    I am one of those people who loved the old campaign but only stayed for thr custom games.I pre ordered war3 reforged in hopes of a revived custom game scene.Then i saw the news regarding ownership and refunds....warcraft 3 custom scene didnt just die...it was killed when you consider that war 3 classic is not available anymore.

    oversold underdelivered hype that I now expect for blizzard. Why do they ruin every new game they release since Activision. Theb when you request a refund after spending 3 hours trying to optimise it as it runs so poorly you can't! Disgraceful

    One big **** Not only is the game released a bottom and a cash leap. Made overwhelmingly, they have destroyed the classic version that cannot be installed. Like the graphics can be changed but the Polish language version has also been changed to the bottom one from the reforged version. only with CDs you can play a good old game. at blizzard, the finite donkeys make their decisions.

    I purchased this game in order to play the classic custom games I remember only to find they’ve all been removed and any new maps are now Blizzard’s property. I cannot support this.

    Only game I've ever gotten a refund on in my entire life. No lie. Nearly everything advertised originally, (and much of what is still on the webpage for the game) is totally absent. Not sure how Activision-Blizzard are justifying charging $30-40 for what is essentially just an HD texture pack, but they're doing it. DO NOT BUY!

    Blizzard ****** up so bad that they somehow made it to the top 3 list of companies that you NEVER give money upfront to. And they managed to land the 3rd spot as they entered it. Goes in this order

    1. Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) - that's Chris Roberts, Star Citizen. Never give this douche a dime. Undisputed champs.

    I bought my first PC back in 2002 with Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos. This game was amazing, also the Frozen Throne Addon which was release 2003.

    I met so many nice people back in the days in Battle Net, we created a clan, We created lots of Maps with the World Editor which we played on LAN Parties, we played Ladder games so we had a lot of fun! Blizzard was the best company in the world in my opinion because you knew that when they release a game its not a beta game its a 1.0 Version not 0.8??? Version which is Warcraft 3 Reforged.

    I've never thought that it would be possible to ruin this experience with this disaster of a game, along without the possibility of not PLAYING THE CLASSIC GAME anymore! incredible! This feels like an 'out-of-season April's Fool joke' but it isnt! I feel so pissed about the Bugs ingame, the missing UI, the "Defeat" Problem when starting a mission in campaign and the performance. I feel like testing a software for 30 Euros as a beta tester(yes i am from Europe/Germany so sorry for my bad English ;) ).

    I will start to refund this game, despite it is said that if you click 'Start' in the Launcher you cannot refund the game anymore!

    They cant get away with that, everyone should know that Blizzard is not Blizzard anymore!

    So if you read this and u wanted to buy this game Dont do it! Maybe they will fix some problems in the next months but at this state you should not buy this game(wait for a sale maybe for 10 bugs).

    I give it a 0 because its still a beta and i cant give a critic to a game which isnt Version 1.0!

    They just destroyed a game I truly loved. They even run false advertising for the game as it was promised a full rework of in-game cinematics. They even previewed this and still use their "reforged" cinematic in the trailer on their webpage for the game! This is blatantly false advertising as it doesn't look even close to what we got in-game.

    On top of this they even DESTORYED THE OLD GAME! They force a download of the new files even on those who haven't bought Reforged. They removed many functions form the old game and made it a "premium" feature by requiring you to buy Reforged to have access to them (Shadows are one of them any).

    To summarize: They released an unfinished product that is nowhere close to what was promised and marketed to the community and they managed to destroy an old product who was perfect. Thanks Blizzard. I got a refund and I sincerely hope the rest of you do as well.    … Expand

    What isnt arguable at all is the fact, that activision managed to not only cut off promised features and new content but also removed essential features in the battle.net as well as lan support.

    And if you think thats enough of screwing their long year customers you are damn wrong, because activision decided to remove the ability to even download the classic tft client and enjoy an actual playable game, which means that people are either stuck on 1.27 or play this piece of gargabe remaster which isnt worth a single penny in my eyes.

    This game is so broken, the UI is a stupid huge downgrade, the textures are looking washed out. The whole models look stupid when moving and the whole charm the game had is mostly gone.

    This is the last game i ever bought from activision / blizzard or lets say i havent technically bought since i got a refund for my money but unrfortunately not for my wasted lifetime.    … Expand

    Игре я готов поставить 1 балл - за новые модельки. Все остальное сделано плохо, не доделано или не сделано вовсе.
    Отвратительная анимация, вырвиглазные текстурки, ландшафт, да и многие эффекты выглядят хуже, чем в 2002 году. Это все выглядит как какая-то шаблонная азиатская ММОРПГ, коих штампуют сотнями. Ах, ну да, Близзард же теперь не делает игры - эту работу отдали на оутсорсинг студии из Азии, вот они и сделали то что обычно делают.
    Финальный ролик, который ждали 17 лет, выглядит как фановая самоделка, да что там самодельщики сейчас и по-лучше делают. По уровню режессуры он проигрывает даже той кривой заглушке, что была в ТФТ, какие-то глупые анимешные ухмылки, в будушем Иллидан воскресит Артаса и они станут лучшими друзьями, ня. И такое от самого Близзарда, который славится своими великолепными роликами. Что ж. Теперь уже нет.
    И очень сомневаюсь, что в будущем что-то будут исправлять. Может какие-то баги и поправят, но тут проблема не в них.
    Деньги, естественно, возвращаю, негоже за такое платить.    … Expand

    Everything they promised not delivered. I really dont like to be decived and that game just broke all boundries. Total disapointment. I just wanted to relive memories od the best campain ever but its just unplayable. Response time is stupidest thing i ever saw, but even that is not as bad as units movement.

