Although there’s a niche that will no doubt revel in the game’s eccentricity, those who cringe at otaku culture will find very little value here.

The greatest offence here is not sexism but simply tedium at the game’s shallow action, although while the one note joke lasts it is a funny one.

Times are sad when the weakest parts of a game are listed as “everything to do with the main plot and gameplay”. But by chaining the title to “Undead & Undressed”, XSEED have made it *about* the absolute worst parts.

Akiba's Trip offers a cool concept in which the player has to undress people in the streets of Akihabara in order to unmask vampires. A bit kinky, and a funny beat'em all, but the technical aspect is so badly made that it definitely ruins everything the game could have had in terms of appeal.

The combat is simple and the fun comes from finding new gear and upgrading them, if you like games with accessories and new outfits and like rpgs, this is probably a good one to pick up.
