    I was gonna buy this, but it cost close to a full price game, especially when you compare prices to ones on Steam, especially during a big sale... So I waited and in the meantime I checked out youtube to see what I was missing...

    And thank God I never paid a single cent, because this hame is almost as much of a fail if not equally bad as the notorious game release of No Man's Sky.     It was blatantly falsely advertised, even after it was released and I highly doubt they plan on rectifying the faults and missing content they promised even after release before changing the website to better reflect it's current state, in the mess it's in. They also made sure people wouldn't want to make custom maps anymore. As all made maps automatically become the intellectual property of Blizzard. Or sorry ACTIVISION.     Don't buy this piece of sht, is just a big fraud that you can not refound and take back your money. The game is broken and it does not have even a 1% of what they promise. Is just garbage.

    Remaster of games that actually removes things instead of adding them. I never give 0 but this one is well deserved as it is insane cash grab. LAN play removed. Do I have to say more? It is downgrade to good old game as original WC3 was basically removed. If you do not have reforged menu is grey which is clear split into my face from Lulzzard.

    While the game itself does not deserve a 0, I'll still give it this score because of everything Blizzard has done, and the way they've acted. It pains me that one of my favorite game of all time has such low rating, but I can only agree with the majority that Blizzard deserve all of this.

    Worst cash grab! And moreover they DESTROYED an original game! It became an abomination! 29.5 gb client instead of 3. No more old battle.net. Ugly reforged 2d menu instead of original 3d. Beautiful campaign selection 3d scenes were removed! No more LAN option. No more old localization available. And the main menu is Chroumium based browser! How is that even possible?

    Coming from somebody who still has the hard copy of the original warcraft 3 reign of chaos in my closet. Thank GOD I haven't pitched that out yet. Warcraft 3 is a beloved masterpiece that holds a special place in my heart. It's near and dear to me just like my copy of Diablo 2 because it was made by a different company than Activision/Blizzard.     I've been playing Blizzard games for 25 years. My first title was Warcraft II. Reforged is not a product previous management for Blizzard Entertainment would have allowed out the door. I don't know what's going on in Irvine, but this is just sad.

    - Missing Game modes - Restricted Custom options - No Ladder - Bugs! Crashing and FPS performance problems - The artwork is beautiful,    I've been playing Blizzard games for 25 years. Launch day comes and I remembered that this isnt the same blizzard we had when this game came out. I played roughly 2 hours of this broken mess. And decided enough was enough, time to go back to the OG Warcraft. They merged the two games so thatI have played warcraft 3 since its original launch date, so naturally, I was giddy with excitement when I heard that it was getting a remaster.     I have to say this game is a complete disaster. They managed to ruin everything that made Warcraft 3 great. All their promisses weren't fullfilled either, such as new cinematics and custscenes. Avoid this game like the plague.

    The custom games that I would have loved to have played this game for, and also to have spent hours creating some, would have apparently only been food for the bottomless mouth of greed which Blizzard insists on aggressively enforcing upon their paying customers regardless if that would wipe away any, or all of their human rights.

    In the real world, if you create something, if you put something together yourself (outside of your contractual work) you own it because... you are the one who created it. This right apparently shall no longer be of value as it seems even the title you put on your custom game shall not be something you own as soon as you submit it in the game you payed to play.

    Cool Blizzard, when can I expect my next salary?

    2. Numerous bugs and false promises that others have been mentioning all along.

    I could honestly begin to start putting effort into understanding and somewhat accepting SOME of your beyond scummy aggressive new TOS rules if the game was flawless, polished and with a ton of features. But when you present us with a broken, low-effort mess and disgusting TOS like that on top of it, how could anyone in their right mind participate in this and be happy about it?

    I didn't bought this **** but they ruined the classic version of WarCraft 3. Not working in local games, not working the campaign, can't create and join to the custom games (rip classic dota).

    I hope this company will face massive layoffs and a complete reorganization of the management team.

    Warcraft II & III were some of my favorite games growing up. I was worried that blizzard wasn't going to be able to deliver and boy did they even do worse than I could have ever possibly imagined. They say gamers are hyperbolic... Well maybe they are! All this game did was make me want to play the original. And blizzard took that away from us too. Why blizzard? Why?

    Some people, including me, have devices on which you can’t even launch the game (error handling request)

    They made the last gameS of the series inacessible to those having this bug.

Llevaba mucho tiempo esperando con muchisimas ganas Warcraft III reforged o un hipotetico Warcraft IV, ademas como mi mas preciado deseo esperaba un Diablo II HD o Remaster, ahora he cambiado por completo mi opinion: NO TOQUEIS DIABLO 2.

