    Honestly, if you can get past the idea that Akihabara nerds are coming off just a little too rape-y for the average player (and Japanese tentacle monster), the game itself isn’t bad at all.

The combat is simple and the fun comes from finding new gear and upgrading them, if you like games with accessories and new outfits and like rpgs, this is probably a good one to pick up.     Akiba's trip is a truly great game, once you get past the initial shock of defeating enemies by stripping them, the story is well written andAkiba's trip is a truly great game, once you get past the initial shock of defeating enemies by stripping them, the story is well written and allows the player to affect the final outcome, the dialogue is well written but the cut-scenes could be improved. it is a game that i started with low expectations but the game with it's love-able characters, great story and witty has put it in my all time top 5 games. the mark of a good game is that you are so immersed in the game that you do not wish it to end and when it does you can't wait for the sequel and in my opinion Akiba's trip fulfils both of those Full Review »
