сюжету.
    За всю сюжетную линию игроку предлагается 4 романтических опции: 3 из низ с мужчиной. Я играл за мужского персонажа. Это выглядит как навязывание своих специфических ценностей и это за гранью нормы. Вы не имете права никому ничего навязывать. Вы не имете права заступать за личные границы человека.
    У меня ни одна игра не вылетала столько, сколько вылетает это говнище. У меня ни одна игра не выдавала столько тупых багов, сколько выдаёт это говнище. Бывает, что персонаж неудачно спустился, застрял в текстурах и спустя время просто сдох. Вы считаете, что это нормально? Ubisoft, алё?

    Время когда Ubisoft делали хорошие и серьёзные игры уже прошло. Сейчас это компания импотент, которая делает пластмассовые family-friendly игрушки для маленьких деток. В их играх нет серьёзности, нет драмы, нет качества, нет оптимизации, нет прикосновения человеческой руки.     If you have a ps4 pro, let alone a regular one, don't even think about buying this game. Not only was it installed for the first time in such a way that it gave an error at startup, nevertheless, after a complete reinstallation, it started up, so much so that it would be better not to start. Квесты (мировые события) это просто треш какой-то, кто их писал, заказали копирайтеру по доллару за квест походу, это уже какой-то ситком "викинги", одно петросянство.     They said they were going to correct all the issues people had with odyssey, about it just feeling long and grindy. They trick you starting off, but a good 20 hours in and its chasing map markers over a huge map thats sparsely populated for quests that aren't all that interesting (except a handfull).     I loved this at first, but the more I played, the more I just wanted it to be over. The huge power level gap they throw at you at the end also just doesn't feel good. Its great at first, but as you play it the cracks start to show and despite a large world with a lot to do, theres a point where just....none of it feels interesting or engaging.     I`m really hooked. I think it`s a really great game but the only thing that should improve is the optimization, sometimes FPS fall to the ground and sometimes they reach a really high level. Anyway, good job!

    Очень много багов. Игра очень сырая. Не знаю как на консолях но на пк очень много проблем. Начиная от проваливающегося героя под текстуры и заканчивая лагами на топовом железе.

    Now my thoughts out of the way, do not buy this game I am being serious, this game is a huge waste of money and time, the sad thing is that really wanted this game to be good, I remember the first showcase in June and I was scared of how **** it looked, but I was like " Nah it will be fine they will fix it", Boy was I wrong, this game is a buggy mess with freeze frames, screen tearing, absolutely stupid A.I. and other tons of **** you at this point they should just stop making games, in general, this game was one of the worst games of this year, no this decade. if you like this game that is good for you and I am actually happy that you found a game in this **** of trash.
    I really want this game to fail and fail badly so Ubisoft will learn a **** lesson from the Ghost of Tsushima, and learn how to make a game that isn't complete **** like the time span from 2005-2013    … Expand

    I would love to say: "It´s a good game and I can`t stop plpaying!", but since I can`t even start the mainquest, because of a bug, which doesn`t alloughs to speak to NPC`s and after a restart my savegames are corrupted, I would say it`s pretty bad progmmed. They should have waited a few more weeks.

    Because of the Asia version of "Valhalla" is to ban some "uncomfortable" screens which is the most reason we want to play the game...... So I plan to buy this game through my Australia PSN account. But after confirmed with UBI, it's only Asia version we can play in PS4. So I need to    I also the player from Taiwan.. and impacted by CERO's policy.... or it should called UBI's policy....

    Blindly apply CERO policy destroys the gaming experience of all the Asia players. People in many Asian countries are broad-minded with violence performance.     Couldn't pass the "A seer's solace" mission 'cause of a bug so I restarted the game (I' ve lost 5hrs of the first save).
    Now I am 10hrs in and the game doesn't save anymore! It's all corrupted data saves. Horrible.

    I was really looking forward to playing this game, but due to a bug on an early quest called " A seers solace" you are unable to progress at all. The only solution is to delete the game and start over without updating the latest patch. That is hard to do when you already have 6 or so hours into the game doing side missions and other content.     After patch 1.02 the story quest "A Seer’s Solace" is unplayable blocking you from progressing in the game. First reports are a week old and there still is no fix. A perfect example of incompetent support end development.

    A farcry of it's former game. Left in the shadows by how top tier Oddessy was. They took out the fluff that artificially expanded Oddessy (mercenary general missions, etc) but ruined the combat system. It's so bad versus Oddessy where you could have a glass tank hero by endgame. They also removed kill animations for the most part and replaced them with a single kill animation per enemyA farcry of it's former game. Left in the shadows by how top tier Oddessy was. La visión de Asesino (Vision de Odin como lo llaman ahora), no dura prácticamente nada activa, solo aparece y se desvanece sin siquiera darte la oportunidad de ver tu entorno, la vista desde el Cuervo (ave) a penas logra notar a los objetivos en el suelo, es mejor ni usarla (Una pena compararla con la del Aguila en AC Origins).

    Literalmente la peor Asssassins Creed de toda la saga, ni siquiera Unity fue tan mala. Básicamente quisieron tomar lo mejor de todas las Ac pasadas y ponerlo en una sola, (Barcos, Vision de Aguila, Vision de asesino, mecánicas de pelea de Ac Odysea y Origins, Usar la Hermandad como en Brotherhood) pero se siente como que no se detuvieron a completar nada, solo pusieron un monton de cosas incompletas en el juego.

    Buggy game. I think it's the first time in PS4 that i have to remove a games because of bugs. The worst thing it's the saved games which 99% will not be loaded and you will have 10.000 different glitches. One day just to load it took me like half an hour only to lose 10 mnts later and then i was just frustrated. By far the worst experience i have ever had with AC games. Not recommended at all.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times.
