Nice graphics but what a waste of my money, I have bought the game, I'm not just giving it a negative review for no reason, it's lacking, majorly. I might as well go buy another copy of The Sims 2.

I really like TS4. With every iteration of the Sims, it is hard to go from a full game with all EPs and SPs to a base game. TS4 is no exception. In this base game there are two worlds each with 4 venues. There has never been oodles of things to do in any base game because well, it's a base game. With every iteration of the Sims, it is hard to go from a full game with all EPs and SPs to a base game. TS4 is no exception. In this base game there are two worlds each with 4 venues. There has never been oodles of things to do in any base game because well, it's a base game. However, given the way your sims have deeper layers of interaction it more than makes up for waiting a few months for that first EP.

Here's my take on the game after 12 hours of play.
    (1) Build mode is very easy to work with. Even novice builders will have an easy time in this game to create the house that they dream of.

    (2) CAS is amazing. It does take a bit of getting used to with the pulling, but you can pretty much create any sim you imagine. The customization range is huge. The only thing missing is a height slider.

    (3) The Sims themselves are now alive. They feel incredibly fleshed out. You can now look into the face of your sim and tell what is going on with them. They react to the world around them in more visible ways through their animations such as the walk style. In my own game when my sim was angry, she stomped through the house and after getting a meal from the fridge she slammed the door and walk to the table while grumbling. When she is happy she'll sing in the shower and walks with a bit of a pep in her step. They will also take very good care of themselves all on their own. I noticed many times in TS3 my sims would do activities to max out their fun bar while every other motive decayed. Not so in TS4. The sims also seem to want to interact with each other as opposed to items within the world.

    (4) Gardening and fishing make a comeback and careers are revamped. There are now eight careers with 2 branches in each for a total of 16. Some of the old favorites such as law, politician and medical are absent, but you have new additions like astronaut, tech guru and secret agent. It is a bit more work to get promoted as compared to prior games. There are activities for your sim to complete to help improve their work performance. Also, career objects make a comeback. As your sim climbs the ladder and gets promoted, they will get items to help further their career.

    (5) Familiar faces also make a comeback as we see the return of Don Lothario, the Caliente sisters, the Goths and the Landgraabs.

    (6) There are many items to find in the game such as gems, aliens, frogs and treasure maps. There are also 2 hidden areas available.

    (7) Recipes have vastly improved. There are many more meal types for your Sims to create in the kitchen.

    (8) The world is no longer an open world. Depending on how you played TS3, this would be a major drawback. My sims never randomly walked around the world in TS3 so that TS4 is closed world doesn't affect me. The good: better processing since the game is only rendering smaller areas at a time, your sims don't have to account for carpool time when attending to their needs prior to work. The bad: for some it may "kill the immersion" as your sim goes to the edge of the lot and fades off when they go to work, you may feel confined after a time when at your home lot, there is a load screen whenever your sim wants to leave/return to the home log - they are quite short however.

My sims don't miss having a pool. They're more interested in interacting with each other. There are many complaints about "missing" things from the game. However, if you read the negative reviews for TS2 and TS3, they are all the same as the ones from TS4. I think TS4 is a solid base game and sets a great foundation for things to come. I have not had any issues with my game, but then again I am running it on a custom gaming rig and not a 10 year old laptop with an integrated chipset. I personally do not think the Let's Plays or Live Streams do the game justice. Why even listen to subjective reviews? You simply should experience it for yourself to form your own judgement. Consider taking up EA on their "great game guarantee" and try the game for yourself. If you don't like it, you can return it for a full refund.

A great improvement on The Sims series. Exactly what I would expect out of a sequel with SO MUCH more packed in. Create-A-Sim and Build mode have very intuitive controls and Live Mode shows off the Sims' emotions super well! Tons of fun!

The Sims 4 focuses on smaller tight knit communities that allow your Sims to have a thriving social life. There are some downsides to the game such as no toddlers, pools, and terrain tools. However the game runs smooth unlike Sims 3, and I found it to have very addicting gameplay. I don't mind the smaller worlds or the fact there is a loading screen(which is only a few seconds). I think this game is great for what it is and has a good foundation for future updates and expansions. Expand

When I first loaded Sims 4 I was majorly disappointed and would have given it a 0-2 Score. It seemed to be so limited in what you could do and taking out the open world hurt what I liked about Sims.

After playing it for 4 more hours on the next day I started to like a lot of the new Emotion mechanics and the resulting game play. But also the flaws have come out a lot clearer. I still am very disappointed that they removed the open world. And esp when you are playing a full family there are a lot of times when you loose control over your Sims. This is not only a nuisance but majorly annoying for me.

Also there are bugs concerning this situations. When a Sim for example reads a Skill book in the library and you switch over to another Sim, he not only instantly stops what he was doing, but when you return focus to her, the book is missing from the library.
I know this is a bug that will be fixed eventually, but the lack of control over your Sims (while time is passing for them) is getting more annoying the bigger the family is.
Another example is doing that when you have no focus on your child while it is at home, there is no way to let it do its homework. That means you are required to have focus on the Sim to do this and can not go on working on your other sim at another location while one person has to do boring but necessary work.

I really like the Emotion system and how it ties into the wishes. also the Multitasking makes the family experience very cool. The graphics are nice, though not high end. That Sims just vanish when they go to work/school is ok with me.
The lack of options that so many people complain about was to be expected it being the base game of a long Expansion series. And Vanilla Sims 3 is also very limited.
Taking out Toddlers is something I do not like and I hope there will be a 'Generations' expansion that reintroduces them.

All in all I like some of the game aspects, but I have to get used to the loosing control part. It makes for a new game experience that changes up a lot from Sims 3 to this one.

i give it a 5 with an outlook to become a game that can rise to a much higher score after some expansions and a bit more getting used to changes.

The Sims 4 was meant to be an online social game until about halfway through its production -- and it shows. I mean, it REALLY shows.

Normally, I'm fine with features being removed from game sequels to make room for new ideas. In this case, though, I think prospective players ought to know that a ton of content present previous incarnations of The Sims was eliminated from 4, not to make room for cool new features, but to facilitate online play that isn't even in the game now. The result is a game that runs pretty well on low-end PCs mostly because there's not much stuff in it.

