    This game has so much more content than spider-man miles morales and is way better than demon's souls remake (yes i tried them all, demon's souls remake is awful by the way and spider-man miles morales is way too short). If i could recommend one game from november 2020, it would be Assassin's Creed Valhalla, maybe Black Ops too, but that's it really.

    I thought they don't make good games anymore?? Apparently i was wrong, this game made me speechless when i first booted it up. Voice acting, story, open world, graphics, different cities and hidden locations. This game might have best looking water i have seen in any video game ever, because it's kinda my hobby to compare different game's water effects and this one is just absolute top tier.

    Finally video game that isn't over in 5-6 hours, thank god! And it's not some endless filler, but it's most of them time actually interesting and world is really interesting to explore, specially with those amazing graphics.

Now, because it's huge open world game, yeah it has still some bugs, to me most of the stuff was fixed with 1.0.4 patch, but i heard that endgame content needs so serious work/patches. I don't know or care (at the moment) about that part. I don't wanna rush to finish game, i will very likely finish it like marchOverall impressions?     Atmosphere, graphics on both Norway and England, very cool combat, better story than last two games, one of the best voice actors for main character, it's just well done game.

    Assassin's Creed is not something you can quickly finish and move on to next "cool game". This game series focuses on exploration, stealth and really just enjoying the environments.
    Of course it also has brutal combat and all that cool stuff, but what i'm trying to say is that it's not your average 5-10 hour game. If you don't wanna actually enjoy it and take your time, there's no point    Assassin's Creed is not something you can quickly finish and move on to next "cool game".     Me parece bien que Ubisoft la haya cagado en muchos aspectos y se le juzgue por ellos. Pero no creo que siempre merezca la misma toxicidad. He jugado el juego y luce genial, me cansa ver como gente postea sin llevar ni un día jugando.     Highly recommending this one, if you have ever even slightly liked AC games. Hidden blade is back, you can remove your hood at any moment or wear it if you want. Both England and Norway looks incredible. There's so many places to climb and parkour. Graphics are also 10/10.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is hugely enjoyable with super-satisfying combat and exploration. Medieval England is gorgeous and a joy to explore.

    I have played over 29 hours and after patch 1.0.4 i have hardly met any bugs and none were game-breaking. People should download their patches and stop lying. Game is very good!

    Like i totally get it when someone is burned out of Odyssey and is not interested playing another 100 hour epic, but here' the thing, this one is so much better than Odyssey ever was. But in the end it's obviously up to everyone individually what they want to play. To me, this is my favorite AC setting ever (Norway-England-North sea).     Just chilling around in huge forests in England gives this mystical relaxing vibe and then the music, this games has absolutely amazing soundtrack. Yeah performance could be better, but it's still perfectly playable and runs better than RDR2 did on PC for 2 months. Overall it's very good.

    This is good, i mean it. But Far Cry 6 needs to be something completely new, they can't make another Far Cry 5, NO, because we already have that game. It has to stand out, it has to be different, if it isn't, delay it already! And next wave of Ubisoft games needs to have complete re-invention in 2022-2023. Stuff like Prince of Persia remake with weak animations needs to be gone, forever.This is good, i mean it.     I believe in you Ubisoft, because i have really liked some of your games (AC 4 Black Flag, AC Unity (after patches obviously), Far Cry 3 and even some Ghost Recon Games, even Watch Dogs 1 was good, even tho it wasn't perfect. I would hate to see you go down like this. What you did in 2019 is unforgivable, but every company messes up at times, In fact all your games have better writing than Fallout 4 or Fallout 76, not that it's good comparison, but just saying. But you need to take Rockstar as your inspiration and i feel, in a way you already do. That's good! Just focus on quality, fix more bugs before release and just do good games. That's all it takes.     im about ten hours in and the game is great so far, yes there was a few bugs but they are gone now with the patch. People who are saying it is a reskin or copy paste is lying to themselves and everyone else, and clearly did not play the game. ubisoft put in the work and it is not a reskin by any means. the world is beautiful and the story is intriguing. and i for one love the brutal combat.

