    They REMOVED the original WC3:TFT (you can NOT play W3 via the old client anymore). That was the WC3 client that you could run on your old laptop - it is REMOVED from the existence! The new client of WC3:Reforged is Buggy, Laggy, Crashes, Ugly -- Reforged is 100% SCAM and LIES!

    Juego diferente al mostrado en Blizzcon, downgrade evidente, han quitado cosas que tenía el original. Se han cargado uno de mis juegos favoritos, pero no solo eso sino que el editor de mapas les pertenece, todo el trabajo que hagas allí será por y para ellos de manera gratuita, evitando así casos como el del Dota, y si esto os pareciera poco, están baneando a usuarios que ayudan a otrosJuego diferente al mostrado en Blizzcon, downgrade evidente, han quitado cosas que tenía el original.     **** game, forced update. Also hidden in the End user license agreement is a clause that says Blizzard owns everything you make (mods and whatnot). Very greedy indeed.

    Been playing the campaign, and this game is awesome. I'm aware it had a rocky start, but things are coming together and I'm having a blast and the graphics look great!

    Worse than the original game in all respects (except for unit models). The changes in campaign are negligible, the original version is no longer available and the cutscenes remained the same. But most importantly, Blizzard lied to their fans and ripped them off.

    Well, let's see... You could re-release a worse version of the game with only 1/3rd of the features, while simultaneously shutting down the servers for the original that have served strong for 20 years.

    Great job Blizz. You succeeded.

    the reforged graphics arn't worth 30-40 €.
    Versus 4vs4 random team is horrible to play, about 50% of the games at least 1 player of your or the other team leaves or gets a disconnect.
    and at least 1-2 times a week the ping is 450+ so its unplayable.
    don't buy this game don't support blizzard anymore

    Unlike many, I never really stopped playing WC3, especially custom games. When I saw a reforged version was coming out, I was thrilled! I didn't preorder (thankfully), but had every intention of purchasing upon release. I've played on Macs since 2010, prior to that was on PC.

    Frankly, I was already annoyed at the shift to Metal in the final patches of TFT, as my 2010 top of the line 27"    Unlike many, I never really stopped playing WC3, especially custom games. When I saw a reforged version was coming out, I was thrilled! I didn't preorder (thankfully), but had every intention of purchasing upon release. I've played on Macs since 2010, prior to that was on PC.

    Frankly, I was already annoyed at the shift to Metal in the final patches of TFT, as my 2010 top of the line 27" iMac doesn't support metal. I could use a terminal launch to force openGL, and that worked fine for a bit but was already unnecessary. Then this reforged thing came out, and to my surprise, I had no choice but to adopt it! That immediately killed support on my 27" iMac, so naturally, I switch to my brand new quad core 2020 macbook air. Sure, not a gaming machine, but this is WC3 we're talking about...I played RoC on a 1.6ghz G5 iMac back in 2006 bc I could.

    The game is absolutely unplayable. Even at lowest graphics settings, I can't run at native resolution. I cant change my cursor speed or mouse sensitivity, which just boggles my mind, so the cursor is way too slow, even after adjusting it in the OS. The new custom map EULA is a joke...blizzard now wants ownership of what individuals and enthusiasts have worked hard over the years to keep WC3 a relevant game. The whole thing is just absolutely disgusting. The worst part? I can't even revert back to the normal game! While I could play this game for 10 years on my iMac, now, forever, I can't. That's just mind-blowing to me. Blizzard should have left a great game a great game and worked on WC4. This was not just a letdown, it physically breaks the game that I've enjoyed for the past 17 years. This will go down as the worst launch in history...it has to.

    Anybody who tries to defend this game must take into account that this isn't just a remastered separate release. It breaks the original game for all eternity. Shame on Blizzard, really, are the nicest words to describe my feelings about this. Technically, I can (sometimes) launch the game, so it gets a 1, not a zero.    … Expand

    A complete mess. A complete money grab. In any other industry, this would be considered false advertising and I hope this spells the end for Blizzard. They've been **** on gamers ever since the Activision takeover.

    Le gameplay est vraiment cool, je suis fan de l’univers depuis que l’original est sorti. Sincèrement, l’original est bcp mieux et a plus de contenu que reforged. Je suis complètement déçu du travail fait pour ce remake.

    Bought the game disregarding the review bombs. It has terrible performance, often lagging and dropping to abysmal frame rates. Sound will de-sync during gameplay and sometimes not return for 5 minutes. I expect more out of a remaster of an 18 year old game, especially after the stellar Starcraft Remaster in 2017. Is this a sub 1 rating game? No. But is deserving of scorn. Be better Blizzard.

Lag times are extremely high and the match-making is an abomination.
    Custom games = OUT, Ladders = Out, Lan Play = OUT the list goes on. Bugs, Server Issues, broken promises makes this a disaster of a game offering you disappointment = ALL IN.