What's new is mostly the emotions system, which is initially an interesting change-up, but in the long run simple and somewhat overpowering. For the most part, emotions are the same as moodlets from the Sims 3 but with animations and limits on what you can do when a sim is in a bad mood. If you're a control-freak with your sims, or the kind of person that gets annoyed when the game imposes assumes the wrong things about the story you think you're telling, this will frustrate you, just like jealousy and fury probably annoyed you in previous games.

Beyond that, new features are mostly small niceties, and cuts are significant. Lower-poly graphics, no open world, tiny map, no freedom to alter terrain or place lots, no ability to recolor and restyle objects in game, no hair animation, no story progression, fewer clothes, needlessly locked content, no stores, and apparently no service NPCs (mailmen, newspaper delivery person, maid, etc). Oh, right and no pools or toddlers, but you probably knew that. But still. The list goes on.

Whether you enjoy this incarnation of the game will definitely depend on whether or not you cared about any of the things they cut, and how you feel about the idea of having a stripped-down version of The Sims 3 that runs more smoothly. Please do a lot of research if you're thinking of buying this though -- google for the feature lists fans have made up or watch some gameplay videos on youtube.

From me, though, this gets a zero on principle. Game companies, please do not lie and say you cut content to make room amazing new features we're going to be blown away by when the real reason is that you changed direction mid-development and ran out of time. Game reviewers, please do not blindly assign high scores to questionable entries into awesome franchises you are not exceptionally familiar with. Optimistic fans, please try to avoid rating games based on the promise of expansions packs fixing problems somewhere down the line. Given 4 has dramatically different architecture than previous Sims games, there's no easy way of guessing what can and cannot be added after the fact, but things like create-a-style, story progression and open world are pretty unlikely to turn up in an expansion. (Terrain editing, basement tools, and pools might be tricky too, depending on how things are coded.)

The Sims 4 was originally a social online game codenamed "Olympus" -- look it up if you're curious -- so please, everybody, quit propagating the misconception that EA might have cut content from this game intentionally for reasons related to good design, or even to sell it to us again later as DLC. The Sims 4 as we know it was a last minute attempt to save an unviable online-only product after SimCity blew up in EA's face. Love it or hate it, there's simply way less game here than there should be, features are unbalanced, and yes, there is a very good chance that after the early hours what's there will get old quickly.

Personally, I already feel like I've seen close to all there is to see in two days. :(

Sim City has already drawn so much attention and become a legend of simulation games in modern era. Today, another legend has born, which is this wonderful game.

Sims 4 has significant improvement over its predecessor. It has an improved UI, which is more user friendly. Its graphic is superb and oustanding. On a technical side, the optimization is perfect, the game is running extremely smoothly. The game play elements also bring the simulation of life to a new level. It has a lot of elements added, and offers a great variety of game play choices for players. Also, it is very realistic, which is an outstanding life simulator.

All in all, the game has a lot of innovative and creative improvement, which is a must-have for all fans of simulation.

I am already looking forwards for more DLCs to come. Please do not release expansions again like the old-days, as this takes too much time for development. Fans want new contents as soon as possible. Developers, please try to release more and more DLCs on a weekly, or if possible, on a daily basis. Fans are eager to pay for more FUN! ;)

Every one, please join me to celebrate the great launch day of such fantastic title!

Lack of resources they say, plenty of FX people but not enough other devs. Yeah, EA - one of the largest developers in the world, making the latest installment of a flagship super-popular game lacks resources for content. Ok. Who wants to bet that all this content will make a conspicuously convenient appearance in DLC format, for a premium, at oddly regular intervals, almost as if it was already finished long beforehand? "Not enough content!" is hilarious, considering that the older games have always started with less content. That is an over-time thing, and it hasn't changed. I've accepted that, everyone else should too. It's called a business model.

    Now on to the game!

UI Complaints - People who do not like the new UI, simply don't like new things. The new UI is better, but more complex, which makes it more difficult to maneuver. You'll use buttons and movements more than 10 mouse clicks. The people who don't think there are as many options, are simply too impatient to give it a try and learn the different menus.

Cars / Open World / Loading Times - What exactly was the purpose of cars? Look! My sim gets in the car and goes to work. Same thing, different day. It's called an unnecessary time consuming animation. Next. The previous games had some difficulty with the larger worlds and lag. I'm totally okay with trading more, quite short, loading screens. Thaaank you. The only one downside is the fact you'll switch "back and forth" between lots where different Sims are. Still not a huge deal to me.

Toddlers - Gone. Who cares? I have better things to do.

Pools - Again, what was their purpose? Sims in bikinis! Don't care. I only used them to make homes pretty. Next.

Multitasking - I find this awesome. I can get my socialization up while painting, running on a treadmill, just about anything.

Graphics - Some of the people here say the graphics aren't better. HA. They're crazy.

Tutorial Mode - It isn't the best, and yes the tips are a little random. Again, just explore and get used to things. Use your brain and tinker around a little.

Create-a-Style - I am a designer and enjoy building homes/design. But I will not miss this feature. If you want your walls to match your bedspread, simply wait some new items and add-ons to come out. Honestly it wasted too much of my time waiting for the loading process.

Camera Controls - Yes they're minorly different. You actually have even prettier views when you're zoomed all the way in. Less control overall, but better visuals. I'm fine with that. Accept some change, people. Next.

If you enjoy the "silly" side of Sims that actually make you laugh, you'll love this game.

If you enjoy building homes and making pretty things, you'll also love this game. But, it will be better for this later on - I'm certain.

If you enjoy the visuals, you'll also love the game as there are many more interesting aspects of that.

As mentioned before there are a couple items and such missing. Honestly it's not a "problem" for me at the moment. There are still so many new and interesting parts of the game, I could care less about a dishwasher. Make a loser sim to follow you and do your dishes for you. Problem fixed. :)

I compare this to buying WoW for $60 bucks but you need to pay another $15 to wear a helmet, oh you want to dual wield thats $15 bucks too, oh do you want to leave Orgrimmar? Thats $15. Hell if you want to see other players thats another $15 lets just get your credit card added.

Avoid this game until they learn from their ways and package more content in their games. Not just a barely changed revamp of the last model that is missing half the content.

    Don't buy this.
I know there will not be child and pools, but the game is not cut in that only. The map is 4 houses, 1 bar, 1 gym, 1 restaurant and 1 library, and you cannot create more plots. There is not graveyard. You cannot create your own style. There is not story progression.
    A full dissapointment.