    So many points to speak out, so little time.

    I have wasted hundreds of euros to World of Warcraft back in the days (maybe even 2-2,5k), and this is a repayment in kind, huh?

    Very disappointed both by the game and by Blizzard's behavior. Not only did they manage to fail the remaster, they also completely destroyed the original game in the same move, while adding some ridiculous terms of use, and refusing any refund request.

    This is NOT how you make video games Blizzard.

    No redone cut-scenes, no improved UI, no adjusted plot to current lore state. Not Reforged, just redrawn, re-voiced. Overall this one seems like piece of false advertisement from Blizzcon 2018.
    Classic Warcraft 3 client is gone, new one seems better but some functionality like clans is lost.
    I doubt Blizzard fix this failure, but hope a bit though.

    Have now lost all trust in Blizzard. Never going to prepurchase a game from them again. So, many things wrong with this release; removing the original war3, old gui, mixed graphics upgrades, path finder still bad, grouping still bad. Game basically looks like a first beta release and not a final release.

    Warcraft 3 and especially Tft were a main reason for us to have great LAN parties. The whole week we prepared everything, cleaned up our PCs and talked about nothing else. This game was special, containing a brilliant campaign and having one of the best multiplayer experiences I know. The modding was the topping: Tower defences, footmen frenzy and the early dotas...and boy....theWarcraft 3 and especially Tft were a main reason for us to have great LAN parties. The whole week we prepared everything, cleaned up our PCs and talked about nothing else. This game was special, containing a brilliant campaign and having one of the best multiplayer experiences I know. The modding was the topping: Tower defences, footmen frenzy and the early dotas...and boy....the announcement of reforged was hell of a surprise for me waiting for warcraft 4. Again, me and the boys talked about nothing else. We haven't seen each other for years, all of us working in different towns and even countries. And hell yeah, we managed to organise a LAN! Of course we pre-ordered...we never do this, but in this case we did. AoE 2 was a great remake and we loved it, but this was more to us. So...what could go wrong. I will not talk about the game, this happens a lot more detailed in great texts and videos (e.g. by laymen gaming). I will just say one thing: Blizzard, you failed and betrayed us. Ten grown up men, meeting for a special night, a LAN party after 15 years, and we ended up with this absolute disaster of a game. We all will refund this, and had fun with our old, still playable Tft versions from 15 years ago.… Expand

Я ждал ремастер, я его получил. Единственное голос Артеса не очень и скролл карты мышкой какой-то тупой, скроллю стрелками на клаве.     На mac это Чертов мусор, такое чувство, что старый добрый Варкрафт 2003 года ухудшили и заставили купить сраную альфа версию начала 00

    Sadly I refunded the game within the time limit. Maybe pick it up on sale when it gets fixed and complete. Problem I kept getting was 'Defeated' randomly happening, black screens, crashes. I have bought nearly every game Blizzard has produced and this is the first time I have ever refunded.

    It was impossible to spoil the WarCraft 3 gameplay. But with everything else Reforged has problems: bad optimization, unrepainted cutscenes, poor detail and quality of art, lack of Ladder, and forced conversion of Classics to Reforged. Client «classic» WarCraft 3 — 30 gb instead of 2 gb. Network things are broken.

    Well, the game came out, one month late and it isn't better than the beta. Nothing works, crashes, campaign is terrible... Well... I've been screwed and asked for a refund, but I don't know if it'll go through.

Instant defeats, multiplayer doesn’t work, can’t play with friends, crap models hardly anything “reforged” about this game, UI is laggy and can be unresponsive. To top that off they shat on the original game, To be fair I don’t expect anything from blizzard these days, BFA is crap, shadowlands looks like it’s gonna beUtter garbage, like most blizzard games these days.... bugs and lies.     Why do I have to download ALL of Reforged just to play the original? I already refunded Reforged but have to install it for my original 2002 copies. Why???

    Never mind the fact Blizzard has effectively made this a downgrade from the original - with multiplayer ladders even gone. Why bother "remastering" if the result is worse than what you started with?

    No custom campaign :( no good conditions for modders :( no SP :( sometimes from nothing game crashing or will not load :( imagine if you are waiting in room like 10-20 minutes for players and then it will crash.... Hopefully they will add something what could bring players tot his version back like add csmpaign with rexxar, for example story how he get to outland or something....     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