    Blizzard only Managed to make a perfect game that I and many loved into something that is unplayable which many people such as myself now stay clear of. Whenever they make updates/fixes the bugs they say have been patched still remain buggy and game remains unplayable. Absolutely disgusting

    Although the game did not release as promised in blizzcon, but i still quite enjoy it so far with the decent graphic and animation. The menu is not as intuitive though, but I personally think it deserves higher score than 0.6. Also I like the new unit voice, which sounds very mythical and mysterious

    I believe people were paid to break, not make this game. If so, what an investment this is. It is so poorly executed it managed to break the previous, already stable Warcraft, for Christ's sake!

    This is, in and of itself, disrespectful to the entire gaming industry. I'd have liked it more if you guys just released a ga-cha game like Raid Shadow Legends - as greedy and time-unworthy as those games are, they're more transparent. 99% of the fans you've LOST would've stayed in their lanes making this faded company bigger if that was your strategy.    … Expand

Stepping back into Warcraft III's campaign with a fresh coat of paint has been a nostalgic joy for me. The new character models are incredibly detailed and beautiful. It's a delight to zoom in really far and check out all the new little details. The mission design, storytelling, are characters are still incredible, even 20 years later. I'm the odd gamer who has never really cared about online multiplayer at all. I care about storytelling and the single player campaign, and because of this, Warcraft III is one of my favorite games of all time. IMO, the incredible single-player campaign is worth the price of admission alone.

    It's definitely not perfect: menus aren't really well optimized for ultrawide monitors, there are STILL occasional bugs, and it is disappointing that the in-game cutscenes aren't what were initially promised in 2018. I empathize with folks who really cared about the multiplayer community and were disappointed by what was removed. I really do hope Blizzard continues to make progress towards correcting their mistakes with more updates to Warcraft III: Reforged. But for me, a person who probably won't ever touch multiplayer, the new visuals and support for high-resolution monitors are reason enough for me to hand over the $30. I'm having a great time experiencing the campaign again.

    At the end of the day, if multiplayer is the main draw for you, you probably won't be pleased. If, however, you're mainly interested in the single-player campaign, Reforged is well worth your time (especially if you've never played it before).    … Expand

You were not the Blizzard that we grew up with and you lied to everyone that you will give us everything to reimagine this game but it wasn't instead you gave us nothing but buggy and unfinished game.

Not only did they ruin the remake they also made it impossible for people to play the original, even though the update they force on players does not improve anything.     I used to love blizzard. SC broodwar is one of my fav games of all time. It's now a mercenary company that makes a money hungry card game, a full price shooter filled with lootboxes, mobile cash grab rpg and now this unfinished crap. Totally out of touch with their fans.

    The game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play. The undead and in many cases the humans are just getting face-rolled by the nightelfs and the orcs. Then the orcs just get face-rolled by the nightelfs... In solo play 2 night elf armies can easily outmatch 3 full orc armies. And they always know where your second base is Moonpriest or not, they easily find it wtf... All in all and with theThe game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play.     Terrible, anti-creative, greedy EULA.
    Old client gone.
    Old battle.net and global custom maps gone. Ability to kick, gone. A lot of maps can't be remade.

    So i bought the game few months after releasing with hope developers fix the game with patches, worst mistake i ever did, i can't believe you can still buy this piece of crap, i will never ever buy a game from this developers.
    Paid 50nzd and it's literally unplayable, lagging even when i play vs bots.

Вот этим энтузиастом пришлось из-за вашей вот халтуры просто бросить, то что они делали. Вот лучше бы те проекты (например Armies of Azeroth) получили шанс реализоваться, чем вот то говно что вы выпустили. 0/10 только потому что могли, но не сделали и подвели абсолютно всех!!!    … Expand

    A massive disappointment that butchered an already established game and its community and forced both new and old to co-exist without first creating a stable platform to work upon. The game crashes much more often than any previous iteration had, and strips away more content than it adds. It's sad when a remaster of a game does more damage to its predecessor than good.

"Но есть же переключение графики" - скажете вы и будете "частично" правы, да переключение есть вот только с ним в этот раз напортачили знатно:
    Если взять ситуацию со Starcraft где сделали "платный ремастер" с возможностью переключения, как на новую, так и на старую графику и где сам он формально является "отдельной игрой", а "классическая" версия также осталась в "не изменённом виде", да и бесплатно стала раздаваться с возможностью вообще "легально" в неё играть, то вот с Warcraft III разработчики решили сделать всё намного "жестче": оригинал просто напросто "насильно затолкали" в ремастер причём в буквальном смысле, теперь сыграть в старый Warcraft III со "старой, русской озвучкой" и с некоторыми фишками мультиплеера у вас просто не получится, точнее "получиться" конечно, но "формально" вы теперь скачиваете "Перековку" в "старом виде", потому что вам теперь нужно 30 ГБ свободного Дискового Пространства, вместо 2 ГБ для игры 2002 ГОДА КАРЛ! причём, возможности сыграть именно в СТАРУЮ версию тупо нет даже бесплатно нельзя её скачать, а те у кого был куплен Warcraft III ещё до его официальной "Перековки", теперь можно смело сказать, что они "выкинули" 998 Руб. (цена покупки обоих дополнений старой версии игры), так как в самой игре теперь делать нечего: в кастомки не сыграешь по нормальному из-за багов, серверные аккаунты со всеми достижениями были потёрты в хлам, как будто в эту игру никто и никогда не играл, а вышла она только сейчас, кастомные кампании теперь также были вырезаны под корень (а ведь я, автор этого отзыва, в детстве начал активно задротить в Warcraft III, именно из-за этой "фичи") да и новые и ни кому не ведомые баги появились в игре 2002 Года не с того ни с сего.