However, it has several things that make it less fun than Sims 3. The first is that you can no longer walk around the town without loading screens. Gone are the days of jogging to the town square. Of wandering around and taking photos of landmarks from choice vantage points. Of sending one sim off to fish or collect rocks, while another sim works from home. You hit M to load the map, you pick a lot, the lot loads for several seconds, and you are suddenly, instantly there.

I am sure this was done for performance reasons, but this makes the game feel way more claustrophobic. Now when I leave the house I have to weigh that decision against the cons: Do I want the loading screen? Do I want to take both my sims, or do I leave one behind to do nothing while the other one visits the lot?

Likewise, Sims 4 adds a lot of click-bloat to the game. You simply have to click more to do the same things. Need to repair (way more often than in Sims 3)? Well first you repair. Then you have to clean up the mess afterwards, and if you want the salvage to upgrade plumbing/appliances later, you have to click for that too. What was previously a single action you queued up now becomes a multi-step hassle you have to handle one step at a time.

Other actions (such as eating) follow suit.

This combined with several other changes makes the game feel a lot less streamlined than its predecessor.

Now for the good news: The game loads a lot faster, and runs better than Sims 3 (it would be all but impossible not to). Sims 4 also looks better and character animations are much improved. The emotions add additional depth. A lot of objects (computer, shower, work out equipment, etc) have more options, and some of those options are specific to your emotion. This adds a lot of layers.

The real question is whether or not the annoyances (e.g. loading screens, extra clicks) are worth the new features. Currently, I am on the fence. It is fun, and aggrivating at the same time. The game could be better. If this was a stand alone title I would rank it much higher (closer to 8), but when you compare it to Sims 3 I think it is fair to say this game is currently a 6.

Sims was not built on pools, or toddlers, or 'Create-A-Style' (which was not convenient and felt more like a developer tool than a widget). Sims was built on Sims interacting with other Sims and the wild, fun, sad, unexpected events that would unfold. With the new emotions and multitasking Sims 4 does what the franchise has been trying to do better than it ever has before!

    ##PROS##

    * Multitasking is game changing! This alone elevates Sims 4 to the Best in Franchise!

    * Sims are smarter! (Sims will manage themselves far better.)

    * New Create-A-Sim! More powerful, more fun, and easier!

    * Build Mode is more powerful and easier. (You will have to re-learn a bit.)

    * Looks, Sounds, and Runs better than ever! (Gone are the looong load times and instability of Sims 3!)

    ##CONS##

    * Missing some 'legacy' content. (Toddlers, pools, dishwashers. None of this content was particularly fun or exciting, except MAYBE pools.)

    * Too Frequent Load Screens - A load screen to visit your neighbor is annoying. At least they're short.

    * No Create-A-Style

    * Some Bugs - Fire Dept. never seems to show up. 'Pee Like a Champion' does nothing different from normal toilet use. Paintbrush may stick to Sims hand (Reload to fix this). (All of this is patchable.)

For starters, there is a whole bunch of content missing that was always supplied to us from the past sims base games. BUT it MAY be available in the future as DLC for EXTRA MONEY! I mean, come on. Is that all EA thinks of us? A dollar bill? Pools were always implemented in the game, now if they do decide to add them in we customers have to line their pockets with even more money just to get the basics that were always provided? As far as graphically, yes the game is a bit smoother BUT that whole cartoon like look is just not my cup of tea. Another thing that I cannot look past is the loading screens and the fact there is NO open world. The game feels so claustrophobic and cramped and we, the players, have lost the freedom of just leaving our home to go for a jog or drive aimlessly around town all hours of the night. To go to the next door neighbors house there is a loading screen. So lame. Another BIG issue I have is the playability. If I want to play with more then one character and want to leave my home or a lot, I either have to take them with me or if I go alone their not playable until I return to where they currently are. That is so stupid. I loved being able to take one of my sims to a spa while simultaneously making my other garden while making another dance away at a local night club. My freedom is severely compromised with TS4 and I am so disappointed at the choices that were made. I can't see how this is a step up, as it really reminds me of playing The sims app on my ipad instead of an actual PC game. I will stick with playing TS3 and will not be wasting anymore money on content from the sims 4. They are on my crap list hardcore right now. Expand

It's tough to transition from a prior generation of The Sims because you go from it being fully featured with TONS of content back down to the bare minimum, and are faced with a few years of expansions and theme packs to purchase before you get back to the item-and-content rich heights from before.

This latest version is a major step forward both in designing your sim and in working on the design and layout of your homes. Gone are the myriad sliders of the prior games, and instead you just click and drag to move features and body part dimensions around on your sims. House design now actually approaches that over-used adjective "intuitive" in its use. Want to resize a room? Click and drag the corner just like you would think you want to, and the room resizes accordingly with decorations and furnishings moving along to reasonable new locations.

I have a few-months old PC and am able to run with all graphics settings maxed out, so I can't speak to how well it'll run on older PCs, but I can say the graphics are a significant step forward, albeit in more subtle ways. I wasn't immediately blown away by the improvements, but as I played and saw the detail on the animations, how the lighting looked both inside and outside that I started to appreicate the improvements.

I also liked that by default the UI actually gets out of your way until you need it. I also can pay the UI design the highest compliment possible: I was quickly able to forget about it and just play the game. Things work as I would expect them to, and with a couple minor exceptions, like how to bring up the world map, I was able to concentrate on WHAT I wanted to do rather than HOW to do it.

There are more loading screens than Sims 3, but the framerate is rock-solid smooth, and load times were on the order of a few seconds at most.

In addition to going back to bare-bones itemization while we wait for DLC after DLC, there aren't many features I'd expect to be in on the ground floor that aren't there. While I didn't do much of my own clothing and pattern design I was surprised to see that gone now. I never did too much of that, but people who loved doing that level of detail will no doubt greatly miss it.

There are also a few bugs around, like an almost-amusing habit of the new sims to feel they need to keep swapping seats with each other between interactions. But overall, given the complexity of the game, I found it quite playable with only a few of those bugs causing any significant frustration.

The other major improvement they've *finally* accomplished, at least from my perspective: your sims needs like hunger, bladder, energy and so on, while still providing structure and some challenge to the game, no longer feel like constant drains on your ability to just have FUN in the game, especially early on. Even when just beginning the game it feels like you have much more time during a typical Sims day to do cool things instead of ceaselessly directing your sims to eat, pee, sleep, shower, eat repeat repeat repeat.

I started playing launch day at 7:30 am and didn't stop until (slightly later than usual) bedtime that evening, so that for me is the utlimate litmus test: I got lost in the game, and already have lots of ideas for what direction I want to take the Merrick family tonight and later this week.

