Over the past several months you have logged many hours aiding the Mortician in daily tasks along with learning the ins and outs of the embalming process as well as how to properly handle and care for the deceased.

Late one night, you are called into work to handle some embalmings. Death doesn't keep day time hours. But there is something different about these bodies because there is something different about you.

Perform embalmings, handle the various jobs around the mortuary, and exorcise demonic forces. All in a day's work.

The Mortuary Assistant manages to capture the power of true horror with unpredictable jump scares at every turn. Constantly changing item locations and demon characteristics force you to pay attention and not get complacent. With well-timed audio and unexpected surprises, the fear factor never leaves and you have to adapt to the horrors. While controls aren’t perfect and visual graphics aren’t at their best, it’s still a horror experience worth diving into.

The Mortuary Assistant is a great game that can only be made better down the line with patches and quality of life fixes. Interruptive but brief bugs did not deter from the wondrous and horrific experience to be had. Deep, bone-chilling moments are aplenty, offering some of the biggest spooks I’ve experienced in a game ever. Narrative moments provide haunting and memorable imagery, making The Mortuary Assistant a must-play horror experience this year. So get dissecting, investigating, and hunting.

The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition delivers a chilling and immersive horror experience that will keep you on edge. With its atmospheric design and unsettling gameplay, it’s a must-play for horror fans, though it may be too intense for the faint of heart.

Creepy mortician horror with believable corpse preservation and procedural demon terror. However, both quickly become monotonous.

It has multiple endings and each play through is usually different allghough some things can repeat.

You work on preparing bodies in a funeral home, and then a bunch of odd things start going down. This game is very jump scare heavy, but I had a great time playing. Once you know exactly what you are in for, it is a great game. Is this game going to be good for 20-30 hours? Probably not, but the game is very worthwhile if you are going to be streaming or playing with friends. Expand

The only thing you have to do is check bodies, and in 1 hour of checking bodies it's over. the developers lied, they said that it lasted 5 hours, but the only thing that can make the game last 5 hours is to play the game 5 times! This is NOT replayability. If you don't play the game 5 times, there is no game. a very cheap resource to extend the duration of the game. If you have already played the free demo on steam, play it 4 more times and there you have exactly the full game. definitely not worth 25 bucks something that is exactly the same as the demo x5 Expand