    Absolutely amazing game that has huge interesting open world, tons of secrets / locations to discover, epic story, good combat, interesting characters. One of the best of 2020. I just love to get lost in that game world, explore not only England, but also Norway. Soundtrack/ambient music in this game one of the most relaxing stuff i have heard in a while.

    Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

    If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

    Basically, it's a good Assassins Creed RPG, though very light on the Assassin part. Not Ezio saga good, but so far it has given me a better experience than Odyssey overall. Particularly in the worldbuilding, the 'World Events' Read: Quests, but they're just interactions with various odd locals, ranging from helping someone deliver a crate of apples, to stealing clothes at a nudist party.Basically, it's a good Assassins Creed RPG, though very light on the Assassin part. Not Ezio saga good, but so far it has given me a better experience than Odyssey overall. Particularly in the worldbuilding, the 'World Events' Read: Quests, but they're just interactions with various odd locals, ranging from helping someone deliver a crate of apples, to stealing clothes at a nudist party. They're misc. quests, but they're handled very well here.

    Meanwhile the story also offers a different experience from previous games; Where before, you're either the main Assassin, in this one, you're their ally. Offering them shelter, helping them rebuild, but (at least for the time being) solidly from the outside looking in. Which feels fresh.

    Aside from the small bugs we all know will probably stay, what really bothers me in this iteration is the sound levels. Sound effects and the Protagonists' voice seem to be on a very different setting from other characters voices, forcing you in some situations to either have a hard time hearing the NPC's, or get deafened by your own character.

    Combat also feels a bit slower, and difficulty settings in combat once again only serve to make your enemies damage spunges while turning you into a wet blanket, but even so it feels right to play it at the highest difficulty. Enemies take several hits to take down, and you can similarly take about as many hits as the average mook/low-class enemy from enemies at your level. I imagine lower difficulties would be shockingly easy though, and just adjusting damage and health numbers remains a sloppy way to balance in my opinion.

    What also grinds my gear is that platforming and the like seems to have been reduced to a matter of two buttons; Hold A (xbox) to free run, press B to drop. I miss the days of AC: Unity, where you actually had significant freedom of movement, and where parkour took skill to truly master.

    In summation: The world itself and the story so far, have been interesting, fresh iterations on the standard Assassins Creed formula. Modern day story also seems quite interesting for what little there has been so far. (~10 hours of play, 1 Modern Day part.) Two points taken away due to:
    1) Bugs
    2) Sound balancing
    3) The horrifically oversimplified movement.    … Expand

    The music is beautiful, there's no denying that. However, the sound needs some polishing. Maybe it's just glitches here and there, but the sound acts weird, almost as if it comes from a tin can. Voice acting/dialogue 9/10
    As a Dane, I absolutely love the fact that they've used Scandinavian actors to voice most of the Viking characters. A Viking with an American accent would've just been strange. The voice actings is great overall, althought a few of the voice actors sound like they're reading the script, rather than performing. The dialogue is a bit cringy at times, but overall it's great. Story 9/10
    Not much to say on this. Although it doesn't stick to the "true Vikings" as it would've been way, way too dark, the story is very enjoyable. So why did I give the game overall a 10/10? Because I picked it up three days ago, and already have over 24 hours on it. And I'm not even halway through the story. It's the first AC game I thouroughly enjoy since Black Flag. Get it, play it, and enjoy it.    … Expand

    Ubisoft is one of the most important gaming companies ever. That's absolute fact and absolutely nothing will change that. They release multiple games every single year, every year. Obviously not everything hits the mark, but at least they are constantly doing stuff. There has to be some company that makes AAA games while these other companies makes two games in 10 years. How is it so hard to understand? Without Ubisoft there would be basically nothing, but endless multiplayer games and "Marvel's Avenger's" type of trash. That's not the world i wanna live in. I wanna live in world full of tons of different games each year. Of course there's also this bunch on sonyfanboys (again not talking about people who own playstation, talking about fanboys, i own playstation as well) that act like only games worth playing are console exclusives, that let's be honest are usually story simulators full of endless cutscenes, these are more movies than games, i personally want actual games ya know (and yes there are also good ones like Bloodborne.)
    Everyone acts like life lasts forever and it's cool to endlessly whine about some companies while waiting 10 years for a game from another company. All we have is 100 years (usually way less) and then it's over. Forever. So instead of constant whining, either enjoy the game or just don't play it, if you don't like it.     well i've played AC Valhalla for almost 10hrs now , and i can certainly tell that valhalla is the best AC game since AC Brotherhood in my opinion, and yes there is some technical issues like bugs and glitches, but i think the story and gameplay covered that issues so well. and those problems can be solve with few updates. but after all Valhalla is what AC fans deserve after all these years.