My advice to players new to the series: Don't hesitate to dive right in! Returning players? Read up on how the world design has changed since Sims 3 and what features may or may not have made it to the latest generation. If you liked a lot of the minutiae of design work or the wide-open feel of the world you may not be happy, but if you're like me and like the core gameplay the most then you'll probably have many hours of fun ahead of you.

Was there seriously a loading screen to walk 10 feet from my house? Lets check that ............. again. Yup, definitely a loading screen. At least with this, I know that this game is extremely optimized... for tablet play. Heck, this game would be great for multiplayer play as well. Wait, what was that? This game utilizes neither multiplayer nor tablet hardware? You know what? That's fine, I can probably buy those features for a premium a few months down the line. Probably all the missing features might be worth, I don't know, $150 within a few years time. I mean, why offer a complete game at launch when micro transactions are the future! Passive aggressiveness aside, this game is solid if you've never played a Sims game before and have an industrial pair of EA branded blinders ($14.99 for the deluxe super limited edition blinders). However, if you have prior love for the Sims, this game is a complete and utter waste of money. Stick to the previous installments with the dozens of dlc you probably already have from sales, and hope that EA finally kicks the bucket so this franchise can be picked up by people who actually care about their customers and not just about their wallets. The game seems that it's focused on only your lot, if you want to travel to a community lot or another household lot, you really have to make an effort... The loading screen is short, sure, but it gives the game another feel, a bad feel. Not to mention that when you decide to travel your sim magically fades and the loading screen pops (I mean, come on!?). With these loadscreens, I hardly ever want to travel, they make you lazy.

Smarter Sims? I believe not. They are just like in the Sims 3, but with some improvements like multitasking, which is nice, and stuff like that. Emotions aren't as interesting as they told us in the trailer or livestreams. It's just a feature that I would trade in for all the content cut out.

The SimGurus really overrated the game, they said it was fantastic, and no, it isn't. There's a long way to go. I do have faith though, that thanks to the expansion packs that might come, the game will get better.

Do I think I've been fooled? I paid 70$ for a Sims base game, it probably should've been less, but hey, I liked the game. It looks amazing and I'm sure that with future EP the game will be great. The only thing is that I've got bored because the gameplay is repetitive due to the lack of features.

To everyone saying that it looks worse than the Sims 3 (graphics), what are you thinking? It looks far more better, and it's beautiful.

I'm going to continue playing now, see what I can discover and gain motivation, because right now, I'm bored as frick.

Thank you for reading. Good luck EA, I know you can do it.

This game gets boring really quickly, and a ton of features were removed. Just another sign of EA's greed.
Forgot to mention about the obnoxious graphics.

I've been very impressed with the Sims 4. While there are things I'm not jazzed about (neighborhood system, for example), the game is impressive in many other aspects. It runs very well, for example, on non-gaming PCs (like my Surface Pro 2). Low-end computers still get an amazingly smooth, fast, and responsive game. It runs very well, for example, on non-gaming PCs (like my Surface Pro 2). Low-end computers still get an amazingly smooth, fast, and responsive game. The ability to scale that up to ultra settings on a gaming PC/laptop (like a Razer Blade) shows some pretty awesome improvements in the program coding, and I think the developers deserve a lot of credit for what must have been a lot of fine tuning. I've been very impressed with the UI changes as well: it's not perfect (keyboard shortcuts, for example, need some work), but it's a marked improvement over the Sims 3.

I think people would benefit from examining what expectations they have for this new game. Regarding content -- I don't think it's fair to compare it to the years-long content war chest of the Sims 3. When I compare the original Sims 3 release content to the Sims 4, I find them to be very comparable. The reaction of "the Sims 4 just didn't do it for me like the Sims 3 did" is, of course, valid, but I'd encourage those who feel that way to examine whether or not their impression comes from criticism of the Sims 4 or from burnout from the Sims playstyle mechanics. When I ponder about how they could have "shaken up" the core play mechanics, it doesn't take long for me to realize that there isn't a lot I'd want changed! Change for change's sake isn't always helpful, and fixing what isn't broke can put a lot of strain on a franchise.

On the whole: I'm glad they kept the solid play mechanics from the Sims 3 because they were/are great. I don't fault the Sims 4 for having less content than the present-day Sims 3 behemoth, and it sounds like new content will come faster and more reliably to the new platform. I think we need to give credit where credit is due: the game itself runs orders-of-magnitude better than its predecessors on a huge swath of PCs (it runs so well on my Surface Pro 2, it's unbelievable) -- reflecting a better back-end coding platform which speaks well to the game's future -- and the user experience (UI, music, etc.) is markedly improved.

If you love the Sims and don't mind a temporarily restricted content catalog (at least in comparison to what you're used to), you aren't going to regret jumping to the Sims 4. It's great, it's fun, and it's more of the Sims. (Which is exactly what you want!)

The lack of creativity, the endless key features removed (including Create A Style, Toddlers, Family Trees, Swimming Pools, Open World, Carpools, just a TINY example), the focus on "weird" Sims, after just an hours play I feel alienated. Normal job options are no longer available (Medical, Business, Education etc.) and are replaced with downright ludicrous alternatives such as Villian, Comedian, Secret Agent and Tech Guru.

It's okay though, because EA will make up for it by continuously lying to you all and charge you a further $400 or so for a complete game in the form of DLC and Expansion Packs.

At least my copy can returned, and I can return to The Sims 2, the last time I felt they really cared about what should be this great franchise.

Another big anoying things is bugs.
My sims are sometimes stuck in walls, the music is running wild (i seems there are multiple tracks played at the same time), and I have some grafic glitches when moving objects around.
Sure, its the first week for the game. But what in hell, was there no internal testing?
These bugs are so obvious to me, how could they make it to the final product?

For me EA would have done better by focusing on the gameplay, content and game mechanics than all the other stuff around the game.
What is the benefit of the community stuff when the actual game is not satisfying.

For 70 bucks im really extremly disappointed from what I got.

Its most innovative new features are subtle and largely overshadowed by the sense of loss from conspicuously absent content from earlier (base) games in the series. The streamlined interface creates the illusion that it has even less content, and the smarter AI... isn't.

