    Just get a refund and stick to the original game and the Frozen Throne expansion with full HD or 4k+ resolution and the game still shines almost 20 years later.

    The game is not reforged. This not a remake. This is just a rerelease with some patches.

    I was genuinely excited to play this game. But I chose not to buy it on day 1 because I have a huge backlog. But now that I heard about the scummy practices of Blizzard... yeah, eff this game. Blizzard, if you want me to buy the game, fix it.

    Do not buy this!! This is literally a downgraded version of warcraft3 with a slight paintjob. The only good thing I can say about it is that the model sprites look more 2015 (still underwhelming but servicable) almost like a free hd mod would have done. Oh and they managed to break the original.

    Thankfully i didnt buy this, but from what ive seen its an updated graphics pack for 30 dollars, and in some cases a graphics downgrade. And Blizzard outsourced the work for the new models to malaysia... This is the worst attempt of a cash grab ive seen in a long time.

    Blizzard is rushing to pay off metacritic reviewers so their stocks don't plummet further. This company died a decade ago and the corpse is just rotting further. I was a fool to pre-order this game so long ago I can't file a chargeback with my bank. I can't say I'm surprised. It's official, Blizzard is just a money scam. This game just solidified the facts.

    Now, after their recent patch, all bushes on the maps have turned in to black/green cubes.

    Personally, I don't care about the campaign or cutscenes at all. So F all that noise. But I do care about the competitive multiplayer part of it, which currently lacks any kind of ELO/MMR/Rank/Ladder system, making it a painful experience where I have to deal with inexperienced morons in my team time after time. It's full of toxic trolls, and idiots. People with no manners in any way, shape or form. You can't not win your way away from these incapable subhumans, and get to play with players that have a brain.

    Now, after the patch, they introduced this brand new and amazing feature..... INVISIBLE CREEPS THAT YOU CAN'T ATTACK! Which is awesome! It doesn't affetc all players, but it sure as hell Fs me over! Can't build expansion bases becase there are invisible enemies blocking it, that I can not kill, and will kill any building I create near them, or unit I place near them. So this BS has lost me a couple of games.

    I can't bother thinking about all the crap that's messed up, but on a gameplay level there are a serious amount of rage-inducing bugs that have made me just ragequit several 1v1 games. Like not being able to pick up units. You send a unit somewhere, then it goes somewhere else and dies instead. You click hold position, and then the units just attacks and gets itself killed anyway. So F your micro, it ain't worth sh##. The game's gonna make sure of that.

    Utterly disappointing remake. What the F did you do for all these years, Blizzard!??!?! scratch your assets!? (see what I did there?) You greedy asset-holes. And reading up on their EULA, that's not even a made up word. It's truth. Years in the making, and they make it worse than the 18 year old original. What on earth!? Greedy, cash-grabbing scum!

    Random Team games are still rampant with **** and teamkillers and trolls and retards, JUST like it was on classic after blizzard decided they'd stop giving a crap about people ruining the game for other people, and just let them run loose and do what they want. They still do. With no repercussion.

    .....why does blizzard not get a repercussion for this!? like some anthrax at their offices or something!? UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!

    released a incomplete game, whitout Matachmaking, Ladder, Profiles, Clans, Friends, Torunaments, Custom Campaigns, several bugs, the cut - scenes is the same, old UI, and some graphics are ugly, this a offensive remake for fan base.

    This should not have been released in the state that it is currently in. There's no good reason for the game to be missing features, to force you to play the reforged version, and to have been downgraded from what was initially advertised. Not worth your time or your money.

    The game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play. The undead and in many cases the humans are just getting face-rolled by the nightelfs and the orcs. Then the orcs just get face-rolled by the nightelfs... In solo play 2 night elf armies can easily outmatch 3 full orc armies. And they always know where your second base is Moonpriest or not, they easily find it wtf... All in all and with theThe game is ridiculously unbalanced in solo play.     Ok, I didn't awaited that the game will be something new. But for "reforged" game I awaited that the game would be reforged and not upscaled. Graphics laggs, textures laggs and offline game was removed... all promises were broken and the best game for me was ruined...