    Se han cargado todos los mapas a los que jugaba, se han cargado el juego antiguo, se han cargado la interfaz, no han cumplido en nada en lo referente a la campaña, las voces y la cinematica, y para si fuera poco el match making es peor que el anterior, ademas me han quitado la posibilidad de seguir jugando a mi juego antiguo de siempre.

    Lo han hecho mucho peor de lo que lo hicieron con el Stacraft clasico. Blizzard, la compañia que ocupa en mi casa una estanteria entera de ediciones coleccionistas, y figuras, para mi, esta muerta.

    Nunca volvere a confiar en ellos, y dificilmente vuelva a invertir un duro en sus juegos.

    A 17 year old game was taken and butchered and we can't even go back to the way things were. I was looking forward to a remake for so many years but this is by far one of the biggest let downs in gaming. Also Blizzard's response has been disgusting and is largely the reason for a 0 rating.

    I was playing Warcraft 3 for 10 years. Then I have a break for few years and made a comeback after the announcement of WC3: Reforged.

    The pre reforge gaming experiece was great and I had big expectations after the announcement... After playing the final realese I must say that even Fallout 76 is a masterpiece compere to this joke.. The only reason the critics didn't gave it 0 is    I was playing Warcraft 3 for 10 years.     i made a metacritic account to rate this as a zero and say how much i hate this game. not only is it a hideous reskin of what was an ageless and charming game, but its also 32gb AND BREAKS THE ORIGINAL GAME. it makes me sick that this abomination had to go and alter the original classic for the worst. breaks my heart

    Their remastered made the game way worse. They made the older, more superior version, unplayable in favor of this one. They lied about everything they promised for this game. I actively hate everyone who works on this game. That's how bad it is. They butchered it, they ruined it.

    The old cutscenes from 20 years ago are better.

    The game is poorly done, simple as that. It didn't fulfill the expectation that they themselves set, the overall quality is lacking at the most generous, and the legal stranglehold they're trying to establish over anything in the vein of custom games is concerning at the absolute least. Avoid at all costs whether you're a returning player or a new initiate.

    You can't remaster one of the best your games by this way.
    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing
    - Bad idea with custom maps

    It's amazing how this "new and improved" version has actually managed to make an 18 year old game worse.

    Activision has ruined blizzard. It's no longer by gamers for gamers. Instead, it's by greedy capitalists for shareholders. They cut corners, did false advertising, and the game is plagued with bugs and bad performance. Nothing like the games the blizzard of old used to put out.

    I pre-ordered as soon as I heard about this classic getting a complete overhaul.
    Should have not done that, and should have requested a refund before playing a few missions as I cannot get my money back now.
    Game is not really an upgrade, you can see some touches of where it was updated but overall is a disappointment.

    Worse than the original game in all respects (except for unit models). The changes in campaign are negligible, the original version is no longer available and the cutscenes remained the same. But most importantly, Blizzard lied to their fans and ripped them off.

    There is not a single redeeming factor of Warcraft 3 Reforged. If it were possible to give a game a negative score, this would be deserving, as it not only is a terrible game, a poorly made rushed cash grab, outsourced garbage, but it also ruined another game in the process.

    This release removes so many features, has so many bugs and falls so short of the expectations set by the trailers that it sows how incompetent Blizz has become. I have played mods made by single individuals that are more polished than this game. The game reeks of being rushed, "fix it later" I imagine was decided. This is not worth money AT ALL in its current state. DO NOT BUY.

    To be short, I lost faith in your company a long time ago. It was the day of Overwatch's launch to be specific, though I shouldn't have given you the business even then after the Diablo 3 real money auction house. Activision/Blizzard I have watched you go from a great publisher & developer to a pitiful excuse of either in the 4 years since.

    From one mistake to another you've lost my custom and my faith, and while I had no reason to hope for a quality product from you, I did wish for you to turn it around.
    But enough is enough. I do not want to give you any more. No more hype, no more acclaids, not even passive data collection, and though you haven't received a penny from me in years I am now resolved to no longer buying any game with your names on the cover from this day forth.

    I ever I get nostalgic, I'm going to boot up an old PC that isn't connected to the internet, install the games off CDs, and enjoy reminiscing a time when you were once was great. A time from before you fell from grace.

    I may no longer be your target demographic, but if these other 12500+ negative reviews are anything to go by, you might have have many targets left if you mess up like this again.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