**** Others are describing what's missing and broken, so I'll tell you why you should buy it when there's a sale or the price comes down. (-1-) Multitasking is HUGE, and even though it's quirky, it's such a step up from the previous Sims that I wouldn't want to go back. But when you see them watching tv, eating, and talking with multiple people at the same time, you'll get it. (-2-) The building tools are insanely more powerful than they were before. Being able to pick up your entire house and shift it over a tile or rotate the whole thing is awesome. (-3-) Moodlets were my favorite thing from the Sims 3, and "emotions" are a nice extension of them. Basically, it gives you a *variety* of "good moods" and "bad moods" that have special effects. (-4-) The character models and animations are a big step up - especially given that the animations for many activities (subtly) change in response to the Sim's mood.

I've never taken the time to share my impressions of a game, and rarely actually post reviews, but given the amount of mixed reviews this game is getting, I thought I would quickly share my own thoughts to help anyone who is sitting on the fence about purchasing right now.

I have been off work for both yesterday and today, and I have unashamedly binged on TS4. I wasn't going to purchase the game because of the press reviews being held back, but I couldn't resist CD Keys offering it for £25. It is massively overpriced on Origin IMO. I really didn't think the little extras of the deluxe bundle or whatever is worth the extra money, especially for just handful of silly items.

I have a late 2011 15" MacBook Pro top spec, running Windows 7 on Bootcamp, and have been able to run the game with high settings, ultra settings makes it sound like it's going to take off. I know many are frustrated with TS4 not being available on Mac, I for one am not. TS3 ran terribly on my Mac OS, and crashed constantly. I (unhappily) Bootcamped my Mac just for The Sims 3 & Simcity, TS3 ran so much smoother and looked massively better graphically, and haven't looked back.

The game looks beautiful, and runs fantastically, and I am sure that this is not just down to my computer spec, it's just the way the game is built. I am so happy that I can quickly jump into my sims game without having to wait about 5-10 minutes for the main loading screen like TS3. I have not once experienced a bug/glitch/crash/hang, I wouldn't have been able to say this if I had been playing TS3 for around 20 hours like I have TS4 so far.

Sure, loading screens are more frequent, but they are literally 5-15 seconds long... We aren't talking minutes! Sure, it's not an open world, but I would rather an individual lot being loaded at once and have a smooth gameplay experience with my Sims, rather than a laggy one due to my machine constantly processing areas of the game I am not even looking at.

Build/Buy mode I have found to be pretty great. I love that they have finally integrated build mode and buying mode, the integration is flawless. In regards to the catalogue of stuff available, I haven't been too disappointed, I've found that there's plenty of stuff for a BASE game. Most disappointing thing for me is no dishwashers or trash compactors, I find washing up/taking out the trash nearly as annoying as the real life tasks! I really like being able to buy pre-built rooms. If you just want a quick build or extension, it's a great option to use.

I understand people's views that it may be lacking in content, but we must remember this is a base game, it's a foundation for great things to come. It will cost money, but it's always been the way The Sims has worked.

Emotions and multi-tasking are nice new touches, but don't affect my gameplay too much. I have nearly reached the top of the Tech Guru, and also the Astronaut careers, and have found it fun and challenging. I'm not too disappointed with the removal of "rabbit holes", to me they were not useful, and added little depth in the first place, I do just kinda miss getting in the car rather than just disappearing. I have honestly not once used the "motherlode" cheat, and have only on occasion used "rosebud", and have been really just working hard to explore the career ladders and earn honest simoleons, without becoming bored and resorting to cheating!

The discovery of the Forgotten Grotto and the Sylvan Glade is pretty cool, and can't wait to see if any other little easter eggs/hidden places are in the game!

TLDR: I think that The Sims 4 is a solid foundation for future expansion. The engine/behind the scenes stuff is super smooth, and loading times are short and sweet, hopefully remaining short after future expansions. I have not got bored with the content currently available in the base game after around 20+ hours of gameplay. However, I wouldn't say it's worth the £50-60+ from Origin, look around.

Oh EA. You know it's sad when you make a game so bad that I feel the need to let everyone know why it sucks...

They left out: Cars, open worlds, CAST, repair man, pools, toddlers, hills, burglars, cemeteries, color wheel, ghosts, the move object on/off cheat, schools, work places and MANY other things...

But here are some major PROS:
-Origins gallery is AMAZING. You can almost instantly bring households and homes into the game.
-Emotions are a lot more in depth, but this can also be frustrating..

But let me just share with you my first 6 or so hours of gameplay.

I started off in CAS (Create-a-Sim) in hopes to make a normal, married couple. First thing I noticed was that the color wheel was missing... I always took it for granted in The Sims 3, but then I realized how important it was in the creativity aspect of the game. I had a hard time finding heels that matched my dress, lipstick that matched my heels.. just simple stuff. Which also applies to everything in the house. It is very frustrating getting items to match eachother. I guess it's good that you can switch between the two worlds there are.. which are pathetically small.. But wait! There's more! Sub-sections in each world in which there are about 5 lots each, in which you need to sit through a loading screen each time you switch between them. You need your phone (which you automatically get, not earn) in order to go anywhere. There are no cars, and you cannot see your workplace, or the school; Your sims just vanish and come back later. One good thing is you can super-speed through the night when everyone in the household is sleeping. If one person is napping, and one is sleeping, this doesn't work. Same goes with working. You need to complete certain challenges before advancing in careers.. which take up a lot of time.

Emotions: I don't like how some traits now have some negative connotations with them. For example, being a slob means dirty surroundings don't bother you, yet your sim causes things to get dirtier faster around the house.. and this goes with about half the traits (if I remember correctly, apologizes if I'm wrong).

    There were a few glitches...
    1. My sim was signaling there was something in the way when she tried to get in bed, when there wasn't.
    2. My sim was signaling there was something in the way when trying to get inside the house... when there wasn't.

Making a house seems like it would be better but it really isn't even fun anymore because the sense of creativity is gone with how easy it is.

If I got more into how many things were missing from this game, you'd be reading this for hours.

When playing The Sims 3 base game for the first time, I was on it for weeks, thoroughly entertained. With The Sims 4 I got bored very fast and didn't know what to do with my sims within 4 or 5 hours, so I just made sims and rooms to post to the gallery.

It's all missing. Everything that made The Sims what it is was is mostly gone in The Sims 4.

The fact of the matter is this game was definitely not worth the 80$ I spent for the premium edition that comes with a crappy little book and some extra content.