    В общем подводя итог, я скажу что в этом "Ремастере" хорошо получились только две вещи:
    1) Теперь каждые модельки имеют свои "уникальные" текстуры и нет "повторений", которые были в "Классической" версии.
    2) Хорошо узнаваемую и возможно кому-то въевшуюся в память Музыку игры, также обновили и местами она начала звучать по новому.
    Все остальные, новые Вещи появившиеся в "Ремастере" (включая и Графику), это определённо Шаг назад от "Классики".    … Expand

The once brilliant and awe-inspiring game company that everyone loved has long since died, left with a husk of its former self.     The worst part is that blizzard took away original WC3 away!! Reforged takes about 10 times more resources than original WC3 :((
    It looks so bad, so blurry, that I literately cannot recognize units. So this reforged (botched) WC3 game deserves zero points. I bought it originally and had to give it back for refund. So... I would happily contribute to a class action lawsuit against them if I knew how. Can't get a refund, no rights for creators of custom games. Textbook example of corporate greed!

Blizzard killed one of my favorite RTS games on which I spent so many hours for almost 15 years creating custom maps and scenarii for playing with friends. You can't even play the old classic game anymore. Classic Warcraft III players must download more than 20 GB of unnecessary data. Some old features have disappeared: no more clans, no more ladder, no more personalized campaigns, even what was promised on the graphical evolution is a mess. The French voices have been redone ... much less fun and engaging than the original ones.

    I am a big fan of Blizzard RTS games since Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and I bought each game and its respective extension (Warcraft II / III, Starcraft I / II / Remastered). Warcraft III Reforged is closer to a downgrade than an evolution of this legendary RTS game.

    I am 40 years old and it is the first time in my life that I ask for a refund for a game ...... so disappointed and sad to see what has become of Blizzard !!!

    Fan of RTS games, if you want a real remake of a mythical game, you should rather take a look at AOE II: D.E instead of Warcraft III: Reforged .... at least you will not feel cheated

Vous ne pouvez même plus jouer à l'ancien jeu classique. Les joueurs classiques de Warcraft III doivent télécharger plus de 20 Go de données inutiles. Certaines anciennes fonctionnalités ont disparu: plus de clans, plus de ladder, plus de campagnes personnalisées, même ce qui était promis sur l'évolution graphique n'est pas au rendez-vous. Les voix françaises ont été refaites....bien moins drôles et attachantes que les voix originales.

    Je suis un grand fan des jeux Blizzard RTS depuis Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness et j'ai acheté chaque jeu et son extension (Warcraft II / III, Starcraft I / II / Remastered). Warcraft III Reforged est plus proche d'une dégradation que d'une évolution de ce jeu mythique.

    J'ai 40 ans et c'est la première fois de ma vie que je demande un remboursement pour un jeu ...... tellement déçu et triste de voir ce qu'est devenu Blizzard !!!

    I was lucky to get this item refunded, but they won't refund it to anything except my debit card that is no longer active. Still better than having blizzard have my money for this horrible cash crab. Do not buy this game, it's an insult to the original and the quality that was put into it.

    Reforged proves once again that Blizzard is no longer the same company that brought us the original Warcraft trilogy, Starcraft and Diablo I and II.

    Was hoping to play all my favorite custom maps again and see what new maps would appear, but it seems activision-blizzard managed to **** up their servers and write the most outrageous eula to custom mapping that no one is going to bother to put any effort into creating new fun custom maps.

    Dont buy this pile of crap.

    i have heard a lot of trash talk about Warcraft 3 reforged so i thought i just wouldn't get it and play the old one. but i cant. its not as bad as i had heard but there are a lot of bugs and at this point the game wont even open for me. i haven't even tried multiplayer and i heard that that's where it gets really sh**.
    so my recommendation is do not buy it because i cant even play it.

A while back I started to play Starcraft 2 and now that I heard that new Reforge is coming up, I was stoked cause I remembered how many custom maps and pvp features you had, and finally I would play Dota 1 again, but with better graphics. This goes to all AAA publishers, you all suck a massive knob for releasing a pre-order game unfinished and for a full price, and to all the gamers, stay strong and stop, PLEASE STOP pre ordering games, publishers like this are using you and your cash. This game will be dead and out-of-support in no time.… Expand

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
