    Disappointing, waited 14 years for this and they gutted it. Then they outsourced it. Then they took away the original game. Then they blame the gamers for not enjoying it. Then I stopped buying blizzard games.

    I'm so disappointment, that I have created this account.
    As we all know, this game is awful, but Blizzard removed classic Warcraft 3 too. I can't download classic who I bought a long time ago on battle.net. Game from cd plays, but I can't use battle.net anymore.

    Product released was not as advertised. How far blizzard has fallen. Used to release it when it's done, now release it late and not done and hope they can avoid refunding your money. Can't see spending any more money with this company, certainly not any pre-orders.

    The "improvements" barely work, the graphical errors are more common than never, I don't think I've played more than two hours without crashes, the multiplayer has a lot of troubles and half the time it's not even playable; buggy, glitchy and disappointing overall... Still waiting my refund.

    Very disappointed with the final product. Game doesn’t even come close to what they promised on blizzcon 2018, they promised almost a new game, with tons of added cinematics and fully upgraded graphics but actually it’s just a bunch revamped character models, I barely see any difference between old 2002 and the new reforged terrain.

    I don't own the Reforged edition of this game, but I do own the original version of it. My score is based solely on Blizzard changing my original game, and integrating the Reforged version into it. There was no need to alter the original game like this! If the Reforged version is a re-imagining of the original game, then let it stand as it's own title on it's own merits.     Thanks for nothing Blizz, this game was a easy layup and somehow you botched it. I'm guessing that the lack of additional monetization meant you foisted this off onto some no name studio for a quick buck to make investors happy.

    It's really unbelievable, I've not only get piece of garbage instead of normal remastered game, but I've also lost any access to play in old one. It's disgusting.

    Also feel bad for modders, because now everything that they make belongs to Blizzard and it's unfair

    You have to be a really greedy company to **** up your way through remastering a game this badly.
    Warcraft is such a classic with a timeless formula, the fact that Blizzard wouldn't put the money and the manpower to make this happen just shows how much it cares for it's costumers.
    People asked for a WC3 remastered, if you are not willing to invest in it to make it good just don't make it at all.

    False advertisement, over 30£ for an unfinished game. The only way to stop this kind of practice is to not buy their faulty products.
    I played Blizzard games for over 10 years but lost any hope in Blizzard a long time ago. Blizzard is gone, all that is left is the name thanks to Activision. Let's hope they go broke and be replaced by new gaming companies more considerate to their fanbase.

    This game is subject to false advertisement in regards to what it originally promised and horrible business practice in their Custom Game modes. It also messed with the Original game which was otherwise one of the great classics.     Had to make an account just for this review. The UI is terrible, the units move at 20 FPS, and the online gameplay is buggy.

    There are countless things wrong with this game. The only saving grace is the upgraded character models and the fact you don’t need CDs anymore. Spend your $50 elsewhere people.

    Być może ocenianie gry za politykę firmy jaką zaprezentowała nie spełniając obietnic którymi reklamowała swój produkt nie jest w porządku ale poza głosowaniem portfelem i wystawianiem negatywnych ocen w takich sytuacjach sam nie widzę innych opcji. Oczywiście poza nie spełnionymi obietnicami jest jeszcze dużo więcej błędów np dziwaczne portrety pistacji, problemy z optymalizacją, afera zByć może ocenianie gry za politykę firmy jaką zaprezentowała nie spełniając obietnic którymi reklamowała swój produkt nie jest w porządku ale poza głosowaniem portfelem i wystawianiem negatywnych ocen w takich sytuacjach sam nie widzę innych opcji.     During the Campaign, some effects are missing during certain cut scenes, rendering them worse than they were originally (Arthas walking into the fog at the end of the Human Campaign in RoC, Tyrande collapsing the Bridge in TFT).    Some of the new models are too ugly and are not faithful recreations of the original models. Applies to 3d moving portaits as well. Thrall and Maiev come to mind.

    Ridiculous change in ToS, giving Blizzard ownership of any custom maps created by users

    In the first official statement from Blizzard after the release of WC3 Reforged, the developer team said the following:
    "We want to say we’re sorry to those of you who didn’t have the experience you wanted"

    This basically suggests, that the players didn't get the experience they wanted, because they had unreasonably high expectations and based them on what they themselves wanted.
    The truth is, that the players based their expectations on what was advertised back in 2018, and also based on what is advertised on the official site for them game to this day.

    The devs also said, that they announced, that the cutscenes from the trailer are related to "individual concerns", that they are not going to bother to address, and that supposedly they let the community know, that these wont be in the final product on some pannel on BlizzCon 2019, which nobody watched... yet they continue to use them in the trailer and the official site for the game.

    Clearly a case of false advertisement. 0/10 Total con!    … Expand

    I was excited to play through the campaign again in all-new graphical glory. Also some of the custom maps were outstanding and I was hoping they would be compatible. I did have a go at the Beta and the graphics certainly looked okay but not as good as I had hoped. Of course, it was a Beta so I thought it's excusable. Now the game came out and for some reason I cannot even play with the newI was excited to play through the campaign again in all-new graphical glory. Also some of the custom maps were outstanding and I was hoping they would be compatible. I did have a go at the Beta and the graphics certainly looked okay but not as good as I had hoped. Of course, it was a Beta so I thought it's excusable. Now the game came out and for some reason I cannot even play with the new "Reforged" graphics at all because the switch in the settings is disabled and set to "Classic". Okay then I thought, bugs like that can sometimes happen with brand new games. Let's just go back to play classic Warcraft 3 then, right? Except I can't because Blizzard has removed that game.     And it ended up with the mod community, which had no reason to create mods for this new game.

    This Warcraft Reforged is a SHAME.

    Blizzard died, the company that made games thinking about players died !!!

    I cant believe someone gave it a 75 rating while also giving the following cons:
    -Incredibly buggy
    -Very limited improvements in some areas
    -Widespread issues in multiplayer
    -False advertising
    -modders are screwed over

    It would have been bad enough if Reforged had been terrible on its own. To tarnish the original in the process though, that is inexcusable.

    I did not bought reforged version but it affect me anyway. I'm the owner of old Warcraft 3. I am disappointed. I want the old Warcraft 3 back. I just want to have fun. Blizzard pls

    In my opinion false advertising. Besause of the Straholme mission.... They promised a new close up but we didnt get that. And this game keeps crashing. Not working properly. Not a good product, refunding also hell. F#%k Blizzard never buy anything from them anymore. Do not buy this game!

    If you had followed along with Blizzard during the development process you wouldn't be so suprised as to what was released. I like the game and will enjoy for years to come. The only downside is the lack of the LAN feature. This was my childhood and I realize I can just join games online with them but it still hurts a wee bit

    it feels like they lied to my face and robbed me. this is not the game we were pitched with the pre-orders. i rather they pushed the game back than push out this deformed cash grab. why blizzard? your name used to mean a good time. now it's on life-support.

    No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled).
    Downgraded product.
    Lots of old features missing

    Super Grafik, geile Texturen man merkt richtig dass die Entwickler sich mühe gegeben haben. Verstehe den ganzen **** hier nicht. Leute seit wann hat ein Publisher seine Vorgestellten Spiele tatsächlich eingehalten..... noch nie. Was wir auf der Blizzcon oder sonstigen Veranstaltungen sehen sind nur Demos, und falls Ihr Idioten das nicht gecheckt habt dann versucht mal aus eurem KellerSuper Grafik, geile Texturen man merkt richtig dass die Entwickler sich mühe gegeben haben.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