Origin wants you to hope that this game will get better with more expansion packs, so that you'll buy them. If you haven't tried The Sims 3, I recommend buying it instead with some expansion packs, because they're all 20$ now instead of 40$. You would save big $bucks$.

If you still want to try it out, get it online through origin. They have a 24hr refund policy. If you don't like it, you get 100% of the money you spent back.

The Sims 4 is a "core" game in a franchise that has been wildly successful and around longer than kids born in the 2000s. It has plenty of added features and is created on a brand new engine that is designed around being as smooth and accessible as possible, even on the lowest end of computers.

So why am I giving this game a zero?

I think most people are confused as to what an expansion pack is supposed to be. An expansion was a way for a developer to continue to develop updates for a game. The process of patching new content for software that's already released costs a lot of money and resources. When you purchase an expansion pack, you're paying for the team to continue to patch in new content.
Expansion packs for video games should be considered just that. A patch that elaborates upon the core game in a way that completes the experience.

    By ignoring content they've already released into the franchise; they've made the base game smaller and bareboned. They've ignored all the iterations they've released of their software. Yes. The game runs very well. (minus a crash or two I've received with the autosave function being non-existent despite the claim that it's implemented) It looks fine, but it's full of archaic loading screens;
invasive saving, and several design choices that boggled my mind to the point where I simply couldn't continue playing.

There's such an exceptional amount of customization to a Sim's body and face-- very few complexion changes (every Sim ends up looking like a barbie), limited make-up or hair colors.
Every Sim ends up looking the same with one of the 21 total male hair styles or the slightly more extensive 25 female hair styles.

Teens, Young Adults, Adults and Elder are all the same height with very few differences that place them apart. Why even have variation?

The neighborhood system is very restrictive. Under the current system it's completely possible to run out of lots to place Sims. In fact, if you want a new neighborhood for each family you make? Can't happen. They all exist parallel to each other in the same neighborhood.
And I.. just the jobs and what happens when your Sims are on different lots from each other.

I spent 60$ USD on a complete experience and instead of getting Microsoft Word I received Notepad.

However, EA customer service is pretty exceptional lately. I'm very, very happy with my refund.

After reading SO SO SO many negative reviews, and a handful of fake looking positive ones, I paid out despite the bad taste everyone's comments left in my mouth. I really am glad I bought it. We all know it's lacking certain features of previous sims games, but guess what? This isn't previous sims games! This is a brand new game, just like we asked for. I would have been let down, honestly, if it was just the Sims 3 with some new graphics flair. EA set out to make a new game and they did. It's not as though it's so incredibly different that I don't know what I'm doing when I play; after being a die-hard sims fan since The Sims 1, I intuitively knew how to navigate the world and play with my people.

The absolute coolest part of the whole game is just how rich their personalities are. I made a sim of my friend, Katie, and wow.... Just wow. It looks and acts like her. She gets really excited and playful like she does, and she even came to the sim of me to ask for advice (and of course my sim goes to her and vents). The relationship dynamic in this game is really what makes it. We have not seen anything like this in previous games. The old sims felt more like empty vessels dressed to feel like people, and we fill in the gaps with our gameplay. Now it feels like I'm playing a game with rather intelligently designed characters.

I have only a few gripes about create-a-sim. I wish the invisible "sliders" were a bit more dynamic, as well as, of course, I wish there was a better selection for clothing options. I really hope we see accessories like cardigans or scarves in the future. I think the best part about the new CAS is if I'm too lazy to make a cool new sim and I just was to start playing, I can just click a button and use other people's creations. That sure beats going with a goofy "random" sim, and I don't have to put in any effort to get a sim worth playing.

You really have to have a sense of humor with this game. Stupid things happen, and it is hilarious. There are a plethora of llama jokes, puns, and pokes at pop culture (did we expect less??). The sims do really silly things on their own, too, like how the Katie sim was talking to an old guy, but then the conversation got awkward, so she ran into her bedroom and hid under the covers. It's also a good giggle the first time you see a pair of sims take a selfie together, or when a sim slips out of a conversation while they get lost in their phone. It's such a mock-up of real life, it's hard not to laugh.

And of course, this is launch day, after all. There are a few glitchy, weird things that happen, but I'm sure these are kinks that will work out in the near future. This game does not appear to me as having been "rushed" or as being "unfinished."

I truly do not understand what all of the negative fuss was over. I'm not sure how these people were so disappointed. I recommend that if you're curious to see how it plays, go and get it. I know it's a bit of money and you don't want to be let down, but I know I'm glad I did it. You can always download & pay for it through Origin, and then if you really do hate it, get your money back through the "great game guarantee" or whatever they advertise. Take other reviews with a grain of salt, because something seems fishy to me.

So, bottom line, I give it 8/10. The two points were lost for the opportunities that the developers missed when creating the game (which we have all been discussing at length), and because the base sims games are never as cool as it gets in the 2-4 years after release. Form your own opinion of it before you complain about it!!

The creativity you can do is just abysmal to it's predecessors. Building and creating is simple and easy but you have just a couple options to work with. Sims clip through objects and ghost through people. The story progression is non-existent, if you don't personally do it then nothing happens outside your family. Its horribly immersion breaking and huge step backwards. So many features were taken out it's sad. The background of your world is literally a picture. Feels like the Sims 2.5 or a mobile game with enhanced graphics.

Hello people, i want to start my review by stating that 1. I have all the sims games ever made, and 2 I actually do enjoy this game, not sure why, but i do. It is a very charming game. I see all of these bad reviews and wonder "did they actually play the game?" and why is it that even though they claim there is pros to the game they still give it a 0. I came to the conclusion that they (the other reviewers)are eithe rpayed off or angry disillusioned rabid no-longer-fans, that is all they are.
    The Pros:

Reasons I enjoy this game, the new building and sim creation tools are awesome. The gameplay feels quite solid, and i feel that my sims are actually alive. In sims 3, i didnt feel the same way, simple as that. I actually preferred the sims 2. (Though sims 3 did feel like a cool rpg-simulation sort of thing. with all the expansions) The soundtrack is very good (though i am still a big fan of the ORIGINAL sims soundtrack) The collectibles are many and interesting. (I believe sims 3 shipped ORIGINALLY with less?), The careers are Few, but the new "room rewards" are very rewarding. The aspirations are multitiered this time around (its no longer just a single cut out and dry goal) its like a quest line now (which i honestly prefer). And many other things.

