    I've created metacritic account just so I can give this pile of **** 0 score.
    This is absolute betrayal from Blizzard. They have promised a tons of things for this game and all they did is change assets - which was also done by some external company and you can tell.
    I guess the lesson from this game is: Never pre-order Blizzard game again :)

    Bardzo dobry remaster kultowego już "Warcrafta 3" z dodatkiem "Mroźny Tron". Co prawda nie ma żadnych nowych misji = są tylko te z oryginalnej gry + dodatek ale nadal jest kupa zabawy, Grafika i rozdzielczości obsługiwane przez grę zostały dostosowane do roku 2020 i są naprawdę bardzo ładne. Muzyka jest dokładnie taka sama jak w oryginale. Są problemy z automatycznym odblokowywaniemBardzo dobry remaster kultowego już "Warcrafta 3" z dodatkiem "Mroźny Tron". Co prawda nie ma żadnych nowych misji = są tylko te z oryginalnej gry + dodatek ale nadal jest kupa zabawy, Grafika i rozdzielczości obsługiwane przez grę zostały dostosowane do roku 2020 i są naprawdę bardzo ładne. Muzyka jest dokładnie taka sama jak w oryginale. Są problemy z automatycznym odblokowywaniem osiągnięć i związanymi z tym nagrodami (portrety w grze), ale gra cały czas jest rozwijana i dostaje nowe aktualizacje. Zabawy jest naprawdę cała masa i jeżeli ktoś nie ma nierealnych oczekiwań co do tego tytułu to się nie zawiedzie. Ja ograłem cały tytuł i jestem bardzo zadowolony z tej gry. Na minus można zapisać to, że nie działają w tej grze osiągnięcia - a jak już jakieś zadziała i je zdobędziemy to jest to losowy przypadek. Zasłużone 8/10.… Expand

    after one year the game is still unjoyable, i think it is the worst remake ever done (Age of empire 2 DE, Demon souls PS5 manage to deliver an excellent remake).
    Reign of chaos was one of my favourite game, i played hundred of hours on it, and this one i still manage to not be able to play without FPS drop, lagg and other... (i can play TW W2, RDR 2 quite easily)
    This game is a    after one year the game is still unjoyable, i think it is the worst remake ever done (Age of empire 2 DE, Demon souls PS5 manage to deliver an excellent remake).

    Very disapointed with the final product.

    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing
    - New models and are so so

    If you had warcraft 3 on the launcher, you're screwed. They ruined a 17 year old game. The vanilla was one of the greatest games I'd ever played.

    I am actually sad, because I planned to play this game. Also port the coop campaign (with the new PROMISED map editor) that a few guys did years ago and play that with my friends.

    I registered on the website just so I can down vote this crappy joke of a game. I ended up waiting 1 year for it to be patched to enjoy the campaign (2 player custom coop) just to find out that they played around with the difficulty on the campaign maps and changed significantly the layout on some levels (for example the culling of stratholme).     Biggest deception in my gaming life. This was made by people that don’t care about the original and absolutely did not understand what made the original so good. Even worse, they replaced the original game with reforged. As such they destroyed a 20 year old classic game that was still unmatched in its genre and to which there is no alternative.

    My rating is purely based on the remake and how it removed features from owners of the original game. Reforged is still fun to play warcraft 3 is my favorite game of all time and at the core it is the same. I am just sad that reforged was so poorly excecuted as it would have been fantastic if it could bring the joy of this game to new players

    False advertising at its finest. People should really stop supporting Blizzard, they have lots of reasons to do it, but as long as they can buy their games it's seems to be okay, you just have to pretend they don't do any shady things.

    Can't download custom games, you have to manually download it.
    Some unit portraits are incredibly terrible.
    No cinematics in campaign
    Queing system bugs out and you can't get out of queue, you need to close the game in order to queue again.

    I don't recommend buying this piece of ****

    Its been a year. The game is still crap. Blizzard has managed to resolve *some* of the stability issues, but you can still expect it to crash about once an hour. Custom maps from pre-WC3 Reforged are lost forever, unable to play on the modern client. Bugs still abound the campaign, with triggers not working right and fights breaking all over the place. Игру ещё полировать и полировать: баги, спрайты, краши, анимации, эффекты.

    Warcraft III is my favourite game of all time.
    I have been playing custom maps pretty much since it first released.
    Although I don`t understand the reason for redoing the voice acting, and I quite liked the original voices, I`m sure I`ll get used to it. Maybe they could include the old voice acting as an option, that would be great. And I`m not an expert but maybe the engine could use    Warcraft III is my favourite game of all time.

    It's pretty bad. It shows how much effort they put into the game. The gameplay is really boring. The storytelling is lazy, what did I pay for? On top of this you can't play the old and beloved warcraft because they swapped it for this crap.

    Blizzard is dead for me :) You won't get a single penny off me.

I couldn't believe my eyes. It's just MENU! Somehow I managed to run a simple scenario. Literally everything was worse than in the original version. Okay, I decided to switch to the original version, but... it'sI like Warcraft 3 so much, and I pre-ordered this "Reforged" version once it was available.     I honestly don't know what people who gave it 0 expect from a Reforged. Bought it some time ago, played it now and it's amazingly well crafted.
    Sound is great, graphics a bit too saturated but you can tone it down and the gameplay and mood of the game stay exactly as they were - perfect.
    I'd recommend Reforged to anyone anytime!

