Sep 24, 2014Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed is an interesting culture shock of a good time if you can see past the silliness, especially if “quirky Japanese games” happen to be your cup of tea.
-
Aug 20, 2014Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is a frustrating game. There is a lot of good here, including an excellent localization and a lot of really enjoyable customization. It goes hand-in-hand with an awful frame rate, frustrating load times, and a central premise that crosses the creepy line too often for its own good.
-
Aug 20, 2014Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed is fun while it lasts. Though it is not for everyone, and though there is much more that could have been done to make the parody theme stronger, if you are willing to check your brain at the door, there is a good time to be had here.

Oct 4, 2014We loved the weird idea behind the game, but the gameplay doesn't go deep enough to match the original concept. Still, if you like what it has to offer, it does deliver.
-
Oct 20, 2014Akiba's Trip Undead & Undressed is a product designed for a specific niche of gamer. Unfortunately, the lack of a good technical realization and the bad combat system prevent this title to be appreciated by a wider audience.
-
Oct 20, 2014It is weird and refreshing, it offers a lot of things to collect and a lot of possibilities in adjusting your characters. The fighting system is not very good, and Akiba's Trip is a long one as you get a load screen every five seconds.
-
Oct 9, 2014Exotic and unique JRPG that takes place in the popular Akihabara district. A mixed bag of nice gameplay mechanics and technical issues.
-
Oct 10, 2014The concept is interesting, the story is remarkably light-hearted and quirky. But technical issues and control problems make the trip to a accurately remodeled Akihabara a chore.
-
Aug 21, 2014Only recommended for the type of people who devour anything from Japan, regardless of quality.
-
Aug 13, 2014Akiba’s Trip is largely a wasted opportunity. For as much as it tries to honor the Electric Town, the attempt is undermined by severely limiting exploration. It’s amazing that a game about tearing clothes off can be so consistently dull.
-
Aug 12, 2014Though it technically succeeds as a piece of functional software, Akiba’s Trip fails to be fun. Bland combat, unremarkable missions and sidequests (which are mainly fight/fetch requests), and an abundance of hollow cartoon characters in their underwear don’t deliver any thrills.
-
Oct 19, 2014A colourful tribute to an amazing city crossed with some unbelievably bad ideas.
-
Aug 25, 2014The writing and setting can't make up for its core pitfalls. Its mission and combat systems are so tedious that I struggled to find motivation to keep playing. The core idea of Akiba's Trip is more interesting than the game itself and is too mired in boring interactive elements to get off the ground.
-
Aug 12, 2014Everything outside of stripping clothes off of vampires feels safe and doesn’t do enough to build upon the initial idea, which is such a disappointment. It’s like getting a sneak peak at something new and fresh, only to start playing and have a game that is kind of ordinary.