    The Cons:

Ok we all knew this was coming, my biggest gripe is the removal of pools and ghosts (WHY DID YOU REMOVE GHOSTS EA.. WHY) the ghosts in sims 3 may have been boring, but in sims two they were awesome, I was hoping for some interesting ghosts this time around, (for my legacy games) but nope, its no happening.
Pools are gone, UGH. (we all share this disappointment)

The toddler life state (which i loved, is gone)

I can go one for awhile, but im going to stop here and say that despite the removal of these things (and the fricken weird teens), the game still FEELS solid.
I also saw some of the plans for expansions, and they plan on doing a castaway type expansion , I fricken loved the sims 2 castaway and will WILL buy that expansion when it comes out).

Given all the complaints I expect ea to react, also for those who wish to vent, on the sims 4 forums they added a stickied feedback thread, THROW ALL YOUR HATE THERE, NOW, to "encourage" ea to readd ghosts pools and toddlers. They will hopefully listen if they want to make money.

Overall sims 4 is Good, for what it is, But it definitely could use some improvements.

But no... sadly this is the full retail version of The Sims 4. I even went ahead and got the premium pack. I actually figured with or without the pack there should still be a decent amount of items to place in your house hold. You want to know the truth? This game has less items than the first Sims. I will admit the multitasking of sims is very cool, but it's the only polished thing in the entire game. Even the options menu is sad. It has about as many options as an early 90's DOS game. There really isn't much you can do at all with the sims themselves.... what they can do is more entertaining than ever to watch the first few times. From what I could see there is really no outdoor activities at all. Yada yada but you know what the saddest thing about this is? You just know that in a few years and after $1,000 of expansion packs this will be a good game.... and that's the problem.... this first incarnation of The Sims 4 is nothing but bate to advertise future DLC. On some developer's computer somewhere there is a fully functional and much improved Sims 4.... but sadly only if you are sucker enough to buy every expansion and DLC even after this insult - will most of you ever have enough patience to see it.

Goodbye Maxis. EA is the end of another great gaming company.

Played several hours, lost interest fairly quickly. I found a lot of things empty or underwhelming. And though I realize it's still only the vanilla game, I'm not so forgiving after paying $60. Meh...I've requested my refund, I just can't justify funneling money into DLCs to make the game more enjoyable like I did with The Sims 2 and 3.

In fact, in game, subtle changes appear over time if your Sim doesn't eat properly or exercise. However, the CAS lacks customization options for eye colour, hair colour and is certainly lacking on the clothing front; no surprise here, really, as Maxis has always provided a limited number of fashion choices. What was really disappointing to me was the fact that colour options are limited to just a few pre-selected choices. I was hoping that wouldn't extend to the build/furniture options, but wouldn't you know it, you're limited there as well.

Aside from those issues, I was hoping game play would keep be suckered in. Nope. The new interactions are cute, but the game failed to motivate me to keep going. Your Sim goes to work on their own, and travelling is limited to switching between a few (four in the one world) community lots. Game play becomes akin to playing the mobile or Free Play versions. I don't think I'd be able to sit and play long enough to have a good run at a legacy.

There is limited time for your Sim to socialize once they've found a job; you have to complete menial tasks in order to be promoted, and these tend to take up a lot of time and energy. I didn't really have the desire to socialize anyway, since going out means you're bombarded by three or four NPCs at a time, and they never stop talking to you. Since you don't have the option to limit autonomy (it's either you have it or you don't), you pretty much just let your Sim and the others do whatever they want.

This game was a huge disappointment for me. I've been waiting and waiting, but what I got was boring. If I wanted to play the mobile version with better graphics, I would've just purchased it for my phone. $80.00 for limited game play seems ridiculous. Thank God EA offers a refund within 24 hours of launching your digital copy.

I sincerely hope that after a few patches, and perhaps a major expansion launch, this game will be worth the money. The updated Create-A-Sim and the build mode are everything I've wanted in The Sims 3, but the game play just isn't on par for me.

I don't think people are rating this game fairly for what it is. Most are saying "NO COLOR WHEEL, NO TODDLERS? 0/10!" Not to mention, this is self-inflicted on EA's part for pushing garbage for so long.

Maybe I'm being a little lenient because of how much TS3 disappointed me. Clunky gameplay. Ugly sims. All around laggy game. Even after EPs, I couldn't bring myself to keep playing it.

This game, for starters, at least feels like a full game, even with what's missing from TS3, I really think it holds its own as a Sims base game. The UI is beautiful and the graphics, OH GOOD LORD THE GRAPHICS. I'm running on an NVIDIA GTX 770 and 16G of RAM. The game runs amazing and at extremely high framerates.

While they cut alot from TS3, it was a lot of stuff that didn't matter to me. Toddlers were boring if not a chore after so long. Yeah, it added to the realism, but not enough to save it for me.

The new build more is amazing. Window height, wall height, roofing tool, fences, etc etc etc. I don't like how almost all the doors are white, but aside from that its great. Very easy to use, which is usually a complaint I would have about EA dumbing down the game. This time, even if EA thinks I'm a monkey, they did it right. A huge improvement on a mode that hasn't seen a real update since TS2.

Admittedly, I was disappointed in buy mode. Very limited, but the style selections are nice.

I miss the 3D neighborhood, but I don't miss the open world. Going from place to place was like an in-game loading screen. Very boring to me.

You have to understand... Everyone plays the sims differently. I really love building and creating the world around my Sims. Some people hate building and love raising families.

The game is a solid installment, and even with whats missing from TS3, I really think the good outweighs the bad.

At first I gave it a 9/10, but that's a little generous. If you liked any Sims game, this one is worth picking up. 8/10

No burglars, repair man, carpools, dishwashers, newspapers, toddlers, pools, etc. If it wasn't for the core gameplay and new features such as multi-tasking and emotions, It wouldn't be nearly as good. The worst thing is probably the fact that the game feels so empty. Public places are more like chat rooms there's almost nothing to do besides talk to people, sometimes you can dance or play guitar for tips or tell jokes and play chess, but that's about it. The buy mode is so very limited as well. There's not even a video game console category the closest thing you have is computers, a tablet or your phone. One thing I can't get over is that teens looks nearly identical to young adults, young adults have broader shoulders...that's about it. Sims 4's pros rely on socialization, multi tasking and more realistic socialization, neighbors hang around the district outside your house alot so its very easy to meet people and I like the small touch that friends randomly knock on your door and if you're busy working on your writing skill you can talk to them while doing so. The loading screens may be frequent but theyre not that much longer than a sim driving across town in sims 3. Overall it has its good parts and it bad parts but I can't accept it has a serious successor to sims 3. If youre looking for a new sims game to play my advice would be wait for a bundle like the sims 3 starter pack for sims 4. $60+ is definitely not worth it, just stick to sims 3 for now, sims 3 will probably still be better by the time the sims 4 era ends and sims 5 is announced anyway. I have owned all the Sims games, and every time you play a new Sims game you need to learn how it works.