    It's really good game, if you actually wanna enjoy it, not rush it, so you could play next big game faster. Assassin's Creed games are meant to be played for months NOT few days. I bet penguinz gives it 4.5, because not enough action and too much sailing.

    So far I've found the game to be quite fun, the story has been nothing short of awesome. The world is beautiful and vast. The combat is a little boring but with the stealth mechanics and raiding it's totally tolerable and hasn't got boring so far. Definitely worth the money if you're in the mood for a bit of escapism lol

    I used to hate the AC series for how linear and boxed in it used to feel. This all changed for me with Origins. I know that this is a dichotomous point for the fan base but I have loved the direction that AC has been going since then. I loved Origins, I thought Odyssey was even better and finally that brings us to Valhalla. This is the AC game I have wanted for a long time.     I have given this an 8 as there are a couple of areas that lack polish. The animation bugs are fairly inexcusable from a major studio and the HDR implementation leaves a little to be desired compared to Origins and Odyssey.

    I would highly recommend this game if you enjoyed Origins and Odyssey, like me. If, however, you did not enjoy those titles, I would give this one a skip.    … Expand

    I want give it 8.9. The game beyond my expectation. The fight is a little improved, the way telling store is obviously better than previous two, the Origins and Odyssey. Although, there are lots of bugs, I do enjoy this game.

There's also different hidden cave entrances on Norway you can go inside and explore. It's huge game with so much stuff to do and you can choose to do whatever you feel like.     To anyone who is new to Assassin's Creed series : There's 100s of hours gameplay footage of this game on youtube. Watch it before you buy it! If it doesn't interest you, nobody is forcing you to buy it. It's great game but clearly not for everyone. I refuse to believe that someone who watched trailers, watched gameplay, bought it and then gives it 0 or 1. It doesn't even make sense.

    Beautiful game, one of the best of the series. Graphics looks good on ps4, gameplay is smooth and well written story and quests.

    Ubisoft have done it ahain, the story, the location the history, the people all brought together for the perfect game.
    Anything less than a 100 or a 10, is not worth reading. Have played it on both ps4/5 and it's well worth the money.

    It's so cool to see Ubisoft making comeback with hit game like this. This actually might be one of the best AC games ever made, i'm serious. Way better than Odyssey.

    Epic open world game full of magic and wonder, secrets and mysteries. In what other game can you go back in time to 800s Norway and England? That's right, there's none. This game is just blowing me away no matter what direction i go or what i do and it's actually well written, main character's voice acting is amazing. Graphically stunning. Highly recommending.

    Stunning snowy mountains in Norway and beautiful landscapes in England, old castles and tower to climb, many different enemies to fight against, nice characters and story. Would recommend.

    Runs perfectly fine on my system, could use some patches, but still. Whoever gives this game score under 7, i don't even take them seriously as gamers. These are just sad angry people who don't know how to enjoy good things. They like to whine about everything and anything. This game is strong candidate for "The Game Awards" nomination. Best game of November 2020.

    While it could have used some debugging this game has actually made me feel happier than I have felt since lockdown started. My deepest thanks to the programers and game designers. 2020 has been a pretty bad year but I'm finding that I'm actually having fun playing assassin's creed valhalla

    Amazing graphics, many things to do and a great story. It improved some things from the past games and also introduced some new stuff. Maybe the enemies look numb sometimes, but something it can be fixed with some upcoming patch. Highly recommeded!!

    I am enjoying it very much. Could have been more polished though. I personally did not encounter any game breaking bugs and had one hard crash in my 15 hours so far.