Ranking was broken, teammates always was dumb and they always leave the game, and i can't report that. The game search was broken. I start to search, game was found, but nothing happend, only i can do it is quitPlaying WC3 since 2002 from ROC. 99% of this time i was play on ladder. But now i don't have and old WC3, i have only Reforged client wihout new models with 25GB on my system SSD. Техническое состояние - сетевой код плохой и сетевая игра крашится, и крашится она даже на чемпионатах, лол. В главном менюГрафика убогая. In the past few months they've been attempting to censor free speech, shoving microtransactions into every nook and cranny of once-beloved games, and now releasing this blatant cashgrab to profit off of the hopes of their fans through false advertising.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Warcraft 3 was my favourite game of all time and I was super hyped for Warcraft Reforged. Unfortunately Reforged turned out to be a buggy mess, several of the models look even worse than the original, a defeat screen would come up occasionally, ruining the campaign for no reason and worst of all some levels wouldn't even open up. Still this doesn't begin to describe the problems with this game.
    For some reason they thought it was a good idea to balance a game that was almost two decades old, the new hero models look all over the place and nothing like the original and to top it off they decided that the Wow-aesthetic was better than the original Warcraft style. Regardless, even with that it wouldn't have been that bad.

    But it gets Worse

    So much worse.

    The bugs for some reason prevent people from playing the original Warcraft 3 so you had to buy reforged, then they decided everyone needed to download the new reforged game and increase my just-at-few-GB game into a more than twenty Gb game. I live in a country with pretty damn poor internet so it took me almost 4 days to download the thing.
    And even when i did, I coulkdn't join anyones games initially, I couldn't play single player melee and I couldn't finish the campaign after randomly getting booted out of the games.

    And finally the worst part of all this:
    Custom games are dead
    Reforged killed almost all the custom maps so they couldn't be played.
    And to top it off they introduced a EULA that prevented people from making custom maps.
    Custom Maps are ruined.
    The chances of people fixing all of the lost maps (that were also deleted from my computer, thank god I kept a backup) are pretty damn abyssal, not to mention all thge fan maps, like Dragon Ball Z tribute or all those Naurto dotas.

    Blizzard has actually ruined my favourite game for what was merely meant to be a cash grab.
    All they had to do was make it so we could have Better models, instead they decided to go all out and beat Bethesda Creation club idea. Imagined if they introduced a Skyrim patch that deleted all mods and made it so all mods created are sole property of Bethesda.
    Blizzard killed one of the most popular RTS's on the planet so its no wonder they're getting negative reviews.    … Expand

    And yeah i paid for this "game" and yeah i did refunded this game. I bought it to play WarCraft 3 Original officially with friends and now i can't play maps such Naruto Castle Defence or arenas.     Es el peor lanzamiento jamás hecho. En primer lugar, su faceta online es una total porquería que da 5 pasos atrás. Las políticas de volverse dueños del contenido del usuario.
    Lo peor es que hemos sido engañados con las supuestas nuevas cinemáticas. Muchas web lo calificab como review bombing, pero esto es totalmente justificable. Un asco. No lo compres.

    Cutscenes. The main event. The one thing that kept players in anticipation, was utterly disappointing. The gameplay cutscenes shown in 2018 were light years away from what was in the actual game. Nothing was improved - I rather play the old version and I will be more than satisfied than this complete farce of a product.

    The reforged version comes with so many bugs and glitches, and forces players to agree to a new EULA agreement, which gives Blizzard complete copyright on every content and mod created.

    All the hype on the reforged version's graphics is lies - while textures are somewhat 'enhanced', the overall visuals just feels half-done, a complete vomit show, and just reeks of laziness and lack of passion. It feels like something got glued together on top of the 2002 version for a quick cash grab.

    Please, do not buy this, especially if you own the old WC3; it will overwrite the old one and you will never be able to play custom games such as DOTA and what not as Blizzard will complete copyright over them. AVOID THIS GAME.    … Expand

    A lazy entry from a company with no respect for the industry or it's fanbase, based on false advertising and deception, expect this trend to continue as long as fanbois continue to buy into the hype.

    THANKFULLY they have now decided to issue automatic refunds for a limited time, and I would suggest purchasers take advantage of this before it ends.

    This game now also represents the Corpse of Blizzard who have now been utterly consumed by Activision and is now wearing it's skin like a Macabre puppet.

    They made a lesser product than the original. Crashes often, cant start campaign battles, and a whole host of other problems that I haven't encountered because I can't play the game but you will find in more in-depth reviews. **** Blizzard. Don't give them money for any reason and let the company die.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