I think they spent too much time on how to customize the look of your Sims body, that they didn't keep in mind about all the other things you can customize like clothes, objects, wallpaper, etc. It would be nice if they had more traits for sims, and hair color choices like they had in the sims 3. I hope they do an update or something where they can add all of that and soon.

Otherwise there are some features that are better than the sims 3 like the roof is much easier to use. You can place windows either low, in the middle, or high on a wall. You can also change the wall heights. Also being able to move a whole room around is a great feature.

I haven't really had much time to play more with this, but I do wish they would bring back the customization of each item. Also I wished the camera/ screen would move more like the sims 3 where you can navigate it at different angles so you can get different views of the house.

DO NOT compare this new title with the sims 3 with all expansions. I personally feel they have brought the game back to it's roots for what it's really about. For what made the Sims 1 so successful, as well as no. 2.

The emotions in the characters are a nice touch, but you can see that they fell short by marketing this as the main feature, that was a big no-no. That's where this title falls flat on its face. We needed more content, a bit more depth, not to the simulation part, but towards the story. I.E. Sims Progression etc.

People need to realize that they removed the open world map view (no loading screens) as this is what made The Sims 3 laggy, even on high performance computers. There was no solution to fix the lag, but I'm glad they made this decision as I'd rather a quick loading screen over lag anyday of the week.

So for a simple Pro and Con List:

    + Greatly Built Game Engine
    + Nicer art style
    + Good simulation mechanics
    + Lag Free

    - Needs more content
    - Missing key features that we successful in The Sims 3, I.E. Story progression.
    - No CAS

+- No open world, lag free (take it as a positive or negative as you wish)

CAS is awesome and the clothing options in this one are really good, emotions are fun but working around them can be tricky that's the point though. I'm a long time Sim fan and most other fans I know have really enjoyed the game so far, but people's hate for Ea is giving the game a bad rep it doesn't deserve. I'd say get the game and play it for yourself if you're really interested. IT'S AMAZING AND WORTH IT! Expand

This game is a huge disappointment. At first I was looking forward to it, but overtime we all found out what EA have axed from the game and I grew more and more optimistic. So now I have it... and it's terrible. I can't, and won't, play this. Money back please.

This entire game is a huge disappointment. No sandbox, no sim careers, and the graphics are not better than sims 3's. I wasted 50 $ on this, luckily I can get a refund 24h from purchase.

Like so many of us, I have enjoyed all of The Sims games over the last decade. This new one is a big disappointment for me. I would have rather spent my money on a Sims 3 expansion pack I don't yet own. I will be sticking to the Sims 3 for a long time until I see a full game release.

The definitive the sims experience. With a very cool enviorement, the game provides an immersive feel that you are in the true control of your character. The pros: great graphics, nice music, fantastic character creation, fantastic house builder (the best of all of them), great new concepts such as smartphones and enviorement colors that change your sim moods.
    Cons: lack of pools (yeah),

It is an amazing game, don't feed the trolls here, there are just a lot of ppf that hate changing...

The game mechanics are great. It runs WAY smoother than The Sims 3, but in reality it isn't worth $50-$60. The content just isn't there yet. There are a couple of bugs, but I know everything will be worked out soon.

I've only played this game a few hours and will update my review if my opinion changes over time. So far, I'd say this game is decent. Yeah, there's not a lot to do right now, but there were 11 expansion packs for TS3, so yeah... a base game is going to feel like that. I feel disappointed, but I can remember feeling this exact level of disappointment when The Sims 3 came out. I feel disappointed, but I can remember feeling this exact level of disappointment when The Sims 3 came out. I hated TS3 at first. I hated the graphics and I even hated the open world.

So I'm going to bypass the whole "there's so much less to do part". I don't think someone can honestly give a good opinion of that unless they're brand-new to the Sims franchise or have only played the base games. It should also be fair to note that I'm coming at this as a Sims fan, and my score is based on previous games - I'm too biased at this point to judge the quality on other games.

Okay, so I hate the loading screens. They're there all the time. I also hate the fact that you can't see your Sim going to work. But let's face it, The Sims 3 had a myriad of bugs that made the game unplayable. The Sims 2 didn't. I have a feeling that a lot of sacrifices have been made so that, 11 expansions from now, we can still have a stable game.

There are a few things that I don't like about the game (teen heights, but what I see looks very proimising for the future of the franchise. The game runs smoother, Sims' interactions are way more realistic, and overall I'm seeing a LOT more creativity in this game. The Sims 3 reused a large amount of interactions from The Sims 2, and revisited TS2 for almost every expansion. The Sims 2, by contrast, was the most creative game of the series. It did reuse ideas from TS1, but every single expansion completely changed the game. The Sims 4 is being led by the same creative director as TS2, so I think that future expansions will include favorites from previous games, but will give us a lot of brand new ideas to play around with.

Bottom line is, this franchise needs a breath of fresh air, and the future looks promising. That is, if it can stay alive that long.

While an enjoyable title that has been polished up and seems generally very modern, it cannot be expected that The Sims 4 is not going to be compared to The Sims 3. In this respect, it seems that while the game took a few steps forwards, it also took a few steps backwards by abandoning features that were very helpful and appreciated in the previous versions. It does have new features that people have been waiting for, such as emotions and more personality for the Sims. As for now, for some players it may not quite be worth to abandon The Sims 3 for it, but for new players looking for a first experience with the franchise, they may have an easier time navigating than former The Sims 3 players. People that have previously enjoyed the latter may be disappointed by the menus (Sim creation, building, or navigating town), as they have been so massively oversimplified that they are now actually confusing.

The Sims 4 is just a foundation of a game. How would you react if you bought a new Elder Scrolls game and realized that half of the cities are unavailable (because TES6: World Adventures is around the corner), there are only 4 weapons (TES6: Accessories), you can’t ride horses (TES6: Pets), there are only 12 quests (TES6: Careers), 2 guilds (TES6: Friends) and 3 spells (TES6: Supernatural)?