The units are really remaked from 0, some are fine some are ugly, in my opinion, but still different feeling from the previousAltought Blizzard didn't respect the expectations on this game, like filling it when the complete lore of the Warcraft universe ('till WC The Frozen Throne ofc), and some minor bugs that were settled up after some months with some patches, the game is enjoyable. The resulting product is a disappointing, hastily glued together mess of rehashed, visually inconsistent assets shoehorned into an aging engine with minimal upgrades.

    WC3 Reforged lacks many of the original WC3's features. While the devs have promised to fix some of these issues in future patches, some questions still remain unanswered, especially ones related to custom games. It's clear Blizzard doesn't want another multi-milllion genre (hi, Dota/LoL) escape from its grasp, but the way they chose to keep everything under their control is very ungraceful and restrictive towards the fans. Especially if we compare their approach to a company like Valve (offer actual job positions to the best modmakers and allow them to create and nurture some of the world's most recognizable and profitable IPs).

    This used to be an 8/10 review - being a Blizzard loyalist, I still had some positive outlook about the game. I hoped the developers would be able to fix the game's gaping problems, and perhaps even start adding the content that was supposed to be in the game before. Alas, that didn't happen. Turning off the "shill mode" and looking at the game on its own merit, WC3 Reforged deserves nothing more than 3/10 - perhaps 4/10, if you're generous.    … Expand

Well, I should say this remaster or remake whatever you wanna call it, was absolute trash in terms of art direction, sound, technical issues, gameplay features, and so forth.     I would normally be very hesitant to score anything, EVER as a zero. Even the worst examples of any media be it movies, music, literature, videogames must have SOME redeeming value. This is an exception. Not only is it a poor, falsely advertised product on it's own merit, it existing also completely erases the original Warcraft III, and that game is no longer available for purchase, and no longer available to play online.

    Truly shameful. Blizzard has fallen very VERY far indeed. An abject failure of hitherto unseen scale as far as Triple-A gaming is concerned.    … Expand

    Not the Blizz I grew up with. Overpriced, underdelivered. As it is now its just a glorified skinpack, shilled out for 30-40 bucks to every blue-eyed guy out there not realising what this once stalwart company that stood for quality has become.

    They somehow managed to ruin a game that's nearly 20 years old. I spent hundreds of hours in the original when I was a kid, I loved it! I was so excited! Then... they had to go and cut OUT all of the good features I loved, I mean... NO LAN MATCHES?? WHY? They even made the admittedly dated cutscenes somehow WORSE!

    Fallout 76 is better made than this,, game." A huge number of bugs, old animations, textures are worse than before, but the saddest thing is the lack of new gameplay. All you pay for is slightly degraded graphics (except for characters) and bugs.

    Warcraft 3 was the best game for me! I loved Blizzard and dreamed to work for them and create nice games like Diablo or Warcraft. Now... i Hate Activision Blizzard. I am so disappointed and sad... What have u done to us!

    I myself don't feel like reforged deserves the money but, nonetheless, it really is good. Models are great. Unique npcs have unique models. Everything is retextured/remodelled. Cut-scenes... You guys want James Cameron -level drama and explosions or what? Those cut-scenes were and are **** outstanding now.

    Menu lag? I see menu for like 15 seconds a day.

    P.S. I don't care what they promised you and I didn't read/watch their promotions. I bought a remaster, I enjoy it.

    UPD: Many people are telling about performance issues, fps drops, glitches, bugs, crashes etc. Probably are trolls or trying to run it on Pentium II. i5 9th gen + 2060 + 16ddr4 = 60 fps constant, **no issues at all** after 3 days of playing it.    … Expand

    But I personally would add that I expected the game to be made with core engine of StarCraft 2 (ofc as a standalone game), which is fully adapted to wc3 universe (without a single mention of sc2), and besides new skins it should have:
    - Modern Nav-Mesh, so units can find their way quicker (like in sc2)
    - Ability to select more than 12 units (like in sc2)
    - More various options, similar to sc2 (hotkeys should be edited by editing a file srsly????)
    - Less bugs in overall, maintaining the quality of content that old Blizzard had

    Instead, we got the game which is almost completely untouched internally, that's not a reforge. That's reskin. And, honestly, though skins look pretty badass independently, in the game they turn into a complete mess because of over-detalization, and bad silhouettes of new icons. Since skins were outsorced to some other company, with no help of Blizzard designers, we've got what we've got: a complete mess on the screen. So even the skins are not designed for the game: they made it look cool independently, not to fit in the game.

    I preorderd it and I´m totally satisfied with it. I think it looks amazing and I love to play the Story I´ve played so many years ago. The Models look stunning and much better than all other remakes I´ve played and looks are everything that counts te me when it comes to a Remake. I dont want anything to be changed or new Features to be added, so i can´t relate to all the negative Critics.I preorderd it and I´m totally satisfied with it. I think it looks amazing and I love to play the Story I´ve played so many years ago.     It has been almost a year. No LADDER YET. Not to mention PROFILES, and slew of other problems, like the Webui Chromeapp main menu that runs at 3fps on some computers while in game runs 300fps. I held off writing a review. 10+ months is plenty to deliver the features promised at launch. So sad... favorite game of all time. What a reality we are in...

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