    I would rather play this epic than remake of 10 years old game, but each their own i guess.
    PS: I'm not hating demon's souls remake, i just like original way more and i don't think this remake is that special as they make it out to be. Literally same game with 60fps and they praise it like it's better than RE2remake, makes no sense.

You mentioned how interesting pyramids were in Origins, well of course. But here the thing, they were one of the few interesting things about Origins. Most of it was boring empty desert. I don't hate Origins, but it wasn't as interesting as Valhalla. Valhalla has way better story, better character and better open world. You said that England doesn't have landmarks or places to explore. Kidding me? London? Stonehenge? Huge castles? Mountains in Norway? There's so much to explore. Valhalla is easily one of the better designed maps Ubisoft has ever done, just behind Black Flag. There you go. You said that you laugh at people who think Origins is meh, well i laugh at you saying that Valhalla is garbage. There's clearly, very clearly more people who like Valhalla than Origins. Valhalla was biggest PC launch for Ubisoft EVER. It had over 2 million players in launch month alone. Jor Raptor gets 100 000s views on almost every Valhalla video he makes. People very clearly like this game and many have said that they absolutely love Valhalla map designs. Showing your "poll" as some evidence is BS, because most people answered that they haven't even played this game, but you said that people agree with you. Hell no. Thankfully you don't get that many views, so i don't really care that much, but this one video made me write this, because it was just too much nonsense. If you can have your BS opinion, then i have every right to have my opinion about your video and point out false things. I have been Assassin's Creed supporter and fan over 10 years and i very likely like games that you don't even like, because you seem like somebody who hops on hype trains. You know very well that people who whine about new games are just nostalgia nerds who hate every game after AC 3. I have always liked Unity and even Syndicate and i strongly doubt you like them.     side quests are now called world event which it took an average time of 5-10 mint to finish and it's not a waste of time the Game grant you with an epic loot , resources ,money and some of the world events are super funny

    AC Valhalla focuses on quality over quantity unlike odyssey if you like a weapon on Valhalla you can actually keep it for the whole Game

    - the skills in Valhalla are important you can choose your play style and if you don't like it and you want to change no problem! you can refund all the points and start over and choose another play style . that much said Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a good game that corrects many of the missteps found in Odyssey, offering a number of interesting improvements to the series formula

    there is still some very very few bugs but it won't distract you from the experience especially after the DAy 1 patch the Game looks more beautiful than ever    … Expand

    This AC game has got it all: world, combat, graphics, story and awesome characters.

    It feels like a true AC game and it really is a relief to see.

    Spent 2 hours climbing mountains in Norway and it was maybe best fun i have had in 2020 video game. This game can be extremely relaxing, climbing some huge mountain and just looking at the distance while wind slowly blows. It can also be very brutal, if you want, you can fight so many different enemies and bosses. There's so much to do, so much to explore and it's actually fun. Amazing game.

    There's very clearly war between real Assassin's Creed fans and people who only liked first 2 games and think that now they can dictate what or how this series needs to be. Actual Assassin's Creed fans need to fight back now more than ever. Because this game truly deserves it and needs all the support possible.

Depends on my mood, if i wanna hang out in one area or another. Story (so far) is really good, so, so, so much better than Odyssey. Voice acting is great. Graphics are mind blowing. Voice acting is perfect, music is just amazing, i could literally hours meditate for that main menu theme. Graphically it takes things further than ever. Some locations look just amazing.     Surprisingly good Assassin's Creed game, not only better than Odyssey, but it's just so much better. But it's pretty obvious that tons of people don't understand the appeal of Snowy Norway or Beautiful England and just call it boring. That's a shame, but whatever. To me 5 hours long Spiderman Miles Morales is boring, so to each their own i guess.

    one of best ac, nice to see you assassin again from 2015. really sad for someone who just quickly finish the main story, Ub cancle the side task and put additional stories into the surounding which u missed it.

    The old AC games where crap. I really like the OpenWorld RPG setup. Awesome combat.

    To me personally this top 3 Assassin's Creed game ever made. These two maps alone (England and Norway) have so much content and stuff to explore. And then they add Ireland later?? That's everything i wanted from this game, maybe even more.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
